Cool "pre-DSLR" camera for beginners just getting into photography. Lots of features to play around with before you drop the big bucks on a nice DSLR. Also, takes excellent pictures for a sub $200 point and shoot.

Easy to use; good pics. Need to keep lens cover on when not in use and remember to remove it before turning it on.

My wife was needing a new camera seen this one. She is have a great time capturing those great moments with our kids

I have used cool pix for years and i thought this cool zoom lens would be an upgrade, but I have to say it wasn't right for me. It is too heavy, the display screen scratched instantly from shirt buttons while the camera hung on me using the included strap. I had to return. I am disappointed. Maybe I will just use my iPhone from now on...but no zoom.

This camera seems easy to use and not too heavy. This is the first refurbished product that I have ever bought, so I'm hoping that it will last.

I am still getting used to the camera. So far, I am loving it. I am using it mainly for the kiddos, but I really look forward to taking it out and about. I did go to Target and purchase some screen protectors.. I would recommend something.. the screen is big!!

The Nikon L820 exceeds my expectations. Having one lens that can range from a good wide angle to a super zoom is an incredible convenience. I never want to go back to the days when I lugged around multiple heavy lenses and had to stop and change lenses for various needs. The ability to shoot in low light is awesome. The antishake ability allows me to use the zoom without a tripod even though I am 71 years old. The only problem with the camera is the size...not that it is very large or heavy by any means but it will not fit in my pocket. Can't have everything.Joel Saland,Albuquerque, New Mexico

I was looking for something smaller than a more professional type camera and I have the small Coolpix but wanted better quality pictures, so I decided on this camera. It has many photo settings and most stuff I have no clue on how to use. It took great pictures and movies. I love the stabilization setting since many times I was taking photos out of the car window.

Great budget camera. Lots of options to choose in settings for modes, and great quality. I am definitely pleased with this camera. The extended zoom works pretty well and doesn't cause too much degradation in quality and video is of good enough quality for great home movies.

This is a good camera for the price. This camera meets all of my needs and does so at a reasonable price.

I am not a camera pro, so I needed an easy-to-operate camera. The start-up instructions were very easy to understand and the pictures are great. Surprised to see it came with a lens cover, strap, video cables, and USB cable. I did not read that on the site. I highly recommend this great point-and-shoot camera for anyone.

This camera takes amazing photos. it's lightweight and easy to use. has a lot of fun filters and modes too if you like that kind of thing. my only drawback is that it takes batteries. so get yourself a battery charger and some rechargeables. For me, that made it a little old school. making it USB rechargeable would have made it far better. but other than that, I highly recommend it.

I like the camera and all its functions, the zoom works great. It works well with the batteries, I just wish it uses just one lithium battery.

Great feel when holding this camera. Takes great photos and love the zoom capabilities. But you will definitely need to add to your cart extra memory. We took four pictures and one HD video before it was full so we had to go buy memory. But now we love it!

Bought this camera for my girlfriend for her birthday to use on her trip to Hawaii.I researched all brands and read a lot of feedback and this seemed to be the best for the point and shoots. She called today to let me know just how awesome it is and she gave it a 5 star.

The camera fits nicely in the hand. most critical buttons and options are a thumb click away. Camera does much. For example, on a recent photo safari, the 30X zoom allow us to capture high res versions of brightly colored birds not possible for others with standard point and clicks or smart phones. (Recommend a monopod for better stability the zoomed in shots.), We were able to capture after sunset images that others could not. Did not like not having SLR capabilities, but the price differential made it easy to adjust to the subtle lack of total control. Highly recommend it for people on a limited budget but with unlimited events, and activities to shoot.

this camera takes really good quality photos, and its light to pack in a backpack if you wanna take pictures on a nature hike.

Excellent camera for night shots, however, for day pictures i think it needs some improvements to highlight colorful landscapes. A little big but it is okay

I bought this camera because my other Nikon COOLPIX camera vanished. There is no delay time when I take the shots....I get the shot I'm looking at. The screen is nice and big....very clear! GREAT CAMERA - highly recommend!!

The shutter speed is so slow the delay. Can't get any action shots. Eats battery's like candy I've owned it for a month and gone threw 2 sets of lithiumAlready . Its great for videos I just expected more from a Nikon.
