Camera body plastics have a cheap feel. My camera never would be recognized by any computer, laptop, tablet, or anything I plugged it into. Also I did not see an option to transfer images from the internal memory to an SD card.For this price I feel there are better options.

Very nice camera, easy to load pictures on my computer. Still learning the features. But it is very easy to use...

It's a great digital camera, amazing design, powerful lens, and user-friendly menus and functions. Taking into account the price of this product, I've got to say I'm very pleased about its quality. In my humble opinion, though I don't know pretty much about cameras, this is for me an amazing semi-pro digital camera. Obviously you can find lots of better cameras, but I think this is a very good and complete one.

I bought this camera for my husband's birthday and he absolutely loves it. The zooming in and out is awesome, he is just amazed about the clarity. He took photos of old pictures to have them in digital form and they turned out really good. This camera is a winner.

So far, I really like this camera. It takes good pics indoors without a flash. & Really good closeups such as flowers & insects. I haven't had time to use the full zoom yet. But I would recomend the camera to others. I've only had for a couple of months & it seems to be what I've been looking for.The only thing I worry about is the last Nikon I had broke on me just after a year.ThanksTina S.

Primarily for the 30X Wide Zoom Lens capability. It takes incredibly sharp photos of objects over 100 feet distance, and magnificent photos of the Moon's surface.

I am very happy with my purchase. I had been looking for a point and shoot camera with long zoom capabilities for a while. I researched numerous products and brand and could not find what I really wanted for the $$$ I was willing to spend. The Nikon cool pix is everything it promises to be. User friendly, great looking, lots of great features and versatile. I recommend it to the occasional, vacation like photographer . It would have gotten a 5th star if it wasn't for the cheap material they used for the body and the inexistent carry case.

The zoom is terrific. Really came into use , on our recent trip to China. Some of the shots came out great. Traveling on some of the buses, shooting from a moving vehicle, shots came out clear and crisp. Simple to use. Did have some issues with the panorama shots but think it was the settings I had on the camera. So simple to use.

this camera takes great pictures but video quality is more clear and of high quality.Love this camera and its optical zoom

Takes a reasonable photo however the build quality of the camera is poor. There are other cameras that are a better buy do your research before purchasing this camera

The Canon A85 is/was a great digital camera for the time and, for as long as I owned it but, when I shopped around for something new,... they didn't have anything within the Price Point or, with the options and accessories I wanted so,... --I had to start looking at alternative manufacturers :-(

It is a good camera....amazing HD pictures. Amazon shipped this amazingly fast and they did a great job! This camera made our event more enjoyable and the pics are great!

The price dropped so I bought it for my wife. She likes it. It seems to be of good quality, and for the money it is a good camera. I still use my Minolta X-700. It takes photos as well. I don't get too excited about much of anything. No sense wasting energy at my age. Buy it, you'll like it.

I love this camera because of simplicity compared to SLR cameras, before I got this i read all the comments and reviews of the costumers. It's true this model is awesome for me. Thanks Amazon for the big help

This camera took good pictures, but it did not meet my needs. It has NO eye view finder which makes action shots and long distance shots difficult. Spend the extra money and get a better camera.

This camera is everything i wanted without spending a lot on equipment for a project I started. I have been taking pictures of just about everything. The instructions were extremely easy.. Highly recommend this

A great camera for the price. Only thing is it eats through batteries, but that can be expected for how much it does. I'd suggest getting rechargeable batteries.

This camera does not connect to the computer and the software must be uninstalled and installed each time pictures are downloaded. Although it takes good pictures when the settings are set correctly the ease of downloading pictures from the camera to the computer through the USB cable is terrible.
