My 11 year old son saved and saved to buy the Xbox 360. He decided to go all out and get the 250GB and the kinect with it. When it arrived in August he and his friend were so excited! We set it up and they played the games they had. Then by November he had saved up for the Xbox gold live card so he could play online with his friends since the weather was colder. All was going great until the second week of December when the 4 month old XBOX 360 stopped reading discs. We bought an expensive cleaning disc made especially for xbox. It read discs again for a few minutes and then couldn't read discs again. We went through everything on the trouble shooting guide and concluded we had to send it in to be repaired. Apparently this happens quite often. What's worse is that even though it is under warranty you pay to send it back, it takes up to a month, and then they often send you an older refurbished model to replace the brand new one you have. For almost $400 you would think microsoft would treat their customers better than this!

This is awsome! I was kind of contemplating between Kinect and Wii. My friends have Wii and I played many times, it was fun as well but later on they got boring. We don't move anymore just move your wrist with the remote. With Kinect you really have to move to play:-). My 4 yr old loves the river raft game. Many reviewers said that Wii was fun for kids and I am not sure about it. My 4 yr old never liked it as she hates holding the remote and nunchk.

Bought my daughter a X Box Kinect from Wallmart.. (got a great deal)..Then came home and just for fun looked it up on Amazon, same price butgot an extra free Game worth $45.00. so i ordered it it came in 2 days and sure enoughthe exact same product with an extra game..Returned the Walmart X Box Kinect.. Wont make that mistake again..1st check Amazon..Now looking for a new Golf Driver.

Yes, the price seems a bit on the high side and perhaps if you waited until the holidays you might find a better deal somewhere. However, I am very happy with the purchase. I would definitely buy again...perhaps as a gift for a family member.

Being a first time Xbox owner, I want to say that this is a great buy. I was about to buy a Xbox 250gb without any extras for the same price. You get two games valued at at least $25 each plus a three month Xbox live card again valued at $25. So you're basically paying $225 for the Xbox itself. I was able to receive $50 Amazon credit with my purchase which is another awesome thing. Also, no tax in California? I mean c'mon, great deal.The games, Halo reach is a download which took about an hour but it is almost 7gbs. From what I've played so far it's pretty fun. Pretty easy to get into without knowing any background information. Fable III, I love how cinematic this game is. Love the graphics and love how your actions shape your world. Also came with DLC which I thought was pretty neat.Now, the Xbox itself IS matte black which I rather prefer to the shiny black which can get real messy with fingerprints. I leave it on its side on a raised platform to keep it from overheating which i hear can occur often but finding something to leave it on wasn't really a problem. Wifi built in which is awesome.This is my first review on anything, so if my structuring is wrong or off I'm sorry xD

It took awhile to decide which game system to purchase but I decided on this xbox because of its online capabilities and the kinect addition. Its a little involved to get it all connected, especially if you're not wi-fi capable like I was but now that its all up and running, I'm very impressed. The kinect part is really impressive. Be prepared to get up off your a-- and move. That's the part I really needed!

1st off i didnt buy this console off amazon i bought it from GameStopIm a gamer.. i play PS3 and have for 7 or so years.. i play Call of duty,battlefield things like this..Ive had a wii.. i had a 360 3 years ago and ended up trading it in..This kinect and Dance Central is the most fun ive had it a while.Sure there's games out for the wii and ps3 that are similar but until you play dance central.. you cant compare! The wii i always had issues finding where my mote was on the screen.. ps3 move it has issues following your dancing because it only follows your wand(s) Kinect is your whole body EXCECPT your fingers so no hardcore gaming here..I dont have a lot of people over often but itll be amazing when i do.You ARE the controller and thats so cool. Very futuristic.Dont even try to compared this to Wii or PS3. Im no fan boy but for motion gaming this IS the way to go!! young kids,party people,casual easy games this is your system!!i really wasnt impressed with the Wii.. this is awesome!

Overall this holiday value pack was an awesome deal! I didn't feel like spending $300 on just an Xbox and controller, so instead I found this deal where it came with 3 months of live, a head set, two games and a controller. I've had this Xbox for about a month now and it has performed outstandingly. I would highly recommend this product.

Being a videoholic in my younger years, I haven't played much over the last few years. But after my son bought one and talked me into getting one, I must say that the xbox360 is a blast to play and can be very addictive!

The product came quickly and as listed. I'm very satisfied with finally being able to play with HDMI in 1080p. Battlefield 3 runs smoother, faster, and looks better on this new slim Xbox opposed to the older hardware in the original Xbox 360's. So all games run a little better than they do on the older generation consoles. The 250 GB is actually 230 GB even the first time you turn the console on. I'm not sure what they do with that 20 Gb, where are the 20 GB? Guess I'll never know?

I am incredibly happy with my order the thing works great and i personally think this was the best deal ive ever gotten on amazon.com. I believe i am very lucky because i happened to oreder this the very day before it shot up $50 whole dollars. I mean i really actually spent $225 because of the $25 giftcard included for a 250gb model, 2 games, a headset, and controller (which i wish included 2) for only $30 more than the plain 4gb model. I got a steal. Im not gonna give the pros and cons u can read the other peoples reveiws. I just wanted to brag about how i got the awesome deal just in time. To bad for u suckers who waited and didnt order in time. HAHAHA!well i guess its still kind of a good deal...

Just received a xbox 360 kinect and its looks good and for used like new are wery OK, but when I opened the box, there was not inside headset complete:((I ordered that xbox for use in Europe, and in item description was not mentioned about 110v use only for that item, but now I ordered new power transformer.I hope its will works:)

i purchased this item on 29/03/2012 i was waiting with excitement this product, but when it came, i start to install my games and played halo reach nice game, but guess what when it start to happen an error with disc tray, start to open and close alone, and it doesn't read the discs any, even when i turned off it does this.. da##!?.. so what is my suprised this is a common error in this type of consoles.. nice microsoft, so know i'm in another country so i have to see how i cansend this to USA, to aplied the warranty of the product..

There are a number of reviews on here so I will focus on my experience and hope it helps. Given my families love of the 360 I would consider myself biased as I lean hard toward Microsoft. What makes this product worth the purchase? The major difference with this Bundle is the built in wireless connection..You get the 250gb Xbox slim (very cool looking and more quiet than any other model I've owned)I've had the original 40gb model, the elite 120 gb and now this one. At present I have the Elite and this bundle working in seperate rooms.Having bought all of the attachments and additions in the prior models I thought this might show the value you get here as this is easily the best choice BY FAR!!!A huge hard drive on a newer model that runs more quietly... Oh yeah, you get kinect as well. So Kinect 150.00, internal wireless connection 50-90.00, the 250 gb system (say 300.00 retail) You save over 100 bucks going this direction. Also it's really nice having the Wireless connection permanently housed in the system (no attachment). The kinect requires less wires with this model as well so that is also a nice bonus (the kinect will attach in the back of the system and not in the front). (more ability to add attachments) Also, and not really a major bonus but... You get a free month on Live as well as opportunities to pay at a large discount for more months on live (though you get this with any system) The games are awesome... Kinect is revolutionary and awesome. Online community is wonderful if you discount the 10 year olds that clearly need parental supervision of some kind.Negatives...-have to pay for xbox live monthly (find the cheapest route on this (it's out there))-need another controller for mutliplayer-not enough time to game as we all have lives we have to live..! That's the only major problem with so many great options out there.For the record I own a PS3, Wii and 2- 360 systems. Xbox is my choice after years on all of them. I like the games better and primarily use the PS3 as a blue ray player or for exclusive titles. Just my preference but this system is a great way to buy all you need in one box! I also believe that Kinect games are more family friendly and make it a more family oriented experience (given the 360's more adult game selection than that of say the WII...In short.. I love it.. buy it!

We got the X Box 360 250GB with Kinect and included Adventures Game and then also separately got Dance Central and Your Shape Fitness Evolved.I'm certainly not a techie, but set up was simple for me. The Kinect sensor sits on top of our Dish Network DVR and it actually recognizes you when you stand in front of it and I am really enjoying not having to hold something in my hand to play. Now to be fair, I had only played wii at a friend's house 3 times, but being the controller is super cool. On the x-box console, it can sit on its side or lay flat, your choice.Kinect REALLY sees you and if you're not moving a part of your body the right way, the game sensor knows it and says so. I did order the Create game just now because it will let you actually sit down and use the controller for when I want to be lazy and relax. There's no playing Kinect unless you're up, active and moving. If you get too close to the camera it will tell you to back up or if you get too far away to get back into the right area. Really funny when the dogs walk into view, it sees them too and I have to keep them out of the room when we're playing.On the Your Shape Fitness Evolved exercise game, it tells you to lunge lower or step further apart if you're not mimicking the instructor closely enough. And I like it that it is encouraging when you don't do so great.Kinect is NOT for couch potatoes, and that is why I got it. I am very easily drawn to just sitting and watching tv sometimes. This forces you ( if you want to play it) to get up and jump and move around. The game that came with mine, "Adventures" has anything from white water rafting (lots of jumping and leaning to steer the raft), a sort of Greek Dodgeball game (sounds just like a real ball and fun to hit it back and forth) and a game where you're plugging leaks like the little Dutch Boy except you're in an underwater elevator thingie ( lots of arm and hands in this one). Amazing to see how it reacts to your movements and tells you tips to improve. We were all a bit sore on day two, especially after doing so many dance offs.Couple of good-to-know tidbits: make sure you have lots of room to play, we have hit the ceiling fan numerous times & now and have one slightly sprained ankle to show for not paying enough attention to being more out of shape than previously thought.

this product was purchase as a gift for a friend who went from an orginal xbox to a wireless out of the box xbox 360. words can do little to describe the dramatic improvement from game quality, to wireless connectivity which is a big plus, to wireless controller(only 1 included in bundle), a good looking system next to a black 26" monitor. online game play is a wonderful exprience.pros.built in wireless, easy connect to exsisting wireless modemquiet system250GB hdriveincluded game and game codefree three months online gameplay.out of the box support for kinectconsmaybe not much of a con,depends on where you live(game code for halo is not supported in my region of the world)only one controller

Delivery beat the projected arrival date by a wide margin. I think it arrived in two days on Free Super Saver shipping.The boys can't be peeled away from it. They upgraded from a PS/2 that had stopped playing our PS/1 games and was getting cranky about most of our PS/2 games. So I'm not sure their happiness means much to gamers who already use technology from this century.Anyway, this was new in a sealed unopened box, and it was a few bucks less than retail. Halo Reach download was successful with the code in the box. I don't think they have taken the shrink wrap off the other game...

I like XBOX 360 very much and daughter enjoys it. But I didn't like customer service. There was promotional offer for one game free on Xbox 360 order which I haven't got. I called customer care and they were not able to find promotional offer was there or not. Customer support respective told me that they will get back to me on email. Despite of calling two time I haven't got any email or any response to my request and haven't got promotional offer which was valid when I have ordered my item. They don't even have track of which promotion is going on which item and it's history. I am not returning item only because of I liked it else I would have returned it immediately.

The Xbox 360 beats the Ps3 again. The only problem i had with it is that i didn't buy a hard drive transfer cable so i couldn't have everything i had on my old xbox 360. First lets start with the huge hard drive. Some advice that i have is you should install all the games you play regularly. This is important because the games will play a lot faster and will almost never freeze which always bugs me. The 250gb hard drive will always help you. Second the Kinect, listen to me ok if you got this only for kinect, its kinda a waste because although may seem cute at first kinect will really tire you and bore you out i got this xbox about a week ago and i only played kinect the first day i got it and haven't played it since. I just dont find it very entertaining. I use it for the dashboard voice command feature, but that's really it. I mean unless your gonna buy a lot of kinect games i wouldn't get this for kinect.I still give this 5/5 stars, but would've rather got 250gb normal w/o kinect.

I must admit I am new at this, and the system I bought has Kinect. The set up is horrendous and after several attempst within the last 2 days it is still a no go. Forget my college degree, I will wait for my 9 year old grandaughter to see if she can get either the game console or the Kinect to work. But as of right now my suggestion would be to try a PS3. I'm ready to take my unit back to the store.The Kinect would not function and the third XBox customer service rep told me to pull the wire off the back of the XBox in order to turn it off. That's how sophisticated this unit is, there is no on/off button for Kinect although the first cust serv rep insisted that there was one on top of the unit. I don't think he has ever seen one up close.The instructions for this game are basically what comes on the screen and that is no big help to someone new at this like me. The tiny printed quick set up does not tell you much. Usually when I purchase anything the instructions are very clear and the item works, not with the XBox
