I've had many 360's in the past the slim rocks 250gb tons of usb and it doesn't overheat like my old one plus kinect works amazingly well

Device performs as expected. It's just a hard drive, so what really can you expect of it? Be careful on the price you pay on this item, though. I logged into Amazon a few weeks ago and the price was $104.00. My wife logged in to buy it about a week later, and the price had jumped up to $124.00. She bought it thinking the price had just gone up, but now I log in today and it's back down to $99.00. I feel like Amazon kind of ripped me off (even though I still paid less than the $129 MSRP).A hard drive for the XBOX 360 is a must; the 4GB model just isn't big enough for all you will want to save. I just wish Microsoft made a smaller drive (maybe 100GB) for about half the price.

Firstly I have to give credit to Microsoft for turning out a much quieter console.The Kinect is interesting. I can't fault it for the software uses it will undoubtedly receive; that's on the game developers to use the Kinect correctly. The hardware itself is amazing, almost spooky in its abilities.

well i just got mine in the mail yesterday april 25th 2011 got it in 4 days great time to wait i also got it used, I swear it was new just with out new packaging. its a great price $60 come on there $100 new from Microsoft thats expensive but 60 wow amazing we love you. also it works perfect intalled my games on it works perfect its so quite now and i have new 360 s 4gb now 250gb !!!! 20 stars up!add me on live if your 18+ xeriox01 jk about 18 but ya i am 18 =P

4 stars because>It was a pain the the "@@@@" the shipping and delivery from Amazon. But, the customer support from the same Amazon was great, compensated me with a bonus after all.Back to the product.... The bad thing of this is the overhead of the console. IT is suppose to be overcome. But it is not. The game like "Call of Dudy -World at War-" stop working 2 times.... because the overhead... not red lights yet.... but after puting a vertical fan the temperature of the console drop down and the play was well since it. BUT I WOULD NOT LIKE TO HAVE A FAN NEXT TO THE CCONSOLE.... I HATE IT. THERE IS NOT COOLERS FOR THE XBOX 360 SLIM VERSION, ONLY FOR THE OLDEST, but the matter about the kinect is another thing.Kinect demands plenty space to be played.... but that's the technology to be use to.The instructions tell you that advice, and therefore SHOULD NOT BE A THEME OF COMPLAIN BECAUSE THE PRODUCT TELLS YOU.If not for the sending and overheat.... the rest of the things are ok.

all i want to say is; xbox 360 kinect lives up to it's name and game activities. any kinect game you buy and play the kinect sensor senses where your body is and let you know that it sense where you stand within or out of the range of the game [one or two player mode]. it's really a nice easy and smooth playing game.i was really tickled not using a hand control. very easy friendly setup.NO HAND CONTROL TO USE - [S W E E T!], ALL PHYSICAL BODY MOVEMENT. JUST A WAVE OF THE HAND TO GET STARTED AND THEN YOUR FULL BODY GETS TO MOVE IN PLAYING THE GAME.AS OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN WOULD SING; LETS GET PHYSICAL -- THIS IS REALLY A PHSICAL BODY TRANSFORMING GAME. YOUR BODY DOES IT ALL. W O W! NOW LETS GET PHYSICAL!!!

I was very happy with the quick delivery and the ease of installation. The only shortfall that I found was the lack of info on what I would need to do to upgrade the memory. After reading until I was dizzy I ordered a data trransfer cable for the Xbox thinking I would ned it to complete the transfer and installtion. I foundout that I didn't need the cable nor would it fit onto the 250GB hard drive. Its probaly my own ignorance in trying to decide what was needed to do the upgrade. Other than that very satified with the price and speed of delivery.

the 360 has been tainted with ring of death (gpu overheating) problems. it's about time they updated the hardware. they should have given a discount to all they people like myself that went through 3 or 4 xboxs before the new one launched. but, i guess the consumer pays for microsofts mistakes...while gates and his minions sit back and reap billions. ya gotta love it. it's the american nightmare! way to go billy!!p.s. keep in-sourcing jobs from india mr. gates. us americans don't need jobs, we need more video games so we get so lazy we never want work again. but, i hope the people you import to this country to work for you like to play video games, because us americans are too broke to buy them anymore!

I recently bought the xbox 360/Kinect bundle and it only came with 4GB of memory and if your a gamer like me then you know that 4GB isnt alot at all. You can buy this hard drive in stores for $130 but I didnt want to spend that much. Luckily I came across this one on Amazon for $90 brand new. I would highly recommend getting this hard drive while the price is good. It is very easy to install and you will never have to worry about running out of memory again!

This hard drive was actually purchased for my 15 year old son who is an serious game. He received an xbox 360 for Christmas and has used all of the available memory. He wanted the hard drive so he would not loose important gaming information.The hard drive arrived about a week sooner than we expected. We will definitely purchase from this seller again.

Great system, I really enjoy the Xbox Kinect, it adds a lot of fun for people bored the old fashion games. I think body movement adds another level of fun and is better for the older crowd especially in a party environment. I love the entertainment side, I am just disappointed I have to pay for a live account if I want to access my Netflix? Kind of doesn't make sense to me to access another service I already have to pay for. Other than that the Kinect is fun, I think just a heads up, It requires a pretty substantial amount of room, but its worth it if your looking into working out.

PS3 all the way! I was an Xbox fanboy for the longest time until I went through 3 360's due to RROD and had 4 hardware failures on original Xbox. No more Xbox's for me, sticking with what works my 3 PS3 blu ray 3D game consoles that haven't had a glitch at all including my launch day 60gb which is coming up on 5 years old and gets used frequently. Now that's how it should be Microsoft. The only complaint about the PS3 that I have is how long it takes to download PSN content and updates but other than that PS3 is the way to go.

The new XBOX is awesome what an improvement from the older models, I really think kinect is pushing us into the future of gaming, soon we will have a 100% interactive experience, with great developments like this anything is possible in the future. The only downside is the price for the 250GB system, but its almost a necessity the 4GB bundle just dosent offer enough space, However I actually got mine for basically free all I had to do was sign up for Gamefly, I thought this was a scam but its 100% legit, I did some research and really cant find any negatives about using this method, so before you shell out $400 dollars plus tax check this link out[...]

The hard drive install is very simple once figured out. On the "Left Side" or "Top" if vertical you will pop off the cover and slide the drive in. You will feel the drive click into place. Of course be sure to have the Xbox turned off and unplugged. Once the drive is in turn back on and you are good to go.

Microsoft advertises 250GB hard drive space, but with all the software that is installed on it, it only leaves about 229GB for saving games and progress. Overall, it's a good product. Just make sure... you get what you pay for. Read all reviews and seller notes before you make a purchase. I highly recommend a hard drive for a novice gamer. Boosted the 4GB XBOX 360S to 229GB.

since i had a 4gb xbox my hard was very limited so i would be very skeptical about starting new games. this 250gb was very reasonably priced and it was definitely worth every penny i spent on it. now i can play as many games as i want and even install games into my hd so the games will load faster.

love this new system.I decided to purchase the 4gb with the kinect budle.After doing alot of research on xbox360 hard drives online.I decided to use my older hard drive from my xbox360 Elite.I opened the old HD case from my Elite.Then i placed the hard drive in the 360 Slims bay.It works 100% and shows on xbox live as a Microsoft product.Works perfectly online and offline like it did with my older Elite lol.Last week i found a dummy copy cat hard drive case.That looks just like the new 250gb 360 Slims hard drive case.Today i decided to take out my hard drive from my Slim and place it in this new dummy case.It works better now easy to take out.Anyways for more info check out my review here on Amazon about xbox360 hard drives.The review has links for everything needed.Just search xbox 360 slim 250gb hard drive and find my review.Cheers

I had an orginal 20 GB xbox. I upgraded for the bigger hard drive, kinect, and quieter (and more energy efficient) operation. It's much improved over the original version. The disk drive can be heard at times during gameplay (still quieter than original), but this can be avoided by simply loading the games to the hard drive! Finally, the kinect itself is amazing! It's not perfect tracking, but considering the tech involved, it does a very good job. You have to try it to believe it!

I own both the xbox 360 arcade and the Wii. Individually, they are great and my 6 and 8 year old kids played back and forth on both of them based on their mood. After 3 days of the new console I believe we're finally down to 1 console that does it all. Setup was a breeze except I had to remove my glasses for the Kinect to recognize me during initial calibration (I could play with them on afterwards). The kids love the kinect feature and have been jumping with us "older kids" to the point that my calfs are burning (I can't cheat by sitting down on the couch with a controller anymore). We still have full use of the xbox 360 controller games and stream music for free with last.fm. The updated netflix integration is where it needs to be where I can search, stream (and order) movies straight from the console. No more going to the PC to get a movie in the instant queue.
