Love having the internal extra memory. It lets me install my games for faster load times (a HUGE deal with Skyrim). And since it slides into the bottom on the Xbox 360 'Slim' model, it doesn't take up any extra space and I never forget to take it with me when I play at a friend's house.

I received the product in what appears to me an official microsoft box, but the hard drive seems like it has been opened before, or it is not built very solid. Works just fine, but it seems like I could pull it apart very easily to open it up, that is why I question its authenticity.

Works great, workout a couple times a week with the included sports games and My Shape Fitness Trainer, which I downloaded. I got the 1-year membership with Xbox Live online. I realized later that it doesn't really offer any advantages over the free membership unless you are an online gamer, which I am not. But, no biggie. Great machine.

I only bought one for few months. Haven't got time to play until very recently.Bought Skyrim, a great game, played only for several days. All of sudden,CANNOT RECOGNIZE THE HARD DRIVE. ALL SAVED GAME LOST!Thought it only my bad luck, reformat it, played several hours, the next dayCANNOT RECOGNIZE THE HARD DRIVE AGAIN. ALL SAVED GAME LOST!Did some search online. I am not the only one experiencing the problem.HARD DISK DOWN only after few days playingDo not buy this

I love it.I recently bought it for Christmas for my family because my PS3 stopped working. I love the home menu and all the apps. We use the Amazon Instant Video app a lot. Having the Amazon Prime account is great with the Xbox. The games run great and online play is no problem. The wireless internet set up was a lot easier than the PS3. I don't know I didn't get the Xbox sooner. My son loves the Kinect, it gets us moving and gets our heart rates up. I don't feel bad letting him play games because he's getting exercise. Great purchase!

I was very excited about the great deal i got on this hard drive, that is until it arrived. When u advertise something as new, usually that doesnt mean unpackaged, scratched, and sticky on the outside, which is what i got. I could have gotten over all the cosmetic stuff as long as it worked in my xbox. Of course, it did not. Constant dashboard freezes or a blackscreen Error:68 prompt would show up nearly every boot up, which had never happened before sticking this infected piece of garbage into my new xbox slim. Back to my flashdrives i go

The Xbox is an okay system. The downfall of the system is the requirement of a monthly fee to access all online features. Multiplayer? Extra, keeping a separate profile for you kids? Extra. Since the kinect signs in a profile by recognition. If you have a download patch for one kids kinect game, and another child wants to play. The system will detect a different child and won't let the game access that paid for content without paying for the family gold upgrade. Xbox will find every extra way to charge you more for everything on the console.Do yourself a favor, buy a PS3. Virtually every game is available for both and PS3 doesn't charge a penny and offers all their online access for no extra charge except for actual content purchases.

This product say that is 250GB hard drive, but when you get it conected inseide your xbox360s, the system just show you have 224GB of memory, in my case the system memory is located in the internal memory of 4GB, leaving just 1.2GB, then where is the others 26GB????

Bought this to replace my old elite, Microsoft was going to charge me $120 to repair it so I decided to splurge and get this. Hard to pass up a deal like this. The 250gb console alone is $299. With this you get Forza, not the complete game I guess (doesn't come with all the cars), but for a free game beggars can't be choosers. Downloadable copy of Skyrim, which won many game of the year awards last year. I also got TWO months of xbox live gold with mine, I noticed other reviewers saying they got one, I don't know if I got lucky or what but I ended up with two one month trial codes in mine. Also comes with one month trial of HULU and Epix. Only thing bad about this is it doesn't come with an HDMI cable. If you are looking to upgrade or replacing your old 360, this is the deal to get!

Don't waste your money on these bundles that claim to offer digital entertainment they sucker you in and then only allow you to download games from amazon which most people dont want to play and if it is purchased for a kid heaven help you as they force you to link them to your amazon account giving the kid free run to purchase what ever they want and you will be charged for it . The only thing you get is the xbox live membership Amazon needs to be ashame of if its self for misleading people like this

First of all let me say that this is an amazing deal. For the same price as the system without games you can have two games. Skyrim is the great game you have all heard it was. Those without a high speed internet connection may be a little peeved that it is only a download. The warning is concerning the other game--Forza 4. The copy that comes with this bundle is dubbed the "Essentials Edition." What this means is that the game is the same as the copy you can buy new except with 214 less cars than with the full game. You still have 320 cars and from the best I can tell the rest of the game is intact. This probably should not be a dealbreaker for most of you however as even without Forza, the Xbox 360 with the Skyrim download is still a great deal in itself. I wholeheartedly recommend this bundle.

When I went to college, I bought a Windows laptop and received a free Xbox 360 Slim with my purchase. Of course, this Xbox 360 was an arcade version, meaning that it came without any sort of hard drive (only 4 GBs of internal storage). Those 4 GBs lasted me long enough, but eventually I wanted more AND wanted to be able to play original Xbox games on my 360 too. So, I looked for a hard drive to buy that would satisfy my storage needs and allow me to play old games. It turns out that only Official Microsoft HDDs will allow old games to be played, and they cost a lot. So, I bought this one used, and it works great!

Great storage and good price, totally necessary if you are a gamer and download movies and games from XBox Live, good storage space if you are a casual player. Still working, and still have pleanty of space left on it.

Great bundle, the last update that was done to the dash board has made it very smooth and easy to use. Still has great games you can enjoy on it, (many of them at great prices). I'm playing through all the Halo series to catch up before 4. The system itself is not glossy, I wish it was, I think the glossy one looks better. I knew before purchasing that the new buttons are all touch, I wish they had kept the physical buttons. I'm not much into racing games but Forza 4 is surprisingly fun!Couple other things that are not really negatives but I wish Microsoft had changed. This slim should have gotten the slot load in drive. Also the back of the console, I use my monitor to play the 360, and if you are using HDMI it will automatically take the sound from it. You can't use the Xbox A / V cables to re-rout the audio to another audio system, you have to purchase a separate adapter that doesn't block the HDMI slot. (The one in the box does) My PS3 allows me to use HDMI as my video source and A/V cables for audio to plug into my Logitech audio system.Other than that, system is great, Xbox Live is great, worth the ~$4 a month.

its like this keeps paying ...... its been a year since purchase, and i still play the Halo reach that was sent with the package. I have ofcourse bought halo 4 and halo 3 halo 3odst and more games. this thing streams utube, netflix, news, and music videos to the tv, its like tv replacement...

I purchased this and the Kinect together. The kids love playing Kinect and I love that it gives them a lot of exercise at the same time. They get to do something that they like and I like that they are active. I don't let them play games with the controllers and I only allow them to play certain games that are age appropriate for them. I also love that we get Netflix and other perks with the X-Box as well. Sometimes it's not all about "just playing games". The Kinect gave us a happy medium for all.

Hello I am from Venezuela and newly receipt the product since it realizes the purchase and it turns out that the XBOX does not work, presents faults, as on that the monitor puts in red and does not work at all, that I can do I am grateful for the information since for my it is a fraud at the time the purchase

This is really just a review of the bundle since I assume you can read any number of reviews of the 360S itself should you desire - c'mon, you already know if you want one of these or not :)This was recently on sale for 250. With Forza and the wheel, that was a great deal for a 250gb bundle. More than that... these days frankly you can do better.So if you see it on sale, and you like Racing games, go for it. The wheel is no replacement for a "real" steering rig, but I found it very comfortable and a lot easier to drive with than using the controller. It's a nice compromise, and it works with Forza out of the box.

I own a PS3 and I am happy with it. I wasn't going to get a Xbox 360 until this bundle came along. I mostly got it for the included Halo Reach and the new Xbox 360 Slim console, which doesn't seem to have the overheating issue or Red Light of Death that older Xbox 360 consoles had.Pros:-Comes with a 250GB hard drive. This is necessary to play games smoothly. Installing the game to the hard drive makes the Xbox 360 run quieter and cooler.- Built-in Wi-Fi. You no longer have to buy an adapter to connect wirelessly. It's built into the system.- Built-in Kinect port. This Xbox 360 Slim has a special port just for the Kinect so you don't have to buy an adapter.- 3 Free Months of Xbox Live Gold. Xbox Live is the reason to get the Xbox 360. Its extensive online service is more user-friendly than PSN, but you will have to pay $60 a year after your 3 months are up (Amazon has some deals to get a Xbox Live membership around $45-50) for it.- Halo Reach (downloadable token). There is no physical disc. Instead, they give you a code that you download from the Xbox Marketplace to your hard drive.- Fable 3. It's an RPG game. Not my kind of game, but if you enjoy role-playing, you might like it.- Official Xbox headset. It's a mono headset, which means there's only one earpad to hear voice from. It works fairly well, but I have the Astro A40s so I don't use it.Cons:- Have to pay to play online.- Does tend to get hot when playing from the disc.- Fans run much louder than the PS3.To summarize, this is a great bundle for someone who doesn't have a xbox 360 or would like to have both systems. If you already have a xbox 360, there's really no reason to get this one. Most Xbox 360 owners will probably already have Halo Reach and Fable 3 isn't really a console seller. Now, I can game with friends on both the PS3 and Xbox 360 with ease.Also, I purchased the One-day shipping (which was $10 bucks for me) and it really did come the next day, just in case you were wondering about pushing your delivery date up.

This was an amazing deal! I ordered this product for Christmas for my daughter. It came in perfect condition, and the Kinect Adventures game is everyone's go to favorite! I love how the Kinect works as opposed to Wii and Playstations versions of something similar. It arrived very quickly and we did eventually have to send it in for repairs after trying to play a burned movie (not saying that was the cause or not) it got open disc problem, I sent it in under the warranty, they picked it up quickly, fixed it, and sent it back way faster than I thought they would. Totally happy with this product and got it cheaper brand new than Vintage Stocks used price.

It's a great family entertaintment for winter time. The kids love it, specially the dance central game. Very good deal in a convenient price: console works great, good games and control, but this bundle doesn't include the mount for the kinect sensor (for TV or wall). You have to buy this accessory in order to make it work better specially in a small living room. Other than that very good bundle.

Has anyone else been unable to find the download token for the "Dance Central 2" game or the one month free Xbox live gold redemption code?Really not impressed that this console needs a paid subscription to allow streaming for Netflix. Ok I can see a charge for the online games etc, but an additional fee to connect to a service that I'm already paying for! I would have got the PS3 if I had known that. Go to the xbox live website to see full details before you buy. I don't think the listed cautions are specific enough.

I was gonna get the 320 but I think the 250 will be fine. Super Easy to install, just plug it in!!! Instantly gives you the hard drive space to download all you demos
