This was certainly an upgrade to the webcam I was using with XP. Windows 7 would not support the older one so I bought this one. The picture is amazingly clear and sharp. The software is a plus and all in all, I feel this product is as good as it gets for my use.

I video conference with family members away at university. I use Windows. I have a Intel Ci7, Windows 7 computer with an HD display.This is a webcam upgrade for me. I have had a firewire webcam, used the Orangeware webcam driver with my DV camera, and had 2 prior Logitech USB webcams. I can only say WOW, this camera produces an amazing image.The webcam is not Skype certified. With it, Skype only broadcasts at medium resolution. My family members use netbooks with wireless g connections at university. I have read about a Skype hack to broadcast in full HD. However, that would exceed the bandwith of wireless g. Even in medium quality, the image as seen on the netbook is superb. However, wireless g bandwith is still inadequate, causing Skype sessions to close regularly. This rules out Skype.We next tried Windows Live Messenger to conference. This was more successful. However, my image on this end was pixelated and on the laptop, jerky.Bottom line, using this camera for video conferencing over wireless g to a netbook is marginal, at best.UPDATE --Both MSN Messenger and Sykpe released updated versions in October 2010. The new versions seem to be designed to adjust the video resolution based upon available bandwidth so that a computer to computer (over wireless) video call is no longer extremely jerky with this webcam. Although, Skype does report my bandwidth is insufficent over wireless and suggested switching to audio only. MSN Messenger also continues to drop the video call connections for an unknown reason. I am most pleased with Skype v.5 over low bandwidth connections.

This webcam was the one I was looking for. Easy setup, perfect software from Logitech....very good integration with all the leading messengers. The best part of this webcam is the dim light support.I switched off all the lights of my room...it picked up or followed my face because of the monitor's light falling on my face and it showcased it brilliantly. A very little grainy picture in almost no light support.Appreciate this product very much and would recommend to anybody.

This webcam works very well and has a very good image quality. The auto-focus makes it possible to do stunning macro shots, and the wide angle is great for video-conference: you have the choice to show a little more than just your face! It also works very well in low light conditions where other webcams usually fail... Sure this webcam is a bit more expensive than some others, but it is really worth the price.

I love this camera! The 1080p quality is superb, the face tracking works great, very nicely portable, sleek professional design. I use this for TelePresence Web-Conferences and everyone comments on how great the picture and sound are.

This is the best webcam so far. The sound is okay the video quality is amazing. Especially with bad lighting. I haven't used the 1080p feature but 720p is crisp and clear.

Well, being a Logitech product, i didn't think i was getting a freaking Hasselblad, but at least i thought i was getting the so-called "top of the line" with the c910....My usage is for a tight-quarters time-lapse rig. i.e.: STILLS. I dont do video, hence i am looking at the direct capabilities of the chip to deliver my pixels, not interpolated 'video'.This camera is all hype. I dont know how these corporate legal teams get away with it, but they lie. all the hype about "HD" and 1080p are a complete farce. This camera is native at 640x480, anything larger is interpolated by the cheezy Quickcam software.Ok really, when is someone going to make a decent USB cam? When will companies stop lying to ignorant consumers? (You will notice the product page touts this as an "HD" camera and 10MP Stills)Here is the e-mail from Logitech support, admitting the 640x480 native resolution:Response from Jonar A 12/02/2010 11:47 AMDear v,Thank you for your quick response.The native resolution of the Logitech C910 is 640x480 pix. However, you can change the resolution through the software.You can only change its resolution of the camera through its software.Sincerely,Jay-RLogitech Customer Support

This camera was very simple to install. It took less than 10 minutes to be up and running. My contacts on Skype have all commented that I appear to be in the room with them due both to picture and sound quality. This is an excellent camera and reasonably priced by Amazon.

I bought the webcam to use for skype as I don't have any microphone or cam on my desktop or laptop computer so this being connected with usb works great. I am installing it on my desktop that has Windows XP and I didn't have any problems installing it whatsoever. The video quality was great as advertised, my daughter who is in Spain right now and I skype to communicate with was amazed at the video quality. The stereo mics are plenty sensitive and reproduce sound pretty accurately. Overall I loved the webcam and it works just as advertised, the only downside in my particular circumstance is the cable that comes with the webcam is a little short for my desktop but other than that a great webcam.

Takes great pictures. The integrated uploading to facebook and other social websites is kinda cluttered. I don't use it so it doesn't affect me.

I've had mixed results with Logitech's products in the past, but this one exceeds expectation. It works seamlessly plugged into my Mac Mini or my Windows 7 deskop or laptop. Install the software, plug it in to USB when prompted, and it goes to work! Works with Skype, works with Camtasia Studio. The picture is really good, the mic works fine, even at a distance. I really like this product, and am glad I bought it.

Just wanted to say that the webcam came in two days.. very fast .. I did buy direct and I paid no shipping and handling .. the webcam works very well and is so worth every penny. their were two scratches on it but I did buy it used.. but I am very satisfied and I may order another one..

Well, I was almost going to write a negative review. Now I'm mainly writing this positive review to help others who might be having the same problem I was. I just bought this cam yesterday and it was working great in iChat, Photo Booth and Quicktime -- it's plugged into a MacBook Pro running 10.6.2. The image quality, as everyone has noted, is stellar even in mediocre lighting. The trouble was that every time I tried to start the C910 up in Yahoo Messenger or Skype the application would instantly crash. Oops. It looked like I was going to have to return the sucker, since I didn't find anyone else with my problem after doing some internet searches. I should now mention that I've used a little program called iGlasses for years to (mainly) control the brightness of my recently deceased iSight, and it has worked fine doing just that. Well, it turns out that iGlasses was causing the problem. I opened up iGlasses Manager and disabled the two problematic applications and restarted them. Problem solved! Luckily, the automatic exposure control on this cam works fine. So, to sum it up: This cam now works GREAT. It's light years ahead of my old iSight. I'm so glad I found the C910 and bought it instead of the Logitech QuickCam Vision Pro for Mac. This one even looks cooler.

the logitech camera works well with my mac and sound and picture quality are good. Works well with skype.just want to call out that the software(disc) that is sent with the camera is for PC'S...not for MAC.I wasted time trying to install the software which would not download, to find out when I called logitech that the software is for PC only. I would recommend this product.
