Not New!!!! Go elsewhere!!
Described as new item, arrived with the seal tab broken on the box, no information booklet included and a scratch to the touch pad. Not impressed at all and the replacement won’t now arrive until 5th Jan 2019 - this was meant to be a Christmas present. Won’t ever purchase from this seller again.

Seemingly genuine, good product
I think like another review said, Amazon has seemed to pool reviews for other products together, as through my research this controller seems genuine and has no indication of being fake (without taking it apart that is)
I have only had 1 short gaming session with it, but everything worked as expected, the response was great and instant, everything felt smooth and not too loose. I will update this review if i have any issues with the controller any time soon, but currently it's all been great and seems genuine :)

I’m always losing it.
I bought the camouflage controller, so I can never find it. That’s my fault. Otherwise the controller is perfectly sound - looks like the newer version where you can see the controller light up colour through the touch pad which is useful when playing multiplayer. Really happy!

Not exactly what it says on the tin
Bought this as my main controller was giving up the ghost. Paid £40 odd quid cause I liked the design and it said good condition. When it arrived it was dirty (since cleaned). The controller was missing screws from the back where the cover had obviously been replaced. Controller cover is pretty flimsy and a light squeeze causes the controller cover to start opening up like it will fall apart. When i connected the controller and tried playing; i found that the right stick was automatically drifting upwards. Extremely difficult to play games where fine aim control is necessary (such as FPS games) because the camera keeps jerking upwards. Not sure if this is due to the way it was packed or if this is an old controller that was "refurbished" and sold onward. Feel pretty robbed.

Don't waste your money. All faulty
Bought this and one similar before, both faulty, wouldn't hold charge, returned the first one, it took ages my young son has been so sad we can't play video games together, so instead of waiting ages again to return this one, I replaced the battery and charge bit, and it's still faulty. I can't return now as I've opened it up and I've paid out more as a result! This is a terrible scam, during a global pandemic these people are taking advantage, I am utterly disgusted.

Not a genuine Sony product.
Would not buy again.
Terrible sticks and buttons feeling, and plastic casing doesn't match up.
They've actually peeled off a sticker from a real PS4 controller and put it on this one.
For £40 it's an absolute rip off.
Wish i could give it 0 stars.
You might as well just add another £20 to your budget and go buy a real one from Sony.
Would not buy again.

I'm never disappointed with it
I loved the previous incarnations of this controller but I love this one most of all, I bought the crystal version previously and decided the camo one was worth a shot (especially with the heavy discount included at the time).
I love the feel of this controller in my hands, extremely comfortable in my opinion and extremely responsive.
Only gripe I have is the light bar that will drain battery life during use, but at least you can dim it, which is better than nothing.
If you need a new controller, I'd, personally, always go official. I can't fault this controller, but I do recommend you care for them to ensure you get the best out of it.

Garbage in terms of durability, great when it works
This is my 5th controller - don't expect it to last even a year. Yes I play a lot, but I am not heavy handed or one of those people who throw their controllers around. Despite this, every controller so far has had the same issues within the first 4-8 months of using them - analog drift, L2/R2 buttons not responding to pressure, d-pad failing to respond at all.
To say that it's been a frustrating experience is an understatement. Anyone who did a little research knows that this happens mostly due to cheap/unreliable parts used in the production. I am tired of spending £45 every time my controllers start dying on me, and by now I feel like I've been milked because of the incredibly trash durability.
The sad part is that the only other option is to buy third party controllers, which don't come close in terms of handling. These controllers are never on sale even though Sony is fully aware of the issues. Make a controller that actually lasts a year for next gen.

one of the best i ever had
You know i dont usually say this, but this 2017 controller for PS4 is the best of its kined they friggen nailed it!. the buttons are flat enough to press sharp and resposive for any game, fighting, rpg, first person driving i could go on it is the beezniss. analog sticks moves equally as smooth, the feel in the palm is sweet and the colour is a yess. battary life is acceptable great controller currently my favorite.

Not sure if this is a fake but...
It works but if its fake i am paying for a sony device thats not a sony also sony i hate the price change it to 20 pounds as its not worth the money if the fakes can be well cheap you can also when i got the controller it was cracked and there was no wires with it they are cheap see you next Tuesdays. i will order again tho just to see if the next one is cracked but as least it works

Great when on sale
Even 7 years after PS4 launch controllers are expensive so when on offer at £36 thought should get a spare (since one of my existing controllers starting to play up). I have had usual colours, black, red, white blue etc so went for cammo for change, nice finish and happy with controllers. In my opinion PS4 has best controller design out there and at this price worthy of 5 stars

Good and great battery life
This controller arrived in 3 days and is great! The controls are sensitive like how I want it and the battery is much better than my previous controller. Only bad thing is the build of it as some parts are a big stuck out but other than that it’s good.
EDIT: After 2 months it now has a problem, whenever I press L2 it inputs the right joystick and makes my in-game cursor look up.
I've been trying to contact Playstation but the contact options are not clear and now I've got a broken controller AGAIN.

Fake controller - Don't buy
Product is definitely fake. The box is not the official box and was open despite being apparently new. The controller felt about half as heavy as my official controller and the sticker on the back with the barcode was wonky and faded.
Sent back for returns straight away, I didn't check that it was being sold by Amazon as the other controller colours are, the white colour typically is sold by a company and it's a knock off!
Don't buy the white controller unless sold direct from amazon.

DO NOT BUY Not a legit ps4 controller
I loved this and was hesitant to buy considering it was £74 all was working fine for a few months then the analogues stopped responding and was doing its own thing so as you do I went to playsation support to get it repaired to find out the serial number is not correct. From now on I will be checking the serial number straight away when I purchase a controller again

Don't know why on all these ps4 controllers people are saying they're fake... this is real. doesn't come with a charging cable to if you're looking to get it working with a pc like me then you'll need to buy a long charging cable and don't bother getting a bluetooth dongle for it, it doesn't work so well. hook it up with a charging cable for pc and you're good to go

Persistent drifting issues
The usual issue with PlayStation controllers, drift started off quite minimal, but only a year old and the controller is unusable. 4 PS4 controllers in less than 4 years!
I thought it could be my housemates mistreating them so kept this one safely in my bedroom on a stand when not in use. Still developed the same drift issue, not what you expect when paying £50 for a controller.

Some people find the light on the touchpad for these new style controllers annoying but I don't mind it at all. I really like the camo pattern, something different. Didn't realize how desperately in need of a new controller I was until I got a new one and used it side by side with the old ones! I really like buying stuff like this from Amazon. Sure you might save a couple of quid going elsewhere but the aftercare from Amazon is too good, any time I've had issues with something electronic they've been really quick to replace it or sort out my issue.

Stunning in red
Stunning. Red is the best colour. Works crazy well. The light effects in games (Witcher 3) is well worth it for me personally. Also the vibration really does add immersion (I never thought I'd say that). And Sony - why does the PS4 only come in black!? Where's the red?! Thank you!

Start drifting within a year...
Seems to be the way they all are now..
Still have ps1 and ps2 controllers wich work perfect .... pitty you can't plug them into ps4

Faulty L3
Nice colour - Just a shame after only using it for a couple of games the controller is faulty. L3 decides to do its own thing, it’ll randomly turn left. On battlefield, choosing a spawn point, Flying & running you’re literally fighting with the controller to stop it turning left. When I’m editing a clip, it’ll decide to rewind the clip at 120x speed. It’ll work fine for a while, then it’ll have a mind of its own.

Sleek looking color on the best controller out there
Love the PS4 controller and it looks damn fine in white. Bought this to replace a launch day black controller and the different is remarkable from responsiveness and comfort. If you have an old controller do yourself a favor and get a new one. Works with PC as well which is a nice touch.
