I like this headset. I purchased it to be able to add audio and listen to sound on web recordings. I record my trades (stock) so that I can study them later for improvement. The old headset I was using made poor audio recordings. This headset is 100% better than the one I was using. The sound quality is good just listening and the microphone is very sharp and picks up sounds well. I speak low when I'm recording so as to not be loud for others in the house/room and the audio still sounds clear and crisp when I playback the recording. It is adjustable to fit various head sizes and fits comfortably on mine. Overall, I am very satisfied with this headset. It doesn't come with spare ear pieces but for the price and quality I'm not complaining.

I just wanted to put out a word of warning to people interested in purchasing this headset. The sound is excellent, as is the microphone. The lining for the ear covering began to degrade about 6 months after purchase, and the foam around the ear enclosure is rough and of low quality. Roughly a year after purchase, the mic began to intermittently pick up signal from the earphones. Two months after that, the left ear of the headphones completely failed. I've never had headphones with such mediocre workmanship, and I've certainly never had headphones fail so quickly.To top it off, Sennheiser will only honor the product warranty if you have an original receipt for the item showing it was purchased from a small list of chain and large name retailers.

If you want a good headset than get the Earforce11x for a fraction of the cost. I couldn't hear anything hardly with this set. I'm so dissapointed and pissed I could spit on my screen. Total wast of money..........

I am really happy with this product!! I really like the sound quality for the price, and it works way more than adequately for IM video chat, (which I bought it for).What surprised me when I got it was the sound that came out of the headphones. I am really satisfied listening to music with these. I listen to classical and jazz with these and they sound as good or better than my more expensive headphones.When I do video chat with these, my friend can hear me really well on the other end and I can hear her as well if not better than she can. They weren't overpriced either for what you get. I really like that I get the most for my money with these.My only con, which can be also a pro, is that the headphones are extremely light. I don't know how long these are going to last, but I think, with care, these will last a long time. I really like the weight as well for long term wearing, as they won't weigh down on my head.I also like that the microphone is adjustable. The way they came from the factory is not ideal for conversating online and I found that the adjustability is really nice... :-)The price is really nice too, so I don't feel like I'm breaking the bank with these for the sound quality they produce...Overall I rate these a five...Vernon

Sadness, there is no driver for MacOSX, as of August 2nd, 2011, so for me they are just stereo headphones with a mic.No 7.1 sound for mac users.

The sound quality is wonderful and I haven't had any problems with the mic, but these are very uncomfortable headphones. Don't plan on leaving them on your head for any long length of time. They badly pinch my ears and it's fairly plain they weren't made with smaller people in mind.

I have gone through many headsets for my online gaming and have found these to be the most comfortable ones in the market.I first bought the Pc350 version but it broke after continous lifting on my right ear cup everytime i had to talk to my wife, this model solves that problem by allowing you to still hear outside noises while playingIt is pricey but worth it for the value and comfort it gives... if price is not an issue this is one of the best in the market

Highly recommended, and not only for gaming use. The microphone is very good and the speech that you can't make out in normal speakers are heard crystal clear with these babies. I highly recommend it for voice chat, too!

I got this headset after reading many reviews for a variety of kinds. I liked what I saw and loved the price so I got them. The sound quality is great and the microphone is very clear (even a little loud friends said). I'm not super careful with my things and they've held up so far this month (I'd hope so!) My only complaints are that they are tight on my ears and they feel they are going to slip off if I don't position them just right. These could just be due to my own head shape and sensitive ears, and the fact that I'm gaming with them so they are on for hours at a time. Taking breaks every hour has seemed to help, and I would still highly recommmend these, esp for the price!

I own a few headsets (Logitech Pro, AD700,Sens595, TBx1,x4) I play competitive level for Call of Duty games and Halo. Before I purchased the pc350 I was using my Sens 595 or my AD700 with the zalman mic. The sound stage is great BUT the issue is the mic. I have a fan or ac blowing in the room not to mention my two dogs, the mic picks up that sound. I need a more versatile and adaptable headset w/ mic. The AAI found the PC350. The first time I used it i thought this headset was terrible. I read posts on audiophile sites and one big thing is you have to burn it in. I have never believed in it, I always thought it's a myth BUT it works. I connected my PC350 to my spare PC and just had it run hours and hours of music (ranges for hip,hip,rock,house music,ambient,white noise) make sure it's random. after 100+ hours I cannot believe my ears it's like a total different headset out of the box with booming highs,lows,mids and bass (YES is said bass) +I use an ASTRO MixAmp+. Also, is see in hear people giving negative reviews for music? who cares, this headset is made for GAMING. To me the sound stage is EXCELLENT just like my ad700 and the mic is super clear. People online tell me that my voice is the clearest that they have ever heard from anyone. The exact words was "my voice sounds CRISP"note- mic on this DOES not pick up my fan nor my dogs. If you have a soft low voice or you whisper the mic will not pick it up. You have to talk "normal" tones.Anyways, I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any question)\ps: as far as negatives nothing yet so far

I have these on my head 4-5 hours a day and I have no problems wearing them this long. Sound quality is very good. I use them for Skype and video conferencing.

While I wish they were better at sound-dampening surrounding noise, these headphones are otherwise absolutely outstanding for high-quality sound performance with pc gaming and casual music listening. I am not a high-performance audiophile so I can't attest to any sort of professional-grade audio quality, but these rival the best speakers I've ever owned, and blow away any other headphones I've ever tried. I was very dubious of spending this much money on a set of headphones, but after using them any buyer's remorse I might have had was immediately evaporated. One of the best investments I've ever made in a pc peripheral.

The best one I've tested until now. Perfect for those people that need to hear music, make conference in a noise environment or with hearing problems. A very good hyperrealistic Dolby song. I read a lot of reviews before buying that and I'm very satisfied.

I just got the headphones yesterday. I've read the many reviews and I have a couple of initial comments. The lack of sound loudness was resolved by using the $7.39 Syba SD-CM-UAUD USB Stereo Audio Adapter, C-Media Chipset, RoHS. Plug the headphones into this adapter which plugs into your computer. With the increased volume, you can hear the great bass these headphones have. I have no issues with enough volume or bass.

As long as you have a powerful enough sound card, they're tough to beat. But my first set the left ear stopped working right before my 2yr warranty expired. Lucky me, they sent me a completely new pair. Unfortunately the left side crapped out after 6 months with only a 3 month warranty on returns. Far too fragile for the premium price.

I only use the headset for speech recognition and it is perfect for that. The cost was reasonable and the quality is excellent for the intended purpose. I also find the set comfortable to wear for extended periods of time.

Since "weak bass" was one of the consistent comments keeping me from getting these right away, I'd like to add to what a few have already mentioned. They require a decent soundcard or amp to really make them perform to their potential. Also, and this is nearly as important in regards to the bass output, placement of the ear cups over your ears matters a lot. Until I got them positioned just right, they sounded very hollow. So if they sound thin, definitely fiddle with them until you find what's right for your head. Luckily, they're still super-comfortable after finding the sweet spot.All that said, these are fantastic. Definitely the best PC headset I've used, and I've used a lot. Many returns and exchanges have taken place before I found a pair I liked in nearly every way. They're not perfect, audiophile grade, music-listening headphones, but they still do a great job for both games and music. For a gaming headset, the sound quality is certainly way way above average.The volume control is a bit lower on the cord than I'd like, but I rarely mess with that anyway. I grew accustomed to velour ear pads from previous Sennheiser phones I've owned, but the fake leather cups on these are still very comfortable. The beefy cord is much appreciated, as Sennheisers often have very puny ones. The mic sounds as good as any sets I've owned, but doesn't offer a ton of adjustment options. I was afraid that being so far away from my mouth would introduce more background noise, but there is surprisingly little.All in all, these are highly recommended for someone looking for a gaming headset that doesn't skimp on sound quality. If you're not wincing at the price tag, these are probably what you're looking for.

I got my set a few months back because Sennheiser actually released this baby in Singapore much earlier. Though it's pricey, i have to say, it really still does offer value for money given it's performance. I have many other mid/high-end consumer level headphones and earphones and these cans easily blow all of them away. Surprisingly, they sound great even hooked up to lesser equipment like my HTC HD2. I used to run them on my x-fi extreme music but I've recently upgraded to a Auzen Forte 7.1 (which has a headphone amplifier) with a AD8620BR opamp. There was some improvement in sound quality but it wasn't really a great difference. Any half-decent soundcard should be sufficient to drive this headset. The plush oversized earcups are really comfortable and the open-air design means your head really does stay cooler. The clever mic boom mutes itself when stowed in upright position which prevents any unintended usage. Highly recommended if you can justify the price.

this is a great headset people talk about it not being loud enough but heres a way to fix it kind ofset your volume on high same with the headset volplay like i guess screamos or w/e or just rock something thats loudjust do that like for 3 days or something and it will start to be louder if you couldn't tell

I have abused this set for about 4 years, tossing it around, leaving it on the ground, stepping on it, yanking out the cord, sitting on it...and it has lived. It finally dies after I shut the cable in the car door and left it dangling for a week (I could probably fix it cause the wire just got frayed internally probably) so now Im buying a new set.

The sound quality for this headset is very good, everyone I talk to compliments the quality of sound. I wish it was a little better at canceling out background noise. Overall, very satisfied.

Sound is great, noise cancelling works great, everyone comments about how clear I sound when speaking, even very softly as I'm prone to do. It's very durable, but not quite as comfortable on my ears as everyone seems to think. I can still wear it for hours, which is a huge improvement over my last junk headset from Audio Technica.

I have been using the Sennheiser PC 350 now for just over 2 years and I must say that I enjoyed using this headset more than any I have had prior to owning them.I have owed 2 of the Razer Baracuda HP-1 headsets before this one and the comfort and sound did not compare to what I experienced from the PC-350. The comfort factor was awesome.. They were so comfortable I would almost forget I was wearing them when playing games for hours on end.My only gripe after two years of use is about the quality of the headset's material.After I had headset about a year I did notice the headband beginning to show some minor freying and the ear cup padding material showing some minor wear as well. I paid it no mind simply because I loved everything about this headset so much.Well during the next year slowly but surely the freying got worse and worse and then the other day I noticed the headband was coming apart as well.....I also noticed the material on the ear pads were completely worn out as well.I am the only one that uses the headset on my computer and I take very good care of my equipment.The bad thing about it is the warranty ran out at the end of April this year and I did not notice the headband coming apart unil May..... I also forgot they have 2 yr warranty on thse bad boys so they more than likely would have replaced them but I doubt they will do it now..... :-( Oh well my hats off to Sennheiser... Its has been a wonderful 2 years of awesome comfort and sound!!!!!
