If you are thinking of using the xbox as a media center be aware you need an xbox Live Gold account ($60 per year) to do so. This came as a total shock to me as there are hundreds of Netflix/Hulu devices (including the Wii/PS3, Roku, TV's, DVR's, Blu-ray Players, iPhone's, Android phones) and the xbox is the only one to charge for the privilege. The fact you need to pay an extra $60 per year in order to watch youtube videos on the xbox is so unbelievable it's actually funny.

This console is awesome! After you set up an account it asks you if you want to download xbox live for free, HECK YEAH!!! And it comes with all sorts of codes for (skyrim) apps and memberships! I DEFINITLY recomend this for there console collection!

This was suppose to be a gift for my son, but it turned into a gift for the whole family. We love it. We played the adventure game and believe it or not, it is a fun way to work out. You do not need the controllers like with the Wii, you are the controller and it is super fun. This is a great way to spend family time!!!

This is a great product with active games. I was sore for like 3 days right out of the box because I didn't want to stop playing. For those that are planning on the 250 GB Xbox, let me let you in on a secret. You can't use it for movies unless you buy from the xbox live market. But you can still fill it with games and game demos easy enough.

Growing up in the 80s/90s I was always a Nintendo kid. Then I discovered PC gaming and I was hooked until just recently when I purchased my Xbox 360. I had stayed away from console gaming due to the less than amazing graphics and coarse control surfaces that were difficult to learn. Once I moved out of my parent's house and into my first apartment, I quickly realized I needed an activity that I could entertain guests with and I splurged on this Xbox 360 package. The inclusion of the game and wireless wheel really add to the fun of the gaming system. Forza 4 is easy to learn for anyone who's driven a car and the controls are intuitive. Its always fun to watch a newbie playing with the steering wheel and whipping it left to right. It also comes with a standard wireless controller so right out of the box you're ready for head to head racing. If you're looking for an Xbox 360 bundle but you're not ready to invest in Kinect, then this is the package for you.

I couldn't believe the deal they had here. I get a new xbox slim console with the 250gb hard drive, 5 arcade games, Skyrim, Forza, 4 months xbox live, and two free month subcriptions to epix and hulu. You can't beat that value. Xbox alos has come along way. The new layouts are very easy to use and not as confusing as the ps3. There are also way more features xbox has been adding over the years that made the switch from ps3 to xbox truly worth it.

I purchased this as a christmas gift (2011). The young man who received it was delighted - to say the least. It is not almost 2013 and he is still playing the Xbox. It has held up amazingly well and amazon made it very easy to purchase and I love having it delivered right to my door - no running around town and fighting crowds at the stores.

My grandson's xbox broke 6 months ago. When I asked him if he wanted a new game for Christmas he told me - "No games this year gram. My xbox is broken" As I started looking for another game unit I just couldn't beat the price on Amazon. I bought it when there were only 2 left. So happy I did. Was a perfect gift.

I like everything about this bundle except.. that i cant use my 30 days gold membership.. i don't know why.. i have to buy one by my self.. so be aware of that.. also forza is just the essential edition.. if u want all others cars u have to buy it too... for me 7/10.

I bought this product after a long debate over getting the cheapier off-brands or the MS branded product. I decided to go with the MS product just because I wanted to make sure that I was covered if anything went wrong! I will keep you posted if that happens

I just got this in the mail today. Was SUPER excited about it. But I got everything hooked up and...nothing. Yes, before anyone mentions it, everything *including* the yellow cord, is plugged in. But I can't see anything. I can only hear sound. If anyone would like to offer me any further assistance on this matter, I will be sure to rewrite a proper review once I've actually been able to play it a little, and bump the stars up.Until then...

My sons xbox lens died last year so i lent him mine xbox for the time being & its a 4 year old model with only 12 gigs with not enough gigs to support all he plays so i got him this for christmas & he had me with tears of joy cause he can freely play now with 250 gigs! Game on son game on!

The setup was really simple, just put the hard drive in the slot until it clicked and it started working immediately. Its a bit more than the generic and from what I hear it works just as well, but I needed this so I can play old Xbox games along with the extra memory.

I ordered next day delivery and even though it was across the country, it still arrived early afternoon the next day. I did not realize it included 2 games as well as a headset and a controller. Im not real familiar with gaming systems, but I know my son will be totally excited and probably will spend several days, all day, on this once he opens it on Christmas. I am very satisfied!

All items described in the packaging detials for this item were received very quickly and sustained no damages during the delivery process. This was a gift for my little brother's bday and he loves it. The redesign for the new slim seems to be payijg off as it runs for many hours in the day and does not get extremely hot.
