Love, love, love this camera! I also ordered Bryan Peterson's book - Understanding Exposure - great book!!! The stabilization on this camera is fantastic!! Able to take extreme handheld close ups.

this camera is easy to hold & it takes great pictures. Very clear. I have not tried the video yet. But I expect it will be the same quality. So far, I'm quite impressed.

I love the color saturation and exposure of this camera. The 50x lens is a marvel. I've taken a few photos at 100x using the digital zoom hand held and am amazed how sharp the photos are.Night shot does a good job on cityscapes and foreground shots, however due to the short exposures, forget astrophotography.

We bought this right before our trip to Bora Bora. We are so happy with it. It is a really amazing camera.

It has all you can desire from a camera of its price and level. The RAW format is now supported and that is a must in this type of products.

This is a very powerful camera and it will take me a while to learn how to effectively use it. I bought a pistol grip to go with the camera. The pistol grip really helps. I just took some amazing pictures of a full moon. Could not do that with my Canon A720. The camera is well made and I handle it very carefully because I don't want to drop it. The software on CD from Canon is terrible. I have an older version of the software and it works very well. The new version just does not work very well on my older Windows XP computer. Probably need a lot of memory to run the new version. Overall, I am very satisfied with this camera.

The reason I bought this was to have a viewfinder. I take pictures outdoors and sometimes its difficult to make out what you are really taking a picture. This camera met my needs and does way more.

The problem I have with the camera is that it doesn't work well with my hands which are small. In holding the camera, I am pressing on control buttons and changing settings I don't mean to change. I don't like the swingout screen as I moslty shoot with the evf and have to stop and open the screen to review. The photo quality is similar to my Lumix DMC-FZ35. In spite of the akwardness to use, I would buy this camera again for the awesome zoom.

I like the vivid color, the crisp focus and the ease of operation. Low light shots are difficult. Still learning to use the camera.

Excellent camera, very powerful zoom so I can take pictures to distant airplanes and landscapes with very good results. Zoom Framing Assist and the image stabilizer works remarkably well. I highly recommend this product, great price and quality, and I will enjoy it during many years taking pictures and videos of many beautiful places in my country, Colombia.Thank you amazon.

I got this about a month ago and am still working on figuring out all the options on it. I'm very impressed and have only had to do post processing once or twice to correct the white balance, and that was due to taking pictures of a snow-covered mountain on the high end of the zoom.

We brought this on a safari in East Africa and were glad we did. It took excellent telephoto shots without blurring thanks to the anti-vibration feature. This is a very sophisticated and complex instrument that we are still learning how to use. You can, however, start using it at once in the auto mode with great success.

This is a GREAT camera! I do a lot of amature wildlife photography, and have an 8 year old who is in sports. I wanted something with a great zoom, but also a FAST burst speed. I could not find a camera who could do both, especially in a PAS. I was going to get a NIKON with interchangable lens,(not a pas) but am on a budget and could not really afford the camera and kit lens, AND an extra zoom lens. I found this camera by accident in a local store, did a lot of research, and decided to try it!I LOVE IT! It does EVERYTHING I need it to do. I also love the video feature. I am an amature archer, and used this camera to VIDEO myself shooting so I can improve on what I need to. This camera does it all!In conclusion, BUY THIS CAMERA if you like macro, zoom, video and more!

Great camera. Tough to get accessories at reasonable prices. Having problem finding adaptor ring that fits the lens for filters.

Best All-In-One camera I have ever owned. I live on a ranch and need zoom for many wildlife photos and this camera does not disappoint!! Have not tried the macro or other features, I do know the photos I have taken are sharp which is of upmost importance to me. And recovery time after each photo is so much better than others I have owned. I am very pleased with this purchase!!

This is a great bridge camera. I own a Nikon DSLR and a Panasonic point and shoot.I was looking for something with a big zoom, so when i did not feel like taking the DSLR I could leave it at home and take great pictures.The zoom is simply amazing. Picture quality outstanding. Menu system good.I will not go into any technical specs as i think they have been covered by other reviewers.But i do have a feeling my point and shoot and DSLR are going to take a back seat as this becomes my everyday shooter.Get this one you wont be disappointed.

Good telescopic lens. Battery does not hold a charge very long, especially if you are filming movies.Overall very pleased

I can't say enough good things about this camera. I primarily use it for taking videos and it is fabulous. I use a Mac and upload to YouTube. No problems with compatibility
