Ever since purchasing the XBox 360 with Kinect, I'd been kicking myself for not spending the extra $100 to get the larger hard drive. With the price of games, I like to download demos whenever possible to try the game out before plunking down $50 or $60. Between the demos, Live Arcade games, game save files, and avatar files, it didn't take long to max out the 4gb onboard memory. Now, with the 250gb hard drive added, we have more than enough room. We've been able to try 3 new demos and add fun games like Fruit Ninja (highly recommend that one!).Installation was a breeze. The system recognized the drive immediately.The only drawback - that's really too strong a word - minor inconvenience is that we often have to take the extra step to select which hard drive to save to. I don't know, but I imagine if we had purchased the system with the extra storage pre-installed, we may have not had to worry about that.

There's so much this thing can do.... I am very happy we didn get the 4gb or we would have quickly filled it up with movies and dowloadable games. It comes with 1 controller and since nit all games use the kinnect sensor you may want to buy more controllers. My 8 year old daughter loves the kinnect games but my 10 yo son loves the NCAA game that uses the controller. The two ames that cone with r fun! The adventures game is a disc, the carnival fam is a download code. You also get 3 month gold live with this bundle.

Good day, on January 24th edition buy: 250GB Holiday Bundle, all excellent and arrived earlier than expected, but my PROBLEM is I'm from Venezuela and play HALO REACH to redeem when downloading tells me NOT I can do for my REGION and I really wish I had this RESPONSE, since that game due one of the reasons that led me to make the purchase of this edition in promotion. I APPRECIATE YOUR RESPONSE.

Xbox is great plenty of space, halo reach is amazaing, fable3 is a waste. Good deal overall though. Sell fable 3 if possible though.

Nice Entertainment and Warm up for the body.Pros: Nice games, Interactive features, User Friendly, Entertaining.Cons: Locks certain features like Netflix and others to force you to sign-up for Membership.

I purchased this as a Christmas present for my 2 boys.The bundle offered from this seller was the same "Door Buster"that proliferated retail stores on black friday. I found that I could stillobtain the bundle at the retail stores but not at the door buster pricing.I was able to get the bundle I wanted; pay to have it shipped to my home; and stillsave money over going to a chain store. I will purchase again from this seller no question. The product arrived sooner than expected and it was exactly as described.

The item arrived at the right time and it works just fine but the Halo Reach download code does not work outside the US apparently so I am left with only one game. It would've been nice for someone to let me know about this... Allgo good but a little disappointed.

I bought this for the Xbox 360 Slim so I could play co-op on 360 games that need a "real" hard drive, and play original Xbox games. It works great! No complaints after one month. It is legitimate Microsoft, sealed. For those who bought the Xbox 360 Slim, the 4GB internal memory is just not enough, especially when games like Battlefield 3 have you download a 2GB update. I looked at cheaper knock-offs and the reviews scared me away. Pay the extra $$$ and get the legitimate Microsoft product.

Xbox 360 250GB Holiday Value BundleI tired to find out what this bundle included with no success. My question was, did this package include a controller? These are not cheap but nowhere was I able to get an answer to this simple question. WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE BOX?I ordered an extra controller so my son would be able to use it right away. We were both surprised that a controller WASincluded in the box! Why was this information not available on the box or in the product description? Al Kranz

We got the 4gb XBOX kinect and quickly ran out of memory. It is a bit pricey, but I was'nt going to try to format a different brand. And of course you dont get a true 250gb because of some things preloaded on there, but I needed it so what else was there to do. As far as installing it pops right in takes maybe 90 seconds tops.

I had the old version of Xbox 360 Core Bun Holiday 06 for the last 4 years and the new one far surpasses it! I highly suggest it to anyone. The motion sensor tray opener and On/Off capability is far better on the wear and tear as you no longer have to touch your Xbox to use it. Couple this with the Kinect Sensor with Kinect Adventures! and you basically have a Completely Hands Free gaming system. (minus changing out the game)

What a machine! You can connect to the internet via cat5 or wireless. Fast processing speeds and with the connect added it just comes alive even more. I would strongly suggest the 250gig HDD over the 4gig, unless you have a spare external HDD lying around. The free games that come with the console aren't always discs and they require a full download. Just the one free game we got with this machine was over 4gig. This is a fantastic machine!

The hard drive is clearly far more expensive than a bare drive. There are hard drive cases that cost under $10 for the XBOX 360 S ("slim") if you want to try that route. But this drive popped in and all my new and older games ran without a hitch. My grandkids were happy. I was happy. And I probably saved myself at least an hour (or maybe much more time and hassle if reviews of other drives are to be believed) of setting things up and potentially a lot of aggravation. I agree that this is a pricey drive, but my time is worth a lot to me and the ease of this addition to my XBOX 360 (which I received as a free promotion when I bought a new laptop) made it worth the price.The star rating seems inapplicable here since the offered rating options were for "fun" of game and "overall game rating". Both rating options seem inapplicable to rating a hardware addition to a game console. So I rated it 5 stars for ease of installation and it works as advertised. In truth the cost, while high in relation to no-name alternatives, is still $30 cheaper than local offerings of branded product.

Awesome gaming system. Kinect is outrageous fun! Still love my Wii but Kinect really gets your whole body moving. Great exercise and you don't even realize that your exercising.

This is a great gaming system. The console is small in size. The wireless controllers are a great feature. The system has great graphics. Just what my son wanted for Christmas! My only complaint is that the Halo game included in the bundle should have been on a disc. Instead you have to down-load it from the X-Box live web site. Very inconvenient and no back-up to the game.

I originally purchased this for my husband but found that our entire family loves it! We have a lot of fun playing.. Its also great for working out... I hate the gym so having a system that you can play with (assuming you have the Kinect)is great. It really gets you going, heart rate up and sweating..Most certainly a multi-purpose system - definitely an awesome investment.

I got this bundle for Black Friday through another retailer at an unbelievably low price. The bundle is perfect for someone who has wanted an Xbox 360, but has been waiting for the right time to get one. The two games are a major bonus. Although fair warning, the Halo game is a for download only. Also, this Xbox comes with the standard connection cable only. For those with HDTVs, be ready to buy the proper cable(s) separately. Again, a very small price to pay for such a great Black Friday deal.

The game was a great value, easy to set up with our entertainment system and we have a great time while getting some much needed exercise playing the games. The X-Box gets you engaged from the start and you become an active participant immediately.On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the highest score, I rate my experience with Amazon.com and the X-Box game a 14 :) This game console is simply amazing.

I've been playing the XBOX360 for quite some time now. This is a GOOD product, far more superior than the PS3. PS3 is overrated when it comes to gaming systems. They claim to have all this power, but when you put them side to side you really don't see a difference. Not to mention PSN is horrible for those who love playing online. Also everytime you turn the system on you cross your fingers and hope there wont be any system updates, those take a while sometimes (hours in some cases). With the XBOX 360 you won't have that problem, yes you pay a small monthly fee but if you think about it "You get what you pay for." If you want the BEST exclusive games, then the XBOX360 is for you. The new and improved XBOX360 won't let you down as far as the RROD. Also a lot quiter for those picky gamers. I haven't heard any complaints since the newer 360 came out last year. Although I have to say I've heard a few complaints about the new PS3's taking a dump, it cost a buddy between $100-150 to have his fixed (He probably got ripped off)But yeah, this is my opinion, take it or leave it!

The unit was purchased as a gift. Very disappointed to find out the unit was dead on arrival. The unit was sent to Microsoft for repair, have not had a chance to play anything on it yet. Have to assume they have poor quality control in the manufacturing of the unit. The Amazon purchase & shipping experience was as trouble-free as always, though I have confirmed my suspicion that it might be better to purchase electronics locally so returns/exchanges are less time consuming.

Updated my Xbox360 system with the Kenetic Sensor Unit and new Xbox360 250 GB console, seem to work great with the games offered for it, purchased couple of exercise programs to use with it, amazed at how much information is used by programs to customizes the workouts for the games. Xbox live has some great Kenetic Demos to DL so you can try before you buy for all ages. Unit uses a camera, sound, and infrared to record your motions, great for family times, groups or alone, 4 thumbs up for this product. Xbox live is updating it service so you'll be able to do Facebook with built in camera, net flicks, etc.
