I waited a long time to get this machine. I quit my gym so that I could get the Wii and work out at home. $200 is just around about how much it costs to go to my gym per year. I shopped around for the best prices and saw that Walmart was also doing a bundle but realized that with Amazon's free shipping (and no tax)- this was a much better deal.My order arrived in less than 2 days, even though I selected free shipping. Well done Amazon for being so on top of things. The black Wii looks really great with my TV set up. Someone mentioned the gray cord being an eyesore but you don't really see the cord because it comes out of the back side of the Wii. The body is really glossy and looks like it could be scratched up pretty easily.. so be careful with that when unboxing.I was disappointed that the Wii Sports resort disc/s were missing from the box (??!). I contacted amazon and they promptly sent out a replacement order (they can't replace just the discs.. ). No harm done. The other games I ordered have kept me busy and in shape (EA Sports and Just Dance).Two CONs1. I wished that the Wii had a better HD display.. some games look pixelated and blurry at times. It would be the perfect machine if it played blu-ray DVDs. Looking forward to set up the Netlfix function but am curious to know if the resolution will look okay.2. Does not include charging station. would prefer to use reusable battery methods vs. going through disposable kinds. If you buy the wrong kind of battery, it could leak and mess up your controller. Who uses batteries anymore these days?Overall, I am really happy with my purchase! Motionplus really adds to the experience. Also two thumbs up to Amazon for their great service and prices.

Let me just say that for overall family entertainment from a game console, Wii is tops and beats the competition. It's games are less confusing to learn. It's controls are more simple to use than competing game console systems. And the games the system comes with are perfect for family fun time (i.e. - Bowling, Baseball, Archery, Basketball, and sooooo much more! The system is easy to setup, and there are tons of games available for the Wii. The black console with silver base is my favorite because other TV accessories are predominately black and/or silver in color. Therefore, this black Wii system blends in more nicely with TVs, cable boxes, DVD platers, etc. than the white one and especially better than the red one.

Sorry for the people who like Wii, but the controllers have to be a certain distance away from the sensor.Sometimes the buttons don't work because in a game it said I was traveling, but it was the remote.Also, in another game, it wouldn't let me hit the A button.I think, even though I've never even played it, the Kinect is so much better because you don't even NEED a controller and you get way more excercise than just swinging a remote around and almost braking something, like the tv its self.Sorry, but if u disagree don't listen to me, but your wasting about $200. I think the games are pretty fun. Making the Miis is also pretty fun, but they don't have any arms. I mean what kind of people dont have arms. Even gamecube, which is an old game(sorta), the peolpe have arms.Again, I'm sorry, but your wasting money.At least spend your money on something that works.:) Thank you for reading BlooBloo10

*I do not own this, but I do have Wii sports.*Ok, so basically Nintendo is trying to re-sell Wii sports. Dont get me wrong, its not a bad game, but if you have a wii, how do you not have this game? Ok, so you dont have it but you want it. I wouldnt pay $20 for it. You can buy Wii sports cheaper than that.I'm not saying dont get the game, I'm just saying that you can get a better deal elsewhere. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!If you want Wii sports, buy it, but not this product. It's a ripoff.

Wii Nunchuk Controller - BlackI bought this item from gizmosoutlet and I highly recommend that you don't do the same mistake I did. The product which was supposed to be an original arrived as a generic product in 3rd party packaging. I bought two products and one was broken and the other worked for two days and broke too.I asked for my products be fully refunded or replaced but with no results. The vendor asked me to ship which would cause me even more costs than the money I spend on those worthless nunchucks.In other words, don't waste your money.

Its a great piece of technology and a very well thought concept to have in a video game console. The games are casual friendly and overall its easy to use. I also like to add its built like a tank but hey thats nintendo you know your getting quality with them its expected. The games included are fun but I recommend getting on extra controller or more its up to you to really get more out of the games.The only personal gripe I have with it is the sensor bar I dont like it and Its a annoying to keep an eye on.I got it under 200 its solid console with fun games that will remind you why you play video games in the first place, to have fun.

I bought this for my son's birthday and I wish I would have bought it years ago. We are not a gaming family but everyone loves this system. The day my son got this we played for 4 hours (caution: your arm will be sore the next day if you don't switch every now and then). My husband and I even play after we put our kids to bed. The set up was so easy I was able to do it in 15 minutes. The directions are specific and easy to follow with illustrations. The system itself is easy enough to navigate that my 6 year old can do it. Even though the Wii is a little pricey it is worth every penny. This game allows my son to burn off energy when it is raining or too hot to go outside. Since we live in South Carolina a lot of afternoons are too hot right now but the Wii never gets old. There are so many options on the Wii Sport and Sport Resort. I know the package with the Sport Resort is a little more than the original Wii Sport but it is such a better game. If I would have bought the package with just the original Wii Sport I would have been very disappointed. For every individual sport offered there are several different playing options. Defintely buy additional remotes. The only thing I wish I would have known in advance is to play against other players on the Sport Resort every remote has to have the Wii Motion Plus accessory. The Wii Sport doesn't require it but the games are also not as varied. We will be playing this for many years to come and are planning on buying the Wii Fit Plus for Christmas.

It's only ten bucks so why get the best one right?! Compared to 3rd party versions, this one has the best quality control, didn't feel flimsy, fit great (have you tried others?!?) & no scratches on the Wiimote. This a no-brainer, LOL!

I bought the Wii to share with a friend of mine, both for fun and for fitness. When I unpacked the game system, I was shocked to find that the stock cable supplied was only a video cable with right and left audio. I really thought it would have HDMI capability.Reading the user's guide, I discovered that you can upgrade to a component video cable, which would upgrade the color and picture somewhat.I really thought that a brand new video game system, in 2011, would have had HDMI capability, particularly one that boasts intricate graphics, sound and the ability to stream Netflix movies.For that, I give it three stars. Otherwise, it has been an enjoyable experience. For the record, the stock audio/video cable does provide decent picture and sound. The component cable upgrade would be a quantum leap in picture quality.

The worst videogame i had ever buy, the graphics are terrible, i think my PS2 has better graphics tan that thing. Gameplay is ok for popular games like mario, but for wii sports is terrible ,specially in tennis, i cant play that game! you cant control your mii. After 1 month, you would use it to hold your door or books.If you like videogames as me, BUY A PS3 OR AN XBOX360!!! they have real graphics and games like Halo,little big planet, assasins creed, metal gear solid, gran turismo, forza motorsport, ps move,kinnect....Instead of buying this terrible thing.

This is the 2nd wii play I have purchased. My son has literally wore the first one out! The game arrived in a decent amount of time. I would recommend this game to anyone who likes to play the wii.

What a great item to add to our technology. I should have done this long before. It's far better than the video games and just visual television. It can be a single or family event. Even my young adult men beg and enjoy having me play along with them. This certainly didn't happen with PlayStation! It's humorous, can be competitive, and multiple players can play at the same time. Some other software and equipment can be easily added. I would recommend this for any family or person, young or old!

We ordered the Wii Hardware Bundle, Black with Wii Resort Sports which came with 1 Wii Nunchuk Controller & 1 Wii Remote Plus, and we needed at least 1 more of each of the Wii Nunchuck & Wii Remote Plus so we ordered them at the same time we ordered our Wii Hardware Bundle, Black with Wii Resort Sports, and it all came at the same time!! Wii to a clearer picture yes. Don't kid yourself in thinking you going to buy a cable and your ol Nintendo Wii is going to be HD. Its not an HD console so why would it be HD. Thats like watching a Blueray DVD on a regular television and expecting it to be HD??????? So get that out of you mind now. But, I got what I wanted out of these cables and that is a clearer picture. I got a HD tv a couple of weeks ago and it was the best worst thing that happened to me. I had to change my cable to Comcast HD to get a good picture and buy new cables for all of my consoles. That includes this on I'm talking about in this review, PS2, Dreamcast, PS3, and Sega Saturn. Yes, I am a hardcore gamer and I play them all lol. What a headache anyway thank God for Amazon and cheap cables. Enough of my personal ramblings, the picuture I get is much better than before. The characters on Tatsunoko vs Capcom look clear when the camera is not close up on them, I swear the sound is better but that could be my imagination. And yes they do work. So go ahead and buy these cambles and get your game on. Trust me if they where crap I would tell you. Lata

Like lots of game consoles the manufacture haven't worked out how to make money on this without selling copy written CDs that our kids smear peanut butter on and stick in dishwashers. Then, when we order replacement CDs they assume we are software pirates and charge us for replacements. It would be much better if the images of the games could just be distributed over the network(internet) and stored on our LANs so that we don't have to deal with CDs kind of the way software is managed at the companies we work at, maybe the mac address for the hardware could be used for licensing instead of the cd.

We purchased the Nitendo for our Grandkids so they could enjoy the same games they play at home when they stay with us. Set up was a snap, including on-line and Netflix. Delivery was fast and the package arrived not damaged.

The product came in what looks like a genuine Nintendo product's box, but the item itself is definitely not legitimate. It feels cheap; the stick is off-center and does not have smooth action; the screws are not the tamper-proof style that Nintendo uses; most damningly, the Nintendo logo is not present anywhere on the item itself.

While raising my boys (now 20, 24, and 27) I tried and tried to play their video games, but could never quite get the hang if it. Well, I never had TIME to PRACTICE! Now that they're all grown up, for my birthday - with their help, I got a Wii!!! What fun! I don't have tons of time to practice, but since I'm not running to events, practices, parent's groups, etc. I have SOME time.... The game is great. Intuitive (even for me) and fun - easy to set-up and learn. In no time flat, I was up-and-running with my personalized Wii-Mii (I think that's it...) and downloading games, playing games that came with the system, and scouring the internet/pawn shops for MORE games.I had my kids over for dinner not long ago. At the end of the meal I pulled out the controllers and we began to play. 3 hours later, I had successfully won almost every game. It was wonderful.:-) Probably not the review you were expecting, but there are SOME that will understand......I'm not a Wii Rock-Star! Woo Hoo!!! LOVE IT!

We bought a Wii shortly after they came out. Wales (grandson) played games so much, it finally wore out so we decided to get another. He is using it again. Of course, the rest of us do Wii Fitness so it gets lots of use. Amaon came through for us again.
