This is my first Nikon Camera, the zoom is awesome, takes full HD videos and the resolution is just great, very light and the box contains almost everything you'll need.

i just came from a trip that i need a camera ligth, fast, and easy to use it and i hit the lottery with my nikon coolpix l820

This is a great camera for the price. It takes great pictures has a really good zoom and the three inch display on the back is also great for viewing the pictures.

The video portion of this camera didn't work and caused the camera to freeze up and become non operational. Under warranty I sent it to Nikon and the replaced a chip or board that was causing the malfunction. Got the camera back and it seems to work fine now.

very nice camera sharp clear photos and nice zoom I really like it. recommend ordering extra memory and a case for it.

This camera is useless in the sunlight. You are unable to view your subject whenever there is too much sunlight. It would be nice to have an additional view finder in order to take pictures.

The picture taken from this camera are so much better than other cameras I had before. The 30x zoom function is one of the reason I bought this camera.

This camera is easy to use and works flawlessly. There are many features that I have not yet explored. It is an excellent value and so far I am thrilled with it.

I really like the zoom capacity, the clarity of the photos and the options on this camera. What I dont like is that it takes AA batteries and if you want rechargeables you have to buy them separate for $50. I did buy them b/c I love having this camera around and ready. It's not too heavy or too big. Because of the weight it is not for carrying around all the time like my pocket size point and shoot is. I got the camera in plum color and it's very pretty. It has tons of different scene options. Some work better than others but all are good. The close up option is amazing. You can photograph a text message and it reads clearly. I bought it last month before I could find any reviews on it. I am glad i took the risk.

I bought the L820 after doing a lot of research about the features, zoom, abilities. I missed out on the fact that there are NO manual options for exposure. Also, the AF seemed to have problems in portrait when zooming in. Pictures of my son, who was sitting rather still, would end up focused on the items around him, while he was slightly blurry. I returned the camera for the fact that I don't want to go on vacation, and get home just to find that a lot of the people were blurry.

I have had this camera for two weeks now. It has met all my expectations, and I am very happy with it. The powerful zoom does create problems when you are holding the camera without a tripod and you zoom it to the maximum. Most of the shots I took were blurred because of movement after the focus.

Have 2 grandchildren and love capturing every moment I can. This is the perfect tool for doing just that. Awesome

It's perfect for beginners, it takes good pictures, has the perfect size and it has good quality for that price.

and more.5 stars for an accurate description of the product. It takes gorgeous pictures, clean video, and the wide angle lens is perfect.Not very compatible with my Chromebook, but that's not the camera's fault. Doesn't overcomplicate anything and is very easy to use. Fun to experiment with.

This camera is small, easy to use, has a great zoom lens and the price is awesome. I am a casual photographer and would recommend this camera. I have owned Nikon cameras for many years and find them very reliable.

Simple and easy to use, and take great pictures. Best feature is you can take indoor pictures with out a flash.

I love this camera. The picture quality is great even zoomed all the way on something. The sound quality on videos is also really good, not distorted or muffled.

I like this camera because I have not adapted gracefully to the computer/digital age and the Coolpix L820 is simple enough for me to use.Having relied on an SLR for half a century, I'm accustomed to a viewfinder and may never fully adjust to the viewing screen in that role. But that's okay; 'not Nikon's fault.I have already recommended the L820 to others of my 75-and-over generation.

I love this camera. The shutter speed is good but the color resolution is better than any other compact camera zI have ever had. Can't go wrong with Nikon

This camera takes great pictures and very easy to use. I recently took this camera on vacation to Washington, DC and it was a joy to operate. This camera is very kid friendly. My 11 year old son was able to use this camera with ease.

Love my new Coolpix camera. Great telephoto with crisp pictures . Have used it at football games with great results.

Simple camera with good resolution. Small enough to tuck in purse. Like using AA batteries and seem to last a long time.
