I had in the past a Photo size Epson printer but the ink dried out and it stopped working. This will not happen with this dye sublimation printer. The picture quality is great. Image does not smear and is water proof as soon as it comes out of the printer. This Selphy model contains the power supply as well as the paper so it is always ready to print with minimal hassle.I am printing from my Windows computer and Picasa and operation is straight forward (make sure to install the printer driver though).Make sure to get the correct Slephy cartridges for this printer (there are at least two kinds, one is compatible and one is not). I am using E-P100 from Amazon (less than 30c per pic).Note that when it prints, the paper comes out and then turns by 90deg. This is normal, not a paper jam. Actually it is fun to watch. The paper then goes in and out the printer few times and you see how the images is built using layers of color.Excelent product overall. Highly recommended.

I brought this printer 4/6/11 and I use it to do even photography, where I need to print pictures out on the spot at a club, and the pictures come out to magenta or brown and I tried to adjust my camera in many ways and it doesn't change. They really dont have adjustments on the camera to really help you use it and they really dont have controls that are user friendly. The picture quality is horrible and I would rather, as a professional, step up and pay the money to get what i really need. So I am taking it back to the store I brought this from and return it and get my money back.Personally I dont like the unit and wouldn't recommend it to anyone, but every need is different.

Makes excellent pictures. Like all such printers, have to keep in mind that photos will be cropped slightly on their long side. Fun to watch printer work, as it pulls paper through repeatedly and adds each color, and finally a clear-coat finish. Takes about 45 sec. per print, so not the best choice for high-volume jobs. Very pleased with purchase.

I had loved my little Canon CP 200 card photo printer when it crashed after about 8 years. ( A call to Canon confirmed that I should replace...photos were coming out light-blotched). This new printer is about the same only better. Uses the same ink and paper but I can insert memory card instead of connecting to camera although to use editing features like red eye reduction and trimming you have to connect the camera. This is so simple and compact and price was right. (79.95)

Pros - The image quality of this printer is fantastic. The fact one doesn't have to worry about ink cartridges drying out between usage is great.Cons - And to me a very BIG issue is the fact you cannot select the area of the photo to print or crop ending up with chopped heads or portion of the photo you'd really like included but is cut off (if using borderless). At first I was able to use Photoshop Elements to crop my image saving the file to a Compact Flash card or USB Flash drive and then printing on the Selphy. For some reason the second time I sat to print off new photos, that stopped functioning as the printer will not recognize the files saved after cropping. Nothing's changed.....using same camera and following same steps in Photoshop Elements saving the exact same way. Talk about frustrating!Another con - The bordered selection will capture everything but the border is uneven around the photo. For some that might not matter but to me it does.

There is nothing difficult about this printer. Unboxing and set up was easy. The software, unlike with many printers, isn't overly bad (even on a Mac), and the print quality is fantastic. The fact that it comes in a small form factor is a bonus. Yes, the replacement cartridges aren't cheap, but they are worth it for the results. I would buy one again.

I have loved my Selphy CP400 photo printer as it allowed me to print excellant photos. I even purchased 2 of the CP510 and gave them to both of our sets of parents. I had to upgrade my laptop and it has Windows 7 w 64-bit as it's operating system. CP400 does not have any drivers for Windows 7 64-bit. The CP800 uses the exact same paper/ink/cassettes as the older units (400, 510)so at least I am able to continue to use the postcard (4X6) and card (credit card size)paper/ink that I already had purchased. You cannot print 4x8 paper/ink with the CP800, as that size has been discontinued. I had a battery, also, and that, too works with the CP800. I just wish I hadn't had to purchase a new unit as my old unit still worked perfectly. I will not be upgrading our parent's units, though, even though they, too, are upgrading their computers.

After reading other reviews on Amazon, I decided to purchase this printer for my home. I'm really not sure why everyone is so hung up on the power cable being white - I don't find it to be a big deal, and it really doesn't have any affect on how the printer works. This is the second dye-sub printer I've owned, and I think they're WAY better than ink jet for photos. The print quality is just as good as prints you purchase from your local retailer. Yes, the per-print price works out to be a little higher when you print them with this printer, but there are times I'm willing to pay for the convience factor. And really, unless you're printing hundreds of photos per year, you're not going to notice the cost difference.Amazon's and Canon's product description is accurate. This printer works exactly how I expected it to. All in all, I'm very happy with this purchase.

There's not a lot to say. Open the package, insert it "ink" cartridge (dye sublimation process, not liquid ink)....plug in your camera, select print and in 1 minute, you have a gorgeous, permanent print. It's ready for handling immediately. Sharp, clear, well saturated images. Borderless and inexpensive. My wife is NOT technology oriented. She wanted a printer that she could simply plug her camera into and then print the photos she wished. I got this, and it worked perfectly for her. She made close to 100 prints, everyone perfect, everyone easy. She loves it.The cost per print is reasonable, depending on what capacity packs you buy (36 or 108) it's as low as 30 CENTS per print.THe 36 print ink/paper packs include 2 packs of 18 postacard sized papers and one ink pack that will print out 36 prints. The 108i print in/paper pack is simple 3 of the above for only twice the cost. This is simplicity, very easy to use and and excellent product.I'd buy another were the occasion to come up.

Beautiful color, resolution and contrast. Small, lightweight and handy. Always have extra ink cartridges and paper on hand. The starter pack goes quickly so buy a backup ink/paper pack - reasonable price for that. Price was great. Everyone who has seen this little gem work, was amazed. I received the Selphy ES40 as a birthday gift after several hints. It took a bit of doing to gather everything together to make it work as there was no paper included with the printer. The clerk at Best Buy sold the gift giver the wrong type of photo paper and this was discovered only after the box of paper was opened and BB would not take it back. TAKE NOTE ANYONE WHO IS INTERESTED IN PURCHASING THIS PRINTER: the Canon Easy Photo Pack (E-P100/Ink & Paper)that is needed to use in this printer is available only ON LINE through Amazon or directly from Canon. Plan ahead before you purchase it to make sure you can get the correct photo pack and you will then get carried away once you start printing your pics. One drawback is that if you plan to print from an xD-picture card, you will need an adapter for this (instructions in the guide state this is "commercially available"), but I have NOT been able to find this adapter anywhere on line or at any photo store I've contacted or visited. This has been my biggest disappointment with this printer as one of my cameras uses this type picture card and I'm not able to print those pictures without the adapter. It seems to me that Canon should include this adapter with the printer.

What I loved about this printer -- the very compact size and ease of use. What I didn't like -- I found the prints to be dark and the colors not vibrant. I also didn't like that the size of the prints weren't actually 4x6 but 4x5.75 (or something like that). The toner and paper is sold as a set and I seemed to go through quite a bit of toner. It seemed environmentally wasteful? I wanted to love this little printer, but I ended up returning it. I'll probably get the Canon pixma mg8120.

I love this printer. It has a lot of great features and the pictures look great when they come out. I love the option to use a flash drive, as that comes in handy opposed to hooking the whole printer up to my computer. The shuffle option is really cool too, as well as the disc that gives options to add borders etc to the pic. The only thing I'm not thrilled about at this point is that I've noticed on any cropped pics that were done on the computer, they print out closer than what they were cropped to. The printer somehow zooms up on it. I haven't found a way to resolve that, if there is even a way. It would be nice if the printer allowed you to crop directly on the printer! It is a good investment though, and I'm happy I did it! I've recommended this to many people already :)

This little printer is a powerhouse! It prints a photo in about a minute and, I have to say, the print quality is phenomenal! It's the closest thing to film print quality I've seen from a printer.Setup is a snap. you open a cartridge, open the cartridge door on the side of the printer, take out the cleaning cartridge, remove the orange retaining clip from the back of the new cartridge, insert it into the printer and close the door. Now, you're ready to print. Just put your memory card into the printer, select the photos, cropping, effects or frames you want and press the "print" button. 60 seconds later, you have your print. My only complaint is that the Photo effects, which are available on the printer, are not included in the software for your computer. Oh yeah, While you can hook up a USB cable to your Selphy and print from your computer, you can also use it completely independent of a computer.

Length:: 2:08 MinsHere's what it takes to print pictures with the SELPHY. The audio is a little low (Sorry!) but you can see how long it takes to print. This is light enough to take along to family gatherings so that you can give your mother prints of her grandchildren to show off immediately.Prints are under $0.40 each for a package of paper and the ink cartridge. It's more expensive than taking your memory card to your drugstore, but you pay for convenience. The quality of the prints is very high. You can get a rechargeable battery ( Battery Pack NB-CP2L for Selphy CP-600/CP-330/CP-300 Photo )but as of today, it's $57, which I think is a little pricey compared to the cost of the printer, but it would be worth it if you have to print outside a lot.All in all, this is a good product.

While the printer itself is a nifty little unit, and fun to watch in action (it extracts each piece of paper and then rotates it 90 degrees before printing), the software is another story. The Windows software is ungainly, difficult to use, and full of spelling and grammatical errors. It refuses to operate at all unless your screen is big enough, and sometimes just fails to print for no reason. It was originally written by ULead, which is now owned by Corel. The Mac software is just a driver, and it has poor RGB-CMYK conversion, resulting in dark prints. Kicking up the brightness a couple of ticks in the print menu helps, but shouldn't be necessary. The Mac software doesn't support printing in silver at all. Contacting Canon by email and phone results in no information, apparently they consider it secret for some unfathomable reason (I guess they don't want to sell their silver and gold cartridges to Mac users). This lack also means the Gutenprint people can't support the printer either, so it's completely unusable for Linux/BSD users (Canon apparently doesn't want their business either). Aside from that, the prints are nice a durable, and the backs are printed for postcard use (I wouldn't try mailing an inkjet print as a postcard without some sort of overcoat).

I was asked (told) to do photos at our school's Hallowe'en party fundraiser, and was told print out would be over a B&W laser printer or color printer through a computerNo WAY . . .I am after all a published photographer and saw the results of laser printing, even color, on plain paper.NO way . . .So I got this CANON SELPHY CP760 and two boxes of 108 sheets of postcard paper (4x6) with enough color printing roll inside to cover those sheets.Works like a charm. Beats ANY ink jet out there. While your ink jet is wasting ink cleaning its nozzles, this thing is floating out perfect photos every time, no problem, no jamming.Case closed. You can choose an on board color optimizing feature which might make some colors a little too hot, or deep, or vibrant, than real life, but it looks great. And fleshtones are always true to the subject. That's what counts. It is amazing how much photo lab software can be accessed on board, as well as directly on your DSLR. No need for a computer, ever, anywhere.Just puts out great prints - excellent PHOTO QUALITY!I wish I could figure out a way to attach my flashdrive, but just plugging in the SD memory card (EVEN 4 gig SDHC like the Sandisk 4GB EXTREME III SDHC SD Card (SDSDX3-4096, Static Pack)) is great.AND you do not have to turn it off to unplug the SD card and keep on shooting. Apparently a little bit of roll might get wasted from turning off and on, but you do not have to turn it off just to pull out your SD card. This thing is great, never fails, has PLENTY of paper and ink in the Canon KP-108IP Color Ink/Paper Set pack and never any spots or waste like with your high cost ink jet boys.It did take a second or two at first to figure out how to load the paper in the carrier and then the carrier into the printer (lift the top clear cover as noted elsewhere) and also how to load the color film (just follow the arrows) because the brochure is not really explicit about these things, but once you get the hang of it, it quickly becomes intuitive, not a long learning curve here. Also it takes four swipes in and out (clear some space in back) first yellow, then red (magenta?) then blue (cyan?) AND THEN CLEAR PROTECTIVE COATING (not black like another reviewer guessed). And the screen display tells you which color is coming (as if you cannot see on the page). The product page says that clear coating is good for 100 years, better than my pick-up's.This little printer is good, well built, fun, sturdy, inexpensive (relatively) for what it does, and does it very very well.Where's the down-side? While your ink jet buddies are still wasting that expensive ink clearing their nozzles (was there really dirt in there?) you be printing out. Ink jets are just a cash cow for printer companies to sell expensive ink that gets wasted in cleaning. This Canon Selphy CP760 printer has no waste and no pain; just does its job and does it well.SoJust one question:What's a SELPHY anyway?

This was bought to replace the Kodak G600 which had stopped feeding paper after a year of moderate use (common issue). I'm using it on an Core 2 Due iMac running 10.5.6, and installation was a no-brainer.I only care about one thing with dedicated photo printers: output quality that come as close to photolab prints as possible.Printing from iPhoto, the printer will not give you proper colors at the default settings (way too much red). Once you tweak the settings, watch out -- this thing comes alive. For portraits, I use the following settings to get natural skintone:Saturation: 0Red: -1Green: 0Blue: +1Brightness: +2Contrast: +1For pictures that I want colors to jump out without being artificial, so I use these settings:Saturation: +1Red: -1Green: 0Blue: +1Brightness: +3Contrast: 0You just have to print the same picture (preferably human subject) at different settings and see what you like best. The quality is much better than the Kodak, for I no longer see color banding problems that the Kodak had in light areas. Output is significantly sharper than Kodak even though both are rated at 300dpi. Really, you will be very, very happy with the output once you've tweaked the settings. It is as good as the Sony DFP95 for half the price, and superior to any inkjet. Don't bother comparing the dpi of an inkjet to a thermal dye-transfer. The Canon prints in continuous tone, so its 300dpi looks more like a photolab output (which is also continuous tone) than any inkjet could ever muster. I really can't find faults with the cp760 image quality. It's by far the best dedicated photo printer I've owned (HP, few Epsons). One small gripe: you need to tear the perforated ends off the paper, and this yields a print about 1/8" to 3/16" smaller horizonally and vertically than a true 4x6 print, and the edges have the perforation mark. It's a small compromise I'm willing to make for such fantastic output at a reasonable price.BTW, I recommend the cp760 over last year's cp740 model since the cp760 is noticeably faster. I had the cp740 for a week and the power supply died on it. The cp760 power supply is different mfg.I bought my cp760 in Japan. It came with a universal power supply. But be aware that the Japanese version comes with a smaller paper tray (what they call "L" size, slightly bigger than 3x5). This paper tray will not fit 4x6 paper! I had to spring another 1100 yen for a 4x6 paper tray (what they call "postcard" size.) The US version comes with the 4x6 paper tray.Printer comes with 5 sheets of paper and ribbon enough for 5 printers. So definitely buy a pack of paper/ribbon with the printer.Go for it...it will be the best $100 you'll spend in a while.

This is my second dye-sub printer, and it is an improvement in size, noise and speed. The picture quality is similar, which means it is still very good. I opened the box and set everything up quickly, the paper tray and ink only go in one way so it is easy to use.The problems started when I installed the software. The install was OK, but when I tried to use it I just couldn't find how to get it to print. I am a geek, and build my own machines and play with lots of software, so I can usually work things out, but with this I had to use the last resort of reading the manual. Even then, I only managed to do a simple print, the other features to customize a print were too confusing to even attempt. The next day I wanted to use the printer again, and I couldn't remember the name of the software program in the Start menu, so I had to go back to the install disk and start the install again to work out what it was called. I have another Canon printer which uses a completely different piece of software, which is slightly better, but why doesn't Canon make a standard program for all their printers? This looks like it was thrown together by the hardware engineers with no regard to how a user would use it. I prefer using software that comes with a machine, as it has access to all the features. Its like trying to use a universal remote control, its fine for start/stop/pause but to get into the setup menu you need the manufacturers remote. Now I am just printing from other programs and possible missing out on cool features, but I could not use that program again.I did not remove any stars as I purchased this printer for the quality of the prints, and that is certainly 5 star.

I'm still using HP Photosmart A618 to print 5 x 7 & some 4 x 6 photos. I'll not compare the Inkjet technology with Dye-sublimation because the dye-sub is clearly better in image quality even with 300dpi(dye-sub) vs 600dpi(inkjet). but I'll write about what I liked & what I didn't like using Canon brand printer. btw, I print from the PC (fix the exposure, remove noise..etc photos using Lightroom or any other software) and then I use the official software to print. What I liked:- The photo is super clear and the printer produces amazing quality (outstanding). you will never be disappointed. I assure you that.- The printer is fast enough.- The paper quality is very good and you will not be worried about papers & ink (36 ink cartridge size will print 36 photos, no less no more). What I didn't like:- The paper size isn't perfect 4 x 6 (101.6 x 152.4). It's smaller (100mm x 148mm) in Canon and maybe more smaller than that.I compared the HP 4 x 6 paper with Canon 4 x 6 paper and the HP was bigger by 2-3mm in width and height. I believe that HP produces a better size of 4 x 6 because when I resize any photo to 4 X 6 using any software I get (101.6 x 152.4) which means 1800x1200 ,resolution 300dpi. But When I print this photo size using Canon, the printer will crop automatically 2-5mm from width and height (Canon paper has 2 tabs at the right and left sides which can be removed after you print the photo). The printer will print at least 3mm in the tab area and will crop 2-4mm from the height. Now if I don't want to lose any part of the photo, I should resize all the photos I have to 1748x1181 (100mm x 148mm). To do this, I must disable the constrain aspect ratio. but this will make my photo worse (a square looks like rectangle). To override this problem, I must not disable the constrain aspect ratio but I need to make the height exactly 100mm. that's mean I'll sacrifice some (mm) in the both sides of width (if the Canon paper really 100mm height).- The default colors settings aren't correct (for me the orange color was warm yellow and the warm yellow in the reality was almost green!!). what you see in the PC screen is different than the printed photo. I printed 8 pictures to find the correct settings for me. Raised the contrast, exposure and saturation a little and not equally. still, the final result not perfect but very good. (the colors, contrast and other settings in my monitor is correctly adjusted. mostly as I can see by my eyes).Final words:Before you buy any Canon dye-sub printer, take a look in Epson (PM260 or PM280) or the Fuji (QS-70 or QS-7). Check the actual paper size to make sure you get the 99% of the frame in the final result from the printer. You will need to take a photo to any shop and print it by the models you are thinking of. Make sure to set the resolution at 300dpi and the paper size of 4 x 6. Compare the results and choose what you like then.

Canon Selphy ES30I absolutely love the quality of these photos.I love the ink used for these photos. Photos printed with this printer will last 100 years.I love being able to take this printer almost anywhere to use (it needs to be plugged in)I love the extra editing features built in.I love being able to print more than one photo on a 4x6 card. It's fun watching the photos print.Even though I love this printer, there are a few minor irritations.~The cable, USB A/B, that connects the printer to your PC is not included. We used the cable that came with a portable hard drive. The printer doesn't need to be hooked up to a PC to print photos, but there are some editing functions that can only be performed using a computer. The edited photo can be sent to the printer using the cable.~Some of our photos printed out with a small top and bottom portion cropped out. Installing the software included on the supplied CD-ROM, we were able to use our computer to see which photos would be affected and make adjustments.~Printer cartridges have an expiration date & are hard to find. You will probably need to order them online. The cartridges we rec'd, which were ordered online, expired 5 1/2 months ago. I'm happy to report that the prints from the expired cartridges are excellent quality.Great printer!!!UPDATE: I purchased 3 of these printers for gifts in 2009 and paid $79 for one, $50 for another and less than $100 for the third. I'm shocked by some of the pricing I see on this printer now. Maybe the Amazon dealer I purchased from was trying to clear out their inventory.

I have it for soon 2 years and it is great little device. So often I don't want fix in the pictures anything and just print them they way they are and this printer does superb job on this. I tis also very economical and the printed images are water resistant and very durable!

Having had more than my share of compact ink jet photo printers, I was a little skeptical of the all-in-one cartridge system used by the Selphy ES40. I was also, however, tired of prints never coming out right, paper that was reluctant to feed, near interminable waits, etc. This printer is the modern day equivalent of a Polaroid camera. You just insert the cartridge (for 50 photos), easily select the photo via the dial (which works very much like Canon cameras (or like an iPod, you can spin it or click each of the four directions)), then press the print button. Out comes the picture with no fuss. It won't smudge and watching each color layer appear in succession is interesting, too.Take note: the printer comes with NO paper/ink. You must order it separately. And while the lab will certainly be cheaper, it'll also take a lot longer and a trip to the store or waiting for the delivery. We got this printer to replace what Polaroids used to do... quickly print a picture with no fuss. It does that wonderfully.

Received as a birthday present recently - hooked up to digital camera and within a few minutes I had 3 prints from the camera in my hand - they were clear, bright and didn't get fingerprints on them. Amazing.

This little printer is very nice. It prints out very close to lab quality prints (my friends had no idea I printed at home, and they wanted to compare their photos next to mine, couldn't tell which ones were print at home or photo lab without knowing). You need to buy the paper and ink cassette together in a set ($30 for 108 prints), but the good news is when you are out of ink you are also out of paper, so you always know where you stand. It does seem to cut the heads off of some photos. You can switch it to make a photo that is 3 x 5, but since you have to use the included 4x6 paper which has perferrated edges that you tear off after printing (I have tried other papers in both 4x6 and 3x5, but printer says "wrong size paper") the photo needs to be cut down from that 4x6 size to 3x5 by hand (since it has to be printed on that 4x6 with perferrated edges paper). That would be my only complaint, would really like to use regualar paper and not have to tear edges off, or cut down to size. Photos are so sleek right from the printer you can touch immediately without smudging. Just under a minute per photo to print. I got this for $40, and it prints as nice as my $230 canon pixma printer which I love. SO COMPACT! It is great for family get togethers so you can print off some of your photos for everyone. Highly recommend, so slick to print off photos at my sons birthday party and send home with the boys. Super easy to use, even my 10 year old uses it.UPDATE! I have been printing my wedding photos this week, and my friends and family truly like the photos off this printer better than Walmart. We had a couple of photos printed at Walmart, because heads were close to the edge and got cut off. The ones where the heads were cut off a little were more vivid than the Walmart photos. Just beautiful.Watch this, as it has been as low as $30, and I have bought 2 since getting mine as gifts and my son's teacher was just delighted with hers and says she no longer bothers waiting in line at Walmart anymore!

This is a great Printer and so much fun in many situations. Take it to family reunion, my DIL is school teacher she uses with her students. Everything about this printer is fun, cool, and neat. Complaints from others about the only manner to purchase ink/paper cartridges is online. But that is fine with me.

I purchased this printer for my girlfriend. She's not a very electronics saavy person and will usually not even bother to attempt learning about new gadgets. She basically plugged this printer in and was printing in less than 2 minutes. Picture quality was good. Printer speed was average/good so no complaints. The paper/ink combo kits are fantastic. You always have the exact amount of ink for the amount of paper in each package so you never run out of one before the other. Very compact and light weight. LCD screen is a great feature. Overall this is a great printer and very worth your time, epecially for such a great price! MUST HAVE!

I purchased a Selphy and took in on a one-week trip with my Granddaughters through the Pacific Northwest. EAch night we would sit down in the camper and print out our favorite photos of the day and glue them into journals. We had so much fun making multiple layouts ~ great picture quality!

This isn't my first Selphy but I like it better than my previous ones. I do a lot of traveling and I love the way this one is compact. I also prefer the way the cartridge is set up with ink and paper instead of being separated n the other version I had, less to keep track of when I'm out and about.

Dear READER- My friend, Caroline's friend brought the exact model along on a mission trip to Belize and was able to print out pictures on the spot for the people there... Caroline asked me to find the same one for her... Found it on Amazon, via Crutchfield (LOVE Crutchfield--can't say enough about them except that this was probably my 15th order from them)... Easy set-up with the easy to insert ink and paper cartridges... The unit is VERY compact... Toss it in a backpack or large camera bag... It runs the paper thru for each color (yellow, red, blue, then black) which makes it fun to see the image come alive... It is so simple to operate... Big button for "print"... Way more convenient than driving to the drug store to make prints... Canon makes some of the best products out there (cameras, for sure, printers, etc.), so, I expected this printer to be among the best, too... Not disappointed at all... If you need an inexpensive (we paid $49.99, shipped to the house) photo printer that is not much bigger than an average sized hard-cover book and that makes drug store quality prints at home, then buy this one... Highly recommended... Amazon gets 5-stars, too (as usual, from me, as my Amazon experiences have all been so satisfying)... Thank you for your time, reader... Don

I bought this photo printer so I can print pictures on the go. I love it!!! It's compact, portable and easy to use. It's so easy that I taught my 6 yr old niece in 5 minutes and she printed out a ton of pictures for me @ our Christmas party. Now she wants one for herself. LOL. I have used this printer @ several gatherings and parties and everyone is amazed how cool this little printer is. I've already ordered 2 more as gifts for my girlfriends. You can't beat the price. So if you looking for a great simple but good quality printer...this is it. The only bad thing that I can say about this printer is that it's a little slow on the output but that really doesn't matter once you see the picture you just printed.

I got this little printer in hopes of having something more convenient than having to run to the store. I've got three kids and two of them are under the age of two so a quick run to the store to print off pictures isn't ever easy. I turned it on and got it set up and that took about 2 minutes. After that I put in the ink and paper cartridge and that took about 15 seconds. I plugged in my camera and started printing. So in the matter of about 3 minutes after I took it out of the box I had a gorgeous picture. I've had so much fun with this little printer and every single picture has come out absolutely perfect.
