If you are one of the many that bought a 4GB xbox 360 bundle and plan on playing more than a few games (2.7GB left after system data is factory installed onto the internal HDD), you're going to need this product. I originally purchased a 500 GB WD elements drive since it is a much cheaper option but landed up returning it do to:1. 16GB storage cap on USB connected devices (thanks Microsoft).2. Necessary reformatting from NTFS to FAT32, as well as Microsoft downloading excess software on to the drive so it can even be seen by the console.3. Constant performance limitations of USB 2.0 compared to the SATA connection in the drive slot on the bottom of the console.I have had the Xbox 360 S kinect bundle and the 250GB HDD since Christmas and have beaten Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, COD black ops, and now working on Halo Reach (dabbled a little with some kinect games as well) with not a single issue with the piece of hardware. Does the job without a hitch. I realize it is yet another overpriced piece of proprietary hardware from Microsoft but they really got us "by the balls" here if you want to experiment with all capabilities of the system. It is really dependent upon what type of gamer you are but if you want to see what your system can do, I would recommend this purchase.

Great improvement over the original Xbox 360 model.Things you need to know when buying!!!!!GET THE $300 VERSION WITH A HARD DRIVE. It saves money because in the long run you will need the space and buying the $200 model with a hard drive separately is more expensive.IF YOU ARE UPGRADING:I waited until I ran out of disk space on my 20 gig model before I bought one. Hold off as long as possible for inevitable price drops on the xbox360-s.TRANSFERRING DATA: You need a cable that costs around $15 and you really only need to use it once. ONCE YOU TRANSFER THE DATA YOU LOSE IT ALL ON YOUR OLD HARD DRIVE (you wont have 2 sets of data on each hard drive). Then you can sell it because it's not compatible with the xbox360 slim.TRANSFERRING LICENSES: You need to do this to play your content offline, otherwise you need to always be signed into xbox live. Annoying but quick to do. You need to go on a computer and into your xbox account. You can transfer the licenses so you can play your purchases content offline. IMPORTANT: You can only do this once a year!!!!!! AND You only have 30 minutes to go through all of your content. If you don't transfer all of your licenses in 30 minutes you have to wait until next year.My only complaint about the system's design: fingerprints! lol

This product is exactly what I needed, containing the required emulation software in order to play backwards compatible Xbox games on the 360. It was packaged and shipped well, and I am very pleased with this transaction in general. Thanks!

You are getting: a $28 (Kinect Adventure), $20 (Kinect Carnival), $25 (3 Months of Live) and $399.99 (Xbox 360 250gig w/ Kinect) when the xbox is priced by it's self at $299.99 and the kinect is $130.99 this is a great deal for someone with a family or kids.

This is my second xbox 360. My first one has no HDMI, no WIFI, and no large hard drive so this is an upgrade from that. I haven't played the 2 included games yet, too busy with Skyrim at the moment.

Most people don't know that old Xbox 360 drives work on the new Xbox. Look it up on youtube and they show you how. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY PEOPLE

I bought the 4gb Xbox 360 slim and once I got a the free trial to Live, I realized that 4gb wasn't going to cut it. I got the 250gb hard drive so that I would have enough space to download information. I was skeptical at first as to how I was going to be able to install the hard drive. After searching the web, I found a quick video on how to install it. It was extremely easily. All you have to do is unplug the unit, open the side door, push the hard drive in, and close the door. After powering it up, I went to double check that it was installed. I went to the memory settings and it was registered. My only issue with it, is that it comes up as 227gb. I searched the web again and found out that this was common and that Microsoft has other stuff on it. Going from 250gb to 227gb is a big deal. I can't imagine what is taking up so much space, but it is more than enough memory for me for the time being. I know that my 4gb only went down 1gb so I am still wondering what the reasoning is with the new hard drive going down 23gb. I may never know. Look for good deals though and watch for fakes. This hard drive is for the new Xbox 360 slim (mine is black and came with Kinect).

I just received the 250gb hard drive for my Slim today. It came in pristine condition and took less than 30 seconds to open and stick into my Xbox. I immediately had the memory boost upon activating my console. I stuck in my copy of KOTOR2 (Original Xbox) and it worked instantly. I am ecstatic about finally having memory/hard drive capable of gaming appropriately. Ordered from Trilobytez.

This product was amazing. I got it within 3 days and it was so easy to install. It worked exactly as it said it would. It was a birthday present for my daughter to upgrade her 4g xbox slim model. She now has plenty of room to download games and music and she is having a great time with this. I had no problems with this vendor, I have already told my friend to buy this for her son.

After a long wait to purchase a new gaming system since all I have is a wii. I finally bite the hook the day after Kinect came out and bought the 250GB bundle. I was pretty worried that the kinect wouldnt hold water but after a quick 5 minutes of playing with it I became flawless and got used to it. I look forward to more advanced games for the Kinect but so far Im pretty happy with the released titles.The only thing it doesnt do is Bluray but realistically Ive never seen a bluray and have a couple HD tv's and dont feel like I need it that bad to go the PS3 route.If that time ever comes I'll purchase a individual unit but I dont see that happening any time soon.I really leaned towards the Xbox 360 with Kinect due to a few things. The online gaming community(Not free about 50 bucks a year but well setup and has voice chat capablities.), the latest kinect technology has alot more potential and longterm playability then the PS3 or the wii which for the record I own a wii and I havent touched the wii and probably wont anytime soon, and the game selections like Call of Duty Black Ops, Halo Reach, etc.Overall Im really glad I picked the Xbox 360 Kinect Bundle over the PS3 and havent looked back since. Although theres always some that are dead set on a PS3, I think if your not biased for whatever reason like Grand Turismo only on PS3 then you cant go wrong with the Xbox 360 Kinect.

$399, same everyday price as walmart and target for the same items minus the $75 credit. Not really a "Daily Deal" at all. Console is awesome, just not a good sale.

The only reason i gave this review a 5 star rating is because there where no flaws with product nor the shipping. i dont see how you could rate any lower, but moving on to the product itself. The 250gb hard drive is really worth getting if you bought the xbox 360 4gb model and found that that storage just wasn't getting it. i know from personal experience. anyway, the hard drive itself actually serves another purpose than to just upgrade the memory, it also gives your new xbox 360 console the backwards compatibility option, which is good if your like me and have a ton of original xbox games like halo, halo 2, mortal kombat, conker and a whole lot more. but for such a great price, i would recommend this product to anyone who owns plenty of games and needs the memory to play them.So that concludes my review, hope you guys found it informative and helpful.

My wife HATES video games. HATES them. However, she really likes playing Kinect, at least the better games, Dance Central, Kinect Sports and Kinect Adventures. Hard core gamers might not appreciate the fact that it's not as accurate as the PS Move. Because there's no controller its very difficult to "fake" playing these games. It's possible to play Wii while sitting on your couch. That is not an option with Kinect. You have to stand up, move side to side, jump, in order to play the games. That leads to the only negative. It requires a lot of empty space to work. No exceptions. If you have a couch or chair the way, you won't be able to do some of the moves. It says that you can play in as little as 6 feet, but I don't believe it. 8 feet seems like the minimum to me. For two people to play at once you need even more room. The games are a lot of fun to watch, even when you're not playing. And my 85 year old grandma beat everyone playing bowling, she had a blast. It's really fun for the whole family!
