The card is as described and works perfectly. Although not the fastest card on the market, the write speed is quick enough that it can handle my camera in burst mode without a hick up, and have enough space for the large file sizes.

I purchased a pair of these while they were on special. Unfortunately these are not compatible with the Nikon D800 camera, they cause hangs and lockups. Fortunately I also have a Nikon D7000 and they work as expected in that body and are plenty fast. Seems the D800 is very finnicky when it comes to SD cards. I've always had good luck with Transcend cards and I understand several other brands of cards cause hangups with the D800 so it must have something to with the processing system Nikon used on that model.

To be honest, I have not tested its' speed by any software, so I cannot say how fast it is.However, I, at least, am sure it works fine with Sony HX200V.

I've been putting this card through its paces for nearly a month. I've shot hundreds of photos and haven't lost any. Transfer speed is about the same as my other class 10 cards. Basically, it works and continues to work--it's the best compliment I can give for an SD card. (I'll update this review if anything changes.)I've discovered the hard way that reliability is important. I've owned Transcend cards for years, but a few years ago I decided to buy much more expensive "professional" cards to shoot a wedding. I also bought a portable hard drive as a backup. I stashed the Transcend cards in the back of my bag and worked with the other cards, backing them up as they came out of the camera. Good thing, too, because one of them failed that night, despite the fact that it was safely stored and suffered no damage. I still have my Transcend cards from those days, and they're just as reliable (if a bit slow by now--they're class 2, and still in use in other devices.) I expect this card to last just as long.If you don't own any SDHC cards, you should check to be sure your device will support them before you buy. Beyond that, I have no problem recommending this card.

I purchased this for my daughter's new Canon T4i and it's exactly what was needed. I'm not a techie when it comes to SD media, but my brother had said to make sure whatever I got was fast so there's no lag in the camera. This was the lowest price of the fast cards and I'd buy again. She transfers her photos onto a hard drive nightly, so I'm not worried about the SD failing. And for the price, if it does fail I'll be happy to replace it with the same brand.

Haven't had any problems with any of them, and have taken thousands of images on them (I'm a part-time professional photographer; mostly weddings). In general, I think Transcend cards tend to be one of the better deals out there for flash memory. Would I rather have the name Sandisk or Lexar on the cards? Yes, for peace of mind, if the price were the same. But it's not (for an equivalent product). And I think that's the point. These work just about as well, *and* they're reasonably priced.SPEED: Using Atto Disk Benchmark, I had consistent read speeds of 80 MB/sec and write speeds of 45 MB/sec using the USB 3.0 connection on my SSD-equipped laptop and the Kingston USB 3.0 card reader. That's pretty good. My standard class 10 Transcend 8GB card only gets 20MB/sec read, 14MB/sec write.Keep in mind that this card is only faster than a standard class 10 card when used with a UHS-1 compatible device (a USB 3.0 card reader, etc). If you don't have one of those (most people don't), a standard class 10 (or even class 6) is likely to perform just as well, and at a much cheaper price. I have a Nikon D5100 and when shooting in RAW the buffer had a hard time keeping up, so I would miss pictures because the camera was still writing previous pics to the card. My camera is compatible with SD UHS I, however I did have to update the firmware first. The camera kept saying the card was corrupt after I'd take a few pics and stop. Note that there's another Transcend Class 10 SDHC for about 10-12 bucks less every day. This one that is labeld UHS1 is faster and will enable maximum frames per second writing images from camera buffer to memory card. This all-purple face is the easiest way to distinguish this one from the mostly blue-face of the other Class 10 card from Transcend. I've been using Transcend cards in my Nikon D80 and Nikon D600 for some time and have not had any failures so far.

It's a SD card that reads and writes quickly.I have previously used Sandisk SD and CF cards exclusively, however with my new Canon G15, I needed a larger SD card with faster write speed than anything I had already. I wouldn't have considered the Transcend except the Sandisk wasn't in stock.I received the Transcend SD card and the packaging was considerably easy to open. A cardboard envelope containing the SD card, some literature, that opened with just the pull of a zip strip. The price was about half that of the competition and seems to work quite well.

I got the class 10 SD card for filming HD video. It works great and it stores a tone of information. Transcend has always been reliable for me and I've never had a problem with it. If you are looking to film HD video I wouldn't go below a class 6 card. I use class 10 to be on the safe side.

Works great...haven't had any issues yet. Depending on your need, it works great in a tablet or netbook if you need some space for apps and what not. In a camera, even at high resolution, you can get a few hundred to a few thousand shots (seriously, I have a 16gb for my snapshot and I have about 5000 shoots in highest resolution JPEG). Would recommend these if you find them on sale.

Read - 23mb / write - 9mb top speed.I trust this company completely over about 5 years now .Its more reliable that Sandisk ,I think...This card a bit faster than @6 speed=(6mb/sec) so... my HD 720p video came out without lagging,and i think even colors are richer too ;)

The card works fine in my SLR as long as I don't shoot too quickly. My camera has 24Mbyte picture files and if I take pictures too quickly, the camera will stall waiting to write to the card. For most point and shoot cameras, this card should work just fine.

The card works fine in my SLR as long as I don't shoot too quickly. My camera has 24Mbyte picture files and if I take pictures too quickly, the camera will stall waiting to write to the card. For most point and shoot cameras, this card should work just fine.
