After going through 3 other routers that had constant problems with dropped connections, it's nice to finally have a reliable router. Decent speeds, easy connections that are not constantly dropped, etc. Hooray! The only catch is that if you have a Vizio branded wireless device, like a TV, Blu-Ray player etc., these two brands do not play well together. Perfect, solid, speedy connection everywhere but to a Vizio device, which refuses to connect. So, be aware of that. This router gives a good solid signal throughout the house, and three brands of laptops as well as desktop and smartphones have solid connections.

You might as well burn your money or throw it down the garbage disposal cause it buying this piece of junk is the same thing. This hunk of junk I got when I first moved into my apt cause of its price and and that it was a modem and router saved even more money. Let me tell you had I known what I would have to deal with I would have sooner played and traffic and saved myself the headache. It was fine for the first couple months, not the speed however that's always been a joke. Well after awhile all of a sudden the thing would just cut off on its on or just not allow and device to connect to it. Then it constantly drops connection I cant even remember the last time I haven't been dropped. I actually tested the speed against my mobile hot spot on my fun just for fun and it came out faster than my freaking home internet and I ran the speed test with my laptop wired not even wireless... Take my advice this is one of those things your gonna be grateful someone warned you about. If you even see one of these run..... just run and don't like behind you.

Great price. Just like new. The only downside was that there was no instructions or CD. Read alot on line, saw a couple of utube videos but I was missing a simple step so it took me forver to figure out how to set it up. For the more techy person probably a no brainer. Once I got it it was great! Havent had a problem at all. Enjoying it. Definitely would recommend.

Bought this to replace my dead 2wire gateway. Was planning to change ISP so was looking for something cheap in the mean time.Works fine. QoS function seems to do absolutely nothing.

I bought this product and first of all arrived really fast, faster than expected.I recently signed in with timewarnercable for internet and cable tv, turns out that they give you ONLY cable internet NOT wifi, so that's why I chose to buy this netgear wireless router.I had a little trouble making the connection work but the lady that helped me on the phone from netgear was really nice and helped me with everything. Product is working great, I've had no problems at all with it. It even comes with a guarantee for life which impressed me (the cockiness of the company, i mean)anyways, great product!

I went from the linksys g to this router and noticed a HUGE difference in my internet speed. Pretty nice investement for 30 bucks.

I bought this refurbished and after 3 months and 10 days it started losing connection every 15 to 30 minutes, plus it came with a broken stand. A fix to the problem is restarting it via the power button on the back, but it gets annoying really fast.

My old netgear router had to be rebooted every day or so and was otherwise problematic and finally stopped working altogether. I picked this one in part from reviews and also it was a more powerful router. It arrived quickly, I connected it up the same as the old one, it was really easy to get it started. It's much faster than the old one and I haven't had to reboot at all. I'm completely satisfied.

Been using this router for a while and have had no problems. Setup was a breeze. The security features are easy to setup as is plugging it into your network.

The product arrived quickly and I gave it a weak attemp at hooking it up. It didn't work for me. I called one of my cableguy friends he came over and in about 5 minutes everything was up and running with no problems. It has performed with no problems for a couple of weeks now. No news is good news to me.

My first Netgear wifi router died after several years of good service......probably because of dust. I got this one (the NETGEAR RangeMax WNR1000 Wireless Router) because of my previous good experience and because I liked what I read about it.The browser-based interface could stand some better QA to get rid of minor bugs, but overall I am very happy with it.

After my research I was about to buy the WNDR3700; just at last minute I came across WNDRMac. This model appears to have better features than the WNDR3700, and is similar to the WNDR3800; plus special support for Mac. I have a MBP so I liked it at first look. On Amazon I got it for $85, which is cheaper than 3700 model. All the features that WNDR3700 offer are already part of WNDRMac. Below are the features 3700 doesn't seem to have which are in WNDRMac model. The one I received is WNDRMacV2 which has very similar hardware config as WNDR3800. (As a matter of fact, WNDRMac is much closer to WNDR3800, only missing things are the firmware features like ClearChannel Selector, Tivo compatability etc).Features in WNDRMac which are not in WNDR3700:- Rapidshare USB Printer support- Genie dashboard control- Video Mode- Time Machine compatible- CD-less install (not that it really matters)To my surprise, WNDRMac model nicely worked with an externally powered USB drive! From several reviews and user comments, the 3700/3800 models did not seem to work with a USB drive which was externally powered. It uses Bonjour for the Printers - so connecting printer should not be as difficult as other models (Bonjour can be installed on Windows as well).Overall, I feel WNDRMac has more features than WNDR3700 (much closer to WNDR3800), plus closer to Mac and works well with PCs - with lesser cost than either of those models.I have it for almost 3 days now - no reboots or no issues at all. Works great on both frequencies, automatically detects and configures USB drives. Great product!

I would highly suggest not buying this refurbished product because it only works sometimes. Its very sketchy as to when it will let you connect to the network. This is my second refurbished router and it will definitely be my last!

Perfect no complains it woulds exactly how id expect it to be working. with my computer. The other sales of the usb was for my MAC not my WINdows.
