It's small and very handy. I had one before but I lost it and it was expensive. But I found it with a cheaper price. It works wonders while driving near facilities where law enforcement are located don't want to get a ticket for that

I got this blue tooth as a starter blue tooth for my Samsung Instinct HD. It works great with my phone and anywhere inside. The wind reduction outside is not so good. And for whatever reason it makes a weird static noise on the other end when used in the car. Overall, not so pleased with it.

It's comfortable however it seems that I need to yell for it to hear me say the word "yes". Also doesn't disconnect calls the easiest. But when talking people have no problem hearing me and I can hear them. The battery also lasts a long time before it needs charging. Overall, I like the product.

I am very pleased with the Jabra BT2080 Bluetooth headset. t fits my ear well is very light and comfortable to wear. The controls are well laid out and easy to use. The sound is clear both for me and for the person I am talking to with no static or sound distortion. With this quality and at this price I will be recommending this to my friends.

Small and light, comfortable, clear sound transmitting and receiving. And a nice price to boot. I've tried other hands-free speaker devices and they echoed or otherwise distorted the sound in both directions. This one works for me and is comfortable to wear. I'm buying another to replace the one that just got lost (can be a problem with a device this small!)

If you're new to Bluetooth headsets or if you're not a hardcore headset user, this is a really great headset for the money. First of all, I liked how it sits very flush along my face. Other headsets I've seen stick way out and make you look like a cyborg. Secondly, I found it REALLY easy to use. Jabra did a great job when it comes to laying out the location of the buttons. My previous headset had all the buttons on the face and I found that it was hard to find them and often ended up pressing the wrong ones. The BT2080's ANSWER/END button is by itself on the front face. The rocker type volume switch is on the top/side of the headset. It has a dedicated power button on the backside of the headset. On my old headset, I had to press the ANSWER/END button to turn it ON/OFF. Also the location and size of the power button means there is less chance that it will inadvertantly get turned on when its in my pocket or laptop bag. I also love the intuitive "Smart Display" icons. Press any button on the headset and the battery icon lights up either green or red to tell you how much talk-time you have left. The Bluetooth icon also makes pairing much more simple. Flashing blue means the headset is ready to be paired. Solid blue and you're connected to the phone and ready to talk. The first time I turned the headset on it automatically went into "pairing" mode and since I have a newer phone with BT v2.1 I didn't even need to enter the pin code. Another nice thing is that there are no lights on the front so when I'm driving at night, it doesn't light up the car every 3 secs. Finally, the headset was unbelievably comfortable. It has a super soft eargel and I found that the fit was secure enough that I didn't even need to use the optional earhooks (which is helpful since I wear glasses). Finally, in terms of call quality, it was pretty solid. However, if you make most of your calls in high-noise environments I would recommend a more expensive headset with noise cancellation. Bottom line: the BT2080 is a really solid, easy to use headset and a great value.

Pros:- Very lightweight- Comfortable- No flashing blue light to make you look like a cyborg- Standard micro-USB for charging- Decent battery life- Excellent phone call sound- Caller can hear you very well- Good button placementCons:- Crackles if not right next to you, even does it in your pocket- Mediocre quality on any other source like podcasts or musicTo that end, I thought I lost mine and bought a second because the pros outweigh the cons. I found my old one, so now I have two. I don't regret buying the second because I do like the headset.

The Jabra BT2010 headset is easy to use, and the sound is very, very clear. However, I have not been able to adjust the volume up or down while talking without accidentally disconnecting the call. I think they should be located away from the call start/end button. All in all, though, I would recommend this to a friend.

This bluetooth headset performs admirably for those who have the ears that will fit. Experience has shown me however, that the fit is nearly the most important feature. It's a shame I had to return this nice headset.PROS:- Excellent sound quality on both ends- Good battery life- Good build quality- Multiple charging options- Good looks- Vibrating alert- Multipoint connectionCONS:- Poor fit for some- Buttons hard to press- Shorter range than indicated- Poor instruction manualI have an old Logitech Mobile Freedom bluetooth headset I purchased nearly two years ago. With the upcoming law that prohibits the use of cell phones without hands-free devices, I needed a 2nd headset for our 2nd car. I figured I could leave a headset in each car and both my wife and I would always have a headset to use regardless of driver or car. I found out that my old headset does not support multiple pairings (Multipoint), but the Jabra BT5010 did. I was willing to use a specific headset per phone as the value of the BT5010 was worth the small inconvenience, but after a fair amount of use, had to return it.FITThis has to be the most important aspect of the headset, in my opinion. My old Logitech headset fit great, but did take some time to get used to. I was willing to give the BT5010 some time as well, but it never fit the way I felt was necessary. It basically only just hung on my ear. If I turned my head in either direction to check my blind spots, the headset literally flew off onto the floor. After flying off my ear a handful of times, I realized it was more dangerous for me to search for it on the floor board of my car than it was to just use my phone without it. It may fit some people's ears better, but I can't imagine who's. The hook is too rigid and short to properly loops around the ear and stay on. Poor design unfortunately.CALL QUALITYDue to the boom mic that slides out, my voice quality for the other person was excellent. I didn't try it with the windows down, but just driving my car around, I was told that they could not tell I was using a headset and sounded just as good as if I were not using a headset. I could also hear the other caller very well, even though the speaker did not rest entirely on my ear or rest in the ear canal.BATTERY & CHARGINGIt only took 2 hours to completely charge, which is half the time it takes for me to charge my Logitech headset. The battery life was more than enough for my use and the included USB charging cable was a fantastic added accessory.BUTTONSThere are 4 buttons total, which is one more button than my Logitech. It has a volume up and volume down button, an answer/end button, and a dedicated power on/off/pairing button. I found the buttons were pretty difficult to use. They just do not depress very well and you must have a good grip on the headset in order to actuate them. Given that the headset did not fit terribly well on my ear, it didn't take much for me to have the headset fall off while I was adjusting the volume or trying to use the answer/end button.INSTRUCTIONSThe manual is extremely basic and the quick start guide actually had incorrect directions. It took me about an hour to finally figure out how to get voice activation working, but could never get the hold function to work or turn off vibrating alert.MISCThe BT5010 headset feels very well made and the sliding boom mic glides smoothly. I could only get an effective range of about 15 feet before static would overcome acceptable use. On the positive side, it paired very quickly when in range and never lost the pairing, as my Logitech often does. Also, whenever I activated voice commands, the volume would actually vibrate the headset on my ear to the point it became uncomfortable. I would lower the volume and it would still vibrate and I'd have to turn the volume back up to hear the caller once the call connected.SUMMARYI rarely buy tech items on impulse, but I did on this occasion because of the great price I found the BT5010 for. It was almost a great purchase because the call quality and features are what I hoped for in my next headset. Unfortunately, it wouldn't stay on my ear. And what would be the point of having a headset if it was on the ground?

Let me start off by saying, this is only the second bluetooth headset I've ever owned and they've both been Jabras. I just bought one of these at a local retail store over the weekend. I was hesitant because the old one I had was plagued with the exact same problems this one has, so obviously I should've trusted my intuition and gone another way. The original Jabra bluetooth headset I had was one of their older, less expensive models which I figured was the reason I was having problems with it. The old headset would work great if I was in the car with the phone sitting in the cup holder next to me. I also had to be wearing the headset on the same side of my body that the phone was sitting so there was clear line of sight between the two devices. The minute I would get out of the car and put the phone in my pocket, it started crackling, cutting out, completely losing connection to the phone, and basically becoming a HUGE point of frustration for me. I figured bluetooth technology has to have improved by now so I went to the store and after looking at all of the available options, I chose the Jabra BT2080 because it looked the most comfortable, least bulky, and most cost friendly. I got the thing home, charged it overnight and began using it the next day and wouldn't you know it? The EXACT SAME PROBLEMS as the old model. Now keep in mind I used the old one with 4, yes four different phones of varying brands and models which I've had over the last 4 or 5 years since I bought the old headset, and every time the same result. This phone was no different so I figured it HAD to be the old headset. Nope! It seems like Jabra is the problem. I'm taking this stupid thing back to the store this afternoon and buying the Jawbone, which I should've bought in the first place. Never again Jabra, never again.

I was briefly looking at bluetooth headsets, looking for something smaller than this one. Nothing significantly smaller has come out yet. I've had this for over a year, and paid about $60 for it.A great purchase, one I'm quite pleased with a year later. Sound quality is great, and it streams music (lectures in my case.. I am an audiophile and wouldn't listen to music with one ear). People I've spoken to hear me well enough except in louder environments... like next to traffic.It looks... well... like a black thing sticking out of my ear. Bleh. No one wears these thinking they look cool... at least I hope not.I've never had trouble pairing it, its paired with all my bluetooth enabled stuff, one button operation for on, off, and pairing mode... and a seperate volume control. There may be other stuff these controls can do. I don't know. I read the manual, it was really simple and I've forgotten since.I can't speak for the Jabra service, as I'm sure my warranty has expired and I've never needed it.The design for the earpiece is an earbud with a flexible black loop. This is genius. It feels like its not gonna fit well, like its barely there. I can shake my head to the point it hurts, it doesn't come out. I take my shirt of while wearing it and it doesn't come out. Its never fallen out, even when I'm running to catch the bus.My ears follow the standard human deviation for ears, I assume, so while your fitting experiences may vary, it probably won't.

My husband passed this Jabra BT on the me when he replaced it. Being the first BT headset I've ever used, I initially was excited to have it, but that excitement has waned after using it for some time now. Here is my assesment of this headset:Pros: It has a good price tag. It's small and discreet; I can cover it with my hair. Easy to find and use button on the front for making and answering calls.Cons: The earpiece HURT my ear, so I had to move it from ear to ear until both ears became used to it. For a while I had two very sore ears! It still isn't very comfortable, but it doesn't hurt like it used to. Also, when putting it on, the ear piece would come loose from the holder and I'd have to remove the whole thing, reassemble the two pieces and put it back on. There apparently isn't any noise cancellation on it because if I have the air on in the car while talking to my husband he says it sounds like I have the window down. Short battery life...had to be charged every day.I'm by no means an expert on BT's, but there just has to be a better one on the market than this one. I'm going to rely on other reviews to choose one and hope I hit the jackpot!

Got the Jabra BT8040 with the EarGel adapter suggested under the "Frequently Bought Together ". Some bulk package versions of the headset come with one one ear adapter. So I thought I'd buy the suggested EarGel (3-pairs set) http://www.amazon.com/Jabra-1202-EarGels-Clear/dp/B00004WINT/ref=pd_bxgy_e_text_b . Turns out my headset comes with about 6 custom silicon adapters of different sizes. Some sellers say only the retail box version of the headset comes with extra silicon adapters.Now the EarGels I bought extra are really Jabra's brand universal adapters for Jabra's own headsets and they are good for a few headset models. They are bulky so I prefer the ones that come with the headset itself. So I turned out buying the extra EarGels that I did not need. You would want to somehow confirm with the seller what exactly comes with the headset itself.Functions: The noise canceling works well. Headset easy to pair. Once pair, it connects to the phone automatically in the future. Does not matter if both the phone and the headset have been turn off and then on again. As long as the headset is on and the phone bluetooth is hot, they connect again. Work quite well with voice dial (only if you phone allows voice dial). The 4-color light on it is informative once you get the user manual from Jabra's website to read about their meaning first. This is the second headset I have that does not require an ear hook. The last one was Bluespoon AX2. Both are snug. This one is a better one though. The bluetooth music works fine but is mono. So getting two of these will not get you stereo. The volume control has no clear marking which one is up and which is down. The manual is not clear wither. Just try them out to find out.

At first it worked perfectly. Then the double tap to redial stopped working as well as press and hold in order to activate the voice dial. Or actually the voice dial stopped first I think then the redial stopped working later. That was something I could live without though, but now in the fourth month, the answer button doesn't answer the call at all. It makes the beep sound but the call doesn't come over to the headset. I have to answer the call on the phone itself, so all it's good for now is to listed to audio. I had just bought some eargels for it which were cheap so its not a big deal. But the little thing just doesn't seem like its well made, and I don't know if I can depend on another Jabra headset. Also they have nothing on the website to troubleshoot the headset not answering calls!!! Obviously I cannot recommend this product at this point. Before this issues it worked good, but you can usually hear better than the person you are speaking with on the phone can hear you.UPDATE: I reset it according to their directions (which I didn't understand at first because I never even knew there were two volume buttons on top - I never read the manual of course) and it fixed ALL THREE problems! Updated to four stars only because of the low mic but that is to be expected really with how small it is.

I have tried several bluetooth devices and this one works the best and was the least expensive. I'm glad I bought it- it was worth every penny! Only one drawback- the ear hook (adjustable/removable) is only reinforced with metal halfway through the hook so if you aren't careful (you throw it in your purse or briefcase) it might break.... BUT you can purchase 5 earhooks from Jabra online (directly) for 9.99 so I gave this product five stars because it out performs motorola and plantronics (which I tried) for way less $$$$

I bought this Bluetooth at a Black Friday sale for $20. This is the second Bluetooth I've had. The first was a Motorola one and it worked great! It worked well with my Razr, my Blackberry pearl, my Nokia e71x and my Blackberry Bold. I heard Jabra was a pretty good brand so I was not hesitant to try it out. I bought it and went straight home to try it out. I can say I was a little disappointed. It sounds very scratchy like the connection isn't strong. To get a good reception, the phone has to be right next to you or an arm's length away, but even then, it has to be strategically placed in order to not have that scratchy sound. Other than that, it is VERY user friendly and it is very comfortable. I LOVE the Eargel part but it also comes with a hook for around your ear. Overall, since I only paid $20 I am not unhappy with the purchase. I would recommend this to a first time Bluetooth user. Hope this helps!

Not a bad headet, but one word of caution. The eargel is comfortable but will not last long. It breaks down quickly. The only replacement option from Jabra is a $10 headset kit, with 2 earloops and one eargel. This will get expensive! I called Jabra and there were no other options. If I had known this, I would not have bought it. I am looking for a 3rd party solution...if anyone knows of one.

The price is good, it is easy to set-up and very user friendly. It is not very comfortable to wear, so I do not recommend it to those people who wear their headsets all the time.One major flaw that I found (maybe it's true for all bluetooth headsets, have not tried others) is that when using it on my computer to make phone calls on Skype, it interferes with my other bluetooth devices such as my Logitech V470 mouse. Hopefully there would be a firmware update to fix this issue.

I was in search of a Playstation 3 microphone. When I typed in Ps3 mics in the search box, THIS item popped up along with mics that ACTUALLY were for PLAYSTATION 3. I liked the price of it, ASSUMED that because it came up UNDER Playstation 3 mics listing, that it actually WAS a Playstation 3 mic. Got the item today, but when I opened it, discovered it was for a CELLPHONE. Would REALLY like to know WHY this item is listed under Playstation 3 mics listing, if it's NOT A DAMN MIC FOR PLAYSTATION 3. Now since I opened it, I'm stuck with a bluetooth mic I DON'T ACTUALLY NEED OR WANT. Thanks for NOTHING.

I like the function with which I can hear the music and book reading with this headset as well. This is the only one with this function in the market in this price range.

I purchased this to use with my Blackberry Curve. As for size, it is small, unobtrusive, light and comfortable. The performance has been excellent. I get relatively clear sound out of it (though not perfect which is why I rated it only 4 stars), and have been told by my coworkers that they cannot tell the difference between when I use it and when I don't. I keep my phone's volume at about 50% and it proves more than adequate. The smaller of the two hook fits my ear perfectly, though it serves as primarily a reinforcement as the earpiece stays in my ear without it quite well. In addition to all the above, the charger is a micro usb, which seems to be the new standard for most cell phones now. Therefore, I can use the same car charger for my phone and my bluetooth if necessary. Overall, I found this to be an excellent value for the price I paid.

Is small and very light, the ear piece which goes into your ear canal is a bit big. The hook which goes over your ear is a bit flimsy but seems to hold most of the time. Mine came apart a couple of times but is easy to reattach. What I really did not like was the static during conversations. Also, I can only use it on one ear, but for the price it's really not a big deal for me. My friends and family complaint about it and urged me to get a new one. I'm using it with a LG 600G. At first I thought it was the Net10 service, which is bad in my area. But I tried it on my wife's Motorola Rarz v3 ATT and it had the same static problem. It's cheap but not worth not the price in my opinion. I just ordered a Plantronics Explorer 370 Ruggedized Bluetooth, hope is better. My wife has the Plantronics 330 and she loves it. For the short time I used her's on my LG 600G it worked well. I ordered a different model than her's so we won't confuse them. Last, I would like to mentioned that on my LG 600G the dialing pad cannot be heard while dialing, with the Plantronics 330 I was able to hear it.

the jabra bt 2080 is a great looking bluetooth and really light u wont even feel it in your ears but its performance is not that great.it says the battery last up to six hours talk time but its really like 4 to 5. u cant rally use when ur outside. if its windy your pretty much screwed u can barely hear people and they can barelt hear you. another good point its easy to install to phone or ps3

This is the only in-the-ear I've ever come across that stays put for me. It's strikingly tiny and lightweight. I have to echo what I've heard regarding the fact that it doesn't quite feel like it will stay in but somehow it just does. That minimal footprint translates into a fair amount of comfort as well. The battery life and sound quality for calls is good but not great. More than adequate for me and I should add that the range is outstanding. The ability to play music is nice and I find myself actually using it more than I thought I would. Music sound quality was a pleasant surprise. The buttons have received some criticism, but on a headset of this size I can't see any place to put them that would be better. It's so small and light that you're not going to be pushing a button anywhere that isn't going to move it. The fact that you have to push in towards your ear a little doesn't bother me and other than that the action is light and positive. This is not a Voyager 510, nor does it try to be. If you are looking for a tiny headset that works very well I don't think you're going to beat this one - especially at the price.

This is my first bluetooth, and I am very disappointed by this product. The fit is comfortable, but as the other reviewers have said, the phone must be close to the bluetooth to not have a scratchy sound. I have had difficulty when I reposition the device on my ear. By accident, I mute the calls or turn them off. I am very frustrated with this item.

If I put my phone in my shirt pocket it starts crackling and breaking up. There is less than 3 feet of distance there. That is unacceptable. It earns a star for being so comfortable. Not very useful because the phone has to be right it front of it to work. What is the point of having a wireless headset and having to hold your phone on one hand so they have line of sight? Totally disappointing.

the good:it connected to my phone so easily and quickly!the USB cord is good (especially since I somehow lost the AC cord 3 days after I got it)the plug is the same as my Motorola phone so I can use my same car charger (also good since I lost my AC adapter)the directions are very easy-I have a Plantronic, which is good, but the directions are so silly to remember I have to carry the manual around)it is lightweight and comfortablethe lights are a good ideathe bad:it is a bit too lightweight and feels flimsythe use time is way shorter than my Plantronicthe ugly:the plug is very hard to put the cords in and out and I'm afraid it will snap off

This bluetooth is one of the best ive used and its a steal since its on sale for under 15 bucks. I ordered this bluetooth to use with the ps3 and everyone can hear me very clear. Its lightweight and it automatically starts off in auto pairing mode when opened. The only problem is that it needs a better earpiece with the bluetooth. Overall, this is an awsome bluetooth. Its a must buy!!

Sure the price is right but the quality of the BT125 is right in line with the cost. I purchased this for use with my PS3 and the earpiece snapped after the third use. It's supposed to be bendable to fit around your ear properly but it wore out and snapped right where the bendable part meets the harder plastic that is connected to the earpiece. The headset itself worked great, but if I can't put it on my ear it doesn't really matter. Spend the extra money and get something a little better quality, you'll end up doing so anyhow...

Very good headset. So comfortable I sometimes forget I have it on. I use it with Dragon NaturallySpeaking (voice recognition) to dictate documents and e-mail and it works great. Only concern is that I got an OEM version without all of the ear pieces and sometime the set will loosen and almost fall out. On the other hand the price was extremely good. I also use it with my iPod Touch (because it is A2DP) to listen to music, podcasts and audio books. You can control the iPod's volume and can mute the sound but can't pause the music or skip tracks. It has good sound and very good range. The headset is the only one I know of that is a single earpiece stereo (i.e., both channels are blended together) headset, which is pretty cool.

I purchased this as a replacement for a motorola h700. I needed something that has a higher volume level. The jabra accomplished this quite well. I don't need any features beyond a button to start and end a call and volume control so this is all I have tried to use. I dont know how well it would work with voice dialing or anything like that. I use a razr phone. I have noticed some crackling and occasionally a few missed words but it was likely caused by a low battery. I dont know if I was driving through someplace with bad cell reception or what. I also noticed that while I get in my car if I stand next to it and talk to somebody with my body partially in the car it will drop the signal. It seems that it only takes a little sheet metal to cut the signal. I don't have a problem with this as if I am using my bluetooth I have my phone in my pocket or in my hand so if the signal doesnt go through walls well it doesnt bother me. I also think the comfort is good. I have larger than average ears and find that I can keep it in my ear comfortably indefinitely. I have had it in my ear for as long as 8 hrs with no comfort issues.

I bought this on a black friday sale and was very excited about the way the earbud fit (I didn't even need the hook) but if I had the heater on in my car or even the radio on low the other person couldn't hear me at all. The employee I talked to at best buy while I was returning it said that is the kind of feedback they have consistantly received.
