Bought this hard drive from Game Depot, paying the extra money for a "brand new" item. I received my package crushed and looking as if a dog got to it. The box was ripped and the whole case was mangled. Not only that, but it looks as if the accessory was used and/or refurbished. The make sticker was completely out of place and seemed as if it was opened and then forcefully put back together. So far the hard drive is working but for what I payed I did not receive the quality in return at all!

just found the same thing at best buy for 100 less. I'm not very happy. Would have liked to see buyer protection on this.

The drive is super easy to install, pop open the panel on the side and push the drive in, it can only go in one way, then close the panel.I was going to save a couple $ and buy one of unofficial "hacked" drives, yes they are hacked and must be to put the MS code to make them work properly search Google yourself, being sold around but read some things about peoples Xboxs being banned from Xbox Live and that means no updates ever and no online playing of anything, no free demos and all that.If you never plan to connect online, maybe save a little and buy one of the $50 drives around but if you plan to play online a lot and don't want any chance of being banned, and its for the life, pay the extra $40 and get the offical MS drive.Just my thoughts but to me online multiplayer is where a lot of games really shine and to save $30- $40 I would rather not risk losing that.Look thru the list of sellers before buying and ONLY buy from the official "Amazon" seller so you know your getting the official MS drive.

Got it for my kids 3 & 8, it's good but they still prefer wii, the sensor sometimes does not sense movement

I got this with my xbox360 slim halo reach edition after playing for 1 month it fail/break whatever you gonna call it i took the hard drive to every store i know non can repair/fix it connect Microsoft but no reply the console it self work great, now i just don't know what to do are they going to reply or should i buy i new one and no i am not going to buy this no way even if for half the cost.

The 360 has the best games and I've been wanting my own for a while after mostly playing on other's systems. The kinect and the new design were enough to make my jump on board. I really like the new case and the fans seem quieter than the old design. The kinect is fun but I'll admit I haven't yet bought any games other than the adventures it came with.All in all, it is totally worth getting this bundle as it generally saves money over upgrading later, unless you are willing to take a chance on less reputable sellers.I didn't realize at first that the kinect sensor actually moved on it's own. Pretty neat, but it freaked me out the first time I noticed it out of the corner of my eye.

I was about to spend the extra $30.00 to $40.00 to get the exact same thing new, and even at that price it's $30.00 cheaper than buying at a retail store, so I decided to buy it used from a seller I have purchased products before and I am very satisfied. It works perfectly and saved me alot of money, and shipping was fast

This was a very great buy for me, I bought a 4GB xbox 360 Slim a few months ago, and I've been struggling to get the over $100 to get a 250GB hard drive. This was a big break, and I really appreciate the company's quick shipping, and the quality of this hard drive is beyond anything I would have believed. A+++

My husband and I were really excited to order the xbox 360 kinect do to the fact that my husband loves technology and was really wanting to experience voice commands and the selection of movies with your hands. We also bought it for the kinect games. When we received it everything went well until we went to netflix and found out you have to pay to use netflix on the xbox, thats insane. I have a wii and a blueray and we dont pay extra to watch movies on these devices. Then my husband created a user and to change his user name it cost money. Yep it said this time it will be free but next time you will be charged to change his character name!!! You have to pay for everysingle thing. I mean I already pay for the internet connection, then I pay for my netflix monthly, now they want me to pay montly for using my xbox. I can't believe there were no reviews of this problem if I would of known I wouldn't have baught it. As for the game that comes with this my son loves it. Overall my husband and I were very dissapointed, we love our wii!!!

It's hard to be upset about this product because it does exactly what it's designed to do. It offers (about) 250 GBs of free space for your Xbox 360 slim. It's very, very easy to install, and after a formatting worked flawlessly. And for the price, you WON'T find a better deal......and that's part of the problem. For the price of this hard drive, I ordered a 500 GB Western Digital Hard Drive for my PS3. It's just ridiculous of Microsoft to maintain control of hardware storage and force us to buy this over-priced product.Aside from that complaint, this product works, and you shouldn't hesitate to purchase it if you need more space for your 360 (installing games to the hard drive is such a blessing!).

this is something you have to get if you are using the 4G kinect bundle, it worked without issues and installation is simple and easy to access.

Item arrived in great condition,the reason i'm only giving it four stars was because i wished they didn't use so much tape to package itbecause it was hard to open and because the box was crushed a little.Other than that it arrived in great shape thanks to the bubble wrap which protected itand the product worked as plannedhowever i didn't expect the harddrive to be that small.and to not have the full 250gb because the 360 stores some system files on thereother than that i liked that i am now able to play the games i like on it.

My son requested that I buy the hard drive for his Xbox 360 slim so he could play co-op campaign on Halo: Reach. He has been very satisfied with the performance of the hard drive and says that the games have more sound efects and the graphics are better now that he has the 250GB hard drive installed. Overall this has been a worthy investment.

Just a fair warning, this is absolutely a knockoff drive. It will work fine for storage, but if you are planning on using it to play old XBox games on your slim be sure you have the cords to hook it to your computer and properly format the hidden partition (there are plenty of guides online). So, again, this is NOT an official Microsoft drive despite how it is being portrayed in the listing. Good luck!

It came with everything described and was shipped promptly. I might have gotten the Kinect version, but other than that, this has everything in one package.

May be a bit overpriced, but works so much better than the cheaper alternatives. My advice for those of you with a 360 Slim with a 4GB Hard Drive? Bite the bullet/save up your money and buy this product.

This review is for the 120gb drive not the 250gb as is listed here. I was slightly disappointed that this product didn't exactly have 120gb of space. When I plugged it in it actually only had about 108gb. This could possibly be due to compatability software that has been pre-installed on it(not sure). Still it was a great value and had all the space I currently need.

The hard drive is a great buy if you (like me) picked up on one of the 4GB Slim deals that have been available lately. Was able to grab the system with bonus items from Toys R Us, and this hard drive, for under 300 (the cost of the 250GB system).Setup is easy with a transfer cable (or flash drives, if you want to go that route).Use won't allow for the full 250GB of storage space (I think mine was around 230GB available on a brand new drive?) due to Microsoft setup space requirements.But, these are official Microsoft licensed hard drives that are plug-and-play for the Xbox 360 Slims, and works as expected.

I recent upgraded my 4gb console with a new 250 HDD (Microsoft branding)If your really like to play with no issues (more important if you are outside US), its a must have, because with only the 4Gb memory you have a lot of limitations.For example, the games for the old xbox consoles doesn't run unless you have a HDD in your console, and the new games have a lot of extras download available only.The future of games is on the cloud and downloads, so its really important to have enough space and this 250Gb HDD give room enough to download, new games and very cool extra maps.The price is dropped, so its a good time to make the move and get it one!
