With the exception of blu-ray, the Xbox and Live service provide everything I want. Top quality hardcore gaming ad well as party fun games I can share with family when they visit. The Kinect not only provides a wow factor but is entirely usable. I'm looking forward to its integration with Netflix.The whole thing is easy to setup. I gave my parents an Xbox with Kinect for christmas and in no time had them getting down to dance central (I see where I get my moves from) and burning calories with Your Shape: Fitness Evolved.I've recommended it to friends who have purchased when their friends saw it they wanted their own as well.Great product. If you're in doubt, go for it. You won't regret.

I'm in my late 30's and I'm a dedicated gamer, love first person military style shooters, blood and guts video game, etc. I had no intentions of buying the Kinect and jumping around like a fool, normal controller worked just fine for me. But all it took was one demo at a store and I was sold. I should mentioned that my wife and kids were with me, and while they liked what they were seeing, it was me who couldn't get the Kinect out of my mind. Needless to say i bought it later that evening and the following day the entire family gamed for 3 hours. Gaming together has never happened in the 7 years since having my oldest daughter. While I was tired from jumping around, the simple ease of the system made it fun for everyone. Don't think about it, just get it and enjoy it. Just make sure to clear enough room in the house because you do need the space.

I bought this for my new xbox 360 slim version, and it works grea. Installation was easy and fool-proof, and now i'm installing all my games to speed up loading times, and with the 250gb I won't have to worry about deleting things for a long time.

Worth the wait to save myself 30-45 bucks. Highly recommended if you want to save those extra bucks and buy yourself a game with it.

I purchased this from a 3rd party seller (C-Maxwell Goods) that listed it as a new MICROSOFT manufactured and licensed hard drive in its original box. This is not what I received. I got a 3rd party manufactured hard drive in a box that looks very similar to the ACTUAL product I ordered.Had I known this, I never would have bought it. If I wanted a 3rd party HDD, I would have bought one off ebay for half the price.Hopefully this won't get me banned from Xbox live.Update 2/2/11- I tried an orginial Xbox game in it and this hard drive did let me play it, so there's one plus.

This game sucks. My son is 6 and the game can't recognize him. The system sis very bad at recognizing younger kids. They can't play the games without help because of the bad sensor technology.HATE THIS THING

So far really enjoying my Xbox :). It is quiet, operates as expected. The wireless controller works well. The Kinect is actually a heck of a lot of fun to play. I was surprised at the accuracy of it to be completely honest. I had expected it to be far less efficient and effective at tracking you around the screen.Kinect Adventures is a lot of fun for a couple of players at a time (2 players). My wife and I and my friends and I have been having a blast playing it.All in all, highly recommend, well worth a purchase. Also, as a note, the 250 gig harddrive was well worth the investment as I've downloaded 1 or 2 arcade games and a lot of the disc games require some space to play.

Having the Xbox Kinect in my house has been awesome! I love being able to play games without a controller! Some of my favorite kinect games so far are xbox Yourshape and Kinect sports! Definitely worth the money and having the 250 GB vs 4 GB has been great!

I must say i was skeptical at first. I expected lag and that i did not get.I saw and read reviews for an HP pc which did not detect dark skin as someone who is brown skined i expected problems with facial recognition that also i did not get, not only did it detect me 100% of the time it detects all members of my family.As someone who has used dictate software i am aware of how buggy voice software can be. Again not what i expected this thing has accepted commands 100% of the times used.so far it has given me nothing i expected but every thing i wanted. I AM NOT WORTHY i should be flogged.not a gripe but one i expect an answer to. in the adds this boy paused a movie by saying xbox pause. i tried this with Avatar and the mike option was not available.

my kids had the older version (the black xbox elite) so when this one came out i thought....why buy a whole new system when i can just get the kinet! well they got me for a whole new system anyway..lol. they play all day n night if i let them! as for me im HOOKED to the dance central game..lol we LOVE it

From experience, it is better to buy the console that has a good internal hard disk because then one is dedicated to download games and other things and comes the need to place or have to spend on an external hard drive, in my case I had to connect my personal hard drive backup console to validate me as just a mass storage of 15 GB, so it's better to buy the console once with a good hard drive and if you have enough money to buy the Kinect do but beware, should have a wide area to use, for example a room with nothing to interfere.

The 250GB Hard Drive is a life saver and a avid XBL gamer's dream. Typically for if you want to play games off the Hard drive and have alot of DLC. I Recommended it to Everyone with a Slim Xbox

Worldwide Distributors provided a defective product and did not provide satisfactory resolution to my complaint. I ordered an XBOX360, 250GB, with Kinect for my grandson. The "Adventures" disc which came with the XBOX was defective. I asked for a replacement and was told that no replacement would be provided, rather $20 compensation. I don't want $20, I want a disc that works. I cannot replace the disc with $20 or any amount of money. Either you are willing to stand by a product you sell or you aren't. In this case they aren't. What good is an 800 number for Microsoft? Not even $20. Thanks!

I had wanted to play the original Fable on this hard drive, but found out after failing to play and trying/failing to install emulators, that this product differs from hard drives sold at stores in that it is not sectioned/partitioned to play original xbox games. you can play 360 games on the drive, however, and it's plenty of space for that.

Having been gaming since the days of the Atari 2600, the Xbox with the Xbox Kinect are without a doubt the coolest advancement in video games ever. My whole family, from kids to grandparents, are able to play the games and enjoy them, being able to play and watch movies without digging for the remote is awesome and we really like the playing together. Setup was really simple and straight-forward and we were playing games in just a few minutes.We own a Wii, and while it is okay, the level of involvement and engagement just can't compare to the Xbox Kinect. Since there is no remote for Kinect - you never have to worry about whether or not the batteries are charged. More importantly the games are definitely more fun and addictive. Get the Xbox and Kinect - you'll be glad you did.

We hooked this up last night, and within 10 minutes we were all creating our "avatar's" and playing games! It is so fun! When you set up the face recognition, if you get in front of the system, it automatically logs you in. It's amazing! My whole family loved the Xbox, and played it in the basement...but I was never really into it (I'm the Mom :) We hooked this one up on our family room tv and I can't wait for the kids to go to school so I have it all to myself! We have friends with Wii's and although fun, it seemed a bit more for younger crowds. This morning my husband and I were up at 6:30 am drinking our coffee and playing on the Kinnect.....boys were up soon after hearing us :) I ordered the Fitness program and can't wait to get it....it looks awesome!

Shipping was fast, an the only thing is these are not new, an had to go on Youtube to see how to install, but after seeing video was simple an easy, we are of the older generation, so we had no clue~ but it is nice now not to have to worry about running out of space when we add new games to our library. So if you need one of these hard drives buy one...here~

I received this product before I even knew it! By the time I was expecting it in the mail my son had installed it and had been playing with it for a day or more.Never got to see packaging :). Very happy with shipping time. Very happy with function of the product.

this is the best thing ever! But I had to rate it 4 stars because if you move it while a disc is in it the laser will burn through the disc. So be careful with that. The memory is amazing and the graphics will blow you away. The kinect is the future of motion gaming. I highly recommend this for your or your family because the kinect is fun for the family. Enjoy!
