This fit and worked like a charm. Purchasing the whole assembly made this job a lot easier. Don't forget to keep track of the washer from your old assembly, you will need it. I would also purchase new screws with this as well, even if your old ones still look intact.

the husqvarna hu22054 54 inch high bagging blades are a great blade has more vac power than other blades very pleased with the blades. will get another set when needed.

I've had the belt for a month now, it is functioning properly. It has a long way to go to match the one I removed from my Husqvarna, it lasted 8 years under the most extreme conditions,it seems to be a quality product and I would recommend it to others seeking replacement belts.

I ordered a Husqvarna spindle assembly but all I got was the spindle housing. I needed the item immediately. Luckily I had not thrown out the old assembly and was able to take the bearings and mandrel out and put them in the new housing.

Bought these blades to replace Sears stock blades that wore out very quickly. New blades are holding up very well. Easy to install and were balanced on receipt.

This spindle is an excellent quality replacement part and fits pefectly. You do not need special self tapping bolts since regular machine-threaded 5/16 X 1 1/4 (or 1 1/2) bolts will easily tap themselves into the aluminum bolt holes. You can add some oil or silicon lubricant and it will be very easy to accomplish. (Plan on wringing off the old bolts when removing the old spindle because they will be permanently seized. So, stop by the hardware store and pick up some new bolts and a flat washer for each.)

This mower has all the power needed to cut and bag long heavy grass. It is a bit dirty cutting very dry lawns. Everything gets covered with dust, including the operator. Possibly solid bags might not be quite as dirty. I have solid grass catcher bags on my other mower which is cleaner to mow with although it plugs up occasionally.

this was shipped unfinished as the bolt holes were not threaded and I had to use a tap and die threader to make them work. that was faster than sending it back and waiting for a replacement. First problem i've ever had ordering from Amazon and not really their fault either

It seems likely enough that I'm still here and in one piece today because I was wearing these. I did, after all, take a good swipe at my leg with a big chainsaw with a new chain. And look! I'm, again, still here! They're easy to get on, made of some serious stuff, they're cute, soft, fuzzy and warm and they give all of those feelings to the wearer.
They have a nifty tool pocket. Of course, these are for use with a chainsaw and the pocket is entirely inappropriate for use with tools associated with chainsaws like, say, a chain wrench. In fact, if you put one in the pocket then you are likely orienting it so that the blade is pointing at your femoral artery. Very poor design choice on their part.
The chaps clip on easily with 5 plastic buckles - waist and then 2 sets for each leg. The buckles and straps on the legs are not appropriate for that use as the straps come loose by themselves, pretty quickly, and the chaps migrate around your legs (don't stay in front where needed). The looseness of the chaps from the first issue make it more likely that you're going to injure yourself rather than less.
The front of the chaps is doubled and super-protected with all kinds of layers of stuff until just above the knee. There must be a good reason for that but I don't know what it is. I nicked the chaps in the only place I've ever nicked protective chaps - on my upper thigh. Good thing, for me, that there is still some (single layer) protection there.
So wearing these is much better than wearing nothing but the design is so woefully bad that they should be removed from the market by the manufacturer and destroyed. 2 stars 'cause I'm still here. No more 'cause you really should not buy these.

I have a newly established lawn at a newly built home, and due to the small yard, a reel mower would be just right. Growing up using a reel mower, I loved the beauty of the cut. Old reel mowers had two important parts, the blades, and the roller in the rear that smooths it all out. I never saw it cut, because the roller fell off in the box. Instead of being made of rubber or wood, it was hollow plastic with one of the attachment ends broken off. For this reason I returned it.

This was a perfect mechanical fit for my Craftsman 5400GTS. My only issue was that the mounting holes were not threaded for the four mounting bolts. Fortunately I have a full tap and die set, so threading the housing was not a problem. However, if this was going to a novice DIY-er without many shop tools this would have made a big problem. Nowhere in the listing do I remember it saying you had to thread the holes your self. I bought two units and both were the same. Other than that, it works perfectly. Would highly recommend as long as you have the right size tap for your mounting bolts.

I have the Sears version of this mower. I have about 3 acres of lawn and have about 1000 hours on it. While I have had part failures, I have found many web sites that have replacement parts at much better pricing than Sears Amazon being one of them.
Tractor is stable on hill sides and has ample power to pull a utility trailer or cut over grown grass. Filling the tires with water greatly improves traction.

Mowing along on hot spring day and BANG, hit a rock. the same rock you threw out of the garden just days before. Bent blades , replaced them . Still vibrating. Bent mandrel shaft, Ordered this unit and fixed the mower. This mandrel is the exact fit as what came off the mower, not a thing different. Perfect, back to mowing. 2010 Craftsman 26HP 54" deck.

The "zoom" picture is very clear... unfortunately that's not what you are buying. These are blue, not long enough, and are not full wrap as the pic suggests. I would have spent another $20 for the added safety and length of a sized, full-wrap set. The three stars are because I believe these would stop my 562xp before it did any damage. I haven't been foolish enough to test it yet. These will make a fine spare set for a friend or helper shorter than 5'10"... or an oops pair to leave in the truck. I'll keep 'em, but I feel a little duped. I'll buy a different pair, but it won't be here.

Purchased to replace a spindle on my Husqvarna 54" mower. Perfect fit. No problems with install. Have read other reviews stating that you had to drill and tap the mounting holes. The spindle I received had the holes already tapped and came with the mounting bolts. Highly recommend this product.

I live in washington DC and we have tree boxes that are just too small to justify the purchase of a gas or electric lawnmower. This worked so well that I ended up mowing my tree boxes (3' x 6' rectangular areas) and several neighbors! It is very manageable in terms of weight and size. When the grass was more than 4 inches or very thick crab grass, I needed to push over in spurts or start on a higher level and repeat to get down to 1/2 inch heights that I like. Its so easy! It get in tight areas light around trees and light posts so very little "hand trimming" required. Also, I have one tree box with a tree with large roots in it and it actually held its own did the job! Amazon.com was the quickest to deliver... steer away from companies that do not stock them! I waited 1 1/2 months before going back to amazon.com and for $10 more, I got it right away. Easy to assemble... almost a joke.

Replaced a broken mandrell housing on my Craftsman 54" mower deck. This item is a time saver and exact replacement for Mandrell Housing P/N 187281. It is the complete mandrell assembly (housing, bearing, spindel shaft, zirc fitting) ready to install. For the price difference between this item and the Sears Craftsman Mandrell Housing (P/N 187281) alone, you cannot go wrong. If you believe you need only the housing, think about the tools, labor, and time required to break down the old one to install those piece parts on the replacement; hoping the spindle shaft is not bent, the bearing is not defective, or some other piece part is not damaged for which you will need to order replacements.

I replaced all 3 of the mandrels at once. Arrival was very quick! One of the 3 arrived with a damaged grease zert, not a big deal as they are available everywhere. They are drive in not screw in btw. The 4 mounting holes are not threaded. Be prepared for that with either thread cutting type bolts or a tap. No way to know what kind of life I'll get out of them yet but they seem fine.

I mow more than 3 acres. Despite all my efforts to remove the rocks from my yard, they always manage to reappear during the next mowing cycle. I guess the bigger your yard the more mover blades you buy.

I brought this to use while our church went on a mission trip to Ala. after the tornadoes and to use for personal use at home. This is a quality stuff at a good price. Perfect for what I needed. I was surprised at the quality after receiving it. The fasteners were different from the picture but work great. They are plastic snap type, adjustable, similiar as seen on many items these days (ie: luggage, etc). They fasten around the waist and around the legs. A friend had me order him the same thing and he was satisfied also.

I have gone through several belts during the last 5 years. You can buy better belts but in my opinion the extra cost is not justified.

These blades are a perfect replacement. These are made of heavier material than OEM , and the price for 3 is less than one (1) blade from Sears. I'm going to order a spare set to have on hand just in case I find one of my hidden obstacles.

Plain and simple the photo of the item your interested in, should be the item your getting, unless otherwise stated. This item pictured is a set of wrap around pant chaps that look very black. The set you get is the standard front chaps that are bright blue. The photo needs to represent the item you're actually selling. As of this month 6-2011 these are actually sold by a third party that charges a 20% restocking fee for all returned items. You've been warned!

I purchased this at Lowes and immediately had problems. The white paint on the controls washes off with gasoline. After a while parts started coming loose. I called the company with no results and tried to get a response on-line. They don't respond. Interestingly enough I then noticed that the Sears version had raised numbers where mine had washed away.

this is a nice made belt, but it was the wrong Size. I have a Craftsman 54" mowing deck, but this belt was too small. I had to get a different one. So make sure to check the part number that your tractor needs and do not just rely on the fact that it is a 54" deck, and even close in size. The belt I needed was just about 1" longer.
I did get the belt fast, would have been great if it was the right size, but that was my fault not theirs.

These chaps are light and the clips are perfectly placed to keep them from moving about while you are working. They are easy to snap on and off, but the clips are not impact resistant nylon, rather some cheaper brittle plastic that broke when one of my splitting wedges fell from my hand and hit the buckle as the chaps lay on the concrete floor of my shop. I've retrofitted some higher quality waist belt clip on them now and am very pleased. My chain saw muffler melted some of the cordura nylon protective cover and I can see the kevlar weave behind this blue nylon shell and so now I can say the kevlar fabric appears to be of good quality and there is a rip stop thread row ever 1/8". Working in the field has shown them to be very reassuring cheap insurance for me and thanks to their excellent fit and verified fabric quality will keep them on the must have list

Mandrel Assembly for 48" deck Craftsman mower / Same high quality parts at almost 50% off the Searsdirect price ($26.23 vs $51.44)/ Plus their ground shipping is almost always overnight, because they are less than 200 miles from my location / I could have saved a couple dollars from a competitor back East, but it would have taken a week to arrive & the grass would be a foot taller by then

This is a good quality replacement for a Sears or any other mower that it may fit.
I have used it for a couple of seasons now with no problems. Just make sure that you keep them greased on a regular basis.
