I was not sure xbox hard drive would arrive before Christmas but it did. I found the hard drive to be in excellent condition. It was a gift for my son and he is very happy with it.

I AM NOT A GAMING PERSON BUT XBOX KINECT ROCKED MY WORLD SOMEHOW. THE GAMES IN THE BUNDLE DEAL ARE AMAZING AND PUSH ME TO WORK OUT AT HOME. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We really the new Kinect features on alot of games. The voice recognition is really good and makes many of the games more fun to play as they respond to voice commands.

I don't find myself buying new games every month but god damn if I didn't need the space. I had enough trying to make space to play games so I coughed up the dough and found myself getting halfway through the memory of all the games.

BEWARE!!! WARNING!!! ****WARNING****DO NOT MOVE OR BUMP the Xbox 360-S while a disc is spinning in the drive!!! IT WILL DESTROY YOUR DISC!!! The disc will dislodge from the center spindle and DESTROY your disc. This is a known issue that Microsoft WILL NOT do anything about. They will not reimburse you for the $50 plus bucks you spent on your game and will only say that "the warning is clearly printed in your owner's manual". Unfortunately, it's only printed once in the beginning under "setting up your xbox". This is a VERY IMPORTANT warning that should be in BIG BOLD print in multiple sections of the manual!What happens is the disc's top surface (more sensitive to permanent damage due to a thin lacquer layer) scrapes against the metal DVD enclosure. You can't miss it because you'll hear a loud scraping sound for a few seconds. That's all it takes to permanently destroy your disc because what's happening is the reflective aluminum layer that contains the game data is being scraped away. The other side of the disc - the reflective, non-printed side - can withstand minor scratches because the fragile aluminum layer is protected by a thick polycarbonate plastic layer.Also, like the previous xbox and xbox 360 versions, the new 360-S is still susceptible to overheating. It's true, they redesigned the 360-S's enclosure for better ventilation, so it doesn't overheat as easily as the older models, but it is still an issue.

my son is totally enjoying the xbox and I got the large storage so he will never ask for a replacement, hopefully 250GB will be all a teenager needs, I can't imagine he will ever need more!!

My son is what you would be valid in saying spoiled rotten to the core! He had an Xbox 360 live years ago and after it failed him I swore that I would never buy him another one! I am still very apprehensive of these machines even now as they have had a bad reputation for getting the 3 rings of death-(or at least the earlier model did)!!!And since I purchased this one for him I have heard some people online say that these still have an over heating issue, but they say that the lights were changed around the power button and so they say that it is not called the 3 rings of death now? I do not know?I cannot personally say this was a good buy or a bad buy either as I am not a gamer and never will be! I bought it for my son and he has a ps 3 that I bought him after all the trouble with the first Xbox-360 live he had and he still plays it more even after he asked me to buy this Xbox 360Live! It was for his *CHRIST*-mas this year!So I am leaving this at 3 stars and I feel that I am being generous about it! But that bad taste is still there in my mouth from the first one!!!Thanks!!!

Does what it is supposed to. There are a lot of knock offs to choose from but they don't provide backwards capabilities for the old xbox games. This may not be an issue for a lot of people, but something to consider is if the after market hard drives will supply forward capabilities when the new xbox comes out.

i bought this for my husband who loves to play video games. Of course he loved it but i have to say personally i didnt ever play video games but since we have the kinect i started playing is really fun for the whole family i love it!

The kids love the Xbox, but when we received it the headset was broken. Cost $20 to replace. Hated to ship it back when the kids wanted to play it so badly and it would have taken weeks to return and have reshipped.

If you are bored and need something to do this is the most innovative system for the family or children. It has from exercises to war games. It basically has something for everyone. Great investment for the family at great pricing. U will not be dissapointed.

Got this for a good price. The included 2 games were a great way to get started. The xbox has made a great addition to my media center. Netflix, Hulu and Windows Media Center. Also access to DLNA devices is super simple.One negative is that the headset included was broken on delivery. Not worth sending the whole unit back for replacement.

I bought this for my sons for christmas. Everyone is having a lot of fun. It is taking them awhile to get a feel for the movement of the kinect. They get frustrated with it, but I think that ove time this will be no problem.

Drive works great and is a authentic Microsoft drive. Save yourself some money by buying this drive over the current in-stock 320GB drive at you local Best Buy.
