этот приемник очень приятно использовать, я очень рекомендую его.

It seemed to be a well received by most.
I've had several model Onkyo receivers in my Amazon cart forever,
along w/ a Sony 1040 and 840.
The Sony went on sale so I decide to give it a try and was really impressed.
I figured...wow! if Sony sounds this good, the Onkyo must sound ridiculously good.
So, I ordered the Onkyo 818 (which cost more) and heard both of them side by side.
Well...maybe sound is a matter of fact, or maybe a matter of taste.
But, I was not impressed with the Onkyo 818.
I wondered if I was doing something wrong..., but I don't think so.
I use the Audyssey to calibrate the speakers 3 times.
And all the times, the sound was muddy, bassy, and compressed, even despite navigating and adjusting overly complicated presets .
Maybe this characteristic of sound is pleasurable to some, but not to me.
And it begs the question, is this sound the characteristic of Onkyo receivers?
I did the auto calibration on the Sony, selected the engineer preset, and it sounds great.
Crisp highs, tight powerful bass response, and dynamics that bring the picture alive.
Characteristics of IMAX sound experience, which is what I prefer.
Other things about the Onkyo 818 I don't prefer...
you have to turn the volume up pass 50 to hear anything,
the on board menus look antiquated,
It's humongous,
and not really user friendly.
I can't comment about streaming music, apps, and so on because
they are not important features for me (I use an apple tv)
My primary is really good sound.
On the other side of things...
The Onkyo does have many inputs and outputs, even a phono jack, zone 2&3, which is cool.
You can hookup 11 speakers or so, but can't play all at once, only a 7.2 setup.
So if you prefer a sound that might be inappropriately described as "warm" this
receiver maybe for you (perhaps one could play around with the eq/other settings
to brighten up the sound...but the eq is fairly basic tho and it's rather difficult to eq a vocal (center speak/voice dialogue) properly.
So needless to say, I return the Onkyo 818 and to add insult to injury, I was refunded $10 for return shipping on an Amazon fulfilled order, which I paid $30 so to ship back. But whatever...I'm content that I ended up with the better receiver and heard the difference with my own ears.

в 5 звезд-это легкий колл.

I set it up and then ran the Audessey EQ to set the room acoustics, this took around 10 minutes. It seemed to get everything about right, so it was good for me. I then downloaded the software update off their website and installed that via USB. That took around 30-40 minutes. Onkyo packs some of the latest and greatest into their receivers, and usually at an affordable price. One of the only gripes I have with Onkyo is the lack of Airplay, but they get around this somewhat with their iOS app, which is terrific, and allows you, among many, many, many things, to stream music from your phone. (If your receiver is hooked up to the internet through wired or with the (CHEAP! Money-wise) wireless adapter.) I couldn't recommend Onkyo's 1 series enough, it is just packed with features, and are often cheaper and better than some new ones.
I was also looking at Yamaha's Aventage A730, Pioneer's SC1223, and Denon's X2000. The Yamaha in my opinion is fugly, but I own an RX-371 and they are nice receivers. I read that Pioneer's Elite series doesn't get a warranty if bought online, which is a huge no no. Lastly, Denon's X2000 was nice, but a step down in almost all features compared to the 818. The X3000 would have been a better comparison, but when I bought this receiver for $700 the Denon was around $900!
Overall, buy these Onkyos while they're still available, they add power and convenience like no receiver I've ever bought, and are a great buy that I will continue to look at first when it comes to Home Theater needs.

я настоятельно рекомендую всем избегает всех продуктов компании Onkyo.
