i got this router to go to "N", its all set up, BUT if the power goes out, you CAN NOT get back to the internet, when you open your browser it brings you to the router thats it, to get it to work i have to reset it to the factory settings, then sign into it again, then restore my saved settings, close browser, then open browser which takes me back to the router,sign back in,click logout and hope it does, if not repeat what was just done. Netgear makes a great router and this one exceeded my expections. I really like the on off switch, a very handy tool.

I use this with Comcast internet to connect other devices wirelessly. I connect my directv box, xbox 360, wii, kindle fire and 2 laptops and it works perfectly. Easy to set up.

Very good router for basic Internet. It doesn't have lightning fast speeds. You will need the gigabit version for that then. Easy set up, and very easy to change to make your own password and network name.

This item arrived on time with Prime, I ordered it for a friend because he was having some internet issues and we hoped this would help. We can't decide if it's actually improving his connection and what not but I believe this is a good product.

I have a regular sized CD/DVD player on my Dell computer so I had to lay the CPU on it's side to use the tiny installation CD that came with this Netgear wireless USB Micro Adapter. I have System 7 installed so getting and installing and upgrading drivers was no problem. After I figured out how to connect to my home network, the little critter worked like a charm and at a fraction of the price of having a wireless chip installed into my PC by the Geek Squad. Now I don't have to have all those wires everywhere and all my Macs and PCs in my home office are connected wirelessly. Yay!

Shoper use usps ship the router. But when I open the box, the cover of the router is broken. I just think it doesn't matter if it works. The first time I use it, it works well. But few days later, sometimes it can't work. The internet is intermittent.

SO FAR I HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH IT AT ALL. MY SET UP WAS EASY AND FOR MY NEEDS IT WORK LIKE EXPECTED

I have two other (older) routers in our business and they transmit much farther than this one. I bought this one to use in our 900 square foot adobe house. It may be that the adobe interferes, but our business is adobe, too, and the signal strength there is much better.I bought this because my research showed it would work with Century Link DSL. They don't want to tell you that, they want you to buy THEIR router, which is way overpriced and doesn't get very good reviews, either.I'd recommend this for the price, if you were using it in an apartment or very small house NOT build with adobe walls.

We bought two N300 routers but both of them had the issue of constantly dropping offline. I had to reset it every 18-20 hours to bring it back to online. I think there must be some defects in this product.

I live in a NYC highrise with cement floors and ceilings. My router is on the other side of the apartment from my son's room. It's hard to pick up a signal in his room and the router can't be moved. I have a Samsung DVD player in that room and could not watch netflix on it. I went through every level of tech support with Samsung and was told that a wifi extender could not be used with that product. I came across this on Amazon, and it works beautifully. We can stream movies with no problem, even with the DVD player hidden away in a closet! Just bought another one for my other son's Xbox.

I paid abt $15 for this ref router. It work great, boot up the signal from 54mps 65mps. No problem setting up,just plug it in and done. No signal drop ever. For the price, it should receive5+++ rating

small, easy to install and fast some times i have to restart it because the wifi doesnt want to work but thats once in a while probably 2 times every 6 months

Overall, the product wasn't too bad. The only drawbacks I had with this seller is that I purchased this item at a new item price and still received a refurbished product. The item did not work with my wireless printer after endless attempts, and the shipping took too long. However, for basic wireless use, it does what it is intended to do.

Works for both pc and MacBook. Just what we needed. Had this for about two or three months, very dependable, no problems at all.

I have yet to configure this router to it's full potential, as it's on my "to do" list. However, I'd recommend this router, and this merchant anytime!

Pretty good router! Would recommend to anyone looking to purchase a cheap, dependable router. Shipped quickly and easy to install and use.

Worked like a charm. No problems after three months of use. Blue blinking LED is somewhat annoying - but does not impact its function any and can be covered with a piece of tape!
