I really like having the USB with the plug. I think this should come with all Kindle Fires because it is nice to connect to my computer.

It works just fine. The cord lets me read in bed so the Kindle doesn't run out of charge while I'm reading.

I had only had my kindle for a few months and the cord went bad. I don't know what went wrong because I've only used it a few times. However, they sent me a new cord free of charge. I've only used it twice now and so far no problems.

The product is great and does exactally what it is susposed to do. For the Kindle Fire it is great as the cords for these products do not last long and now I can purchase just a cord and not have to purchase the charger also.

Prior to my move I had been very careful to place my electronic charging implements in a readily identifiable container in a priority box. When I could not locate that box in the first two days, I immediately ordered another Kindle Micro USB Cable. I have not yet found my original cable, but when I do I will be thankful to have one in my travel bag, and another to use every day. I highly recommend - for your peace of mind and the well being of your Kindle - the purchase of a spare Micro USB Cable.

When I first received the cord and tried to use it, my computer said I need to have a disc to use it. But the other night I hooked it up to the pc and my Kindle Fire and had no problem using it. It did what it was supposed to do.

Kindle is still running out of battery juice within 3 hours. The cable did nothing. It must be the "battery" within the Kindle device that is the problem. PLEASE ADVISE.Thank you.

Works without issue. The only reason I opted for these over cheaper alternatives is that this cable is longer and looks nicer with its white coloring. The large connector is nice and stout (has a bit of a different appearance than many others, one that I find more appealing). The small end's connector also fits more snugly than most of my other USB cables. All told, these are worth the extra cost to me.

Like a previous reviewer, I went to use my power cord only to discover it unexpectedly crumbled overnight. The plastic casing over the wires was cracked and had fallen off in places. I saw that Amazon was providing replacements and called immediately. The customer service person was so helpful, mentioning that this was "a known issue", identifying the proper cord and providing a promotional price to make the replacement free of charge. With my Prime membership, I'll have the replacement cord in no time.Thanks Amazon!

This worked well to solve the charging problem I was having on my Kindle Fire but if I had one complaint it would be that the prongs fold in which is a hassel and it comes unplugged easily.

I love it. It is wonerful cable that fits a lot of my gadgets that I use. It fitted my daughters phone so I let her have the one I had before. But then I was totally lost with out it. So I ordered another one. Thanks!!!

I am tentatively giving the kindle cable 3 stars The white material on the first two cords disintegrated, even though I had not used them very much. I hope the white coating on the wires has improved.

As so many others have commented, the original cable that came with my Kindle crumbled and exposed the wires. This is the perfect replacement and, so far it seems to be a better quality.

The cable does speed up the charging of the Kindle Fire as opposed to the cables that are used with the regular Kindle. IMO, it shoud have been included with the purchase of the device, along with a plug/charger. Seems like everything is a la carte these days though.

I ordered an extra cable to use with my car charger since I use my kindle fire hd so much. I didn't want to get caught traveling without it. My car charger has dual connections, so I can charge both my phone and kindle at the same time. Don't leave home without it!!!

The great advantage of this cable over the original is that the cord detaches and can be plugged into a USB port on a computer. And you can still use it on a wall outlet. Best of both worlds.
