The loading of paper was straightforward and the ink cartridge slid into place. I printed first without changing any settings and then went for a bordered image with smooth skin toning and vivid imagery and the colors really jumped off the paper.If you purchase the paper and ink from Amazon the cost per picture is around .26 per photo, and you will not be disappointed. You will however need to purchase a printer cable to connect to your computer since the printer doesn't come with one. I found it's not needed with all the features that came loaded on the printer but it's a nice to have if needed. Several reviews have complained about a white power cord with a black printer, which is really not a big issue. It's black and white to me.This printer can also be ultra portable with a battery pack that can be picked up on Amazon for around $60.00. Simply clip it into the rear slot and you are ready to print. The enclosed data sheets say that you can get around 50 prints from one charge. I'll update this review when I pick up the next set of ink and photo papers. For now it certainly deserves 5 stars for it's vibrant pictures, fast printing, and ease of setup.The camera I used to demo the Canon SELPHY CP800 was a Canon T2i, and it certainly seems the perfect pairing. I took several Civil War Battlefield images with the T2i and printed out 3 of them. They looked outstanding! I just wish Canon would have send more than 5 photo papers with a limited ink cartridge to test.

This is the worst printer i have ever seen. First, you have to buy the specific paper and ink for the printer itself. It comes with 5 papers for a "test", which worked fine.I bought a 108 pack of paper and ink, and the machine jammed on 2 ink cartridges and actually cut the material for the cartridge, making it completely useless. That was the first cartridge.It jammed for the second cartridge and the machine said to turn off and back on again. When it came on, it ejected the stuck paper and the ink cartidge film stuck to the paper as it was forced out, making the second cartridge useless. And yes, i put the ink cartridge in the correct way. For the 3rd cartridge, yes, it is stuck AGAIN...btw, i double checked - the manual says to use the KP-108IN paper, and that is what i ordered.Essentially, i spent 30 dollars to print ZERO pictures. What a waste, do not buy this piece of junk.

It looks like Canon is largely leaving the Macintosh platform, so beware of buying any of their products with the hope to use them on Macs. This is not the only printer for which they have discontinued drivers. Many of their products do not work with the new Lion OS (10.7) including products which are only months old. It's left me with quite a lot of paper and ink which cannot be used with my new computer. My suggestion would be to stay away from not only their printers, but also cameras and other products, as they have determined that Windows will receive future driver support.

Why do I give this photo printer only one star? Because it's a total pain to use, that's why. Not the ACTUAL using of it, but the preparation and supplies.It only takes its OWN type of paper, and you can't get the paper or print cartridge at any office supply store (at least not that I've seen). You have to order it online. Huge pain in the rear. Everytime you want to print photos you must order their own special Canon paper and cartridge set - which doesn't last very long by the way and is about $20 once you pay for shipping. AND you cannot use ANYTHING except 4 x 6 paper. Nothing bigger, nothing smaller.Too restrictive and problematic for me. I would never buy this printer again.

I bought this printer for printing photos. I read the reviews and the only negative ones were that PC cropped images may not print as cropped and the slightly more per print cost. As to the first complaint, the manual indicates that PC cropped images may not print as cropped.The problem I had was with a Windows 7 install. No matter what I did, whether using the CD provided, downloading the drivers directly from Canon, switching user, etc., the printer would not install. Every time I tried to install it (after uninstalling the previously unsuccessful attempt), it showed up in printers and devices as a device other than a printer (identified as a Canon Selphy CP800). A call to Canon did not improve on this result (although the person was very courteous and went through a number of different steps with me).It installed easily on a Mac and Windows XP machine. So, I can use the printer, just not on the PC I primarily use. If you only have a Windows 7 machine, be forewarned.

I LOVE this photo printer! I have been using it to put my photos together in my scrapbook, and love the option to have multiple photos per single 4x6 sheet. Pictures are so bright and vibrant. Definitely would recommend this to anyone.

The product is in brand new condition. Arrived in timely manner. Very easy to use. In stores this item was about two twice as much. Came with sample paper n sample ink. Everyone looking for photo printer should buy this.printer!!

I would characterize this printer just like the other good reviews. Quality excellent. Accommodates many media. Prints have die cut snap-off sides to make a borderless 4x6. Hopefully it'll last long - which is hard for these reviews to assess. I'm very happy with the 1st print. I plan to use these for on-location event "couple" shoots, and will test it on a studio photo shoot (like the Polaroids tests of olden days).

I bought this printer for my wife to replace a previous model that has failed. She is just thrilled with it and can once again print her camera pictures. The purchase was good. The delivery was fast. Would deffinitely purchase other items.

I gave this to my sister for Christmas and I put in the disk that went with it. The driver didn't download and we couldn't print pictures from her computer. I bought Kodak 4 by 6 paper and it seemed just a tad to tight to fit the tray, but seeing as we haven't got a chance to get a flash drive to try it out I don't know if the paper fits or not.

I configured, three of these printers using the standard printer pooling feature in Microsoft Windows(R). Starting with just one printer attached via USB, I then added each other printer one at a time, noting the (temporary) USB port assignment each was assigned. Then, for the first printer, designated as default, I configured ports to checkbox the two others. Then the production operation started! I used a Nikon camera, also attached via USB, wherein a folder view into the camera was maintained during operation. As photos were snapped, the view was "refreshed", then new items were dragged/dropped to a folder on the computer. From that local folder, right clicks were used to specify "Print" in the selection. This was unencumbered, thanks to the Selphy driver and the non-intrusive aspects of using the printer features without having to use their software. Producing a 4x6 inch camera-store quality print in about 40 seconds, allowed a delivery rate of about 15 seconds from the peak operation of all printers running at the same time. Well over 100 people saw the simplicity, fast and beautiful performance of the units in this way. Quite a few people said that they are definitely going to buy a Sephy printer! Also, you cannot run out of "ink". The carton contains the dye-sublimation cartridges and the paper, in a matched set. The cartridges contain slightly extra capacity than the paper, so, it gave me confidence in doing this volunteer mission to community children. The materials cost is very good too, as it is approximately 30 cents a photo. This was done as a free community service as a replacement of the now obsolete Polaroid(R) technology. I and my team recommend this product very highly!

It would not take that much effort to recompile the driver for Mac OS X Lion. Pretty ridiculous.I really like dye sheet printers like these, they are about the same price as getting nice digital prints or mail-order prints, but this one is going back. I admit, I should've checked but, again, it's not that difficult to bring drivers forward.

I purchased a Canon DSLR camera and was in need of a portable printer that I could print pictures out on for my customers (I do family reunions, baby showers, & other events) as apart of their photo package. When I saw this particular one, I was a bit hesitant because of the production year, but I bought it anyway and it works just fine. The ink runs out rather fast (about 30 pictures, depending on the cartridge you buy), but they are very inexpensive, and I buy those off Amazon as well. The only problem I would say is the screen, which is a bit small and not necessarily my idea of an "LCD". Other than that, it's easy to assemble, disassemble, and is light-weight. The pictures don't come out wet, and are ready-to-go as soon as they come out. It definitely gets the job done.

This printer will NOT work with Mac OSX LION.It will work if you install the printer under Snow Leopard, and then upgrade to LION, but the drivers will not instal on a Lion machine.You can still print from a memory stick or Memory card (SD/CF/Etc)Kinda a bummer now that I upgraded my computer...

Amazon Vine sent me this product to review, and normally they send out a retail-packaged item complete with accessories, unless they state otherwise. This product was received in a seemingly intact-retail package, but was lacking a USB cable (so I couldn't link it with my computer for printing photos) and lacking the larger print size paper. While the unit itself is black, the cables and paper attachment pieces are white, so that looks a bit tacky.The setup was very easy (but the software for the computer is useless without the USB cable, so I cannot review how it works). The print cartridge slips into it's place with no hassle, and the paper tray is easy to manage. They sent 5 sheets of the smaller size paper, Canon brand (understandably). The unit itself is compact and nice looking without the paper tray and white cables. (The cables do come from the back, so they are mostly hidden. The on-screen interface is easy to use.It turns on relatively quietly and prints relatively quietly. The print quality is acceptable. The options include red eye and skin smoothing, which I found to not make much difference in the picture quality.Frankly, I think it's much easier to shoot your pictures over the 'net to your local Walgreens or Costco and have them print the photos for a few cents each. Perhaps my review would be different if I had full access to its functions, but for what I received in the mail today, it certainly is NOT worth the money.Note: I have had a comment saying that NO printers come with the cable, and my experience says that this is not true. Not only have I purchased 2 different printers in the past 6 months that included the cables, the box for this product and its included paperwork states specifically that the cable and the larger tray were INCLUDED in the box, which they were not. I could have gone and used a different cable, but I was asked to review the product as sent to me...and that's what I did.

First, my husband opened the box, wanting to be the first to use this little printer, but he did not follow through. When I next opened the box, the instructions had disappeared. Guess what? I was able to figure out how to use it without them, which is something I hate doing. I'm strictly a "don't skip ahead to the next step, read the instructions!" kind of person. But faced with (ahem) the result of someone's carelessness, I steeled myself to figure it out, and what do you know? -- it was easy. Just pop in the ink cartridge, plug into camera, add the paper, and you're off! (I did not try to work it through my computer at the time). The hardest part was loading the paper tray, which can only be inserted if one side is open. For that I resorted to pictures on YouTube.The price of replacement paper and ink comes to around 30 cents (or slightly less) per print, which seems pretty good to me.The pictures themselves were beautiful and very clear, but I don't think the color was perfect. I think it has a bias toward blue, which for sum subjects (gardens, for example) is lovely, but for others (people?), may be undesirable. It's not a severe bias, probably comparable to the difference between Ektachrome and Kodachrome.One other downside is that you can print only one size (4x6) of photo. Still, for an affordable, simple to use, and space-saving machine, it's great.

Although this printer was originally not compatible with Lion, the problem has now been fixed and it is compatible. This printer is amazing. The picture quality is wonderful. If any Project lifers are out there, this printer is perfect for project life.

My brother is handicapped and loves taking pictures. Thousands of them. His picturemate finally died so we thought we'd get him this for Christmas. He loves it. It's easy to use and makes a nice photo. Hoping it is durable, too soon to tell.

This is the second SELPHY printer I've purchased. I have had one installed on a Windows PC for a couple of years and like the quality of prints and especially the convenience of using Canon's supplied Easy-PhotoPrint software for when I just need to run off a batch of prints. Since I now use a Macintosh for almost all image processing and storage, I recently added a CP760 to my printer array which includes pro-level HP and Canon Ink-jet printers for my "serious" large-format printing.The CP760 driver installed as usual and the I'm able to print to the SELPHY from Apple Aperture, PhotoShop, PhotoShop Elements, EasyDraw, and iPhoto, but NOT from Canon's own Easy-PhotoPrint. Easy-PhotoPrint recognizes my Pro9000 Canon ink-jet but not Canon's own CP760.I've had multiple email exchanges with Canon's support "technicians" who seem to be following the same support script that one typically gets if you phone for help. I've done all of the things they've recommended including re-installing the driver, trashing preferences files, re-installing their Canon E-PP application, updating the Canon E-PP from V. 3.5.4 (which came with the CP760 to V.3.7.0 (the latest one available from Canon Support. None of the "fixes" have resulted in the CP760 being able to be selected from Canon's own Easy-PhotoPrint. E-PP does recognize my Pro9000, however.I love the SELPHY line of printers and the great prints they make, but for my use, having access to Easy-PhotoPrint was a major factor in adding this printer to my Macintosh. I'm really disappointed that Canon cannot get their printer to work with their own software, while it works fine with every other brand of image processing application I own. I guess that my real disappointment is that I've spent hours on all the email exchanges and software re-installs and, so far, have not been able to receive support from anyone who seemingly has any expertise other than reading a "now do step 1., then do step 2., etc.", script.UPDATE:Today I received what will probably be my final communication with Canon Support:QUOTE: Thank you for writing back to us. I am sorry to hear that your problems continue.In looking further into your issue, it appears that the CP760 isactually not compatible with Easy Photo Print. We apologize for theconfusion and any inconvenience this may cause.Easy Photo Print is a basic printing program for inkjet printers such asthe Pro9000 and the majority of our other printers. However, the CP760is a digital printer and does not use the same technology. The otherprograms that successfully print to the unit use the digital printingcommunication necessary to communicate with the CP760. Again, weapologize for any inconvenience this may cause. UNQUOTEThis after a week of supplying "fixes" to get the CP760 to work with E-PP.That is the most ridiculous answer I've heard.I have a Intel PC with Easy-PhotoPrint installed and it fully supports the SELPHY printer with all Easy-PhotoPrint options fully functional.The communication between the printer and CPU is determined by the print driver and Easy-Photo print simply routes the files to the appropriate printer through the correct driver.It's very disappointing that Canon has apparently chosen to disable access to the CP760 driver in Easy-PhotoPrint for the Macintosh, but not in the Windows version of the program. Even more disappointing is that the (4) Canon support people I received trouble-shooting instructions from, did not know that Canon claims that Easy-PhotoPrint is not intended to support the CP760, even though they gave me multiple "fixes" to correct the problem.I currently own (8) professional Canon 35 mm and Digital SLR's including some very expensive "L" lenses, All have been reliable and have never required any encounters with Canon Support. I really saddened that they have apparently chosen to farm out Canon support to people who clearly should be in another line of work, and I'll think twice before continuing to "support" Canon USA.Shame on you Canon!!

Printer cannot be used on Mac Lion computers. According to a Canon reply, no driver for Mac Lion will be provided. Ever.Shame on Canon for not offering support for their own products. Shame on Canon for not making this explicitly clear on their web site.Canon products? Never, ever again.

I have a 6 mo old daughter and have no time to go to the store to print the many pictures I take of her. I purchased this printer to print only those that make the "cut". I love the Selphy Print software it is easy to use and walks you through the process. Anyone can use this printer and make great memories. Pictures I consider to be Selphy worthy come out great. I highly recommend this printer.

Just received this a couple of days ago. Spend the money and purchase this photo printer. I'm sort of a challenged person when it comes to setting up electronic stuff. But this was an easy set-up. The prints are comparable to CVS etc. Plus the creative option on this printer lets you do more things to your prints. This has a nice carry handle so you can take it anywhere that has a hook-up for your power cord. The pics are pricier than at CVS but you have the convenience of printing them almost anywhere.Also be smart and buy extra picture pks. This does not come with any. I have a regular size all-in-one printer but for photos only this can't be beat.I have been looking at these for a couple of years now. Our 3rd grandchild is less than a year old and I can immediately print pics right after I take them.Plus we live in an RV nearly 7 months of the year and I now I won't have to wait to get my pics printed. Plus the size of this is very convenient.As a few other people have said, all I can say is WOW. This was one of my best purchases in a long time.I thought I had ordered enough printer pks but now I'm going to order more. I do not want to have to search for more in case I run out as we'll be snow birds heading south in just a few weeks and I want to make sure I have enough pic pks.I have also ordered a similar Selphy printer for a christmas gift and hope she likes hers as much as I like mine.Don't put off ordering one of these and I really recommend the Selphy ES40.To put it simply-it's just the greatest. So glad Cannon designed these.Thank-You

I first borrowed this printer from my son to make a mess of photos for a rehab submission and it worked like a champ... so I bought my own.The ink seems to last slightly longer than the info implies but it's very clear when you are out.Got no complaints. It's little but it's mighty.

I have had a Kodak printer dock like this for years!! I recently couldn't get paper for it, so I decided to buy this printer!! I LOVE IT!!! It's quite and does an amazing job!! I am working on stuff for a family reunion and printing pictures I have scanned and most of my pictures are from the 1940s! It wouldn't know it by looking at them!! I love this printer!! The only that bugged me a little was they didn't supply the USB cable which isn't a big deal I had one not being used!! If you are thinking about getting this, DON'T WAIT!! DO IT NOW!! LOL You won't be sorry!!

Used this to print pictures taken at a fundraiser of kids with Santa. Worked great. Cartridge and paper used up at the same time. Got as many as package stated. Very easy to set up and operate. Somewhat costly for everyday at home use but for my purposes, it was terrific.

WARNING TO ALL MAC USERS:this printer has NO MAC OS 10.7 driver available and cannot be used with your new MAC. STAY AWAY!!! Canon keeps promising driver support but is really completely unhelpful.

this is what Canon Support wrote back 2 me:"Thank you for your inquiry. We value you as a Canon customer and appreciate the opportunity to assist you. We regret to hear that you are experiencing difficulty locating a Macintosh OS X Lion drivers for your SELPHY CP760.Unfortunately, Macintosh OS X 10.7 drivers are not planned for yourproduct. We apologize for the inconvenience this causes you."even the new SELPHY CP800 does not have a driver for the OS X Lion. my printer is not old!

I have been very happy with this printer, it's a great price, and puts out some pretty nice prints. The only downside is the speed of the prints. It's no good if you are in a hurry or want bulk prints... say for a photobooth?

I bought this printer to take to the beach with my grandchildren. We were spending a week at the beach and I wanted to do something together in the afternoons. So we each made our own scrapbook and assembled it over the week. My 13 year old granddaughter and her friends had no trouble operating the printer. We chose the pictures to be printed from my Photoshop Elements progam, and after enhancing our photos, printing them was as simple as pressing "print." The five year olds probably could have operated it themselves but I was too afraid that it might break and then what would we do during the afternoon thundershowers? The five year olds did watch it with utter amazement each time a photo appeared. It's a great little printer and the photos are really good. I have a large HP printer and an Epson 3-in-1 and have printed pictures with these machines using ink specifically made for photo printing and photo paper. The Selphy prints were just as good and there was no color calibration necessary. I would recommend this printer to anyone who needs an easy to use as well as a small and/or portable printer. It has been a great little printer to take along to family events and print the pictures then and there. Immediate gratification without sacrificing quality.

If you absolutely have to do your own printing, this is a good printer to buy. Bottom line: most photo labs will print cheaper, with better quality control, with known sizing, and with known print lifetime.Quality: This dye-sublimation printer will match the quality of a lab. The prints are clear and well colored. (I use a color calibration tool for my monitor, so I know the colors are correct out of the printer. I suspect that may be the problem with other reviewers who have complained of mismatched color.)Cost: you are looking at about $60 to buy the unit, plus $0.27 per print. Photo labs tend to start at $0.19 per print. You pay extra for the convenience of print-it-here-and-now, but it's not too bad of a cost. The "sample media" provided by Canon was good for exactly 5 prints. Be sure to buy your first 108-pack if you order this printer.Quality control: A dye-sub printer will (in my experience) give more consistent quality than an inkjet. Inks dry out, colored films do not. Ink nozzles can block up, leaving streaks in your prints, colored films do not. Even so, an imperfection in the ribbon or the paper will be visible in your prints. I've already seen this happen with this unit in the 3rd image that I printed. There is a bright green spot in my print where the magenta film had a defect. This is another win for a lab: if I'd received this print from a lab, I could get them to reprint it for free. To redo it myself will cost me another $0.27 for the new print.Sizing: as has already been mentioned in another review, the sizing of 4x6 prints is about 3-15/16" by 5-13/16", when printing "borderless" on the perforated 4x6 sheets. Any professional printer will tell you that you have to plan for bleed space when you send imagery for printing, and this is a good example. Don't print pictures with the content all the way up to the edges, or you will be disappointed when it gets cut off. This is probably true of your photo lab as well, so plan ahead and save yourself the grief. Note as well that the aspect ratio of a 4x6 print is 3:2 and the aspect ratio of most point-and-shoot cameras is 4:3. Some labs will offer 4.5x6 prints for this very reason, to avoid cropping the image. There are no cropping/positioning tools on the printer, so you'll want to pre-crop in your favorite image editor before sending 4:3 images to this printer. That or shoot with a DSLR that has a 3:2 ratio sensor anyway (All current Canon and Nikon SLRs).Lifetime: Photo lab prints done on photographic paper have been around dozens of years. Their long-term resistance to fading is well known. Printer paper and dye-sublimation inks are not nearly so well known. I had an older (circa 2001) Olympus dye-sublimation photo printer, and the prints that I still have from that machine have NOT lasted. The colors have separated unevenly, or faded away entirely in some cases. I'm glad I didn't trust anything important to that medium. Canon claims prints from this printer will last 100 years. I'm hoping so.

The AC/DC cable is long enough (white tough), flexibility with memory cards in excellent and the basic editing features with the LCD screen are a nice touch. The cost per print is good, I highly recommend this printer.

Let me start by stating that I don't usually write reviews, but I certainly read them. I bought this little printer in 2009 after my third HP photosmart died on me. I am a photo fanatic and I have a hard time being satisfied with print quality when I use kiosks and in-store photo labs. I was surprisingly pleased when this printer arrived. It is attractive looking, pleasingly heavy, and setup was a snap. I have a Canon digital Rebel EOS and I know a little about photography, and I want my prints to look as good as they do on my camera. This printer may not be perfect, but it is close. I love the print quality and it BY FAR beats my local stores in quality. I print about 1000 pictures per year on average, and with this printer I print two per page, and this saves me a ton of money and space on my photo bookshelf. The ink and paper kit is right around thirty bucks and this comes out to $0.27 per 4x6. This is a great deal. The only complaint I have is a minor one, and it's the speed and noise. If I am printing 25 sheets it takes about 25 minutes, so I just leave them printing while I leave the room. It's not terribly loud, but you wouldn't want to sit and listen to it for over a few minutes. I have had several compliments on my photo prints and people ask me all the time where I have them printed. If you print casually or even moderately, I would definitely recommend this printer. If mine broke today I'd buy another one tomorrow.

This is the printer I was looking for. It prints very clear pictures and is small to fit on the desk. The only thing I don't like is that you can put your memory card in, but, you can not download to the computer from the printer

Bought this product, loved it, used it for a few weeks. Upgraded my laptop to Mac OS Lion and now the drivers don't work. Canon keeps saying they will have Lion compatible drivers Q4 of 2011. Why the huge delay? My Brother and HP printers both work and have Lion compatible drivers. This product is now a brick on my desk for last few months, thanks Canon!

I print a lot of pictures using HP Photo printers. When I received the SELPHY from someone who bought it but never tried it, I wondered how this odd-looking printer would work. It worked so well that I hate to go back to my usual printer when I need larger-sized photos.It is easy to use, fast, and the results look great. I like the black and white option as well as the small prints.I've recommended it to my friends.

I have thousands of photos on my computer and now I finally have a decent way to share them thanks to this printer. The print quality is outstanding and colors are true. Photos come out looking like real photos. No dots, just smooth continuous color. Thanks Canon.

I am very pleased with this little printer. The prints are great and fast. I am a hobby photographer and it is a great addition to my photography equipment. The printer is easy to set up and puts away neatly.

I wanted a printer to take along in my RV this summer - this is perfect! It is compact and the screen folds up so no parts hanging off to get bumped during travel in a cupboard. I was concerned because some of the reviews said the picture quality was not good, but the only issue I found was the colors were not as intense on the 4x6 prints I made. It is quick printing, the set-up was very simple, and it worked perfectly with my Canon and Olympus cameras and from pix I saved on my computer. Make sure you have the right USB interface cable if you intend to print directly from your camera because it does not come with one (Use the same one that goes from your camera to the computer) and to use some micro- and mini-SD cards requires an adapter you purchase separately, but it has slots for most other types of memory devices so just verify what type your camera uses before you purchase.

Love this product! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I had to go spend $15 more for a USB cord...really should come with that, since the connection was not one that matched any of the other USB cords that I have a ton of!

I bought this printer for $79, much cheaper than SONY printer. It is easy for use. Though it takes time to print each one, more than 1 minute. My famaly like it very much.

This printer is just absolutely great. It is fast and portable. The photo quality is awesome and the colors pop. Some of my pictures look painted. Not sure about the cartridge longevity as I have not tested how long they last. It has an auto correct feature that makes touch up a breeze. I highly recommend this photo printer. In fact, I like to so much, I might get another one.

I just bought this printer last night and I LOVE it. I printed all 50 pictures in the photo pack with absolutely no problem. No, it doesn't come with the USB cord but I just used the USB cord from my old printer and it was a perfect match. I compared the quality with pictures I had printed from Target and they would equal if not better. I wish it told you how many prints you have left before the ink/paper is gone and maybe it does but I haven't found the option yet. The ink is a little expensive but I think it's so worth it for the convenience. I always have problems at the photolab, from the kiosks being down, to the kiosks not being able to read my memory card or disks, and of course, rude customer service. I took some awesome pictures of my tree and ornaments last year and plan to send them out next Christmas as cards thanks to the postcard on the back of the prints. Anyway, Amazon is selling this for over $200 and I bought it locally at Best Buy for $85.99 and I saw it advertised at Bestbuy.com for only $99. It's only $150 on Canon's site. Hope no one pays over twice the price!

I was very disappointed with this printer. It states it prints form memory sticks but not until you open the product does it state that it only recognizes unedited photos. You must use the printers editing features. These features do not work well. The edited and unedited printed pictures are indistinguishable from each other. For instance, there is no difference from a photo unedited to the one that was edited for red eye removal. They both had red eye. To sum it up, this printer is only good if you want to print directly from a camera and are satisfied with the way those photos appear. The ink is expensive and you get about 10 pictures from each cartridge. This printer is now in my closet and I see no real use for it.

Bought one for the wife. Had to buy another for her aunt, then another for the daughter. Prints crisp clear pictures and the paper and ink refills are really not that expensive. Excellent product
