This works great and is a replacement for a cord that I misplaced or lost. Would highly recommend for home use.

The new slim plug as well as the new cable length works much better than the original. The changes allow you to plug the device in and still be using it without huddling around the receptable.

Charger works great. I can charge it on my computer or use the AC adapter, so it is very convenient. I can also use it in the USB port in my car, so I don't need a separate car charger.

I've been waiting for this product for two days and when it got here I was so amazed at the speed. I had forgotten to order it when I purchased my Kindle Fire. I read a lot and this USB cable will help me to store my books in a different location so that I can make more room for more books. It also helps me to download updates for my Kindle Fire so that it will be up-to-date and performance better. I'm very happy to have it now and have been able to add and subtract things to my Kindle which allows me to customize it to my style. Its a must have item for the Kindle Fire.

I needed to replace my husband's USB cable due to a problem with the outer wire covering. Without any hesitation Amazon sent one right away and free of charge. They were very nice on the phone with me and assured me that we would have a new one in a day or two, and it was received like they said..Thank you Amazon again for great service.

My original cord was defective and Amazon graciously replaced it with this one. I'm very grateful and so very happy with Amazon's service. I'd highly recommend Amazon to anyone and ALWAYS have glowing reviews for them.

This USB cord does not work as a USB device. It will not connect the information on my kindle to the computer or vice versa. This is the second replacement cord I have received for crumbling previous cords, but the USB part of it does not work. Do you not try this out before sending them to customers? I'm very disappointed in this particular product. The first one crashed my computer twice. This one does nothing but charge my kindle.

Ordered the USB cable for my Kindle Fire to transfer documents from my computer to the Kindle Fire for travel purposes. The cable worked great and I was able to transfer several books along with the documents. Good purchase.
