Великолепно
this camera is easy to hold & it takes great pictures. Very clear. I have not tried the video yet. But I expect it will be the same quality. So far, I'm quite impressed.

I love the color saturation and exposure of this camera. The 50x lens is a marvel. I've taken a few photos at 100x using the digital zoom hand held and am amazed how sharp the photos are.Night shot does a good job on cityscapes and foreground shots, however due to the short exposures, forget astrophotography.

Out in the field, I need to be always ready for the wildlife that can pop up at any time but, in between, I need to be able to capture decent landscapes. After using the SX50 outdoors for about a month, I have to agree with the other reviewers that find the SX50 is awesome for small birds. However, the landscapes are mostly disappointing -- not nearly as good as the SX40. I haven't done much macro work with it yet so don't have an opinion on this. I'm hoping that an SX60 comes out in 2013 that combines to best features of the SX40 and SX50 as I detest having to carry around 2 cameras or switch lens.

This is a very powerful camera and it will take me a while to learn how to effectively use it. I bought a pistol grip to go with the camera. The pistol grip really helps. I just took some amazing pictures of a full moon. Could not do that with my Canon A720. The camera is well made and I handle it very carefully because I don't want to drop it. The software on CD from Canon is terrible. I have an older version of the software and it works very well. The new version just does not work very well on my older Windows XP computer. Probably need a lot of memory to run the new version. Overall, I am very satisfied with this camera.

The reason I bought this was to have a viewfinder. I take pictures outdoors and sometimes its difficult to make out what you are really taking a picture. This camera met my needs and does way more.

I bought this camera for the 50X which I use for birding and It works very well for telephoto. It has many features which I have not tried out for other purposes. The problem I have with the camera is that it doesn't work well with my hands which are small. In holding the camera, I am pressing on control buttons and changing settings I don't mean to change. I don't like the swingout screen as I moslty shoot with the evf and have to stop and open the screen to review. The photo quality is similar to my Lumix DMC-FZ35. In spite of the akwardness to use, I would buy this camera again for the awesome zoom.

Much faster than previous Canon's of this series. I do note the artificial limitation of ISO on long exposures. That is really about the only thing not to like about it. Maybe if enough of us complain to Canon about it they will change their minds?

The Canon SX50 HS is a awesome camera, firstly by its amazing optical zoom of 50X, price, image quality, controls position and others, recommended (by be a bridge camera) for amateurs, in my case graphic designer.La Canon SX50 HS es una cámara impresionante, principalmente por su increíble zoom óptico de 50X, precio, calidad de imagen, posición de los controles, entre otros, recomendada (por ser una cámara bridge) para aficionados, en mi caso diseñador gráfico.

Excellent camera, very powerful zoom so I can take pictures to distant airplanes and landscapes with very good results. Zoom Framing Assist and the image stabilizer works remarkably well. I highly recommend this product, great price and quality, and I will enjoy it during many years taking pictures and videos of many beautiful places in my country, Colombia.Thank you amazon.

It feels great knowing that the camera in your hands has the best digital camera zoom ever made. Battery life is fantastic, ~60% more than the next-highest zoom camera (Nikon P510). That camera, the NEXT-HIGHEST, has 8x less zoom! This camera is truly in another class!As for future versions, both the main screen and viewfinder should get a resolution boost. Resolution is important when zooming in on small objects, and I've had a slight problem with that. Also, more megapixels is something I would pay for.Besides the small resolution and megapixel issues, this is a great camera. I can't stop having fun with the zoom!

I got this about a month ago and am still working on figuring out all the options on it. I'm very impressed and have only had to do post processing once or twice to correct the white balance, and that was due to taking pictures of a snow-covered mountain on the high end of the zoom.

We brought this on a safari in East Africa and were glad we did. It took excellent telephoto shots without blurring thanks to the anti-vibration feature. This is a very sophisticated and complex instrument that we are still learning how to use. You can, however, start using it at once in the auto mode with great success.

This is a GREAT camera! I do a lot of amature wildlife photography, and have an 8 year old who is in sports. I wanted something with a great zoom, but also a FAST burst speed. I could not find a camera who could do both, especially in a PAS. I was going to get a NIKON with interchangable lens,(not a pas) but am on a budget and could not really afford the camera and kit lens, AND an extra zoom lens. I found this camera by accident in a local store, did a lot of research, and decided to try it!I LOVE IT! It does EVERYTHING I need it to do. I also love the video feature. I am an amature archer, and used this camera to VIDEO myself shooting so I can improve on what I need to. This camera does it all!In conclusion, BUY THIS CAMERA if you like macro, zoom, video and more!

I love this camera because of its mega zoom. If you have to travel abroad this is the camera to bring instead of bringing your SLR.Also bring a spare battery and Flash just in case you shoot indoors .. not good for sport activites though.

Best All-In-One camera I have ever owned. I live on a ranch and need zoom for many wildlife photos and this camera does not disappoint!! Have not tried the macro or other features, I do know the photos I have taken are sharp which is of upmost importance to me. And recovery time after each photo is so much better than others I have owned. I am very pleased with this purchase!!
