I bought a 4gb Xbox 360 slim last year on Black Friday thinking it was a steal, and it was. However I didn't realize how much space each game took up. So I went and bought 2 memory sticks (8gb each) and with even with those I could still only have about 5 games loaded on at a time. When I saw this I did a little research into Xbox brand vs off brand and I decided to get this one because I didn't want to ruin my Xbox with and off brand. This thing took more time getting out of the box then putting it in and was instantly recognized by my Xbox. It was also easy to transfer the data and licenses over from the memory sticks to the new hard drive.

No issues with the installation and the XBox knew what to do when it felt its presence. I am happy I bought it. I can play legacy games (couldn't do with the other drive I was using) so the wife is happy and now I never have to worry about running out of space to store games.

Arrived on-time in factory-sealed packagingI ordered this as an add-on to a 4GB Slim console. Easy transfer of data from a 1st gen hard drive via USB transfer cable and hasn't had a hiccup since. It's pricey but worth the reliability.

This was a gift for a 9-year-old. He very much wanted it, and was over the moon when I gave it to him. He loves it and when I asked him to rate it, he said a to give it the highest rating.

We love the xbox with Kinect - it's such an unusual experience to not use a separate controller. The only 'problem' is that it is really easy to get into it, and you might find some sore muscles as a result. We installed this in the basement rec room which has a lot of space. However, I'm going to add an excercise mat to save my knees and lower back since the floor is basically concrete with a bit of carpet on top. As I mentioned, it's really easy to get into it, so you might want to consider the need for a mat in your own space.

Once upon a time, I was a hardcore gamer. Every now and then I like to relive those days, but the older I get, the bigger my responsibilities have grown, and with that comes less time for me to dedicate to my video games.That being said, I know a good game when I see one. I'm fluent gamer that enjoys losing myself in a virtual world. I was a bit skeptical when Kinect was announced, thinking it was nothing more than a Wii improvement. But because I'm also a tech freak, and I'm always looking for a sneaky way to incorporate an acceptable method of gaming into a life I share with a woman... I figured I'd give Kinect a try.In one word, Kinect is amazing. It's revolutionary. It's fun. To the point where my neighbor had to call me and gently request that we tone down the jumping, stating that he could hear us laughing and knew we were having fun... but he'd really appreciate us being a bit more quiet. What a party pooper. Maybe I should invite him up to try this out :)My girlfriend who has pretty much never played a video game in her life was having a blast, talking trash, and rolling turkey's in bowling. She aced me in ping pong. She kicked my butt in Volleyball. She's an athletic type that questioned my decision in buying a game that would potentially keep me indoors saying, "why not just go outside to jump around?". Hours later, she was begging me for one last match and one last bowling when me, the hardcore gamer, was requesting that we escape to the bedroom.Needless to say, this technology is new. It's not perfect, and there are some latency issues that I'm sure will one day be ironed out once developers become more comfortable with the system. The set up is a bit of an annoyance as I live in a New York apartment that is more of a box than a habitat, but we managed to get it to work after shuffling around our furniture. I think we decided we are leaving our living room in this new set up so we can get Kinect started up on the fly and dance, bowl, and jump the night away.As for an actual product review - the camera is a bit larger than expected, but sits comfortably on my entertainment/television stand. I have a 32' LCD that displays it perfectly, but now we're already discussing the budget for a new television to satisfy our growing thirst for having a larger screen for dancing.I purchased two additional games at lunch - Dance Central and Kinect Sports, and while I won't go into a review for either of those products and focus primarily on a review of the overall experience, I'd say if you like to dance, pick up dance central no questions asked. If you like additional mini games that everyone can get involved in, pick up Kinect sports. I like to do both, so it was an easy decision to pick both games up.Overall, it's a wonderful experience. It's fun, it's engaging, and it really changes your perspectives on gaming. Once a hardcore gamer, my leisure time is now going to be spent doing a few rounds of bowling and ping pong. This product is highly recommended, and I've already posted videos to my Facebook account encouraging friends to buy it. And if I am encouraging friends to buy it, than I encourage you - a stranger Amazon user to buy this. It's fun for everyone.

I received the new hdd in the mail and immediately put it in my 360slim. It worked perfectly and I had no issues. It's been a few months and it still works, no save lag or defects of any kind. Great product!

After spending this amount of money the device still doesn't belong to me, Microsoft apparently doesn't have enough money and won't let me use simple apps like Netflix and Amazon video without paying a subscription fee. Games won't unlock unless I pay the subscription. I'll be using other devices that don't try and double charge me as my primary media devices.Downloads cost much more than on other devices I have, like iPad or Wii.Dance game has miserable song list, mostly recent teeny bobber junk.

For every new console there are 3 xbox live gold membership available, but you can't use them with your older accounts, so there's no point of having them. I was hoping that with 10 years in the market they could fix that but i was wrong. The bundle is superb the build quality it's okay, plastics are thinner than the old models also the games boxes cant resist if you pile them up.

Easy installation, but make sure that you have some way to back up whatever you may have saved on the original hard drive. Once you intall the new hard drive you can then load the saved information.

Great bundle, perfect as a gift! I replaced my old xbox, the 250gb hard drive on this one will be very useful as I have tons of games to store on it. Recommended purchase for sure!

It's a slim X360 with a price cut. Nothing new to add, so here's this bundle's fine print:1) Forza 4 ESSENTIALS EDITION. It comes with fewer cars than Forza 4 (320 as opposed to 500+ish). Not sure if all the tracks are included.2) Skyrim is a digital download, so you're s--- out of luck if you were planning on selling the game.3) It's 1 month of free Xbox LIVE Gold, not 3.4) Get your own HDMI cable, this box doesn't have one.5) Get a rechargeable controller battery, this box doesn't have one. AA batteries are so 1997.Basically, Amazon needs to get the product description right. Other than that, it's nice to finally join the 360 party, especially now that the back catalog's best games can be bought dirt cheap on the used market.

Microsoft finally got it right. A sleek unit with all of the feature built in that should have been there from the beginning. I use it to access Amazon, Hulu and more. Eventually it will be used to access a movie library.

the stand-alone games and ability to dance, explore and workout in your living room are really cool. The ability to extend these activities out to pool gaming on the internet further enhances the xbox power.

This is a great value for this bundle.The games are Dance Central 2 download, and Kinect Adventures and Kinect Sports, all very fun and the right entry-level games for someone new to Kinect.Note that besides the Kinect sensor, console also comes with a normal wireless controller (this not in the product description and I bought an additional controller which I'll probably return).Also the 250 Gb HDD is great - you can carefree download any demos and games you want, without worrying about running out of space. Most downloadable content for games easily exceeds 1Gb, so 4GB won't get you too far.

Easy, simple, works great. If you need more disk space, this is an easy fix for pretty cheap dollars, and it's OEM so there no installation issues, just open the door, stick it in, close the door, done.

Loving the Toy, Skyrim don't get any better, entire system arrived the SAME DAY as ordered, little extra change but just in time for the storm Packed nicely, running smooth. its an Xbox what more can i say?

The additional hard drive is an excellent product!I thought it would be a headache installing an internal hard drive. This device was easy to install and works seamlessly. Xbox instantly reads the extra gigs upon plugging it in.The product came on time and was shipped fast!

I purchased this for grandchildren to get them doing something more physical than move their fingers when they come over. This exceeded my expectations and I would recommend the same size for other other ignorant Grandparents or parents. By 'size' I mean the little number "250GB". There is a smaller version available that is much more reasonably priced that won't handle all the games the kids might want to play. This is the one to buy!

I have not played it but my wife and kids love it. The way i see it is they get exercise and get to play games and compete with eachother. They're happy so I'm happy.
