The first X Box Kinect we received would not turn on. Amazon sent a replacement on its way before our return reached them, which we appreciated greatly. The new one worked perfectly.The games require you to be active, but they are so fun you don't realize how much sweating you've done until you pause. We found that 30 minutes of use exercised a lot of muscles in a very enjoyable fashion.The avatars are not always perfectly responsive to your moves, but thay are not enough off to disrupt the games.We are two "mature" adults who are having a great time playing the games together!

The Xbox 360 does more than gaming. I'm able to watch movies from a NAS through the Xbox 360 onto my tely. This is nice. There are additional capabilities that can be utilized. As for a gaming sytem, it's an Xbox 360. No more need be said. It is on par with the PS3 so it really doesn't matter which you get. The kinect is... well kinect. It's future use is limited I believe. The games that come with this version are okay.Now to the downside. Xbox live looks to be a ripoff. I guess you can say cable and satellite tely as well as internet are ripoffs too with which they charge you.

I had my doubts when I bought this, but relied on other reviews. Thank you for the reviews, this product was much more fun than I ever imagined. Tons of enjoyment for family and friends as we gathered over the holiday season. If you try hard enough, you'll find flaws, I don't know that any technology is perfect. But it is remarkably accurate and works very well with all of the games we tried.We haven't played the Adventure game much, but have enjoyed the Carnival game. In particular the version of Skeeball. Good times

I'm really enjoying my Xbox Kinect bundle. I'm not much of a game player but after playing this game at a friend's house I was seriously interested. The price initially gave me pause but now that I've made the purchase I'm glad I did. This game is so much fun, for kids and adults. Also, it can be a heck of a work out, if that's what you're looking for. I played the carnival game the other night (I think the specific games was knock-out or something) and I'm sore (in a good way of course) Anyway if you're thinking about getting this game, I think you should go for it.

i got this for my son's birthday he loves it. my older son already has one but they fight over it so i thought i would get another one for my younger son and that would stop the fighting and i was right it did. so now we have two of these xbox 360 in the home. my kids love them they say they are faster than the older ones. and this one has a lot of memory so they can install their games on them and the games load even faster. the wifi is great in it we just love it

We love our new Xbox. The kids have enjoyed the Kinect Adventure game, they really get some good exercise playing this game. We have been watching movies on our Xbox and we can control the movie by talking to the Xbox. I have had a blast playing with me kids and on the cold days we finally have something fun to do but that get's up some exercise. I also really appreciate the fact then when I bought this Amazon gave me a $75.00 credit, I was able to order something for my husband. LOVE AMAZON. You made our Christmas.Can't wait to get more games.

I purchased this bundle for my kids for Christmas. I am overjoyed by the system and the bundle pack. I bought an extra wireless controller in addition. Overall I feel this bundle was the way to go. I got the 250GB hard drive because I wanted to be able to download games. The built in Wi-Fi and Connect makes this particular console superior to previous releases of XBOX 360. By the time you pay $100 for the connect and $100 for the Wi-Fi adapter you could have just bought the bundle. I highly recommend this console. The connect is amazingly fun for the whole family of all ages.

I just got the Xbox 360 Bundle today and tried it out--and it works great! Now, I haven played on a 360 in almost 2 years now, and when I did; it was the larger and white version of it--and it died often from being overheated. But this one right here, it's so quiet compared to that old one and I was surprised by the on/off button and open tray button and how you would need just to lightly touch it in order to be activated.There are really no cons here, Maybe I'm a little upset that it didn't have an extra controller with it, but that's no big deal. Anyway, this is a great product and I HOPE that it will not give me the red ring of death anytime soon--or ever would be better.

Looks like the negative reviews posted about the price of this hard drive were posted long ago when this 250GB hard drive was much more expensive. At today's prices I personally don't consider $80 for 250GB of storage to be all that expensive. I've seen DIY videos on how to fool your system into thinking an aftermarket/generic hard drive is a certified Microsoft drive, but frankly I value my time too much to be messing around for hours trying to reimage a drive. This is truly a 30 second drop-in upgrade for your system. I highly recommend for all of you who, like me, purchased the 4GB Xbox 360S.

At first, I was picky at choosing this console over the PS3, but now I'm glad that I chose the Xbox 360 over the PS3. It is a console that has endless funs, mostly with the Kinect. The 250 GB was also a great deal, I wasn't sure about getting 250 GB over the 4 GB, due to paying $100 more. But now I'm happy with the results of getting the 250 GB over the 4 GB, I didn't know that some of the games, demos, videos, etc took as much as 1 GB or more! Also the Kinect is much better than the PS3 Move, so cool and fun that you don't need a controller, it's you. This was a great deal, an Xbox 360 250 GB w/ Kinect and 1 month free of Xbox Gold Live. I recommend this product for anyone looking for a great gaming system that they want to have fun with, hardcore gamer or an average gamer, either way, this game console is the best!Pros:Kinect-Tons of Fun Xbox 360 250 GB-Tons of space for downloading games, movies, demos, etc Kinect Adventure-A great game for the family to enjoy Xbox 360-New slim design, quicker, and faster than ever before! This xBox bundle is a great value, comes with everything needed to get into the Kinect adventure. Had a problem with the order but goHastings customer service was exemplary in their handling of all aspects of my interaction with them, and immediately acknowledged the situation, provided numerous avenues for me to be satisfied with my purchase, and then shipped (they paid all shipping and handling costs) the missing item via US First Class Post. Was up and running within three days of initial contact. Great Customer Service. Thanks

This is a must have for any videogame enthusiast. Xbox's new Windows Metro interface turns xbox into a media center. It is no longer a video game system. It is far and beyond playstation 3. You must check out hulu plus, its interface is much better than the internet interface.

We bought one for our grandchildren, played several Kinnect game with them, then decided to buy one for ourselves as a supplimental form of exercise. The console is easy to set up, works well with games we have tried and it is fun and entertaining. Plus I get to play my favorite xBox360 adventure games. Much better than Wii and a lot more interactive.

I purchased this online for $99 which is fairly marginal. Microsoft wants too much for this puppy. It's extortion I tell you. You can't play HD games unless you buy one and if you buy the flash drive version of the XBOX, you have to pay more for the hard drive. $138? That's bull. And the go price is $299 for 4GB XBOX and $399 for 250GB XBOX ($100 difference)? That's outrageous.

The Kinect is just an awful, horrible product. Slow, inaccurate, downright non-functional most of the time. Voice commands are also about 10% accurate. I would recommend saving your money and buy anything else. Anything. Else.Just to be fair, I hate all motion gaming for the same reasons, but my experience with the Wii was actually a bit better than the Kinect, but both were slow and inaccurate generally.

Recieved my shipment before the estimated delivery date that was a MAJOR PLUS!!!!!!. hooked it up and was online in no time. Kinect is AMAZING!!!!!! My kids are loving it and the wife we have kinect parties!!!! Xbox is the best ever!!!! online is the best i ever seen came with everything lisited great bundle. Amazon is the best

The Kinect system is easy to set up and fun to program with all the great features.. I had no idea it was going to be as fun as it turned out to be... I am deep breathing and feeling the fun in my old bones and muscles and loving every minute of it! Have had friends my age join in and they too are now hooked on the fun. I think the creators should do more to sell this to seniors! We aren't dead YET and at least we will be having fun if we drop dead while having a good workout.

This holiday bundle is a pretty good deal, you get 2 games included plus 3 months of Xbox live gold membership included, for the same price as the Xbox 250GB Slim console alone. I was really enjoying it for my first day and a half. Playing online was really fun, my favorite games were FIFA 12 and MW3. However, on my second day of ownership, it stopped working. The disk drive was stuck shut and couldn't read the games. I had to contact Xbox Customer Support, and I'll have to send it to them and wait several weeks to get it repaired. Really disappointing.

I should have done this long ago, this is absolutely the ideal add on to your Xbox 360 console. No more worrying about weather or not I have enough space on the internal and/or the flash drive I happened to have around. Works the way its supposed to, doesn't blink, sweat, just keeps plugging along. Can't compare it to any thing else..well I guess there is the old 60 gig I had for my old Xbox 360, back when they first came out, went through 2 of those consoles, it wasn't bad..but this new one..holy smokin donuts as a friend of mine says. Great product, great price, knocked off over a third the cost of getting one at my local gamestop. Get one, they're cheap enough..hell get 2, thats how cheap they are, can't go wrong, its not the knock off, its genuine made for Xbox by Xbox or who ever the hell makes them..is it Microsoft, well then its Microsoft..just get one.

Received items not in original packaging but in excellent condition, besides a few fingerprints. However only Fable 3 was included in the box with no redemption codes for either Halo reach or 3 month gold subscription, disappointing to say the least. But upon contacting Customer Service, all missing items were compensated for quickly (same day) and with no real hassle. Reaffirming why Amazon is the preferred method to make all purchases new or used.
