I already had one so gave my sister one for an early Christmas present and I don't think she has set it down except to go to work. She absolutely loves it as I do mind great purchase well worth it

The best tablet i've used. Get the 16gb one, no need to get it with more memory. there is enough storage space in the cloud. I've been using my since last Christmas, without any problem, the light weight definitely feel better during longer time use than the standard size ipad. I'm getting another one in 16 gb for my wife. Little expensive, but you get what you paid for!

My toshiba thrive tablet died and I had a square trade warranty on it. I got a full refund for the Toshiba Thrive and decided to get an ipad instead. I love the ipad way better! So glad I upgraded. Its heavier than I'd like it, but for what it does, the weight is not a big deal.

My hubby is still learning the product but I was surprised that my non-computer literate husband loves it. Wish the users manual was loaded and office suite was visible for him.

Replaced my previous mini iPad mini with this newer version. Noticed some increase in processor speed especially when downloading from internet sites. Like the form. Find it easier to travel with and take to meetings when a laptop is not needed. Have a 10" Android when larger form factor is needed but find this suffices for 90% of the time. Would definitely consider replacing with the same form factor in the future. If you require a larger table then 10" or larger is suggested, but this tablet makes no excuses. It functions well for what it is designed for. For me this has afforded me optimum portability and function.

Back when the iPad mini first came out, I read many reviews that bemoaned the lack of retina display and it only having 512Mb of memory, but I bought one anyway and adored it. For the year I had it, it traveled everywhere with me and I never saw these as limitations. Unfortunately, this unit was lost during a recent trip to Central Asia, so I decided to upgrade and get one with retina display and 1Gb of memory. Here's the thing: I really don't notice the difference. In fact, all I notice is that it's slightly heavier, slightly thicker, and the battery wears down a bit sooner. So if you're torn between the two, I'd go with this one again, though I'd probably get the 32Gb version as my 16Gb version was just about full when I lost it.

Product arrived one day early, and looks brand new. In the description he wrote there were a few scratches on the back of the Ipad but it looks amazing. Thanks for making this so easy for us.

Thank you Rocker Jakes for providing a great used product! I liked buying from Rocker Jakes because they refurbished and reset the iPad so it was like new when I got it. This iPad Mini was JUST what I was looking for and I use it all the time. Have not had any problems with it at all and am enjoying it very much. Rocker Jakes customer service is top-notch too!

very great starting tablet. In my experience with my first (ipad 2) this one surpasses it with camera of course with a isight 5mp but also with comfort. with its 7.9 inch display I can easily hold it without doing hand gymnastics and without worrying of dropping it. great condition and makes the experience better with ios 7. I'm on my ipad more than my computer other than making music but I use this ipad along with my sets in clubs and perfect for sampling with tractor DJ. highly recommend for beginners in the tablet industry because apple has experience in making tablets. battery is amazing! the only dislike for this item is the fact there aren't many accessories for lightning cable yet but display is perfect as well retina display would be good but no tablets perfect!

I am an Apple person and I really like their products. The IPAD MINI does not disappoint me. This is a great item for using just for reading, or watching net flicks and direct tv on. Its small but not too small. I also using it for tempos in a pit orchestra and its great for that...again not too small but just big enough. I am very happy with it.

Ipad mini 2 is good. but the sad story is that ipad mini3 is coming and apple adjust the mini2's price.... I should wait for a while, then I can get it with a lower price....

I love everything about this tablet. It's clean looking. Easy to use and it saves my iPhone a bunch of memory. The main reason I bought it in 32 is to put all my entertainment on it. And it has worked flawlessly. I have no complaints about it. Sure it isn't as fast as the new iPad retina mini. But I'm not a complete nerd so it works great for what I need it for

I gave this to my 7 year old for his birthday in September. He is in love with it! He plays Minecraft and watches Netflix on it. This has been his best present ever!

I actually bought my iPad mini at Wal Mart last year and I love it! I use it everyday and I'm really impressed with it. The screen looks great and the battery life is pretty good. It's great for school and online browsing. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

Of course I love iPads but there is no need to pay for this price right now for the first iPad mini where you can have the latest 64gb for about $100 more. I returned mine.

I am enjoying my iPad mini. The clarity of the screen is fabulous. I got it mostly to read on my Kindle app but also check e-mail and favorite websites. The battery life is great. Since I have a Mac and iPhone, everything is synced. It fits very nicely in a purse so it can go everywhere with me.

I made the mistake of purchasing the iPad mini, mainly because it was more compact to fit in a briefcase. It had great reviews & such, so figured it would be a functional tablet. And it probably is for playing games, music and things like that. But it is really lacking as a tool to use in business.
The iPad mini, & I have no reason to believe the iPad is any different, comes without an office suite, a way to easily transfer files from a PC unless you use the Cloud or the iTunes Utility, which for security reasons cannot be used in my business, & few apps are without a cost. In this world, people often have multiple platforms at work & home. Even in the app store, there is no direct link to business apps. You must search for everything. With lots of time, searching & frustration at times, the tablet is now functional. I will not go into the lack of multitasking & other small inconveniences.
Trying to get a manual for this unit was another treat! You would think it would be included on the desktop as a PDF file. Every Web search to find a User Manual lead you to links to other sites wanting you to download their PDF, Anti Virus or some other tool bar software. When I finally found a manual but it was specific to the iPad even though the internet search said it was a manual for the iPad Mini. Still haven't found anything very specific to the iPad Mini that I own. I will use the iPad with iOS 6 manual and hopefully it covers everything if there are differences. With Android Tablets it is just a matter of searching for the word pdf and the tablet and up comes your manual. Apple has to tie everything into collateral sales by linking with everyone.
Paired with a Bluetooth keyboard, it is easy to put in data & I would recommend adding one. I also find a stylus works better than a finger on this tablet. Thankfully I got the 64G mini or would be in trouble since it is not expandable with a Micro SD card. Bad for consumers who have to pay more for this & only good for Apple's bottom line.
I could go on about the iOS vs others, etc. but it comes down to having setup & used a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 in a few hours & I saw how easy it was to use, I would never recommend an iPad Mini over the Galaxy Note 10.1 for business use if your business is Windows centric rather than Apple based. Transfers of data is painful when you want to share between the two operating systems.

Its fast, screen is good, but speakers mediocre. However, I was unable to find a browser that would properly re-fit text into the screen edges when enlarged. My android has a very good after market keyboard. Also, Opera classic and even Opera mini have very good text adjustments for size and width but not on the mini.
Accordingly I use Nexus 8 as work horse, and Nexus 7 for fun since it is like something out of science fiction. For audio books I use a Vizio 8 [$75 refurb] because it has best speakers of any tablet I have or have seen. And thats quite a few.

I have the iMac & iPhone 5 so I felt it was time to add to the family so i decided to purchase the iPad Mini w/ Retina. I am very happy with my purchase. The iPad Mini with it's blazing fast processor and crystal clear graphics makes it hard for me to put this device down. I tend to use this more than my iMac at times. The battery life is incredible, it can go days without a charge. The iPad Mini proves that extraordinary things STILL come in small packages! I hope this review helps with your purchase decision.

The colors are beautiful. I play games the candies, fruit & other items are vibrant plus they are easier to see.
My pictures didn't transfer when connected to Wi-Fi. My contacts moved to the new device from the cloud.
