I purchased this as an upgrade to my Canon Rebel XS and I am very glad I did. Well put together, easy to use, awesome.

Canon is the best photo camera,I recommend it, it's easy to use, with a good size and take the best pictures.

I know I bought it a couple of years AFTER it came out, but I LOVE this thing! Hope to use it more and more!

Great intro to DSLR! Takes amazing pics and is somewhat easy to use. I had watched several "getting to know your camera" on you tube prior to receiving the unit so I knew what to expect. I had a few other lenses and accessories from an older SLR and they mounted perfectly. The major difference between this model and the 70D is the number of megapixels and the ability to use wifi to transfer pictures. I didn't think I needed either and saved roughly 100 bucks.Works well, would highly recommend!

I needed a camera since I wanted to use it the old school way Manually and WOW this has more features all in one.Still getting use to it and a class is greatSo advanced from the days of my Yashica FR II

...when I bother to take it with me. Actually, it serves me best when connected to my telescope for astrophotography. I only wish the mirrorless model (EOS M) had the remote connection like this one does.

Great camera. Really exceeded my expectations. My debate was either the Canon T3i, o the 60D but i'm really glad i ended up going with the 60D.

I did not get the SD Card which is shown as free ... Is this some kind of a joke .. I am unable to test the camera ..how can i test the camera without an SD Card ...

This camera performs well in well lit situations. Unfortunately if you have to bump the ISO (in manual mode) above 1000 your (or my) photos come out with grain...which I hate! But all and all its a great camera - I use it daily!

I am very happy with the quality of this camera. It came highly recommended by friends and I was not disappointed.

This is my first DSLR after using a sony DSCF717 and F828. I am absolutely happy with the choice. I recommend getting the body only and buying first the lenses that fit the subject you will shoot most often. This body is comfortable, durable, and the ergonomics of the buttons are nice.

I love the camera. Got it with a 18-200 zoom lens. Great pictures and video. Only fault is that it is a little heavy.

I loved my first 60D so much that after three years of hard use my replacement camera was the same model. It took me from amateur to pro. I now own a 5D Mark iii because it fits my needs better for low-light and sports photography, but if not for that would have never upgraded from the 60D

The flexibility that this camera has provided has allowed me to capture everything from model portraits to HDR landscapes - and beautifully! Is it for beginners? Sure, as long as the beginner uses the programmed settings. If the adventurous photographer wanders into the manual settings and the pictures aren't turning out as planned, chalk it up to a learning experience.In other words, this camera will not make anyone an artist but it does it's job extremely well. Canon has taken the simple concept of a light box and added a beefy CMOS panel, vibrant color processors and more. ...On a more personal note, I believe that a photo is never complete until it's been to the darkroom (aside from instamatics, it's always been that way - digital processing is no different).This technology provided me with the opportunity to take my photographic experience to the next level.I love shooting with the 60D and I recommend this camera to pro-amateurs and pro-hopefuls.

My early Christmas Present to myself, and absolutely love it. My favorite feature is the Articulating LED display screen. I use this to shot action pictures of my daughter in all her activities, from Girl Scouts to Soccer game EOS t2i, and the 60D has the same DIGIC 4 image processor. That was my biggest incentive for this Camera, that and it's durability. My t2i is still going strong and is now my back up camera. ​

I'm not sure why my previous review was rejected; it met all the guidelines. Anyway, this is a great camera. More than two years after buying it, I'm still loving it. I'd previously used the Rebel XT and XTi (350D and 400D); compared to those two, this is a world apart.

I often have to cool my images in Lightroom to get natural results. There is frequently more yellow in my pictures than I like. Does anyone know how to fix that?? I have tried all of the settings from neutral to faithful. Landscape is just way too intense and oversaturated. Most of the settings are oversaturated to me. What gives?

Gift for grandson. He's very pleased! Just getting into higher tech photography and it has many features he was looking for.

So far i love it. Good quality and i got it for easy cheaper than in stores. I would recommend this.

After a year or so, the rubber parts started to peel off. Had to glue them.The camera is great, and image quality is really what I was expecting.

Camera:The camera is great. I don't like the feeling of the buttons though, but I guess you need to get used to it. It's a sweet deal for around $600.Seller:The camera didn't have the plastic layer over the screens, which is kind of suspicious for a nbrand new camera.The package where they sent it was almost open, the bubbles that protect the box were out of air (3 out of 6 bubbles), so I was highly disappointed with that, but still, the camera works fine.

I have had this camera , mated to a Tamron 18-270, for 18 months. It is a marginally decent day camera only. Low light to dark on any setting results in zero performance. I shoot birds during the day and flying squirrels at night. If you want to capture anything at night, besides a rock, buy some other camera. If you shoot birds in trees, you will need 100 shots to get 1 decent picture. The focus ring squares are white and get totally lost in any background . Trying to talk to Canon about issues is like shouting in the wind.

Excellent pics . I feel like i should have spent a bit more for the full frame d5 . Will consider an upgrade with in the year. Rock solid build quality though
