Великолепно

Bought this printer so my wife can print directly from the my Canon Rebel XT. Very easy to use printer with decent output. I love the ability to connect via pictureBridge or just stick the card in the slot.Paper handling is very smooth and the print comes out very fast.

Out of the box, with little instruction was able to print from camera, computer, memory card.Don't expect much from printer editing tools: they are quite primative.Photos are good resolution and at least as true as the store printed. And is easily taken with when travel to send as postcards home.See no need for the battery power pack yet. Caution: Don't buy anything but the paper / dye cartridge combos made for this series of printer.

I was amazed at the quality and easy use of this printer. For the low price and the extra $40 value with two ink tanks & 140 sheets of canon paper it's about the best deal you can get for the quality. If you have a canon camera already, it produces decent quality prints. You don't have to have a canon camera to use this item. You must use cannon paper only, I tried Hp paper and it prints on it but not as good as cannon. You can only take 4x6 photo's.

I received the cp720 model along with a canon digital camera and I am thoroughly impressed by the quality of prints that this prints- I would have believed that these photos were printed from a lab if I didn't know otherwise.The replacement ink cartridge is extremely easy to use and replace, no mess. They are designed for a specific number of prints and they work great right up until the end, so there are no faded pictures when your ink is low.The photo paper is very nice, thick stock, and glossy, with perforated edges.You are limited to paper by the manufacturer, but refills are reasonably priced, compared to getting prints professionally made.

Actually, this is CP720 review, but the spec of CP730 is almost same except 2.0 LCD, Image Cropping Function, Battery Operated, multi format media, My Colors photo effects, Wireless printing with IrDA.I have bought two CP720 for $99.00 each from local store. It has several useful functions like 1.5 inch LCD preview monitor, multi layout control, built in USB cable and card reader... Print quality is excellent with anti-smudge coating, you can not tell the difference with print from Photo Lab or even better. Printing time takes less than 2 min. Delivering high quality photos that last for up to 100 years. Highly recommend this printer for people who want to print snap photos by themselves. Furthermore, upgrade version CP730 has battery operated option, so you can get nice photo lab quality print at anytime, anywhere.CONs; 28? per print. Easy to get dust spot on the final image while 3 pass print processing. No image Cropping function(But $50 more CP730 has it!)

The DS810 is a great printer for the price. I've had a few problems with print quality, and when i print several pictures back to back without giving the printer a break, it tends to spit little blue dots everywhere on the picture. Other than that its a great printer. Easy to use, easy to set up, and nice looking prints.

Picture sharpness is excellent, but some images print darker than they should. Cropping is my only real complaint. The controls are awkward and, worse, not fine enough. It's often difficult to frame everything you want and not what you don't want because the available cropping settings are inadequate. There's no technical reason for this limitation, Canon just didn't provide fine enough control of that feature.

I ordered this item from Amazon.com because of the instant rebate and ink offer. I was FLOORED when I saw the quality of the pictures printed. This printer is so easy to use, I started printing in minutes. So far I have printed almost 100 pictures and it's still going strong.BUY this printer if you like taking and printing pictures.

This is a very easy to use printer, creates very nice 4x6 prints directly from memory cartridges. The screen is a bit small, but works. Printing is very quiet, and reasonably rapid. Printer supplies are very reasonable. A single tank, couldn't be easier than that. The styling is a bit long in the tooth today, but at this price, it's a great deal.One warning, and it's clearly stated in the owner's manual, you must use the ink within 6 months of opening the cartridge. If you leave the ink in for longer, prints will be totally messed up. So, use the ink, make prints!!

I just got the Canon Selphy CP730 and the best thing that I can say is that it is extremely portable. If you want a picture on the fly, wherever you go then I might consider this. But if you are buying this to use at home like I have, with an eye for toting it about, the print quality is lacking sharpness and the colors are lacking depth. My HP printer does a much better job but lacks the portability. Bottom line, it doesn't produce good pictures.

I bought this photo printer after researching several on the internet before Christmas.We are a military family stationed in a rural overseas area and needed just a printer I could use to send 4 X 6 (and smaller) family pictures to the states and elsewhere.That was my main reason for buying a photo printer. I looked at several other makes. My requirements were: Something compatible and easy to set up as we run both Mac and PC platforms in my family. Did not want to have to buy the proprietary 'ink and paper' route. Wanted at least an option of getting generic ink if I wanted to do that.And wanted small as already have an overcrowded desk.Bought this and am very happy. Easy to set up with Mac (I run Mac OS X 10.4.3). Have not tried it on the PC yet but I am sure that will go smooth also. No problems at all in set up. Prints beautiful pictures on either Epson or Canon glossy but I would not use anything else. A Kodak paper I had which state it suited Canon printers brought terrible results. It is amazing the quality I can get from just three inks. I cannot imagine anyone but the pickiest of people being unhappy with these prints. Everything I have printed has been from the computer. Nothing via camera yet. I had heard the quality was a little less that way but for me this is the usual way I print. Cartridges are not too expensive either. 75 prints from each and really almost just as cheap as anything generic. I would heartily recommend this printer to anyone looking at photo printers. I did see some negative comments on a few other photo review sites but to me unfounded. Look around for good deals, I got this for $84 with a $15 dollar off coupon. Great value for money.

For a dedicated photo printer, I enjoy the ease of getting prints with the Canon software interface. This little number produces nice output. Consumables deplete rapidly but they don't scare you at the register. Ink tanks can be had for under $10.Some trouble with white edges on borderless prints, but power cycling seems to solve it.Paper tray leaves sheets hanging out in front where they are in the way.I use this printer to get quick snaps for fun and transmit or take my serious stuff to the photo finisher for prints. That said I'm happy enough with this purchase as it fits my need without regrets.

Really Good Quality Photos! Extremely easy to setup! Reads photos from disk, directly from camera (yeah you don't have to upload them, and then print pictures) or you could use your laptop. This was a really great buy!

I've printed several pictures with no problems so far. I particularly like the size. It is unobtrusive; sitting near my monitor (on a very cluttered desk). Though the quality is fine for everyday use it is not professional grade but then I didn't expect it to be when I decided to purchase it. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with it.

Printer works fine, prints excellent pictures. Setup with the cable connect was a bit technical (This was purchased for 87 year old father-in-law). Printing from the memory stick was a more straight-forward. A good value.

This printer does an excellent job. The colors are vivid and the clarity isvery crisp. The only negative is you are restricted to the canon paper with end tabs. Good value for a compact snap shot printer.

I replaced my old HP photo printer for this one. The buttons on the HP Printer were becoming difficult to make it work. The Canon Selphy printer was horrible. The quality of the prints didn't even come close to the HP quality. I could only print 15 photos before the cartridge became clogged and had to call tech support which didn't solve my problem. I returned the printer and will purchase an HP printer again. I don't recommend this product to anyone.

Print quality is good. But the cables come with printer can only connect to Canon digital cameras (I tried poershot and EOS 10D), it cannot connect to PC UBS ports, though it looks like UBS connector. So, there is no way you can print a picture to cp-x00 from a PC.Anybody there know a way to print from a PC?

I have been very pleased with this printer. So long as your resolution is set very high on your camera your pictures will be as good as lab quality!The only downside is it does not come with a disk to run this printer with your computer or the cable needed. You have to buy it directly from Cannon. Also I have had a few pictures come out with very faint lines or dots.I would purchase this printer again if I had to make the decision for a second time.

This printer produces 4X6 prints on postcard paper that look like they came from a photo lab. The quality is fantastic, and the relatives were in awe. I am very very happy with the printer and the Canon S400 camera I use it with. I now have a portable print studio. Do not confuse this printer with ink jet printers. It uses dye sublimation, a completely different printing process. The result is something that looks and feels like a glossy photo postcard, not a piece of paper. You don't put ink in it, so there is no ink to jam your print nozzles since neither exist in this printer. You buy the equivalent of ink and paper in kits made from Canon. (KP-36IP, for example)

This printer was very easy to use. Just pop in the cartridge, paper, and plug in the camera. The camera has to be a certain type of Canon, but there is an available computer cable (I have not gotten it yet), to hook up other cameras. The benefit of using a Canon camera with this printer is you can travel without a computer, and still print out pictures. These pictures look beautiful, and the colors are true and bright. Printing couldn't be easier and fast. I was able to get a print while my 2 year old was frantically trying to pull the plugs, press the buttons and all arms and legs struggling. It's fun watching the three colors slide in and out in the three passes the printer makes to process the picture. Instant gratification!

I have worked with 3 dyesub printers, the Cannon CD-300, the Sony DV-77, and this printer. This printer produces the best images. Everytime I display prints I get comments on how good they are. The prints are sharp and the color is accurate.I really like the small size of the printer and being able to use the screen on my G2 to select and trim the pictures. I was able to purchase a Canon camera bag that holds the printer, camera, flash, and paper/ink packs.Another great feature of the printer/camera combination is the speed of the printing. As soon as I select print on the camera the printer starts printing the picture. With other printers I had to wait for print pre-processing.A drawback of the printer is that the kit to connect it to a computer is not yet available. I get around that by editing the images on my computer and by using the Canon ZoomBrowser software to copy the images to a compact flash card that I can put in the G2 for printing.

I recently bought the CP-100 based only on a whim (thought it looked cool and would be great to have instant photos)and also because i owned a canon digital camera. I have tried it out and found the printing quality to be excellent but.. i am now finding it hard to find the ink cartidges and paper* compatible with this product.. hopefully as this product becomes more popular, its accessories will be readily available (amazon.com, please dont sell products without supporting accessories like paper and cartridges, thanks!).

If you own a Canon digital camera this printer is great. It is portable and makes great prints. People think they are from a photolab. It is also vey easy to use. I have seen other mini printers from Olympus and Sony and they are not as good. They cost more too.

I have this printer and love it. Or used to love it. I just got a new computer which runs Windows XP. You cannot use this printer with a new computer because Canon has arbitrarily decided not to release printer drivers. Their nonsensical stated reason is that the printer does not support USB (universal serial bus). Windows XP could support this printer. It recognizes the printer as new hardware over the parallel printer bus and asks for a driver. Since Canon has decided not to support Canon products there is no usable driver. Canon has only released Windows 95/98 drivers. Do not buy this printer unless you are willing to keep around a Windows 98 computer with which to use it.I've bought my last Canon product.

The only limitation on this excellent little printer is the photo sizes. However, contrary to some other models, this unit will print panoramic(4x10) photos as well as 4x6 prints. You can connect it to your television as an external monitor and tweak your pictures or add borders, or you can print an index sheet and decide which you like off of that. Plus, if you use it with a camera that uses a digital print order format( canons and some others) as I do, you can decide which photos you want printed directly from the camera, then insert the card into the printer and press print. It couldn't be any easier! As far as print quality, it really does rival those of a lab, and the paper feels just like it as well.I used it over Christmas for a huge family get together. We would take photographs with my camera and have them printed in minutes. It's not every day that we get together, so it was really great to let everyone see the photos before they were ever printed on the tv screen and have them choose which they liked. I sincerely recommend this printer for anyone with a digital camera!
