This cam is the moxt life like cam i have ever used or seen even for that matteri have had a good dozen or more cams in my life time and this is by far the best!i am very very happy with this purchase!

Unlike a few reviews that have been written before, as a Mac user I find this webcam outstanding.The software provided does allow to do HD calls (Logitech Vid HD) from a Mac, but the calls I make with iChat and Skype also deliver an impressive quality to my friends. It may not be HD with those programs, but it still fares much, much better than the regular embedded webcam.Setting it up is... non-existant. You can download the program from Logitech's website while you wait for your UPS guy to deliver, you open the box and plug the USB in, and you're hot to trot. The image is excellent, and so is the sound.Great buy. 100% recommended.

I guess it depends on what you are using this camera for. For what I am doing, the cam zooms in, out and around but not smoothly. All I can say its ok!

Needed a web cam with a higher resolution and this one fit the bill...Works pretty well and the video is pretty crisp.

Length:: 0:20 MinsGot my cam today and had it installed in seconds. Not sure what happened but it went online and downloaded all the software on its own. I must have got in a hurry and clicked on something with out looking close enough. I was a little worried about that but I went ahead and let it work. I only had to uninstall a couple unwanted programs. It is really straight forward to use. I tried it over the monitor and sitting under the monitor and is plenty stable both places but when sitting it could stand to be secured in case it gets bumped. I replaced a Creative labs Live-Voice-Cam and this one it light years ahead. In the short video the room is very dark. Only complaint I have is its hard to clean the lens with out streaking.I have had very good luck with Logitech hardware before and that was a big part of this decision. A decision I am very glad I made

This camera does a good job when it comes to the quality of the video but, this camera has one major design problem. The problem is that the base of the camera is too light so that when you tilt it too far forward, the camera falls over. The way to fix the problem is by taping something heavy and small to the base of the camera to solve the problem. I have found the perfect thing to use. I have taped an ice hockey puck to the bottom of the camera. It gives it enough weight so that when you tilt the camera forward, it won't fall over. Also, since the hockey puck is flat on both sides, you can set the camera up on any flat surface with no problem. The hockey puck is small so it fits well on the bottom of the camera.

I do not think you can go wrong with the C910. Set up was less then 5 minutes from box to working using Windows 7.Works great with every server I have tried including Skype. The sound quality is excellent. Still pictures are at least as good as My Samsung 12MP camera and Videos are clear under any lighting conditions and change automaticly. Video quality is outstanding for a product in this price range.The cord length is niether to long nor to short for Desktop use. Another thing, many reviews have addressed is the need for a clamp to hold the C910 to your monitor or laptop securely. Reading the instructions and just a little effort will show the design of the C910 will hold it on your desktop or laptop just fine, using the design properly is the key.I think you will enjoy this product and as with all Logitech products I own I find it to be well made and highly functional.

This web cam performs very well and I'm very happy with it. Skype recognized it immediately and works fine with it. My Samsung monitor is a little thick and the placement of this camera on it is not that good. It is not the camera's fault for it, so I won't drop the number of stars for it. Audio quality is also good using the built-in microphones on it.

This is probably the best 1080P HD webcam you can get for the money right now, I love the fact that it does full 1080P and the onboard microphone does a fantastic job of recording audio. Also, I might use it as security camera, it's great.

I just bought the Logitech Webcam Pro 9000 2MP HD Webcam w/ Mic and used it for 4 months. I saw some reviews on this new camera and I just had to try it out. Well I am very pleased with the look of the camera and the blue led lights. The microphone on it is better and the picture quality is better as well. I have a fast computer so I do not know how much more stress this will put on someone elses system but the system requirements are higher.. I did not have any problems. You can find video reviews on this camera comparing it to others and for the money and quality you can't go wrong with this camera.

Is Logitech so desperate they need to save 50 cents on their top of the line Webcam Pro C910? They build a great web cam then put a MEASLY 4 foot USB cable on it! That length of cable can't go from the center of my desk to the desk corner cable holes and down to my PC tower. There should be at least an 8 foot USB cable on this WebCam as they had on their QuickCam Pro 5000 which I had to replace because it is not "compatible" with Windows 7. I had to spring for another $15.00 bucks for a USB extension cable and I feel Logitech has ripped me off so they could save 50 cents!

Please be aware that this camera still uses the UVC driver on Mac, even when you install the Logitech software. It will not support HD calling or recording in anything other than the Logitech software. Bria, Skype, VidyoDesktop, Facetime HD. The best that can be done in non-Logitech applications is about 480p@15fps (as far as I can tell), which is still pretty darn good quality. But I just want to make sure that people understand this before they buy, as Logitech's advertising doesn't make this clear.I hope that Logitech makes an actual driver for Mac in the near future.

I wanted to upgrade my old webcam, the Logitech Webcam Pro 9000 which was very good. So after doing some research about the newest version the C910 it offered more of what I was looking for and a higher pixel count than the 9000. I am glad I purchased this one, it is the cherry on top of my ultimate gaming rig I just built.

Great high quality picture/video/sound, big step up from my previous webcam which didn't even have a mic.Sits comfortably on my monitor and works seamlessly with skype/oovoo, and records pictures and videos at high quality flawlessly.

This Logitech C910 Webcam is a wonderful addition to my PC. I can see and talk to my grandson in real time and watch this boy grow and develop almost on a daily basis. We may be miles away, but it's like living next door. The picture is excellent (what I expected from a Carl Zeiss lens) and the sound is true and real. I acquired my C910 on-line trough Amazon, and the price was considerably lower than the suggested retail price - extremely reasonable. Thanks Logitech for a great product, and thanks Amazon for making this product available at a great price.

This product is maybe more than I needed. There are constant problems with people I want to vid chat with not hearing me or not hearing them - and I have removed and downloaded the program 10 times in a month to "reboot" it. It's frustrating. The online support, in a word, sucks. The FAQ's are grossly incomplete, evasive and vague. It is annoying to have to dowload other programs to use the camera and forcing your friends to DL the Logitech software to use the camera which is an imposition. Logitech doesn't like it when you want to use another video outlet. I'm sorry I bought this camera. I will replace it and probably just throw it out. Amazon performed well as always I just think Logitech could be better at customer support.It gets stars just for the the fact that it works well and the lens and mic are fine - WHEN it works. It's like dating a Supermodel and finding out she eats mashed potatoes with her feet.

For the mac users. I read through a lot of reviews and went to the logitech site before purchasing this unit. I'm running a G5 on 10.4.11. I've used it to call a few people and I have to say my image is clear as a bell. Can't say much for their image. Now I'm thinking maybe it's TOO clear! Who needs that extra pressure to look presentable for a webcamera? I haven't figured out the sound yet, I'm sure it's me not having it plugged in the right audio port and not the unit. I have a stand alone logitech microphone which works well with the unit.I may not get all the extra bells and whistles that the PC users get, but for right now, I'm impressed.Plus I got the rebate, so that took the sting out.

For those that gave it 1 star:I have windows XP pro and it would not work for about 3 days.Then I simply right-clicked the "my computer" icon on the desktop selected "properties" and when the system properties box appeared, I clicked "hardware" then "device manager"I found a yellow question mark/exclamation point in the list. I right-clicked it, selected update driver. It asked me to put in the software disk and within a few seconds it worked with no problems.Now with that out of the way, the product works fine.The sound is clear and the video function is superb even at the 1080p level.I'll probably do a video review as well since writing stuff is a lengthy pain!(Of course there will always be something better for every product...)

This is my first web cam. I checked out reviews and decided to spend a little more to get a better web cam. It was easy to set up and it has performed well. The cord that came with it was a little too short, but since I had read the reviews, I just purchased a 3' extention at the same time I ordered the camera. I searched for the product on Amazon and was able to save about $40 off of the regular price.
