Can't beat it. This camera was on sale with a rebate. I'm pretty sure the only other camera on the market that comes close is the Apple iSight web camera. And honestly, the Logitech is a much better value.

This is a very nice webcam that has excellent resolution and no delay with audio and/or video. The only issue I have is...the 5 ft. USB cable that comes with the webcam needs to be a little longer...6 ft. would have been perfect. Especially with larger monitors. Mine is a 23" widescreen. It would be nice if manufacturers started supplying longer cables out of the box.

It was very easy to set up and start using. However my old computer didn't have a 2.0 USB and everytime my webcam turned on my computer crashed. Also it doesn't work on Linux?!?!?!?!?!

I selected this model because of it's 1080p resolution.The only problem is that it does not ship with the Macintosh software,this must be downloaded from Logitech's website.Other than that I love this web camera. The resolution is outstanding.In the fine print you will see that when you use it for on-line chatting likeSkype it will be in 720p resolution. Which is still outstanding.I talk with my brother overseas (he has the same web cam) the detailis outstanding.Overall I give it 2 thumbs up!

First, this is a great web cam. The software is terrible. Sometimes in skype, the video will drop randomly b/c the camera has some sort of problem. Most importantly, do the math, usb can not transmit the HD quality the box claims. So dont expect much more than a typical webcam in terms of video quality.

Length:: 2:15 MinsThis camera has great video quality as well as good stereo sound. While the hardware is great the software leaves much to be desired. If you ditch the included software and go with 3rd party applications you have a very nice setup.

This is my third Logitech webcam and I must say it is the one that has brought me the most excitement. I recently began making YouTube videos and I also use the camera for school (purchasing was a requirement for a class where we only used it once). The clarity is unmatched and the sound is almost perfect. I have also toyed with using the camera to stream services and classes for my church. I am certain that the only improvements that I would be more features within the software, because the performance is already spectacular.

I've had issues with this cam from the very beginning. The software for some reason just continually stops working with Flash. I then have to uninstall it and reinstall it and it will work for a week or so, and then it will no longer work.Incredibly annoying. I keep hoping Logitech will fix it at some point, but no luck.So word to the wise, if you plan to use with flash much, you may end up like me and need to reinstall frequently.

The video reviews shown on this product page do not do justice to the high quality of this Logitech webcam. Specifically, they show that the lips do not quite sync with the audio track.I hesitated to order this item because of this mis-information. When I finally did and tried it out my laptop, I did not notice any lip-syncing problem at all.The video and audio quality exceeds my most stringent expectation.Two tips to offer:One, start talking as soon as the count down is finished or it will tell you no microphone is detected.Two, you can easily reduce the orange hue of your fluorescent lighting for close-up face images by simply putting your palm over the webcam briefly.Highly recommended for serious video makers.

When attempting to install the software, it caused my brand new Dell XPS 9100 running Windows 7 to bluescreen each of the 5 times I tried to install it. Telephone support's solution was to download and install a previous version of the software, which did not allow you to use most of the camera's features (pan and tilt, zoom, etc.). Brought it back to Best Buy and exchanged it for an HP HD-4110, which installed flawlessly and has a few more features.

I did my research on video cams using the online computer magazines and this Logitech model came out on top. Bought two cameras and installed them on my computer on my daughter's computer so I could visit with and see my daughter and grandchildren who live 2,000 miles away. It was the easiest installation I have ever done with a computer accessory. Quick and easy. I was expecting a so so picture and sound and what I have is television quality. I am delighted! The picture and sound degrade occasionally when the Internet slows down, but that is the fault of my DSL carrier, not the camera. I tried the Logitech equivalent of Skype which is offered but got poor quality, Then I tried Skype and everything came in clear as a bell! They are all FREE so you do have a choice. I highly recommend this camera and microphone.

Purchased this webcam to video chat with family members in New England. Appears to interface OK with Skype. Setup was quick and straight forward. Cord length could be longer, by at least a foot. Easily clamps to my flat panel monitor. Sound through dual mics is very good. Can't say the same for picture quality, although crisp and clear. It's the color accuracy that suffers, and haven't found a way to correct it. Too much magenta. Other issue is a feature called 'follow my face'. When enabled the picture constantly zooms in & out, even when sitting perfectly still in front of the camera, very distracting. I disabled the feature. Does have some cool features that let's you replace your face with various software-supplied masks and generic photos. Not for me though. You can save user-profile attributes of gain, contrast, brightness, etc. I found the default settings are about as good as it gets regarding picture quality.Cost a bit more than I'd like, but overall satisfied with the device. I'd recommend it.

This camera is really nice, well built, and with a great image...With one exception. The white balance is not user-adjustable and is set to a very austere, greyish tint that sucks the life out of anyone. If you want to look like a zombie when talking to your friends. Buy this camera.

I like this webcam, I also have the Logitech 9000 another good webcam which I have on another computer. I haven't had a lot of experience yet with the C910 but it does take better videos and pictures, one thing I've learned from another reviewer is turn off the auto focus for both the C910 and 9000, I also don't use the right light feature which I believe the reviewer recommended too. Having a good webcam such as this allows the other viewer to see a great picture, a buddy I Skype with has a cheaper webcam and the quality on my end isn't as good, I've used both of my systems on a Skype call at the same time just to see how the video compares and the Logitech C910 and 9000 are superior.

Excellent quality. Great with Skype. Its software will not run concurrent with Skype, so it's (logitech's) software must be turned off first before using Skype. No complaints.

I don't know what all these poopheads are talking about. Plugged this thing in and it was working 100% without me having to do anything other than click through the install process.Running on Windows 7 64-bit. So all the ratings for this device that are 1-stars should be removed because they clearly don't know how to use their computers.

The webcam works as described. It was a simple setup...just plug it in and go. I did not even need to load up the software that was included with the product. I'm using it with the Skype interface and there are no problems. I'm using mine on a desktop and the USB cord could be longer...especially if you would like to move the webcame around. Other than that it has already brought me many hours of chatting with my two daughters overseas.

Arrived as promised. Downloaded latest driver from the website. Absolutely would not install. Troubleshooting suggested MSCONFIG file modifications for a "clean install". NO WAY was I doing that nonsense. Went to Best Buy and bought a MS HD1080 webcam on sale. The MS camera installed and worked within 10 minutes. True plug and play......beautiful picture and sound.When will Logitech update their Windows 7 drivers?.........Nice camera but would not work !!!!!! If they come out with an upgrade I may try to re-install in a couple of months. I had to manually uninstall the driver software as well.....NOT WIN 7 compatible yet.........

Camera is fantastic, good picture quality, works well with Skype. Recovery of movement is quick and definition is superior to other web cams I have seen. Love seeing my grandaughters this way.

Over all great product but....stand could be improved (Microsoft Cam got Excellent stand)Face-recognition - is only demo trail product - very disappointing, I bought it because of it + Rebate - otherwise Microsoft HD Cam is better.Video conference is not 1080p only 720p?

I decided to go for quality, even if it did cost a bit more, and I'm glad I did. I love being able to switch the quality to as HD or low as I like, depending on how my internet connection is at the time. The fun things (effects/editing) you can do with video and pictures is also neat. It looks sleek in design, it sets its own software up, and I had no problems using it at all. Some other video or audio devices can be turned off or pushed out of the way by it, but I don't mind as the quality is great. I'm hoping that it's durable as I have a very troublesome kitty that likes shiny things and knocking them over and all around my apartment. It has taken one spill so far with no damage.

Just love it. Picture is clear and people can see to the other side of the room behine me crystal clear. Really love video calls to my grandchildren and friends.
