I have been researching the net for a replacement for my aging Turtle Beach X3 wireless headsets tied to my Xbox, and after a few weeks of learning, ordering and trying a few different brands, these are the keepers!Well manufactured, solid, and they look "all business". Very light, in my opinion compared to the Astro A40 and TB HPX, tried both, and both are returned. Large size velour ear covers, much more comfortable than say, the vinyl on my X3s. I like the fact that the PC360 series has on-board controls for volume and mute (very slick on the later, as all you do is pivot the boom up until you hear and click and it's muted), a shortcoming of the HPX. I have these connected to an Astro Mixamp at the moment and all is rocking with solid bass and great separation (I can pinpoint an enemy whether 2 or 5 o'clock, very nice). The open design allows me to hear hear the phone while keeping my ears cooler than my X3s. I did run the PC360s overnight for 12 hours, attached to my Mac playing iTunes to break them in a bit. I have read that this allows for a broadened range of highs and lows....and I can say, I think it worked.I have them connected via the digital audio optical out on the back of the XBOX. As a note the cord is long enough, I sit about 8 feet back from a 50" LCD, no problems. If you use a Mixamp, the cables/cords are all included with the Mixamp to get these headphones connected to your XBOX. Not sure about a PS3, but my guess is they will work as well.Shipped overnight delivery, and received a free FiiO E5 Headphone Amplifier and a $10 discount on the headsets, overall a great value if you're a serious/semi-serious gamer. I did rate the comfort a 5, although it took a few hours to get there, like a good pair of shoes, it takes a bit of time to break them in. Overall they were a "4" for comfort, but then I realized that I had the adjustment fully extended and they were putting pressure just below my ears...some pain. Once I tightened them a bit, so that the weight was resting on my head all was good, since they are so light.Overall, very satisfied.

I bought these for the mic so I could use for training videos. They do sound good but they are light weight and appear cheaply designed. After only a 3 months of use and never moving them from my desktop one of the ear phones stopped working. (yeah tried the usual moving the wires to look for short, appears it is a faulty ear piece)They have never been spilled on, pulled on or dropped. Just seems to me for such an expensive headset that should not have happened. Now I have to wear one set of head phones for listening and these around my neck to use the mic.Third product from Sennheiser to fail and they used to make such great products....what happened?

I was leery about spending this kind of cash on a headset, as I have a tendency to break a headset every 3-4 months. However, after over a year of use, they still work great. The sound quality is pretty decent, but Im no audiophile. The mic is very clear. The headband and ear pieces are comfortable to wear for extended gaming sessions. My only complaint is that your ears get a little warm after awhile, but its not worth knocking off any stars for that.Buy these, you wont be disappointed.

The frequency response seems better than some of my more expensive dedicated headsets, and I've had no complaints on the performance of the mic. Excellent value for the money.

I started looking for an awesome headset for LANs and as a secondary pair (to my ATH-AD700). My Icemat Siberias finally broke after 5-6 years of use (fatal!ty rests its soul). I didnt care for all these non-flexible headsets that are branded by the big names in gaming headsets. Finally, I found these, the Sennheiser PC350. It looked to have everything I needed, but was it everything?Tested: Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Team Fortress 2, Heavy Metal Music- Pros: Sound quality, Mic Quality, Noise Canceling.Putting them on for the first time, the sound quality for gaming was pretty nice. The bass was surprisingly good as bullets went off, near and far. The attached mic is flexible to a point. There is a part of the boom that is flexible so you can move the mic closer or farther away from your mouth. The only downside is that its not detachable, which is not a downer for me.However, the sound quality for music was a bit lacking compared to my 700s. I have heard that open headsets are better for sound quality and now I hear why. This is not just an audiophile thing, you can hear the difference. The music sounded a bit distorted and the initial bass only helped create a headache.As for the noise canceling, it does a good job for a closed headset. The downside though is that I am used to being able to talk to friends close by while gaming. This requires one side off my ear at all times, otherwise I will not be able to hear them. However, if you are tired of having noise all around you while gaming, this can help greatly.- Cons: Comfort, For some, the build quality feels a bit flimsyAgain, putting them on for the first time, it almost immediately felt wrong. Before adjusting it, it started to squeeze my head. Once I did adjust it, that did get rid of most, but not completely. As for long use wear time, I would say about 2-3 hours. Beyond that, be prepared for a headache or sweaty ears from time to time. As with any closed headset, it does get warm after awhile and your ears start to get hot.The build quality is better than most that I have seen, and could most likely take a decent amount of abuse, but I would not push it. The reason this is a con though is because my 700s feel ALOT more solid than this.Overall: Sadly, they did not replace my ATH-AD700s as my primary pair. My 700s are just too comfy to let go. However, these Sennheisers do stand up and are noticed for gaming.

In 2006, I bought a Sennheiser PC 150 Headset for about $35 dollars, and it lasted me about 4 and a half years, giving me great sound quality and making me sound great through my mic the entire time. It took 4.5 years (and 4 apartments) of abuse, and finally started having problems with the wiring - the right headphone stopped working 100% of the time. I just replaced it (in May 2011) with the PC-151 (the 150 was replaced by this) and so far I'm loving it.It has a volume control and a mute on the cord. My main use for it is to talk via Ventrilo, but I have also used it many times for phone calls - both personal and business (using Skype and Gmail). It plugs into the Headphone and mic slots on my computer (the cord is several feet long though if you need it to travel farther), but i'm sure that if you wanted to go through a USB you could find a cheap connector.The earphones do not completely cover my ears, so I can still hear what is around me (so I can hear if my wife is trying to talk to me, or if something else loud is happening that I should probably pay attention to), but they cover them up pretty well and they do a pretty great job. I can wear them for quite a while without getting tired of them - they stay on great but don't squeeze too much.For the low price, I'd say these are a great value.

I have owned a few headsets, Plantronics gamecon 777, Razer Charcasis, Triton Tech AX720, and these things DESTROY all of those. The PC-350 out perform in every aspect, sound, comfort, build quality and looks.What I did was to break them in, at like 70% volume I let them play music when ever I was not at the PC. after about 2-3 days, they sounded better then right out of the box. Base is not BOOMING, but it's crystal clean and sounds great, Playing games you dont want BOOMY base, you want clean clear base. With these at $150, you CAN NOT go wrong. Get them and Get them NOW!

I use this headset with both skype and google voice for business calls. I hear everyone else crystal clear, but people have a little bit of trouble hearing me. Everyone thinks I am on speakerphone. It wouldn't bother me if it weren't on business calls... but there's significant room for improvement on the microphone.

Pros: *Comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. *Great sound qualities for gaming with the 7.1 surround sound on. *Tone Quality for music is great.Thoughts:This headset is a great gaming headset the sound is clear and can hear the enemies from whatever direction they come. Also great for online gaming, the voice quality is fantastic and comparable to Turtle beach and Razer headsets that I have owned. This headset also works great for VOIP calling.They take a few days to burn in for the best quality, they are corded but the cord is long enough to allow free movement while Gaming or working.Cons: *Burn in takes about a week *Headset is small at first and needs some time to adjust to being stretched.

On these headphones, the other reviewers are right, the headset is uncomfortable for the amount of money that is being charged. The actual head band is plastic and can be "bent". This is what I did to "loosen" the grip it has on your head. After I gently found a non - critical area around the top, I stretched it out to fit better. After that - they are very comfy for extended periods of time.I am not a fan of the side volume - but it does work. I can see the benefit regarding not having to find a volume control somewhere on your desk in the dark.Music and sound effects are excellent and had a great time playing some FPS games with the new headset. VOIP calls sounded good and the person on the other end couldn't tell I was on a head set ... so all good there.The ear cups do seem a little small too ... I guess I may just be used to the big ol' style. I also think the big ear cups are more comfortable ... just my preference I guess.Anyway - to summarize: good headset, but needs a mod to work well. You may decide on a cheaper pair to deal with your headset needs.

Speechless...these are AMAZING!!! Listening to the sound of Mp3's, games, movies--it's clearer than I thought possible.It is hard to get used to the over-ear headphones after using earbuds for so long. I can see why some people might find them binding, but for me, they fit just fine. (I do wear a small or x-small motorcycle helmet, though.) I love how one of the ears flips backwards so that you can listen with one ear only if you need to.They get good and loud, and the clarity is just mind-blowing. I have no complaints on the sound from the microphone.I have a pair of Bose, high-end Sony, and now these. These are by far the best.The packaging is really impressive, too. Everything is packed so well, and very "expensive-looking". The directions are short and clear, and drivers installed with no problem. The USB cable even comes with an extension cable. The on/off switch is cool with the blue backlight when it's in the "on" position. I love the details that Sennheiser put into these headphones. From packaging to the trim-work, these are head-turners.

Researched a lot of review on this type of headphones and price kept falling so I pulled the trigger. These are for my wife and her on-line class, and she says the audio quality is amazing and are very comfortable being an over the head type. She found the behind models to require too much ajustment while trying to concentrate on the lecture. Hasn't use the mic yet but assume equal transmission quality.

I am using this headset to record mp3s. You could call what I do "podcasting".I am VERY pleasantly pleased by the sound quality after trying five or six other set-ups that disappointed me.I do still need to do "denoise" my file, but the overall sound quality is great, AND no environmental noises coming through.

These headphones are great. The microphone is really clear. Sound quality passed my expectation. I am a nightclub guy so for my opinion on sound level is that they should've made it a little louder but for non-clubbing people there great headphones.

First, this is indeed a USB headset;someone uploaded a picture of a different model(with the two 3.5mm plugs).Also, it has a mute / volume control on the (8 foot!) cord.I'll upload a photo.Because I bought this headset for voice recognition,and recording video tutorials,the low quality headphones are not a problem.I would recommend looking for something elseif you want high quality sound for music orFPS gaming.If your main interest is the microphone,I can definitely recommend it.I get very accurate voice recognition with Dragon Naturally;and clear sound quality when recording with Camtasia.Update:I don't have small ears,so while this headset is light,the padding is thinthus I'm not comfortable wearing it for long periods.I also tend to irritate myself with the cordwrapping itself up (it doesn't want to become straight).

I bought this thinking my headset had broke but when I got it, it worked just the same, very low sound. I checked my computer settings which i realized was the problem, not the headset. Overall its a great Headset for the Price!

Before I bought these, I was going through headsets every few months - from the likes of Creative, Turtle Beach, and Logitech. All of them were lacking in build quality and basically fell apart from normal use.Not so with this Sennheiser headset. Build quality is amazing, and sound is excellent. They may be expensive, but they can take use, and are definitely worth it.

I bought this pair after my LOGITECHs USB connector broke when I pulled it out of its USB port. This one doesnt use USB so it hopefully wont rip and the sound doesnt suffer, as a matter of fact THE SOUND IS A THOUSAND TIMES BETTER. I can now do my transciption work a whole lot faster. For 39 buck its a steal of a deal (amazon).

These headsets work well and are generally reliable. As with any headset, try to be careful of letting the wire get run over a chair because over time, it will inevitably damage it enough to require a replacement.

I've had Sennheiser headphones for years. Generally I prefer their "on the ear" rather than "around the ear" types.The main criticism of these "cans" is that the the over-the-head band is too small, but it fit my head fairly well and did not hurt at all. Nonetheless, I would like to see more adjustment in the headband. I found the actual ear cups a bit small, however--I had to stuff my ears into them. If you have tiny ears, you're all set.Overall build quality is very good, with a nice flip-forward/back feature on the right ear cup so that you can hear local sounds. Sound quality is quite good.Unfortunately, I could not test the software because I'm a Mac user. I used the phones and mic with my MacBook Pro and they worked great.The microphone boom looks like it would break if you bent it into a more usable position, but it bends fine.The volume control is very stiff and needs more "grip" than just the small dimple. It can be moved with one hand with difficulty, two hands more easily.

Just like the title says, I couldn't ask for more.When I bought these, I researched for about 3 days. I don't even know why...I mean it's just a headphone with a mic so you can talk on Skype right? But I decided to do the research and buy the right one first time.Well, I received this in Afghanistan to talk on Skype with my family and friends. It pretty much did its job and kept its reputation as a Sennheiser.Not only it was comfortable, adjustable (mic boom), long enough to walk away from my computer, the sound quality was pretty decent. I was actually surprised by how well it played songs for being an inexpensive headset/mic. I used to to listen to music, movies, and whatnot. I even set my pair of Etymotics aside to use these most of the times.The cord is a bit sticky though....I guess it's the type of rubber, but I didn't like the feel of it at all and it was like a dust magnet.Pros:-Does what it says-Quality materials, the connectors didn't break the entire deployment-The sound quality was surprisingly awesome for a on-ear headset/mic-Fit, I thought it was very comfortable-I guess the mic worked great because my family said it was crystal clear on their end-The long cord allowed me to move about immediate area to reach for something if I neededCons:-The cord being a bit sticky...but that's a minor issueConclusion:Great stuff.
