- + Компактный ,Долго держит заряд
- - Отвратительное качество фотографий.На уровне мобильника средней цены. И смартфоны и АЙФОНЫ СНИМАЮТ НАМНОГО ЛУЧШЕ.Автофокус часто ошибается даже днем. В итоге нерезкие фотки процентов 70%. Очень шумная матрица,некрасивые цвета -Canon,Sony,Panasonic за теже деньги и даже меньше дает более качественные фотки
Эта камера недоразумение. Если у вас мобильник с камерой от 2 мр ,то этот фотик брать не стоит.Разница с Мобилкой не существенна(разве,что зум) Не верите ?Проверте на яндекс-фотках. Введите там в поиске название модели и поглядите фотографии. Сплошное мыло.Даже интересные по композиции...

- + Компактная, добротно собранная с вполне удобным управлением (кто приемлет сенсорное) камера. Экран неплохой. Карты SD.
- - Здесь однозначно одно - шумная, дешевая матрица. Автофокус не всегда срабатывает корректно. И как вывод качество снимков через раз... очень привередлив к освещение, на мой взгляд вечероом со вспышкой фокусирует...

отличная модель
Цифровик просто супер, вчера приобрели с мужем, он его из рук не выпускает. Прост в обращении, фотки получаются качественные. Фотографировали в темноте, вспышка очень хорошая, снимки получаются, как в дневное время суток. Оценка +5.

I like this camera. But . . .it is not the camera i ordered. It did not come in the original packaging. Does not have its written manual in the package with it; i do not have a manual for it. I cannot get a print out of the manual for it; my printer is broken. The 2 cd's supposed to come with it, are not in the box, did not come with this camera that was delivered to me.
I want an original copy of the manual to this camera i received. I also want the cd's to work the camera i have, and to download its photos onto my computer with.
The camera that is the wrong camera, and i want it, if i can get the cd's to it, and a written manual to it is a:

I have identical perfect camera cases for all three of my cameras, even the broken one. Only need to paint the color of fingernail polish on the fronts of the cases to be able to identify them. I am still hoping to get the one that will not hold a charge, to be able to charge it. My cousin has the identical camera, charge cord and all for this one. She is going to see if her charge cord will charge this camera, to see if the problem is my charge cord.

Review for Nikon COOLPIX S4300 Digital Camera with 4 GB Memory Card, Case, and Strap (Plum)
Have owned this for Nikon camera for two years, but it still worked as expected and strong. I picked Nikon over the other brands because Nikon products are always playing catch up in innovation and technology (wide lens, LCD resolution, focus speeds, back lit sensor, true HD movie and their price is relatively lower than other big brands.
The Nikon camera captures very good video, both in bright and low light conditions. I am extremely pleased with this purchase and I am so glad I switched.(and I am the type who is very loyal to my brands)
I love the panoramic capture feature. I could easily capture a full shot of the stadium and still maintain on a 4 by 6 aspect ratio for Facebook uploading. It's a very convenient feature, especially if you always felt that you camera was just never wide enough.
The portrait feature with background blurring is pretty neat too. It just gives me option to get more creative with my compositions. My Facebook friends are loving those shots. The LCD screen is amazing too. It has one of the highest resolution in its class and it is very crisp and sharp.

For all those people who won't read reviews that don't have the 'Verified Purchase' stamp, let me tell you this little story. I bought this camera in white almost two weeks ago. I had some trouble with the touchscreen so I decided to find out some information about international returns. I spoke to Ruslyn, a very competent customer service representative who suggested that I pay to return the item to them, since the camera had a defect, and they will refund my money for the camera or send a replacement as well as refund me the cost of the return shipping. Before I finished the conversation, the power went off.
The next day I spoke to another customer representative, Taneisha, who I believe only has that job because she knows someone who deals with hiring employees. She basically told me that since I don't live in the US, I would have to pay for the return shipping. I proceeded to paste to her their policy on international returns and asked her if they had changed. After about ten minutes, she told me that they hadn't changed, but something of their fault would be me not a defective product, but only if I had received the wrong item.
"A fault of amazon meaning if we send you the wrong item." -Taneisha
..what?
In any case, I told her that I had spoken to a rep (Ruslyn) the day before and I was told that Amazon would handle the return shipping. I pay then and they would refund it to me once the item was received.
"Thanks for holding, i went back to my supervisor with the chat from the previous agent and being that you were told that we would refund the return shipping, we will make a one time exception and refund the shipping once the item gets back to us."
I had no problem with this. She asked me when I was planning on returning the item and I said tomorrow, which would have been Wednesday. Early Wednesday morning I get an email from Amazon with the subject:
"Your Amazon Account Has Been Closed."
"Hello,
A careful review of your account indicates that you've requested refunds on a majority of your orders for a variety of reasons."
I have NO idea what 'refunds' Amazon was referring to. NO idea.
My theory is that they felt it would've been better for them to just close my account instead of paying the cost of my return shipping. Since my account was closed, there is not no way for me to return it. It's also the reason why I don't have the 'Verified Purchase' stamp. To add insult to injury, they still send me emails selling me that I have unclaimed Amazon MP3 credit.
Now on to the review.
My last camera was a Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-W560 14.1 MP Digital Still Camera with Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar 4x Wide-Angle Optical Zoom Lens and 3.0-inch LCD (Black) which I absolutely LOVE. The clarity of the photos. The sleek, shiny body with the gorgeous 3 inch display. The novelty of the sweep panorama feature. The beautiful high definition video. Instead of playing it safe and going with the new Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W650 16.1 MP Digital Camera with 5x Optical Zoom and 3.0-Inch LCD (Black) (2012 Model), chose to go another route and try the Nikon Coolpix S4300 and I must say...I feel as if I made a big mistake.
Though I had some issues with mine, the touch screen interface seems smooth but not as user friendly as you would think. The photos come out crisp and clear sometimes, but othertime, they're noisy from top to bottom. Low light shots are fairly good in the correct setting; I was pleasantly surprised.
The auto-mode is a big disappoint. The camera seems as if it rarely wants to use flash..sometimes it makes me wonder. The quality of the display is advertised as 460 dots but the pixels are annoyingly visible. You see this almost plaid-like pattern in the display. It is beautiful but not much better than the Sony's 230k dot resolution.
Video mode seemed decent from the screen, I felt as if since the display is low quality, that the videos would be beautiful in reality. No such luck. I played them on my HDTV and, to be honest, it was on par with the HD videos produced my the Apple iPod touch 8GB (4th Generation) - Black - Current Version. In other words...it's not good. You also cannot use optical zoom and record audio at the same time. The autofocus also isn't that reliable.
On the plus side, touch shooting is a fun feature, and using the swipe of a finger to go through your photos is a great touch. What I've discovered is that touch shooting seems to be disabled when shooting in some scenes. Having 6x zoom is also nice though when zoomed all the way in, it's nearly impossible to get a clear, sharp shot. The one touch video button is also really useful.
Overall, it is a decent point and shoot camera. I bought it for $99.00 on sale. I wouldn't recommend buying it for more than that. I would recommend the new Sony Cybershot W650 over this. Aside

After only 1 year owning this camera, I am going to buy another one since most of my pictures from the last year were ruined and blurry from this camera. I am so tired of reviewing my photos, only to see that they are all blurry, and I wasted my time. The outdoor pictures are decent, but there is no way to get a sharp looking picture indoors with this camera. I am very disappointed with the image quality. I don't think I even got one good photo of my new puppy that was blurry or fuzzy. So disappointing. I feel like I wasted my money.

This particular camera was purchased as a gift and will be given on New Year's day. I did purchase one for myself about 18 months ago and have liked it very much. I did find that the number of features slows me down a little and I am confident that I don't get full value out of them. One feature that I discovered by accident is that you can pick the focus/light spot by tapping on the touchscreen and in about 3 seconds it will take a picture with that as the focal point and the light and/or flash suitable for that spot. That is a feature that I frequently use but did not discover in the quick reference guide. I just wish I had time to sit down and read the whole manual while being able to put it to use at the same time - that just hasn't happened - my fault, not the camera's.
The story on this purchase is that my daughter forgot to bring her camera at thanksgiving so I let her use mine. The basic operation is intuitive and she was taking pictures in minutes without any reference to the manual at all. She liked her pictures so I bought her one for Christmas. Her previous camera does not have drivers for Windows 7 and she did not have a card reader to get the pictures on to her computer. I am confident she will like the camera.
One small thing is that I felt the camera overexposed a little on both natural light and flash. It is possible to set an offest for either mode independently. I set it to underexpose by about 3/4 of a stop and now like the pictures I get. I realize that exposure to some extent is a matter of taste. I have been told by photographers much smarter than myself that underexposed photos can be repaired, overexposed photos can not. I don't do any of this repair so it really shouldn't matter to me but if I ever got the time to work with one of the photo analysis programs I would have pictures I can work with.

A great deal! Camera has some amazing features. One feature will select just one color and the rest will be B&W. Put on some deep red lipstick and take a portrait. Your lips will be red and everything else B&W. While 4GB is not a lot of storage, its a good starter kit, and for the price, its like getting it free anyway. The case is just another bonus.

Not a point and shoot. It is turn it on then wait to process. Take a picture, then wait to process. Turn it off, but wait for processor to finish before lens retracts.

My husband and I bought this camera over a year ago from a brick & mortar store after the battery charger for our Sony finally died. i was exciting to try out the Nikon, but I was really disappointed. The touch screen is always tempermental and makes showing photos to the family and older not so tech savvy grandmothers a pain in the butt.
My biggest disappointment was while taking pictures of my kids for our Christmas card. Every picture without the flash was blurry, and with the flash I couldn't get the glow of the Christmas lights like I had in the past. Also the shutter was too slow for my kids. Once I got them to smile at me, clicked the shutter and the photo actually took they were already past the smile and out of their seats running around the tree. I was finally able to get something usable in sports mode, but even then the pictures were still fuzzy. With our previous Sony Cybershot, I could get excellent photos without the flash in a normal mode. Every 3rd shot would be fuzzy, but I would just keep clicking until I got something useable. With this Nikon, it took an hour of coraling kids before I got one useable shot.

Bought my 1st 'Nikon' cam (this one) a cupla/3 months ago because bought my son one (different model) a yr or so back & he loves his, very impressed! I too am impressed & especially like touch screen control. No more Kodaks, Canons, etcs for this guy - - am with Nikon from here on!!!

Got it recently as a present and it was proved a nice little camera so far. It is very light and easy to usse - the operating system is quite straightforward and user friendly, even more for a person like me who does not know how to take picures with manually adjusted settings - there is no way I'm going to ruin my camera settings.
I'm not much into taking pictures but I'm planning a trip and I want to keep a record of that. Originally I wanted a camcorder but they were too expensive, so I decided to look for a camera with high definition video recording and it seems that this Nikon will work just fine.

I brought this for my sister as a graduation present, and she loves it! I can't really speak about all the functions it has because I've only used once but she loves it! She says the touchscreen is easy to work and its simple to load her pictures onto her computer.

Великолепно
Shipped extremely fast and arrived within two days time! Everything is perfect and the photo here does not do the color justice. The camera is much better than my old Kodak EasyShare and the carrying case makes it easy to take with me anywhere. Thank you!
