It's a good product and we have enjoyed scanning and putting the old photos on a thumb drive for future reference. A good product for documents and very easy to use.

I found it real easy to use, the User Manuel that comes with the software breaks it down to just about anything you need to do. I was impressed by how well it is made, once again Epson you have out done yourself, Thank you

Overall I like the product. The major problem I have hade with it is the Digital Ice Technology. I have to turn off the scanner and program from time to time to get it to work again. I get a communications error. Again I like the product and for the price it does what I wanted it to do.

Epson has always impressed me with their copiers, printers and scanners. This, I believe, is their best effort yet. I am a photographer and have a large library of slides and transparencies. This scanner is fast and has a high resolution that compliments the original negative or transparency. Plus, I can set it to a lower resolution for quick scans of papers or forms that need to be e-mailed. A versatile tool for any working photographer...

Tried this with Mac and very hard to figure out. Switched to my PC and it did everything and was awesome coping year old slide presentation.

I had a V500 and needed something new for the extra couple bucks I couldn't resist upgrading to the V600 I scanned 125 slides in about 20 minutes, may have gone faster if I didn't keep stopping to talk. I would highly recommend this to anyone, I used it to scan slides, film and negative sent to me for my BaltimoreCityPoliceHistory.com site and it did not let us down. I am often sent pics for the site, now I can take anything our readers have to offer. If you need a film or slide scanner this is the one for you

Purchased the Epson V600 for transferring slides and old photos to digital. I transferred over 500 slides in a couple of sessions. The V-600 performed great. The included software installed without an issue and performed beyond my expectations. I have another Epson All In One, it also performs as expected. BUY EPSON, IT JUST WORKS.

I've now processed several hundred pictures and slides into .jpgs with excellent results. It doesn't take long to figure out how to scan and fix the results and I am very pleased with it's operation. Download the instructions and get started. I have yet to try any of the advanced features as the basic home setting works so well.Recommended.

Great negative and reflective scans. Has all kind of user adjustments for incremental settings. Scans so much faster than my Scanmaker IV that I thought it wasn't working right. Love it, Love it, Love it. Oh wish it would scan 4x5 negs like my old scanner...sniff.

This isn't you Dad's scanner!The built in Digital Ice program is very effective.But it is not perfect in certain instances.I suggest you at least have a bulb duster to help eliminate those small dotsthat the eye doesn't see, before scanning.

Have only had the scanner a few days, but we tried scanning a picture, some slides, some negatives, and a book. They all scanned very nicely, relatively quickly and with wonderful results. I look forward to using it. My boxes of old photos, slides and negatives are waiting.

I love this scanner, it scans directly into my computer, and I love how it fixes the color on the faded pictures, and you don't have to roll your pictures into the machine like the other scanners I recommended to everybody.

I set this up and was scanning in no time (Windows 7). I am scanning old slides that my grandfather made as far back as the 50's. I used the dust removal and color auto-correct and the scans came out crisp and clean. I also have another printer attached to this computer and do not experience any issue/conflict with the printer/scanner. So - overall - very happy with the purchase.

Ex wedding photographer. Scanning Hassy negatives as I want to get back into doing weddings.The scanner is doing a wonderful job scanning the 120 negatives. I wish it were a bit faster but I am very pleased with the unit.I would recommend to others.

I have been waiting to review this after completing my project. I have scanned over 3000 negatives: old B&W's, 35mm, and yes.....126 instamatic. It did take me a while to figure it out, and it can be time consuming, but it does work! The only negatives I could not scan were 110. Those I took to Sam's Club. The quality of this scanner is great.....it does produce vivid images. Only a few times, did I have to go in and use Photoshop, but that was due to my condition of the negatives. For 126 negatives, you must use the Professional mode, choose 48 bit color, 600dpi AND digital ice. Then select preview on normal....do not use thumbnails. You will have to crop each frame before scanning but it does come out very nice. It's much cheaper than sending all your negatives out and paying $1 a frame to have them converted. I am very pleased with this product

I had problems getting this to scanner to work with my new computer for about 6 weeks. The scanner/computer would lock up, and I would have to re-open the scanner to use it again. I believe through trial and error of trying to mend this problem, it finally was fixed....and works fine now.

Have a bunch of slides and various-sized photo negatives my mother left behind that I wanted to scan into digital pics. Also do a lot of scanning to convert documents into editable text. My research narrowed down to epson v600 or canoscan 9000f. Both about same price. I finally decided on the epson because it can convert scanned text directly into microsoft word documents, whereas canonscan output is in notepad format and you have to convert to .doc (which is easy enough right within the notepad options -- but it is an extra step). Have scanned my mom's slides & negatives and it was easily done and I'm quite satisfied with the results & like the photoshop software that comes with it for any final touch-ups. Scanning documents is also easy and fast. Very satisfied with my epson.

I was a little worried when Amazon shipped it with only the box it was in. But nothing was damaged and everything worked great. Everything installed immediately and I was scanning within 15 minutes of opening the box. I had an older Perfection scanner that was over $400.00 a few years ago. But this scanner has better resolution and is a lot faster with more functions. I've had it now for about six weeks and have scanned negatives, slides and documents. I've had no problems at all. The resolution on the negatives and slides is a lot better than I thought it would be.
