I got this headphone because I need a cheap wireless headset that could do the following:- Gaming on my Computer- Music- Calls from my phone- XBOX 360- Wireless Versatility- Sleek LookingOverall, the headphones do get the job done, but I don't recommend these if you expect surround sound and noise isolation.They are, however, good for making calls on your smartphone and chatting via Skype on your computer. The nice thing about this headphone is that it comes with a noise-canceling mic. I have talk to my friends on Skype and they say that I sound very clear. Still these headphones are for talking and some music listening. They are NOT for gaming and listening to music heavily.Pros:- Noise-Canceling Mic- Versatile Connections Between Computer and Phone- Comes with Two Connection modes: - A Dedicated Nano Reciever USB - Bluetooth Connection - Switchable on the headset itself- 8 Hours Battery LifeCons:- Not made for gaming- Not much bass- Not Good for Listening to Music a lot- No Sound IsolationIf you are looking something for that is good for gaming, wireless, and for music,I recommend getting a Gaming headphone from Turtle Beach, Creative Sound Blaster, and Triton

Pros:- Light weight- Good range- Decent battery lifeCons:- Not comfortable over extended periodsI used to have an ASUS set of wireless headphones that was working great for gaming, but the battery on it was slowly depleting and I needed to find something new that would last me 3-4 hours. A lot of gaming headsets I just don't like for some reason or another or they're way too pricey for my taste (I can't justify spending over $100 for a headset) as I'm not using it frequently enough. I came across these a couple times in my search. At first I was hesitant, as I didn't want to end up having the same battery problems as my ASUS ones. And I couldn't really find any reviews that talked about it. But all the other headsets I came across that caught my interest were either too expensive or fell short of this one. So finally I gave in and picked these up.I've had them now for about 3 months and they are working great for what I needed them for and more. My intention was to just use them for gaming (ventrilo) or Skype, but they've also been quite useful for watching movies late at night without waking up my roommates. The sound comes through great and no distortion.They also have a Bluetooth feature so I've been also using it with my phone as my phone is also my MP3 player. Controls on the headset work perfectly. I've even answered calls with it, and although it's too clunky to be wearing while driving or whatnot, it's good enough when you're in a theme park or something (I've used it in Disneyland which always brings some interesting stares :P).My one complaint though is over extended periods (over 3 hours) they start to irritate my ears. So definitely not for those 8 hour gaming sessions or 6 movie marathons.They fold nicely and compactly for me to fit in my bag, but don't expect to be carrying them around in your pocket.The other nice thing I like is the USB cable you use to charge it with is fairly long and you can use it while it's charging (unlike some I know of) so if the battery does run out I can still just plug it in and be good.Overall it's great for casual use. So if you're looking for something affordable that you don't need for hardcore gaming or such, this one's a good pick.

When I originally bought these I had a smartphone and was using it for both that and my skype on the pc. I no longer have a smartphone so this review is primarily for skype/pc use.Overall they are good quality and have good sound and are comfortable. The problem is that when I receive a call on Skype on my computer, in order to answer the call I have to pick up the headphones, move the selector switch from off over to the pc position. It takes several seconds to come on before I can hear the speaker and then several seconds more before the mic is available for me to talk. So I can hear people saying hello hello but I can't answer since the mic hasn't come on and by the time it does, people often hang up.The only solution for this is to leave it on in the skype position all the time. That means the batteries will be draining so I've gotten to where I just leave it on in the pc position and I leave it plugged into the usb port so it is always charging.So for my purposes, which is primarily using it for skype, I would have been better off buying a wired pair since that would only use 1 usb port (the wireless requires a port for the dongle and a port for the charging wire). I did have a wired pair from Logitech before this and they also had good sound and were comfortable (and half the price), so next time once these wear out I will go back to wired.

I was somewhat cautious in this purchase, based on some of the mixed reviews I'd read - but after using this wireless headset for the past ~2 months, I'm VERY pleased with the purchase! The USB fob, plugged into my home desktop computer, only has a range of about 20 feet before the signal starts to fall apart -- but my wireless router is located 1 foot away from my computer and the product documentation warns against that type of setup (and I haven't tested it under the 'ideal' configuration that doc described).I've also used this headset for numerous VOIP calls, and I can both hear and be heard well.There *is* storage for the USB fob provided in the headset itself, which is convenient. In 2 months of use, I haven't seen any problems with loose connections, and it's a comfortable fit on my head. The additional switches for iTunes (next track, previous track, pause) are useful, though I haven't used it much for iTunes. There have been a couple of times the headset didn't connect with the wireless fob -- but probably my fault; I have simply turned off the headset, unplugged the fob, plug it back in and WAIT about 5 seconds, then turn the headset back on, and *viola!* I'm connected.I haven't yet used the Bluetooth connection feature, but with numerous devices that could make use of that I'm sure to take advantage in the future. The 5-star rating might be a tad high (see "cons", below), but definitely a 4.5-star item for my needs, and I'm happy with my purchase.PROSNice sound qualityVoice pick-up works wellin-headset storage for USB fobfolds nicely for storage, travellight-weight, but seems durable (check with me again in a year!)CONSBattery life a little disappointingStorage case would be a nice addition

Getting the driver started on Vista Ultimate x64, but it works swimmingly now. The problem was that I was misunderstanding the instruction on how to pair it to the operating system. You have two choices on the switch to pair on blu-tooth or use the dongle method. I was surprised how quickly it paired to my system with the built in blu-tooth router that is on my motherboard!! I had previously thought that was only for cell phones, so I am pleasantly surprised. However Skype cannot read this method so I switched to the dongle instead. After fiddling with it, I finally got the lights to indicate a pairing and upon Skype testing, it worked very well. I made sure it was the default on the control panel for both speakers and microphone in the sound controls. Other reviewers complain about having to manually switch back to PC speakers afterward, but it is so easy to do if you have the sound control panel icon as a shortcut to the desktop - I just can't see any problem with that. The sound is so good, I may watch my next movie very loudly, using this head set, so I don't disturb the neighbors. So far the dolby seems to be evident in blu-ray productions, I may have to play with it a while to see if surround sound effects with work with this head set.

I was so tired of cords! I wanted something that was wireless, comfortable and compact. After reviewing many headsets, I decided on the Logitech H800. I've been using it now for a couple of months and am very happy with it. It comes with a mini USB bluetooth adapter and a replaceable battery. I've used the headset with my desktop, laptop and my iPhone. The sounds is very good and the mic works perfectly. While using it with Skype, Tango and Google Voice, everyone said I sounded good and I was able to hear them clearly. I had the same experience when using it via bluetooth on my iPhone. The mic moves out the way when not in use, its kind of hidden so you don't have to worry about it. I am able to move around away from my PC/iPhone with no problems and the distance is pretty good. The battery compartment stores the mini USB adapter when your not using it. The headset folds up for easy storage. I wanted to protect it so I purchased Bluecell Protection Carrying Hard Case here on Amazon since the headset folds just like the Dr Dre Beats headphones. The price was right and it fits perfectly. The battery life is adequate but I purchased a wall adapter for when I'm away from my computer (Luxmo AC Travel Wall Charger Fast 1000ma for Micro USB Cell Phone) since it only came with the USB charger.

I bought this headset because I find wires to be cumbersome and I wanted to be able to use them with a variety of devices. The sound quality is good and the set up for a computer without Bluetooth is easy. For a computer you just plug the dongle in and then access the headset through your sound settings of your OS. The Bluetooth pairing is a bit more challenging at times. I had to go to Logitechs website and research other ways of pairing than what the instructions that came with the device said would work. Following the rather complicated online instructions I was able to get get my laptop (which is Bluetooth enabled) to pair with the headset. That is the only reason I gave the device 4 out of 5 stars, the documentation is rather incomplete. Other than that the battery life is good, but once it runs down it requires several hours charging before you can use the headset again. I've not tried the microphone or pairing with my cell phone--but I assume that they will work fine once I go through the somewhat difficult process of again for it. For the money I don't think you can go wrong with this headset, I just hope that Logitech beefs up their documentation in the future a bit. I give it high marks for being able to used with Bluetooth and non-bluetooth PCs

I'm using them on a late 09, 27 inch imac running 10.6.8 and they work like a charm.Plug them in (with the included cable to fully charge them) .. go to your System Preferences .. and set the Sound Output and Input to "Logitech Wireless" and you are good to go.It was that easy.I can now do GoTo meetings while walking around my house (not that I do that .. but I did test it ... I was able to walk to the other side of the house all the while talking to my students .. and they had no idea. Gives me the freedom to get a drink of water, or let the cat out .. without breaking a step in my lecture.If I had to find one thing I'm not so crazy about is the volume seems low on them .. this is not a huge problem for me as I tend to listen to stuff at a normal level .. not rocking out to AC/DC as I once did : )I've had several headsets over the years .. granted they were cheaper than these .. but none of them compared to these ..I can gladly recommend them.

I have some praise and some gripes about this headset.Praise first:+ The sound is good and clear. Maybe not super-duper audiophile quality, but I had no complaints.+ The USB transmitter option works more smoothly for me than Bluetooth ever has with any headset I've tried. Connecting is almost always very fast. On the rare occasions when the headset doesn't seem to want to connect, I just unplug the USB dongle and plug it back in and that fixes it. I've found that Bluetooth headsets often require multiple attempts and other futzing before they sync to my computer.Gripes:- Probably a common issue with over-the-head headsets with earpieces that rest on the ears instead of cupping around them, these things fall off easily. Don't even think about using them while you exercise. Even normal household activities cause them to tumble off my head with annoying frequency. (Guys, whatever you do, don't bop your head to music while standing over the toilet -- guess what will happen if you do, and your reflexes for catching things in mid-fall might not be as fast as mine.)- This headset charges via a micro USB jack. The problem with this is that it's hard to see which way around a micro USB plug fits. I solved this by putting a tiny strip of duct tape onto one side of the USB plug to remind me of which way to orient it.- In spite of the above trick, which prevented me from repeatedly trying to jam the USB plug into the jack the wrong way around, the USB jack wore out after 5 months. The headset could no longer get a connection through the USB cable, so it wouldn't charge. Thankfully the headset was still under warrantee and as of now Logitech is sending me a replacement.

Pros:First off, they sound great. The music is full and clear. The mic sounds great too. The set-up for connecting it to the computer was easy as turning it on and plugging in the little usb nub. Connecting it via blue tooth to my smart phone was also as easy as any other Bluetooth headset. It's neat to be able to take calls on it when it's connected to the phone. The range is quite good. I can go from my bedroom to the living room, kitchen, bathroom, and 2nd bed room. My house is small, but this covers about 80% of it. It also works outside, on the side of the house that my room is on. it starts to cut out if I head to the back room, on the far end of the house from my bedroom.Cons:You can't take a call if they are connected to the computer and not the phone. They can't be connected to both at the same time. I can only wear them for 1-2 hours because they hurt my ears after a while. and the biggest con of all: if I want to switch back to playing music out of my speakers, I have to pull the usb nub out of the computer, then close the open applications that play music and open them again, a big hassle. Windows won't play music out of both at the same time like it does with my old headphones.

I use these headphones for video and audio chatting, and for listening to music or podcasts around the house - several hours by the end of most days, and instead of the computer speakers. I have the dongle on an 8ft USB cord so it's in a central location up high (instead of behind my computer on my desk), and the range is great - I can get up to 40-60 ft away in another room or even go outside before I start to lose the signal. The sound (both hearing and speaking) is very good, the on-board controls work well, and they are by far the most comfortable headphones I have ever owned.I use them with the included USB dongle. I have not tried to pair them with a Bluetooth device.All that said, they died suddenly and completely less than a year after purchase. I bought a SquareTrade electronics warranty for them and will be using it. Even with the failure, I'm planning on buying another pair. Also with the warranty.

Primary reasons for headphone purchase:+ Have a small desk, wireless feature removes clutter & allows mobility+ Needed something for skype & listening to music+ Also wanted something that worked with smart-phone if possible+ Needed to be portable for frequent travelPros:+ Headset works either with USB (RF) adapter or Bluetooth, a switch selects 1 or the other, but not both at the same time.+ Calls via Smart Phone (Bluetooth) are clear,+ Audio & Skype via USB (RF) is great+ The on-ear pads are comfortable+ Headset folds up nicely & could probably fit into an oversized sunglasses case.+ Charges via standard micro-usb cable & can charge while in use+ For Linux users, the USB (RF) connection works out of the box with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.x (includes the controls for volume, prev/next, play/pause)+ Check you local laws, but I tested with (BT) phone while driving and worked great. The control buttons are easy to access, and over-the-ear pads don't cut away basic traffic noise. Makes me wonder if they're any good for flying.+ Seems to be a great value for the priceCons:+ Tested on airplane and they're useless. The over the ear pads cannot cut the noise & it's very difficult to hear anything.+ Also, would be nice if it didn't require the USB RF transmitter if the headset was plugged in. Example: if you plan to re-charge & listen, better have 2 free ports.

Briefly, I am using this new Bluetooth headset for the following: Dell Precision M4600 laptop with Windows 8 installed, iPhone 3GS, and an IBM Thinkpad (my company computer). For each use, the headset connects easily and provides a very comfortable way to communicate through Microsoft Lync (the new Communicator), or Skype, watch Netflix, listen to music, and to watch DVDs. I've done all of these myself. We are getting iPhone 5s this month, so I suspect that no problem there either.The biggest problem that I have with this headset are minor. I have a very hard time switching between devices. I have to disjoin the device or turn off Bluetooth to get one to work over the other. Minor, but annoying... and not really fair to fault the headsets.Lastly, I definitely enjoy the convenience of wirelessly working or watching movies or podcasts. However, as has been mentioned by others, the ear covers do get a little hot. Enjoy!

I bought this for connecting to my bluetooth capable laptop and my Android phone. It will connect and work with either one just great. I haven't used the USB connector, since my Win7 laptop has bluetooth builtin. I have yet to try the USB connector on my desktop, which doesn't have bluetooth, so can't comment on its use. I can connect the headset to my laptop and connect my phone to the laptop. However, in this mode the headset only works for PC sounds and online audio, the phone still goes through the laptop speakers and mic. Still trying to figure out if there is a way to get it to work with the phone sound/mic for calls when the phone is connected to the laptop. In the meantime, I just connect to the phone through the day and disconnect from phone and connect to laptop for the occasional Live Meeting or GoToMeeting online conferences. I've found the battery life is excellent. I wear them connected to my phone all day and normally only have had to charge it about every other day.They are very comfortable to wear all day and very convenient for autoanswering calls or listening to music in between calls. Probably the worst thing and the reason they are so comfortable, is they are not a tight fit. I have a large head and they still are somewhat loose and will easily slip off when bending down. But for walking around and sitting at the desk they work great. You wouldn't want to use them while jogging, however.I have been very pleased with these and they have great stereo sound when listening to music. Also, the left headset has a little compartment that pops open to store the USB connector when not in use.

I think the range advertised on these wireless headphones is 30 feet or so, but in my experience it's no more than about 15 to 20 feet. Also, when I use them with certain videos on the computer, the sound will crackle and fade in and out. They have worked quite well however for my IP phone calls when I am right there next to the Computer. But, not being able to walk around very far from the computer kind of defeats the purpose of a wireless headset. And one last thing, when I undock my laptop from my docking station and move it from work to home, I frequently have to unplug and re-plug in the mini USB in order to make the headphones work again.

I chose this model on the recommendation of a colleague and fellow graduate student. We both take online courses and the classes are 3 hours long. I can listen to my class at home and tune out all the noise that is going on in the rest of the house (kids, TV, etc), and turn the volume pretty high if the presenter's voice is very low. It comes with a usb cord to charge it. I like to make sure it's charged before class so I can walk away from the computer and continue listening/ responding to the class. The feedback from my class is that when I presented was that my voice sounded very clear. I have used it for only one semester so far, but my colleague has had close to 10 consecutive semesters with no issues.

These are nice headsets which are comfortable and easy to use and have a nice sound but come with poor instructions and technical support which varied greatly depending who answered the phone.Installation:I could not figure out how to install this and the first technical support person from Logitech could not either. I am average when it comes to figuring out things related to the computer. I can usually figure things out but I do need to follow instruction manuals at times. The sheet that comes with this is poorly done. Rather than have a step by step process this has drawings that are not very helpful and text which is not very clear. I thought I installed this correctly but I was not getting any sound.After calling Logitech I got someone on the phone who seemed to be reading off the same instruction sheet as I and she could not help me. She seemed unfamiliar with Windows 7 and unfamiliar with this product.I called back Logitech and then got someone who knew his stuff. He told me to go to right place on the control panel and I was able to get this working in a couple of minutes. Part of the problem is making sure this audio device is the default audio device which does not always happen.Some people would not have had this problem and maybe I am technologically challenged at times but in my defense so was the first technical support person I got on the phone at Logitech.Comfort:The headset is padded. The padding is average. I have tried headsets with better quality padding and others with worse. The padding here is thick enough to work but feels a bit heavy on my head and ears at first. I got used to it in a short time and eventually did not even notice it on my head.Volume controls are easy to use and it is easy to take a call with this. The microphone is easy to slide up and down so you can use it when needed and then slide it out of the way when not using it.Sound:The sound quality for music is as good any headset I have used. I got this primarily to listen to music and not disturb anyone near me. Sound quality is great. I also found the sound quality when speaking to someone good as well.Battery:The battery last six hours and is easy to charge.Conclusion:This is a good product which suffers from an instruction sheet that is poorly done and some technical support people who could use more training. Once I got this working I was happy with it.

These things are great.Set up was nice and simple. You have to charge the head set and it comes with a USB connector for this purpose. Plug it in, wait until the light is green, and you're good to go. I plugged in the little USB stub (side-note, supposedly Logitech shares signal on these usb connections so you only need one for mouse, keyboard, headphone, etc., I have never made that work yet, still trying) and the after powering on the headphones the connection was made in about 2-3 seconds. That's all I had to do. I tried it on two different machines and I've swapped from machine to machine with the power on. No issues.We're talking wireless, so the first thing I did was walk around the house while I recorded my voice. If moved down a floor and away from the stairs, I lost signal. I also lost signal when I went outside and closed the door. But within 50 feet, it was like I was sitting next to the computer or even just plugged in instead of wireless. Excellent signal. I also never noticed any weird static or signal loss while operating with the headphones the way I did with a previous set of wireless headphones I had.Sound quality is excellent. So good in fact, I've started using these to listen to music instead of my noise cancelling ear buds when I'm sitting at my computer (if my zune supported bluetooth I'd use them on the road too). I've used them to present a couple of times now and the sound quality from the microphone has been solid. I've heard the recordings and nothing dropped out. The mic has been as good as my tried & true Plantronics wired headset (which I'm keeping, just in case).Not that I would use these while out & about, but I went ahead and paired them to my Android phone. It was as easy as connecting the headset to the computer. It worked just as well as with the computers.The headset itself has a few controls for adjusting volume, advancing tracks and answering/hanging up the phone. I haven't tried the last option, but the others worked wonderfully. I've adjusted volume with all the computers and devices I've connected it to. I've used it to cycle through the songs I was listening to.Overall, this is a great device. It does exactly what it's supposed to do and it does it in a very simple, straight forward way. The ergonomics are nice. It works well. I'm very pleased to have this headset available for both work and leisure.

I received this headset as a gift (purchased from Amazon) for a few days already. The more I use it, the more I enjoy it.#1 Sound. The sound is very well balanced with very good bass. The Logitech UE has something to deliver. Of course, it is not comparable to the $199 UE 6000, but the bass does have good control and not disturbing the vocal. Like some other reviewers said, it is OK to listen for hours without fatigue.#2 Design. It is light weight, and it sits on the head perfectly. Bigger headphones may have better sound, but this slim size does have the comfortable advantage.#3 USB dongle included. My 1 year old SONY computer couldn't recognize this bluetooth headset. The USB dongle is useful.It is my first bluetooth headphone, and I found the control very useful. I have some other better headphones, and with a long extension cable so that I can move around. This wireless thing is a lot more useful than I expected.Conclusion : For about $70, it is best value for voice call and music listening, for one single price.

I've used this headset for over a month now, and find it very adaptable to my PC, iPone and iPad. It's comfortable to wear for many hours. I've used it for on-line listening, phone, Skype and FaceTime with nice clarity.One minor point: the charging cable has no a/c converter, the 'other' end is a USB connector. I left a question at the Logitech website asking if there was one available. Later, I was chatting with a rep on line and asked him if the a/c cube for my iPhone would work. He said any AC-to-USB converter would work. Later, I received an email from the Tech Support which told me the only way to charge the head set was through the computer.

I'm loving this headset! Pros 1. Wireless is so much nicer than the cord. I do lengthy skype and video meetings. Freedom of no cable is great. 2. Range. I can get the full 40 feet away. This adds Coffeemaker and such to my access. 3. Sound quality. For me sound quality and volume levels have worked great. Voice recognition quality with Dragon is a major selling point. 4. Multiple modes. The ability to connect via USB while charging, and use bluetooth with my smartphone have been awesome. Use while charging reassured me about runtime limits. 5. Battery life has been great so for. I wanted to do a full discharge before recharging the first time. I used it/ left it on and it took about 24 hours to get to red light status. Note that this included overnight switched on without active connection. I found a replacement battery for about $14 if I decide I want a back-up.Cons 1. First unit I bought wouldn't connect after full charge. So glad I tried a second and had no issues.

Hands down, this headset offers the best features and I did love the freedom to walk around while on conference calls. It is comfortable to wear all day, has good sound quality, and you can charge it while using it. Unfortunately, it was never truly reliable and ultimately just stopped working one day after only 6 months of owning it. As others have mentioned, the whole time I used this one, I experienced the same bugs where occasionally the headset would not "start up" even though the lights were on (green)- this required some unplugging and fiddling with the jacks, but would usually resolved quickly and I could go on with my day. That is, until the day the lights did not work at all and there was nothing I could do to charge the headset. This product is way over-priced and I would not recommend purchasing it because it is bound to break, despite the many great features it offers.

We purchased about a dozen of these for our office. The first pair I tried had a bad connection in the right earpiece, so I only got stereo sound if I jiggled the earpiece just right. The second one I tried was just dead. It wouldn't charge or turn on. The third one worked properly, but the battery lasted about an hour after charging all night. My officemate got one that is working great and had it playing music 100ft away from his computer, so the range is terrific. I'm not sure how the rest of them fared, but for me, 3 out of 4 defective units means look for something else.Updated: I tried recharging the battery with the headset switched to "off", and now I get about 6 hours of continuous use, so it looks like headset #3 is not defective after all. Bumped up to 2 stars.

I've had a set of Logitech H800's for about a month or two now --and I can say they are consistently inconsistent. When I first got them, I tried the bluetooth connection first (this is the one I would prefer to use). They work, but when the computer sleeps (Win7x64 ultimate), the device driver goes "dumb," and you must uninstall and reinstall them to get them to come back (from the control panel device manager, completely uninstalling the drivers, not just removing the device and readding it).Given this wasn't going to work every time I wanted to use a headset, I then flipped to the Logitech connector. At first, everything seemed to work just fine, but they are now going into "dumb" mode every time the computer sleeps again. When I bring the system up, I must uninstall the drivers, reboot, and when they reinstall on their own, the headphones work. I've tried telling the system not to power down the USB port for power savings, and I've tried just about every other setting I can think of to prevent this problem.To make matters worse, they now have a crackling sound in the right ear whenever anything is played. This is highly annoying --in fact, it makes them almost impossible to use.I've contacted Logitech technical support about these problems, and they have no answers for any of these problems. They blame the bluetooth problem on Dell, Dell blames it on Microsoft, and Microsoft blames it on Logitech. And yes, I've been on the phone for 8-10 hours trying to figure it out. The crackling problem with their dongle they've no idea how to fix, other than constantly reinstalling the drivers (which obviously doesn't work, because I reinstall the drivers once or twice a day as it is).The top of the dongle has broken off, as well, making it almost impossible to remove the thing from a USB port.Someone, someplace, needs to make a decent bluetooth headset for PCs that will consistently connect (without the process of uninstalling the device drivers), and consistently works for more than a couple of weeks. This Logitech set isn't the solution.
