Best Budget All Round Wifi Ac Router
For the price this is a robust router from an reputable brand. Only con is it lacks asus smart connect (basically this allows only one ssid and the router connect to the client using the best available connection 2.4 or 5G), if you don’t need this feature and are happy managing dual ssid’s then get it and you will be happy with your purchase. Signal strength is not amazing but good coverage for a 1800sqft house with some blind spots really far away from the router. You can connect multiple devices (i have around 24 device) and you will not experience any problems.

disappointing
AiDisk function is a gimmick. It doesn't work mostly and even when it works, its not user friendly UI.
I can't beleive some of the Asus apps (like AiDisk) on Android are super buggy and crash immediately after opening.
If you're considering this model for accessing contents of your USB drive /harddisk over wifi network, Don't.
You're better off buying an entrylevel NAS and a mesh router.

Doesn't have a good range
I went for this router after reading so many good reviews but I am disappointed because of the poor range of this router. Forget about getting a good signal on another floor, I get a weak signal even on the same floor without a complete wall between the phone and router. On the other hand I get a good signal from my free/cheap Airtel router. Please avoid this router.

Worst product from worst seller
Product delivered on the fist time is in the good shaped and in working condition but the 2.4G and 5 G band signal was dropping frequently
Hence I had to return the product you can see the product on the replacement in the picture
The product send by the seller appario was worst in my Amazon experience most of the parts were missing and package is damaged completely and the router they send is the used one

Latest firmware have issues. Better to avoid.
The router is generally fine but the latest firmware released on July 2020 is buggy. Internet connection drops every now and then. Hopefully the problem might be fixed in a future firmware update.
At this stage, its better to avoid this model look for other models.

Good:
- No problems with range (for a moderate 2 BHK)
- No problems with speed (ISP claims 50mbps, I get 50 mbps over WiFi)
- Works well with many devices
Bad:
- Does not have repeater functionality

Not a repeater router
Which router from Asus doesn’t have a repeater mode ? This one . It’s sad that this one doesn’t have a repeater and not too thrilled about the range too and even sad is the fact that every time I had issues with electronics were I want to go for a better ASU’s router unralize Amazon doesn’t have a refund.

Great Wifi Router
Good Product. 5ghz band is enough for a 1100 sqft flat. Mobile app is mostly useless, all features can be controlled by getting into browser and typing router address. Speeds are stunning if you have a true 100mbps connection it is a good product to compliment that speed.

seamless with 7-8 devices connected, good coverage using it across two walls but still gives me good speed without connection drops.

Range issues specifically
Heavily facing Range issues in just 1 floor above @my PPoE connection. I have 50Mbps connection and due to this limitation I am not even getting 20mbps in the area where I am getting this problem. I got this router 2 days back and for me router is ok from speed perspective but range spectrum is too short.

Asus 59 Very Very Bad Product not worth money
WiFi signal beyond 15 feet is very very low. Return request is not allowing refund it's directing replacement. This is against law. Arrange refund don't want replacement.

Signal strength should have been better
WiFi signal strength between two consecutive rooms separated by wall is poor. Installing and configuring is simple.

No more connection drop
I used to get internet connection drop out issues with my old router. So I have chosen this as this has dual frequency and MIMO support. No more connection issue after switching to 5Ghz band.

Excellent Router!!
Constantly I am getting above 200 Mbps with my Act fibernet 200 Mbps connection0. Go for it. You won't regret it. It can easily cover 2000 sqft house with three bedroom.
