It works just fine as I expected for what it cost. It could be twice as long too. It's a little stiff.

I bought this for myself because i play my kindle long periods of time and now i can play while it is charging wouldn't be without it i can sit on my favorite chair and cord still reaches as it did not before.

My current kindle 3 charger started disintegrating. When I contacted amazon customer support about this, they sent me a new one for FREE! But it has SUPER slow shipping. I ordered this like, before halloween and it is still not here, so I can't finish my game of Battleship on my kindle.

This cable came up in a search when i was looking for a new charger for the kindle. The Cable works just as it should, but you can't charge a Kindle Fire that way. So I wasn't useful at all for what I needed it for, and I was unaware of that until well after I purchased it.

Had to replace the original cord due to a short in the wire. This replacement works fine hope I get more life out of it than the original.

Having recently received a Kindle Fire HD as a gift, I knew that hooking it up to my computer to charge it daily was not going to be convenient. That's when I found this little jewel along with the Kindle Fire AC charger. And they both work like a DREAM!. My desk stays uncluttered and the cord allows me to keep the Kindle plugged in while I read in bed or listen to music. It's well worth the price for the convenience it provides!

After my dog chewed off the business end of my original Kindle power cord, I went to Amazon to order a replacement. Tempted by a private seller offering a used cord for a third the price of a new one, I ordered it. But the shipment never arrived. The seller, honorably, returned payment. Instead of going this riskier route again, I ordered a new one at full price. It arrived within two days and is performing its job as expected.

I had a problem with the kindle wire that came with my kindle. Amazon sent me this one right away and took care of the issue. The old one would not sync with my laptop, but it did charge. Great response, Amazon!

I purchased this item because my charger cord that came with my Kindle fire kicked the bucket and I do not know why; except that I am not the only consumer with this problem. So, far this USB cord has worked and feels sturdier than the original and allows me to use it with various USB adapter.

My cable that came with fire had been giving me a lot of problems. It didn't seem to fit right and this one is snug in the fire. So much easier to use and was replaced FREE. Thank you Amazon & customer service.
