I have a fairly large piece of land that has to be mowed at least once a week during the spring and summer months. Mower blades take a beating and have to be replaced once or twice a season. These blades are good quality, the seller offered them at a great price and they shipped them quickly. It's hard to ask for anything more. I will not hesitate to use the company again to order more blades.

when you look for blades for your 54 inch mower, you assume that you are talking about a set of 3 blades. I actually saw a set of
three blades in Cal ranch for this price so I did not realize that you would only be buying one blade for the 17.00. This indicates that you would be paying more then 50.00 for a set of three.

My 46" Ariens/Home Depot mower was assembled with loose mounting bolts or they loosened easily, which elongated the mower deck holes and cracked an ear off the factory spindle (the other spindle was also loose, but had not broken yet and was salvageable). Then I must have hit a rock, causing the rest of it to grenade.

After drilling through part numbers used by Ariens for their crappy mowers, I found this part was the same as my Ariens part number. I'd assume that means it's the same quality, but it turned out to look a little more stout, and greasable. I'm on two years and plenty of rocks now, with this spindle holding up just fine. I recheck the mounting bolts frequently due to the original parts coming loose. This one has never needed re-tightening.

Most of this mower is plastic. Even the frame is plastic so I had expected the handle to frame connection to break in a short time. Well something in the reel/cutter bar assembly broke first. The blades are hitting the cutting bar at one end. Nothing is loose or seems out of alignment that I can fix. The mower was purchased at Loew's only 60 days ago.

Right out of the box it never cut well. Even in the light autumn grass I have to make two passes. The first cuts about 30% of the grass. With the grass now bent down into the return pass, about another 65% is cut the second time. The blades do not seem to turn fast enough which is probably why it is so easy to push. Too low of a gear ratio I think. So that is two verrrry slow passes and about four times as long to do the job as it should take. I remember the Scott's mower I used as a kid 40-50 years ago. It cut perfectly as I ran as fast as I could push it. It outlasted my growing up. Not the same kind of engineering or workmanship here.

So it broke halfway though what will probably be the last mowing of the season. I planned to research a better mower over the winter. Guess I will have to start looking now.

This was as close as to what I was looking for. I wanted a "Sand Blade" or "low lift" blade due to the fact that we have a lot of sand in our soil (and a gravel road) and I DO NOT bag the clippings. A "Sand Blade" is usually flat (no bend up to the back of the blade) and heat treated for hardness. It will last longer. But... these blades are hardened, so it may do...

Belt is excellent quality and costs 1/3 compaired to Sears. Fast shipping and good packaging. Will buy again when this one wears out. Belts don't last forever, but this replacement belt looks high quality, should last at least two seasons mowing 8 acres once a week in the summertime.

I have a Craftsman heavy duty 52 inch wide riding lawn mower/tractor. One of the three blades was cracked from hitting a rock. I ordered this replacement and was thrilled when it was delivered. It is very heavy, and the steel appears to be superior to the original blade installed by Sears Craftsman.

I live in the country on two acres. Almost all the grass on the property is native, and so grows at different rates and thicknesses. However, after I make a pass over the yard with these blades, it looks uniform and neat. These are the best mulching blades I've seen and the only drawback they have is that the grass needs to be fairly dry for them to work at their best

Theese blades fit perfitly nd mow the grass cleaner and shorter then regular blades. I usually mow with setting on 3, now I mow with setting on 5 as these blades suck the grass upward for a cleaner cut.

I had to guess at the installation because the package came without assembly instructions. The seller could not provide instructions and I could not find them online anywhere. The blades are easy to figure out--a direct replacement. But the cover has straps and it takes a little experimenting to make them work.

I have purchased something like four of these in the last year or two and I can hardly get one on or off without breaking it. You either break the bolts off or break the lobes off that receive the bolts. I like the grease and bearings, no problems there, but the aluminum and bolts are just terrible.

These blades are great. I tried some other "mulching" blades and found that my mower was choked by grass and dirt. These blades work wonderfully. My wife used to say that our property looked like a park after I mowed it. Now she says that it looks like the fairway of a golf course. I am usually the toughest customer there is, but these blades are the best I've seen.

I have a Husqvarna YTH2348 (48 inch deck). Needed to replace this part and it fit perfectly. In my case, a string from a pine straw bale had worked its way up over the bearing seal and wore it out....grease went and so did the spindle/bearing. The part fit perfectly and was an easy install. Pay attention to the washer on top of the spindle...it can be lost if you aren't careful. It goes under the pulley when it is reinstalled. Grease the assembly up and you are ready to go.

I have only had this mower for a short time which does not call for a true review. But will update as time goes on. One thing i did notice about it right off was it was much quieter than my other riding mower which is a 15 HP Yard Machine. I know yard machine is not a top of the line mower but it has done well over 7 years i have had it. Another thing i like about the Husqvarna YTH2042 42-Inch 540cc 20 HP is you can hook up the water hose and wash under the deck with it. One thing about washing the deck after you cut your yard is to let the mower cool down for at least and 1 hour to 1 and half hours after cutting your yard because of running cold water on it might cause problems with the spindles . Cold against hot could warp them. If you have a band new Husqvarna riding mower change the oil the first time after about 5 hours of mowing. No need to change the oil filter at this time. Ck your manual for the proper time to change oil filter. Just read the book. I would have given it 5 stars but have only had it a short time as i mention at the start of this review. This was a perfect fit for my 52" rider. just needed to get new bolts for mine bc they broke as well!! :{. but for your money's worth, this is cheaper then anywhere else! roughly a 1/3 of the price you wld pay at local dealer!

I bought these as a replacement set. I've not installed them yet, but they appear to be what originally came on the unit and should serve the purpose. I had the mulching blades, which work well with leaves and small twigs, but their murder on grass. These should work just fine as they are designed for grass.

red green used to say that if the women don't find this handsome, they should at least find is handy. And you probably shouldn't be doing any real chain sawing without a pair of these on – especially if you're cutting stuff off of trees and whatnot. They only take a second to slip on and they can keep you the heck out of the hospital. And if you're not a cowboy – which you probably aren't – this is basically the only time you get to wear chaps outside of the bedroom. So strap them on, stay out of the hospital, and get the work done because women find handy hot.

These manderals work pretty good. I typically go through 1 a year do to my uneven and rough yard. the price makes these a good buy. It would be nice if the casting was a little stronger but the OEM units fail just as easy.

These are not what I received. The chaps I got had a belt attached and are a one piece design. I had a pair of the ones that are displayed in the picture and I loved them. The chaps I got are more restricted when moving around.

This mower came in a giant wooden grate. Took about an hour to remove packaging but only a few minutes to get it running/cutting. I enjoy using it, it starts very quickly and cuts the lawn well. I miss one feature that my previous rider had - foot pedal for forward/reverse. This model uses a hand control that is taking some time to get accustomed to.

People still drop their jaws when they find out that this thing got delivered to my house for FREE! I did a lot of research on an economical, name brand rider and this one came back with stellar reviews on all of the websites that I checked out. The hardest part of the setup was taking it out of the full wooden box and breaking down the double pallet it gets delivered on. The item itself is a breeze. Read the directions, put in some gas and let 'er rip! We have a fenced in 1/2 acre and I mow the whole area in 30-35 minutes tops. Most of my time is spent trimming after the fact. You can get close with this mower, but still leaves 1-2 inches of the long stuff around the house/fence lines. The cup holder is a nice addition too.

The replacement blades for our Husqvarna Garden Tractor arrived quickly and packaged well. They fit and the replacement of the old blades only took a few minutes. This is the second or third set of these blades that we have purchased and they seem to last much longer than some of the other brands that we have used.

This is my second spindle. My first was a different type and had no grease fitting. Many people said that with new technology one wasn't needed but it didn't last long. So we will see how long this one works but then it is getting grease were needed.

I've started mowing several family members' lawns and a push mower was getting old. This little tractor is just what I wanted. No frills, a beer holder, and it'll do a wheelie!

Mows nice. Though, it will scalp the lawn if you go past setting 4. I have to keep my lawn low otherwise the snakes come out quickly.

I bought it when it was on Prime, which saved me a ton of $$ on shipping! However, the crate was absolutely destroyed in shipping. The shipping company, CIVA, is horrible. They "didn't have time to ship" the tractor to me. One call said I had to come get it. One guy said it was lost.. etc. I ended up contacting Amazon and asking for their muscle in the situation. The rep from Amazon must have said something, because the tractor was there THE NEXT DAY.

All around, great tractor.
