PROS: The 30x zoom is impressive & since it uses 4 AA batteries things become easier not having to worry abt batteries as much. Picture clarity is great & camera features are sufficient for every scene.CONS: There is no EVF (electronic view finder) so you rely on the lcd screen. There is no manual mode so people who want to customize focus, aperture etc shouldnt buy this. However there are several features to compensate for this.I'm loving this every moment of my use and it does take clear pictures to live upto the Nikon brand.

Cool pix l820 is great . Clear pictures, easy to operate. My hands are constantly shaking and the camera accommodates it by the motion control feature. So glad I bought the model.

This is a really good camera for the price. The zoom is great, it has a lot of different user friendly settings, and takes very nice pictures. It's a little bulky, but worth it for the picture quality.

This camera has the best ever pictures in terms of clarity and color. I will definitely choose it again when ordering .

This camera is pretty easy to use. But I'm still learning. A little hard to hold still enough at high zoom (but that is to be expected). So far, so good. I'm a novice, so don't expect me to comment on any highly technical details.

Still learning how to use it and I find it difficult to not see through a small window and just use the screen = sometimes you can't focus if the sun is too bright.

Bought this camera for a trip to Europe based on the amazon reviews, and it did not disappoint. For the price, this is a great camera.

I am doing a construction project at the Marine Base in 29 Palms and this is helping keep a visual record of the progress. The Pics come out really great even in low light and the color is great. Very simple to operate andI am very happy with my purchase.

Easy to focus. Resolution is fantastic when the pictures transferred to a computer and minute details can be visualized. It is a little hard to get things in the view finder at very high zoom levels when the sun makes it hard to see the screen, but I think that would be true of any camera that does not have a direct view through a lens.

It does everything I need but controlls are tiny, I like that it has AA batteries, and that it can connect directly to my computer. Good price and light weight

The camera works great for pictures and videos. The zoom is amazing and is my perfect upgrade for a point and shot camera.I give it 4 stars just because the LCD display quality seem to be not that good and it gets easily scratched.. still I would recommend it.

I bought this camera after not doing very much research but I didn't have to. This one was what I wanted in my price range. After using it at an indorse sports event I was impressed with the zoom and over all quality of the camera. It was smaller then I thought but still was easy to use.

I just used the camera on a tripod to record an audition for a friend and the video keeps going out of focus thoroughly the taping. How do I fix this??!!I figured out the solution... it was going in and out of focus because I had the auto focus setting in video... when i changed it to single focus it fixed the problem :)

Like camera very much (more like 4 1/2 stars). Pictures have been very good, some excellent. Wish it had more manual control for some settings, especially shutter speed. Zoom is great, good detail.

I got this larger Coolpix after getting the little one a few years back. Its just as easy to use and comes in the same color of red like I like. I don't know how to use all the features yet but have been getting some great results just playing around with it.

I ordered this camera to take to Kauai.....I set in on auto and took the most amazing pictures ever. Great camera for the price.

I ordered a red one and I love it! The camera is easy to use, focuses almost instantly, and I particularly like the flash set up.

This is a neat little camera that is simple to use. I am still learning how to take action shots that are not blurry but that is my fault not the cameras. GREAT simple camera for low dollars.

This camera is amazing in color, quality, and size. It has perfect pictures and even lights up some dim backgrounds/pictures even without flash. I love this, I got it for my birthday and can't stop using it. It comes with everything and it's just an amazing product overall, I would definitely recommend this camera to anybody especially to those who aren't professional photographers but love taking pictures. :)

Got this just 1 day before our trip to Lake Tahoe. I don't have powerful batteries at home. Just dumped some normal AA batteries we bought at a local walmart. I took 400 + pictures, still the battery symbol is showing full. I am wondering if this camera needs power or run on its own. The zoom is very powerful. If you know Lake Tahoe, my son took a video of Eagle falls from the cruise , when we are at T-house. With normal eye, you can not even notice that there are falls. He don't even have a tripod. We love this camera!!
