I got this for my mom because she was bending into the nintendo DS lite. When I herd about the larger screen I thought of my mom. She loves it and I see her playing games on it all the time. She loves the Brain age that came preloaded. If you know anyone with vision this is the one for you.

The DSi XL is the best handheld system I have owned. The large screen makes it easy to play and setting it for the internet is very easy. The only bad thing I have found is it does get heavy after a while, but this is something I am more than willing to live with.

I wanted to shop for games on the Wii but didn't want to enter my credit card number that way and I trust Amazon so I got the card to use through them and it worked perfectly. I had no problems getting the numbers off it, it was very easy to use on the Wii.

As you will guess this was a birthday present for my child.the extra inches on the screen is a plus to not cause a lot of stress on your child eyes.be careful since the big size makes it a little bit heavier.

I bought this DSi bundle for my wife for Christmas and she and I have both been quite pleased with it. The pre-installed games are simple but pretty cool. We have especially enjoyed using the Sudoku game. The kids (6 and 9) have gotten a lot of amusement from the sound recording and manipulation tools included with the DSi as well. Both the picture taking and sound recording programs are simple enough that even the six-year old was able to figure them out quickly and easily. The DSi itself works well. I like that it charges in a reasonable time (1.5-2 hours for a full charge) and runs for quite a while on that charge.

I bought this game system after some family had it and i played it with them, its a good game system, just not as good as PSP. The graphics arent as crisp or as good, the online experience isnt up to par with PSP, overall experience just isnt close to what the PSP offers. If you are looking for a good game system that gives you the touch and writing screen, however, this is the game system for you. I think it would be a good game system for small children because it does offer lots of learning and writing type games. A useful tool when teaching children to read and write and do math....overall a good experience with this product....have fun!!

In short WOW, the DSi is worlds better then the DS lite... I bought this for my sister who has been an avid DS player since the lite came out like 2 years ago and she won't put it down!! This bundle came with a few games and she hasn't stopped playing with it since Cheistmas day. If you are up in the air about whether to get this or the lite then go for this definately!! 2 cameras and a full web browser with wifi beats the pants off the regular DS I mean dont get me wrong if money is the issue then by all means the lite is fun but for a few more dollars with the same lifespan this machine is the way better buy!! I recommend 100% thanks Amazon!!

My daughter loves this game! Didn't stop screaming when she opened it on Christmas and hasn't put it down since. She is 8 years old and all her friends have one. Her brother and sister have enjoyed the few rare occasions she shares. The only problem we have had is that she can't figure out how to connect to the internet, but it is possible and we will conquer it. We bought the starter kit and 2 games she requested to go with it. She has used everything and so far has not lost or broken anything. She rated it a 5 and 5 when asked!Amazon had the best price (even lower than black Friday sales) with free and fast shipping. Excellent choice.

Really liked the DSi. It connected to our wireless system without any trouble. I wouldn't recommend this for regular viewing of the internet. It gives you multiple ways to view the web, but I didn't care for either. It does not play flash, so sites like You Tube are not accessible. The new application to morph pictures have been lots of fun. The games also play very well. I would definately recommend purchasing the DSi over the DS Lite if you're choosing between the tow. It may not be worth upgrading though unless you really want the wi-fi functionality and camera.

Kids were incredibly excited to receive the new DSi from "Santa", until we first turned it on noticed the top flip screen was broken. There was obvious color distortion on the screen with green streak lines. I'm only able to return the product for a refund, as the exchange was not an option. It was just very unfortunate and a disappointment for the kids to receive a broken product from "Santa". Overall, I was disappointed in Nintendo for delivering a defective product given the money we spent, and the crucial timing of the gift. Not sure if I'll take a chance online next year with the electronics.

We bought this card for our 7 year old son. He was able to download 4 games onto his DSi for $[...] and he likes all four games. You can't beat that - where else can you get four entertaining games for $[...]? Definitely worth the investment and it was very easy to download the games.

As always its an Excellent product for its price at Amazon.com. Larger screen is much better than the earlier versions (DSi Lite and the DSi regular).

Be careful when scratching off redemption area on card. When I did this 3 of the numbers were distorted. When I called Nintendo customer service they said the only thing I could do was send the card to them along with a letter in hopes they would credit an account for me. Seeing the card has to be activated for use Im not sure why they could not help me over the phone. I could provide them all the information from the card and my purchase. So, I'm not sure why a letter in the mail would be required. This seems like poor customer service on Nintendo's part. Still waiting to see if they will credit the points hope I'm not just out the money.

I loved being able to purchase the DSi Bundle on line. That saved us from standing in a mile long line, at midnight in the freezing weather! It was comforting knowing that it was coming to us! Thank you Amazon.comThe whole family has enjoyed the games and taking pictures with the DSi. I especially like the fact that you can use your own photos interactively with the games.Buying the bundle is the only way to go. Again it saves you from standing in lines! My time is worth alot these days!My daughter told me that this was the Best Christmas ever and I felt the exact same way!

I was tricked by the deal. It was too good to be true. The problem is when the system comes with preloaded games it takes up all the limited memory, so the Intenet wouldn't load or crash all the time because it ran out of disk space. I would suggest to everyone to always buy their games separately from the game system. Also, it doesn't come with the seperate game disk or instructions, so if you delete it from your DSi its gone permanently.

The Mario DSi was number one on my sons' Christmas list.It comes preloaded with games, which is wonderful. The games arefun, the camera is a blast, and the audio options keep all five of myboys busy. Nintendo also has the one year warranty if anything goeswrong, they pay the shipping, how great is that? The merchant we purchased it from couldn't have sent it any faster or cheaper. We arethrilled with the overall experience, and thanks to all for making mysons' Christmas magical!

I bought this for my 9 yr old son when his regular DS went missing (it's since been found) and he hasn't willingly put it down since he received it a week ago. My son is the expert here but as far as I know the DSi is much more interactive & features a camera with editing software, a sound recording device with editing software, an mp3 player, and can surf the web. I bought the brain-age bundle which contains games that incorporate the camera and recording features in witty games, skits, and puzzles that are super entertaining.

I bought the DSi for my 10 yr. old dtr. for Christmas. She had asked for a camera and other things. She was (and still is) so excited about the DSi!!! It has not one but TWO cameras (one that takes pictures outwardly and one that takes a picture of the person looking @ the DSi) She takes it everywhere so she's not bored and can play games, listen to music, take and edit photos, play music. We're still learning all the things it can do! I highly recommend this product and sometimes wonder if I should buy one for myself!!

I bought these for my 11 year old twins and they love them. They had the DS Lite before, and the Dsi has many more features. The camera and photo editing software keeps the kids busy for hours. The Dsi uses an sd card to hold tons of the kids photo creations, so we can take the card out and print what they have created with photos. Great product, but be careful with the hinge system, which Nintendo has not changed much at all. The hinges can break - just be gentle.

I don't get Amazon's pricing. From other reviews, we know the price has fluctuated, but there is no excuse for this. Simply put: you can buy the points directly on the Wii, for $20 + tax. Points bought on the Wii are instantly available. You can even gift those points to someone else, which means you don't need a physical card for anything. It's purely a waste - a waste of money, a waste of packaging, and a waste of time.

i gave it to my daughter for her christmas present and she loves it! what she likes the most is taking pictures. but i think you sould impove the internet because it's always slow and you can't play some things.:( you sould also add in some games other than brain age. for my opinion, i think you sould include a game, when you sell it one for a girl&boy.other than that i think it's awesome.give me an A-W-E-S-O-M-E AWESOME!!!!

Daughter is thrilled with her Birthday gift and likes that it came with brain games...saves her spending all her Christmas and b-day money on games right away!! Games are challenging to age level (12) and the editing features for sound and photos are too fun. I would recommend this for tweens and younger teens with parental supervision when it comes to computer use as this does attach to the internet.
