My collage student (daugher) requested a video game console for Christmas. Not knowing much about the newer consoles, we chose to get her the Xbox 360 w/Kinect and it turned out to be a great choice. In fact, we had so much fun playing it with her before she returned to school, we are thinking about getting one for ourselves.Amazon got it to us quickly and in great shape.

Even though I've bought many X-Boxs and games through Amazon with absolutely no problems, I was very disappointed this time to find out that this system had some issues. However, Amazon was very responsive and immediately offered an agreeable solution. All is well now.

We have, for the last 2 1/2 years, been a Wii family. We were happy with the Wii. We were, that is, until we played a few Kinect games at our holiday hosts' home on Christmas day. My husband, son and I were so blown away by what we were able to do on their Xbox that we immediately hopped online and purchased this bundle, an extra controller and three additional games. Our purchase was waiting on our doorstep when we returned from our holiday travels.The Kinect was really the deciding factor in our impulse buy. We played Kinect Adventures, Kinect Sports, Motion Sports & Dance Central at our friends' home. We had so much fun, with the added benefit of sweating and working muscles we hadn't used in quite some time. The sensor and what you are able to do without a remote or controller is really amazing. The sensor isn't 100% accurate, but it's as good as it could be. For me, the important aspect of this gaming system is it brings our family together for fun.The great thing we have learned since we got the system, though, is that it brings us together with more than just our family. With the XBox Live Gold Membership (we're using the free 1-month trial at the moment), we can connect with our holiday hosts, who live across the country. We've competed against them in Kinect and non-Kinect games. As I write this review, we are watching a movie together over Netflix. We are even thinking about purchasing the XBox Live Gold Family Membership.We have thoroughly enjoyed the last few days with our new console and look forward to learning more about its features in the coming months. This is one impulse buy I can't imagine regretting!

this would certainly be a great value even if it did not come with the games. 250 gig console with 3 mon of live for $300 minus the $100 cyber monday credit i got. I love everything the console can do, from playing battlefield 3 to watching movies like iron man 2 and amc's the walking dead. If you want a console at a good value, look no further than this xbox 360 holiday value bundle.

I really enjoyed how quickly I received everything..but the information included that I have 2 games and in reality I only received the adventure game. The Carnival game they said was included was not included. help?Anne

this was my husbands b-day present-we both love it :) especially him, its fun, user friendly (once you get used to it) and entertaining. He loves the x-box and I love the kinect.

great. play daily. 360 is my choice. have playstation3 not the same. love the auto shutoff. with 4kids amust. have a old one still. love the slim. I did get 250GB ,runs fast. wireless amust. barely have to touch buttons on system ,and it works like a gem I have it only 2 months. so far know trouble , unlike the older model that broke down alot. hope this one will be different. good luck on your choice. Im happy.

This is great device, not only for gaming, but as a home entertainment hub. not only does it give you access to a world of great games and titles, but dominates the living room with video and audio entertainment needs.with the latest dashboard update, and all the new apps that are on the platform, and the best online service and community out there. this is really the best console to buy

I recieved the xbox 360 used,mit took about 30 days and I was supposed to get three months of gold, halo reach and fable three.I recieved the xbow late but it works fantastic.instead of three months of gold I got 48 hours and fable three, no halo reach.

This Xbox bundle was such a great buy! The game system itself works well and my 10 year old son loves it. I don't have much of an issue with him playing the Halo game because its "aliens", but the other bundled game seemed a bit mature for him. It would have been better if we could have chosen what other game to download.All in all, he's thrilled with the gaming system.

I was really excited about my 250GB XBox. I tested all my games and everything worked, but one game: Halo Reach. There was no warning saying that I could not download it outside USA! Very sad. Now I allways read the message "This item can't be download from your current location". I'm still trying to contact Microsoft, Amazon and God. But I'm still waiting for a hand :(

This Xbox 360 Bundle is a great deal, complete with an Xbox 360 console with 250GB of memory, one wireless controller, two good games, a three month subscription to Xbox Live Gold, and a headset. I have no complaints and have thoroughly enjoyed playing a ton of Halo Reach since buying this pack.

If your going to buy an Xbox 360 this is the bundle to buy. This is the best of both worlds, family and party friendly kinect, plenty of hard drive space for all your games, and the new quiet, smaller, wifi-included xbox. The old problems of the 360 have been fixed with the new model, you now have built in wifi, a quieter optical drive, and most importantly a reliable system. The additional hard drive space on this bundle allows you to install your disc based games (an completely optional task that can improve loading times, and allow it to run quieter while playing) and plenty of room for all the demos, arcade games, music and movies you need. The included wifi on the system is wireless N which should make for a better experince streaming videos and movies if you hook it up wirelessly. Lastly Kinect is an extremely fun and unique way to interact with your game system. Kinect Adventures is a great demo for this, and is a very easy to play party game that is incredibly fun and unique. You can't help but smile as you play the game and see some of the clever things it does.Kinect does have a few issues. First of all you need about 6 to 7 feet of free space from your kinect camera, since its registering your whole body it needs some room. The system isn't a big fan of low light, you will have trouble playing at night if all you use is the TV to light your room. It does still work, just not as well as when it has enough light. Also the controls aren't perfect, its not 100% accurate. This is not a problem in kinect adventures, or the demo games I played, or the using the control scheme, and it never bugged me or my wife at all but I have heard other people complain about it.Overall its a great deal, if you are getting an Xbox you should be getting a kinect anyway. Why not save 50 bucks in the process.

Bought this unit for my son for Christmas 2011. WOW, what a machine. PS3 move over, there's a new game town.Easy but time consuming to set everything up for the first time, but well worth it.Oh, be sure you have plenty of "play space" in the room you choose to use it so you can to take advantage everything this gaming console has to offer.And be ready to have tons of fun.

i like xbox holiday bundle deal.The only thing i don't like is the canival game is the game you have to go online and redeem . I used wireless . I redeem it , it say download is pending. I waited. ok few minute later it said can not download, i went back type the code again and it said invalid. so look like i lost 1 game. i like the disc better. less complicated.

when you get a bit older, you forget that you buy one, so you buy another cause you wanted one. then two come and think - oh oh another Senior moment.So, grandson wanted me to give him one cause I now have two. So, guess who is getting a 250 gb hard drive for Christmas this year?Gramma told me that he's also getting online and a 12 month online card too.Spoil kids!Can't complain, both G-kids have a GPA over 3.85 and still find time for video games besides all the reading they do. I think now, maybe I was the spoiled kid who didn't have all this stuff and all I got was motorcycles and go-karts and a bb gun and.....

I've resisted buying an xbox kinect because it seemed odd to me to buy a game system to play games inside the house you traditionally played outside. Finally took the plunge and I must admit it's been super fun. Seeing the replay afterwards is the biggest kick. We're spending more family time together as well. A great purchase for us.

This is an awesome machine and a grate bundle, I got the holiday bundle the first year that the kinect came out and had to buy the kinect separate... Got this bundle for my son and daughter for there mothers house that way we can skype and play games together... the only difference between the two is that mine is glossy black and theres is a flat black...

I bought a 4GB Xbox Slim knowing that i could come to amazon and find a deal on a Hard Drive. After finding this one and ordering it i was very excited to receive it since i paid for the expedited shipping.First disappointment: It took the package a whole week to get to my house, and found out that it was shipped from a warehouse 10 miles away from my home.Second disappointment: The second I put this hard drive in my Xbox it slowed it down, and after i transferred all of the data from my old hard drive, half of my files were corrupt.Third disappointment: Two days after playing on the Hard drive i got an E68 error, indicating Hard Drive failure, hence, losing ALL of my data including 100's of dollars of map packs and GH and RB songs.If it was my recommendation I would go to walmart and pay full price. I feel like i received a refurbished hard drive. Who knows who is selling these and packaging them in some make shift Microsoft packaging. What is this world coming to??

The kinect is very fun and gives you excercise while playing instead of just sitting on your behind and just using your fingers. The kinect takes photos of you while you are in weird positions while jumping and moving around playing the game and shows them with funny captions after every round you play.

i was dissapointed to find out that it didnt have the halo reach thing it said it would come with, that was the sole reason why i bought (fable 3 was just an extra and my old xbox was really old but still worked decently)
