I just "upgraded" from the DS Lite. I was hesitant on the DSi because it did not seem worth it and I did not like the colors that were out.When I saw this bundle I jumped on it. I like the color and the Mario games were ok not what I expected tho. And if I did buy them I would have not been happy, but they were free so no complaints.The color and texture was not what I expected it was better. I had the Onyx DS Lite and the Crimson/onyx one and preferred the crimson one because the bottom part was like a matte texture and felt more comfortable while playing games. One thing I liked about the DSi was they were all matte texture but I was afraid Metallic Blue would have a metallic texture but it doesnt its matte like the others. It is kinda shiny look to the color tho.I like the bigger screen but have to get used to the button placement.Camera I have not played with too much yet but it seems fun and you can mess around with the pictures and you can upload your pics to facebook or whatever so thats cool.the amazing thing tho about Amazon was I was shopping the Black Friday sales after midnight and ordered this 12:50am on the 27th (yesterday) it was immediately processed and then shipped out around 5am and I got it in the mail this morning.*Edit*Wow I am so happy I ordered this when I did on Black Friday (staying awake to wait for gamestop to open actually) I got this for a sale price(under 160) and received it the next day.

Got exactly what I wanted, for a very reasonable price. Bought this for my husband and he constantly tells me how happy he is with it. A really great present for any age group.

I bought this for my 8 year old daughters Birthday and she loved it so much......She had so much fun taking photos and recording voices that she didn't need a game to play. She still is loving it after weeks of having it!! Would buy it again!!

Hello I'm an autistic adult gamer.This is my review on DSi Points card - 2000 points.Well I buy my DSi points card from GameStop every couple of months & load the points onto my DSi then download what ever game I want in the DSi Shop. Same Wii points that you can buy anywhere. But best price that I found the day I purchased. Only necessary if you want to download things of the Wii network. Wii system must have an Internet connection in order to redeem points.

Bought this for my 10 yr. old for Christmas. Both screens went blank on it exactly 3 weeks later. Amazon was sold out of the Mario bundle, so I couldn't exchange it for a new one. When I contacted Nintendo, they wanted to charge me $85 to repair it. After telling them that I had read online about numerous complaints that the screen was going out on these systems, I was told that my DSi did not have the same problem that those systems had. Really? I guess their customer service reps are so good that they can diagnose the problem without ever seeing the system.I told them that I would not pay to have a brand new system repaired and that Amazon was willing to return it for me. At that point, the rep agreed to repair it for free but said that my warranty will no longer be valid for any future problems. Are you kidding me?! Obviously if we're already having problems with the system, there's a good chance it will happen again!My son has a Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, and a DS Lite. All still working perfectly, yet this one broke in only 3 weeks. Sounds like poor quality and poor customer service to me!

The Wii points card is great because you can purchase a large number of games right on your Wii online. You could use your credit card right on your Wii, but if you're not sure about using your credit card on it like I am, the Wii points card is the way to go.

It's Nintendo Points. There you have it.You get a new card, unused from Amazon.com, and it works flawlessly. Perfect if you like the older Nintendo games, like me, and want to download them; many of the WiiWare titles are great, too.Buyer beware, though: NEVER pay more than $20USD, flat. Amazon.com occasionally sells these for $19.99, free shipping, so that's the ONLY time to get them here (or cheaper). Once Amazon.com sells out, it takes a while for them to replenish their stock, so that's when Marketplace sellers jump in and overcharge.Before, even Amazon.com sold these for more than what they were worth, but that no longer seems to be the case.If you can't find these here at their correct price, most retail stores sell them for $20USD, no activation charge or taxes. If they do add those, don't buy it. Go to another store that won't.

We bought this game for my wife who loves to play the games you can get on your cell phones such as Bejeweled. We had a smaller version of this for some time and we both enjoyed it. Now that we have this larger one, also, we can each sit and play the games at the same time rather than having to wait for each other to be done and then have to get the thing charged up.Anyhow, she likes it a lot and plays it all the time. We are not kids, we are adults in our 60's, so we are kind of using this game as a way to exercise our minds. We have the brain games and have tried them, but don't really find them all that much fun. Usually what we play are the solitaire games, Bejeweled, Scrabble, etc.It's a very nice machine and we like it very much.

If you own a Wii or a Nintendo DSi, these point cards are invaluable. There are so many games and applications that you can download using your DSi or Wii and a wireless internet connection. These add-on games and aps start at 200 points and go up.When you buy this card, you load it onto your DSi or your Wii by entering the activation number. You then have a 'bank' to draw from when you want to download more programs.My son loves to download on his DSi but we have also added onto our Wii.When you put the points on your DSi, they are not available on your Wii and the same goes if you put the points on your Wii. In other words, they must be used on the product that you activate them on.Once you download games or aps, they sit in the memory of the product you install them on.The Wii has a lot of options including many older Nintendo games from previous systems.In regards to pricing, one point is one cent. If you are paying anything more than that, it is not worth it.You can buy these in store but especially around Christmas, many stores were out of them.

I had a first gen. DS, and change it for the XL. Playing with these screens is amazing. Sadly, with the size, the touch screen loses precision. The DS store and the included browser are good additions, so are the cameras. Unfortunately, there are few good games who use them. If you want a DS, this is a good option, but don't forget that the 3DS is comming.

I ordered the White DSi bundle pack on Black Friday. Good price but haven't recieved the accessories that were suppose to make it a "bundle" package. Amazon makes it impossible to get in touch with customer service. There are no numbers in plain site to call and fix the problem. There was no indication that the order was split into two separate shipments or that anything was on backorder. I finally found a way to email them, hopefully someone at Amazon will read this review and contact me about when I can expect the rest of my "bundle" pack.Amazon...you need to make the customer service more accessible. This clicking through webpage after webpage is ridiculous. You should have a 800 number visible on EVERY page of your site so people can call and get problems fixed in a timely manner. This is the SECOND time I've had issues. The other time was when I tried to cancel an order in less that 12 hours of placing it. I emailed the vendors as your site indicates. Your site says any order that hasn't shipped can be cancelled. I guess the vendors chose to ignore my request to cancel the order and sent them anyway. It's criminal.

FYI, the conversion rate is 100 points = $1. SO like many people, this is not my first nintendo handheld, nor my first DS. I picked up the silver first run DS when they came out and spent many hours playing on it. I eventually upgraded to a DS lite when they came out enjoyed the larger screens and smaller package. I did not upgrade to a DSI when they came out because the addons didn't seem like they'd make a huge difference in my play time.However when the DSI XL came out and it looked like the screens were as big as PSP screen I decided to take the plunge. I'm happy with my choice. The screens are large and vibrant. The camera and voice records fucntions are super, duper fun. I'm really happy with the DSI XL.

I just got home from work and couldn't wait to play with my new Burgundy DSi XL. First off it is a deep burgundy color, not pink, not purple, more like merlot so both guys and gals will be ok with the color. I finally had to stop playing so I could give it a full charge. I played the Brain Age game that was included and it is just like the Brain Age games of past. I am a 50 plus female and it is nice to be able to see the screen much better. I did notice that it is a little tiring holding it for a long period of time but I am sure I will get used to it. All I can say is this is money well spent. I am going on a long vacation later this year and I am taking this with me for all that time in the air.

I have had at one time or another all the ds's, from ds to dsi and now the dsi xl.The reason is that I am 54 and the smaller screens are hard on the eyes after a time. Love the size but hope soon they come out with a stand to fit the xl. It is a bit less sharp and bright then the dsi but not much. ( I hope when they make new games for all of them including the xl that will get a bit better.) The screen size makes it easer for these eyes to see. lol

Got this for my daughter as a B'day present. My son got one for his two weeks earlier. Yes, we have a spawning season. We just buy gifts in bulk, like Amazon. Anyway, she loves it. They have been playing them most of the time I see them.Compact, but with a good-sized screen. Nice looking too. Good colors.

I reccomend to buy nintendo DSiXL if you are like me: bi guy with big hands. Its not easy to play the normal NDS if u have big hands. DSiXL makes it very confortable to play, and the big screen is pure awesomeness!!I reccomend it, but you should try to play with it before buying it ;D

Got this today when i got home in the Bronze color. I already own the Dsi and read a lot of review about not necessary to upgrade from Dsi and spend $189.But I have to say, this is one slick device. Since my son has the Dsi, I will keep the XL for me.The games do look much bigger and nicer on the XL.I really like it so far and when Nintendo comes out with the 3DS, I will get that too.So in the end, its a personal choice. Not a lot of upgrades from previous model but if you can afford it and play a lot of games, get it!

The screen on this system is so large I hate going back to play on the old DS lites I have. It is much heavier than previous models, and the only real complaint is that they no longer allow you to play GBA cartridges on any DSi model. Which in my opinion the GBA slot feature is more useful than the camera, unless they remake all my old GBA games.

I just have to add my review to the bunch...my gosh, the screen is soooo much larger than the original ds/dsi. We have a dsi and just purchased the dsi xl, and the difference is amazing. Games where it was difficult to read the small print come out clear as a bell on the xl. I don't mind carrying around a slightly larger case - it is so worth it!

The new big screen is great along with the other new functions like a digtal camera. Would recommend you get a memory card if you plan to give as gift, a normal SD card for digatl camares. This is a big improvement over the old unit.

Typically I will just add points on the Wii shop channel with my credit card, but bought this to wrap as a gift. So we go to redeem it by getting the number -- you have to scratch off the gray material to reveal the number beneath. It says scratch gently, so I do with my fingernail--nothing scratches off. then I get a coin, and it starts to scratch off the gray covering, and the rest of the paper with the numbers. Very flimsy material. Nintendo customer support will credit your system if you mail them the card.Unless you are giving this as a gift (or don't have a credit card) you are best to buy points directly on the Wii/DSi Shop Channel. Nintendo charges sales tax based on your county, so you might get a better deal elsewhere with no tax/shipping, but be warned.
