Великолепно
This was a replacement for a four year old Canon--and it's wonderful. The 6x zoom is significantly better than the 3x. The stabilization works wonderfully well. The additional pixels preserve more detail. The 720 is also small enough to fit conveniently in my pocket.

I have done a lot of research before purchasing this product. So I had really high expectations to start with and the camera did not disappoint. It comes with a lot of options, modes and features like Image stabilization and face detection. If you are looking for a point and click camera, this is great and you are looking for a little optimization, its all there too. It is a good mid range camera. The pictures are all very sharp and clear. Would recommend to anyone looking for a decent mid range camera for a cheap price. If you want a really good camera, SLR is the way to go.

I bought this camera in anticipation of a trip to Costa Rica. This is my first digital camera, and I wanted something similar to my old Point and Shoot 35 mm.
I'm extremely pleased with the quality of the pictures. The colors and clarity are awesome. The software that comes with the camera enabled me to zoom into the pictures to get some amazing closeups of birds and other animals. Once I got used to the camera I found it easy to use.

Chose this unit based on reviews. Wife had smaller, thin camera and left it somewhere. This is not a big camera but is large enough that it is harder to leave behind. LCD screen is very large and nice. Easy to read controls, pictures have been excellent.

I actualy own the A710 IS which is basically the same camera with a 7.1 meg. chip. I bought this camera about six months ago for $235.00, good price at the time. I bought it for my wife to snap pictures durring our last two vacations, Alaska and Europe. I ussally use my old S.L.R. Never again. I'm going digital. I just down loaded about 2000 pictures that my wife took with no thought at all to what she was doing (point and shoot) and the result were unbelievable. Even the bad pictures became acceptable after editing. The only bad point was the slow recylcle of the flash. Today $50.00 less and one meg more it's a no brainer. Buy it.

This camera takes great outdoor pictures or indoors with ample lighting. Shutter and refresh rates are quick and shots are crisp. Low-light situations, on the other hand, require a shutter delay of up to two seconds, and refresh rate is just plain slow. Also didn't realize how big the unit is - not really pocket sized, but my fault for not researching better. Consumer Reports rated it highly albeit with the low light caveat, but I'd think twice if I had the choice.

Overall I am very pleased with this camera - it takes nice clear shots - particularly out doors. I've misplaced the manual (which I need to read) but most of it I've worked out. My only gripe is that indoors I don't like it. Parties, dinners, etc...with flash I get a lot of red eye and without is pretty blurry...so this will simply be my out door camera - until I can work out if it's pilot error or just something that this camera's not good at! I do like the outdoor shots and stich assistant. It's taken some spectacular shots around Scotland and Loch Lomond so overall, as I say, I'm happy.

I'm still in the process of learning how to use this camera, but the first thing I noticed in the first few pictures I took was the lack of quality - there was some graininess and artifacts in them when viewed at actual size, especially in the dark areas of my photos. With this camera, I believe the trick to taking great pictures is to photograph bright, colorful subjects, such as a crowd of people, etc. I'm glad this wasn't more expensive, because then I'd feel kinda cheated. Overall, I give this camera an Average rating.

I bought this bag because it was small like the powershot camera I bought recently. I wanted something small which would protect my camera but not increase the weight or size I was carrying around with me. This bag is just right for the powershot range - being only larger than the camera itself so that you have protection but not have a large bag to carry - thus keeping the compact size of the camera. I was impressed with the little pockets which can hold memory cards and more importantly batteries.
Well worth the money if you value your canon powershot.

Bought this camera for one specific reason, vacations! My DSLR is just to big for every purpose. I wanted something to carry in my pocket so I could be "hands free". But, I didn't want to have to compromise picture quality. I purchase several other 8 mega pix cameras and took them back because the pix wasn't good. Yup, tried to save a few bucks by getting a camera for less money and it taught me a lesson. This Canon has great reviews and will get a workout right off the bat in Huatulco....

So far seems to work well and is a handy size to carry. I'm not sure how much good the image stabalization does as seems to have no obvious effect when viewing through the lcd monitor even on max telephoto. The flash recovering time is excessive if one does much in the way of indoor flash activities. It is about 5-6 seconds. Personally I don't care but if one takes a lot of flash this camera is not a good choice. Except for the puzzle on the stabalization I am satisfied with the camera.

Excellent camera but the door on the battery/SD compartment is balky when trying to close it. Obviously, have to be careful because busting the door means a useless camera. Could have been better designed, as it was on earlier models Still, I rate it highly.

I have this camera for almost 2 months.It is my third camera to own and the best. The pictures are perfect.The night setting worked great in a low light restuarant party recently.It is a little bigger than my other cameras but will still fit in a jacket pocket.The only one negative thing about this camera is the next shot flash delay, I would recomend it highly. All the setting are very easy to use.

I've loved this camera so far. It's a little slow displaying pictures after you take them, but other that that I really don't have any problems with it. I love the size of it, and it takes some really high quality pics. I would definitely recommend it.

I think this is the best camera I have ever owned. I have owned an AIPTEK video camera, a Nikon N-75, Canon AE-1, Canon FTQL, and Rolei 35. The pictures this camera takes are almost identical to the Canon A570 I bought for my daughter. It is very hard to take a bad picture in the "AUTO" mode. It works especially well in low light. It does use up batteries, so use rechargeable batteries. The Canon software is fast and straightforward. This camera has so many features I could never use them all. However, I think "AUTO" works great, even when very close up. Videos produced by this camera are also very good. It will take a while to learn how to use all the features. The manual is pretty dense and takes a while to digest. All in all, a great camera!

Like all digital cameras, you really have to read the directions and use the camera to fully appreciate its sophistication. However, it even works great with just knowing how to turn it on and take a picture in the Ph.D. (Push here Dummy) mode.

This camera is all we expected and more. It is easy to use, takes very clear pictures, and is small enough that we actually take it with us. The 6X optical zoom sets it apart from most of the cameras in this class.

This is my second Canon A series camera. The camera is simple to operate, has a great 6X zoom and takes high quality pictures. Only negative is the relatively slow flash recycle time of 4.5 seconds. Large LCD display is great even in bright sunlight. Canon has been a very good suppier to deal with for questions or problems. Very easy and fast to speak to a human.

I purchased this camera couple days ago because of the reviews it has on other site, and i can tell you they were'nt lieing. Canon A720is lives up to the its name. I took shots in a pitch black room and am suprise at the quality,along with red eye reduction,shutter adjustments,full manual control of every thing, this is a great buy. It also has DOF which is great if you want to be creative. I actualy killed the batteries the first day i got it so invest in some rechargables. There's video playback at 30fps at good quality and a setting for every moment in you life.
Pros: really darn good camera and its suprisingly small
cons: you don't have one so go get it.

I had an older Canon that worked great until one day the display went black and couldn't take pictures. I had such a great experience with Cannon so I decided to look at just Canon's. I wanted one that I could use AA rechargeable batteries so that's why we chose this one after much research. This camera takes great pictures BUT the recycle time is soooo loooong that I miss out on great photo opportunities. I never expected the recycle time to be longer than my old camera because it has newer technology. I'm not sure I'd buy this camera again knowing that.

Delivery, price, and setting up the camera and software was very easy. The ability to pick it up and take pictures without a lot of hassle was excellent.
The zoom feature is very good. Framing pics takes some practice after having used an SLR for 30 years; but not difficult. The transfer of the pics to the computer was a snap and the auto feature of improving the skin tones work flawlessly.
We choose this because of the larger memory and the zoom feature because as amateurs we travel a lot (motorcycle) and take pics on the fly.
