I was lucky to find this on sale and use my Amazon store credit to get this at a Sub $90 price. That was the only way I would purchase it. Apart from the price its simple to set up and works well. I see no reason why MS would require users to spend so much on a 250GB SATA HD with some custom security software then again thats MS. Got a 500GB HD in my PS3 for about $50. SMH.

First, this is an official microsoft/xbox product for anyone worried about that.Second, if you're buying this for a 4GB Xbox, DON'T buy a data transfer cable, it's not needed. In 4GB systems, there is an empty slot in the bottom of the console to insert it. Installation is very, very easy; just simply push it into the slot.

I bought this for my daughter for xmas and we all love it.Been playing it since then. I got the Dance Central game and it's great fun. The adventures games are fun as well. We wanted a fighting game so we got Fighting Uncaged. It sucks. It couldn't follow your moves if it was strapped to you hands and feet but u get a good workout trying to make it. You don't even do what you would think you would. If you want to do a squat and sweep your leg under your opponents legs, you just kick your foot out about 2 feet from your body down low. The spinning back kick is almost the same move as this. The Kinect seems to follow the other games better. It records your actions on the camera so don't do anything in front of it you don't want others to see. You know, don't dance naked, etc. I haven't figured out how to stop it from recording yet, but I'm going to if it's possible. I'm glad we made this purchase and can't wait to see what they do next with it. Happy playing!

I bought a 4gb Xbox 360 slim because it is matte rather than glossy. 4gbs was filled up with just my game saves and I needed to have more space. I didnt want to risk getting in trouble for an aftermarket drive, so I decided to go with a microsoft drive. It plops right in and works perfectly. I copied my files to the hard drive, which is really easy to do. Now I have enough space to download my DLC. I highly recommend getting one of these if you have a 4gb xbox 360 slim and need more room. The hard drive is a little bit pricey, but at its current price ($90-95), it ends up being cheaper than the Xbox 360 slim 250gb version.

This HD has just worked me perfectly. Recomend this item if you bought a no HD xbox. I have no problems with this device.

Although I don't think I'll ever need anymore space for my Xbox, this slim hard drive is wonderful! I love the way it "hides" in the new Xbox 360 S models and it is easy to get to and take it if you need to.

Couldn't be happier. Took a while to come from Hong Kong but it was exactly what was advertised and popped right in the console. Definitely saved some money and I easily transferred all my settings from my old console using a USB stick. It's a no brainer. Save money for the exact same piece of equipment.

Ordered this for my little brother and he loves it. I guess that goes without saying though, its not like it was questionable whether the xbox360 was awesome or not. Anyways, it showed up in great condition and was new as promised.

La consola es de f?cil manejo, los controles muy ergon?micos; y lo principal con el kinet los ni?os son muy activos durante los juegos (no permanecen sentados horas frente a la pantalla); por tanto lo recomiendo 199%.

After buying a Kinect as a present for a friend, I played it, loved it, and bought one for myself. I also chose to upgrade from an original XBox 360 to the 250GB XBox 360 S - you just can't have enought 360s. :)I also have a Wii, but the novelty of that wore off pretty fast. I can already tell that the Kinect will hold my interest. The fitness aspect of it is very appealing, since the game tracks your whole body. With the Wii, I tend to sit down and just move my wrist. However, not every type of game should be a motion game. I like that the Kinect is an add-on periphal, so every game won't try to become motion-controlled. Fable III and COD just don't need it.I don't expect to buy a Move for my PS3, so I cannot compare the Kinect to that.The motion tracking works very well. Playing games while holding nothing is just too cool - it really makes you feel like you are in the game, rather than just controlling an avatar.

I've had problems before not using OEM products and that is why I bought this. A'lot cheaper than what I would have gotten it for where I live(Puerto Rico). Almost a month with it now and absolutely no issues to report. It came in it's original box with everything in it. It was just opened box but it had no signs of use. To put it simply, I am very happy with it.

Man.....Oh Man....... It is an ULTIMATE experience. It is not an excitement that anyone would have with a new gadget. It is definitely much more beyond that excitement. It is such awesome gadget.Don't waste money joining a GYM. It would be total waste of money if you join GYM. Instead buy Kinect. The game supplied with the console (Adventures) was more than suffice to have each and every part of your body move. I can confidently say that within a month, you would loose many more pounds of weight. If you don't loose considerable amount of weight, hey, you can always return the console and get your money back within a month right?It is very interesting for the whole family. You won't get bored because you don't need to hold any kind of joysticks in your hand. Bare hands, total body movement and sweat out gallons and drink gallons of water, maintain healthy life, feel happy playing games.My personal experience is that it changed all ages people to kids. The kind of laugh they had when they saw their pictures in different positions was such a different feeling..... awesome, ultimate, excellent... Go for it....

This is a generic hard drive not an official microsoft HDD. Meaning that I can't play xbox games with it.

the game is amazing,i just love it! i had some problems at the beggining becuase i am from europe romania and when i recived the game i plug it and after that the power brick started to have smoke, i realised i brun it,as the electricity in romania is 220V and the game's power brick input is 110V,usa electricity,after lots of efort i found an idea,i took the powerbrick from my old xbox console and put the new xbox cable and with the help of an elecrician is working now,and i am enjoy the incredible kinect game,unfortunatly just adventure,because the game is ntsc not pal and in romania is imposible to find ntsc game, i dont know how i will buy games i think i will keep ordering on amazon but it take long tome to recive the products,but the xbox kinect special edition in not just great in amazing,i recomanded to everybody!

I bought it for the Kinect and XBox exclusives. I can't say it's better than a PS3, but the Kinect does put it over the top. It's a ton of fun, family friendly, user friendly across all the boards.

I got it cheap a few months back. Plenty of space and I like how it's inside the system now. It does raise concerns over heat building on the inside but I haven't had any problems so far, so I'm happy with it.

This is an outstanding product. I could not enjoy my new xbox 360 slim without it. The storage space is enormous and it is a great to install your games onto it so that your disks can last longer. If you have the Xbox 360 slim 4GB model, which i have, i truly recommend buying this Hard Drive. Plus i find that my xbox with this extra storage space winds up being better than the actual 250 GB glossy model. This xbox is jet black with a mat finish, and it is perfect with this new Hard Drive. Pick one up if you have the need for one, and you save a ton on Amazon, so if you start your shopping soon, choose Amazon!

Snapped the little HDD into the Xbox 360S (4GB) and it just worked. Pull up the memory area on the xbox page and the HDD shows up, what could be easier...

i bought it used from a seller and it comes with a little tag saying 250 gigs, 5400 rpm i think, and i think thats why you can not use any memory card for installing games on. Purchased it for about 73, and realized I could have bought a 320 gb hard drive for about 64 dollars.....hot damn.other than thatworks great, great addition to your system even when you want to play firefight on halo reach-onlinesave movies to it, but have to purchase from online storei wish i can have an adapter so i can transfer files from my computer to the hard drive,but ill find a way.Also agree on the little overpriced, but i saved about 50 bucks! im also glad i did not get a off brand one.
