I was looking for a camera that had a quick sutter speed, small and sleek, and touch screen. I was very impressed with the camera--at first. It arrived promptly. My only complaint is that I will never return to a re-chargerable battery camera again. It's very inconvenient. I prefer AA or AAA battery cameras instead. The camera functions fine, but my mistake was not researching what type of battery this camera took. If this camera was battery operatored (AA), it would be perfect. Would I order another one? No. I still recommend it. It got 3 stars because of my own preferences.

Camera shoots out of focus alot and selecting shooting modes can be difficult and complicated. But for the price, it is a god deal.

Picture quality is great. A variety of options and extrremely long battery life. The onscreenmenu's could be easier to understand. The manual that is on disc is very thorough though. Fairly easy to use, compact and even takes pretty good video.

i got this camera as a birthday present from my mom when we went to figure out what camera i wanted we were in Walmart little did i know it was touch screen! when i got home and found out it was i was super excited! everything is easy to use! and in all my experiences of cameras this is the best! it takes amazing pictures! i absolutely love it!! and i have even dropped it a couple of times and it has been outside in freezing cold while i took pictures and even a little water and it still held up! i highly recommend this camera!! i have no problem with this camera at all!

I received the camera with all noted accessories without any problems. The dvd gives alot of instructions because this little camera has alot of bells and whistles. The pictures are great! Quite an upgrade from my 5 yr old Kodak that gave out.

The battery that comes with this camera is horrible. I was able to eek out four months of use before it stopped charging. I bought a third party battery and haven't had any issues.

Nice little camera that plays its role well. My wife wanted a point and shoot that she could drop in her purse and not worry too much about. Pictures are what you would expect from a camera of this class...nothing earth shattering but due to its size, its always there for her and allows her to get pictures she would have otherwise missed. It's a solid performer that appeared to be well built.

It's slim, with lots of features. The zoom works very well, and the 16 MP gives great detail. It took a little while to get used to not touching the screen with the camera on (it takes a picture), but, in the right situation, that's a nice feature.
Battery life is a little shorter than I'd like, though.

This is the second nikon coolpix s4300 that I have purchased in the past 6 months (only bc my daughter dropped my last one). I bought this one because my sister had bought one just a few weeks before the first one I bought. I absolutely love the touch screen and the pictures turn out pretty crisp. There is some lag time with shutter between pics, but that is with almost any point and shoot. All in all it is a great camera, I also love the color editing option, very cool :)

I have been using this camera for 2 month. Its fell only once from the coffee table to wood floor and its start taking blank pictures. Quality of the pictures are not great anyway. What a waste of money. Never going to buy Nikon ever again.

This camera fits all my needs when it comes to traveling and all you want is something you can carry, pull out and KaBAM, take pictures or movies. Don't expect high dollar pics you get from a high dollar camera. Remember this is a compact, point and shoot camera...No extra gagets to carry, or big camera bags. Great for anyone who wants a good pic or movie but doesn't want to lug around a big camera. The pics are great! I recommend to anyone who wants just this. Excellent Point and shoot camera. :):)

Really like the camera alot -- I play Agility with my dgos and took it to an agility trial over this past weekend - takes great stills and very nice video - was quite pleased and impressed with the camera. HOWEVER -- the battery is another story - it came semi charged and worked while I was learning how to use the camera. After charging the battery for two days, took it to a wedding the following weekend and it stopped working -- did not get to take all the pictures I wanted! Had a neighbor test the battery in her Nikon Coolpix camera ( to make sure it was indeed the battery and not the camera) -- the battery is totally dead, will not charge - so will be sending this back to Amazon. I had read about the batteries being bad on previous models of the camera, but purchased it anyhow as I really liked my neighbors camera. Beware of the batteries !!

I ordered this camera because I got it at a good price and I loved the color. The picture quality is better than I expected and I wanted a camera that had a video app as well. It works great, I would highly recommend this camera!

Love how I have kept it in my purse for a month and it saved the day for 2 birthday parties. The one I got kept a charge for a lot longer then expected. I would definitely suggest this to friends.

I like this camera a lot. It takes amazing photos and videos. I put a 32g data card in it and it works great. But on my trip overseas, the battery died mid-day every day. To me it died way too soon for the given amount of photos I had taken. I almost returned it, but instead opted to buy two backup batteries and keep them charged and with me. This is not the type of battery you can buy in a grocery store in Brussels!

It was the camera that I needed to fill my armamentarium of photo equipment. I had a full range of Nikon large body cameras but needed something that could easily fit in a pocket and that could be used without large bags and all the other accessories. This camera fits the bill. Excellent quality, good images, easy to use and software all in the package. A great buy for a great product a a remarkably low price.

Excellent bundle value for such a high quality camera. Color choices were wide. This camera has a touch screen which most others of this type don't have. Pictures have high resolution. The shipper was prompt and sold it for $20 below other sites.

The Nikon company, when I contacted them, acted as if they had "NEVER" heard of such "ISSUES" with this line of their cameras!!!!

DO:

Send it back and/or shop for another camera NOT in this series or like me you may become SADDLED WITH IT FOREVER!!!!

The battery is broken before long. I have to pay about 23 dollars to buy a new one. I don't know why it is broken so quickly, and doubt the quality of the whole product.
