I got these primarily so I could listen to music and audio podcasts on my Env3 while I walked my dogs. I have to say I really like the wireless aspect. I have enough things around my neck and in my hands without having to worry about headphone cords and an mp3 player too. They fit okay and have good enough sound. When I use them as a hands free device for my phone the person on the other end can understand me well enough with no complaints or asking me to repeat things alot.The only nit I can pick is when I have it in my pants pocket and I'm in a very open area (like a field or a park) the sound cuts out. Then again I'm not exactly 'petite' so it's most likely just a 'line of sight' issue. I have to have my phone in my shirt pocket if I'm not in a car or at home where the signal can reflect off the interior walls. If I am at home I can leave the phone on the counter and still get a good signal throughout most of the house. Battery life is plenty sufficient for what I'm using them for.I'll admit he construction *does* feel a little cheap. I noticed the buttons on mine rattled a little but when I first put it on and I could hear it when I turned my head. I didn't notice it though when I was actually using them. Either way, for $40 that's hardly a deal breaker. The bottom line is you get a decent pair of wireless bluetooth headphones for not much more than you would pay for a good pair of regular ones. I did a lot of research before buying these and I'm happy with them. Could they be better? Yeah, but then they would be $90-$100 or more. At $40 I can afford to replace them with another pair if they die an untimely death.

This is my fourth set of Motorola bluetooth headphones. All have failed, this last set 1 week after the return window closed on Amazon.The problem is that they will eventually fail if the controls get wet from sweat. Not a good design for the active athlete.Same issue with the other model(Motorola S9-HD). Factor this into your purchase decision - do you want to buy a new headset every 4-6 months?

I love these headphones, but they shorted out twice after getting some sweat on them at the gym. Returned it and the same thing happened to the new pair. I suppose that some of my sweat got into the machine and shorted it out. Gave up! It's a shame, because the sound quality is great and they look awesome :(

I agree with one reviewer that it 'seems' cheap, but I really love this. Works great, and it can pair with more than one device. For example, I have it paired to my iPad and iPhone, so I can be watching a movie on the iPad and still take calls from the iPhone. It seems only one device at a time gets the stereo for music listening though.Controls are so easy to use too, all on one side, and intuitive, my only gripe is the volume button is sometimes hard to find by touch.

I found these headphone nice, however they didnt work for me. The problem I have is if you wear glasses, any headphone that wrap around your ear never quite fit right and are sometimes painful. Pairing was easy, they looked very well constructed, but the volume was a little low for me, great for a jog but no loud enough to compete with the lawnmower.

Bought for IPOD touch 4th gen. and new IPAD. I bought two. Set up was simple and sound for me (I am not an audiophile) is very good.An extra is the AC to USB charger included with each unit. I used the charger for other products.For the money I think they are great

My first month with these headphones were great. Worked well and I didn't have any of the issues other iphone4 users had. The next and previous buttons did work for me as well as the voice commands. BUT, the damn things just started acting up. While listening to the music they would constantly cut out, very agrivating. I tested my iphone with other bluetooth items and they all worked fine so I know it was the headphones. To boot, it all started right after the return date!!!!

My first set of bluetooth headphones were Sony's DR-BT21G. Those were cool and they did their job for about a year until the volume control broke. But, they cost me a little over $100. They felt flimsy and cheap, but, again, they did their job. The sound so so.I'm a hardcore runner and I do other "crossfit" type of workouts. Not like other people who review other headphones and state that they're great for workouts. What are they doing for a workout? Some fat dude walking down the block and back? Because that's the only way I can imagine some of the other headphones staying in their ear or not failing due to sweat. Anyway, that's another thing, the Motorola holds up well to the sweat and shaking. I have them paired to my iphone. Like other people have said, you can't control the phone via the actual headphones, but, no big deal.For $40 and free shipping, you can't beat this deal. Yeah, the sound is ok, and the build quality isn't top notch, but, for the price they are awesome. Actually, the sound and build quality is much better than my old Sony, so, that's cool.Grab a pair, you won't regret it. Just keep in mind that these are great for workouts and getting some music piped into your ears.Don't get these expecting crystal clear sound and the most awesome set of BT's for talking on your phone.

I was looking for bluetooth stereo for my iPod without breaking the bank. I wanted a headset to wear while playing golf. Wired headsets were distracting during my swing, so I wanted a light weight Bluetooth set. Like previous reviewers, the sound seems to intermittently break up when I have the iPod in my pocket. Then I started leaving the iPod in my golf bag. No more sound breaks! If I leave the bag next to the green, I can walk anywhere on most greens and stay within range. If I'm going outside of 25 feet or so, I can pause the iPod with the headset controls until I return within range. The only drawback is my ears get sweaty in hot weather due to the over-ear design. Otherwise they are comfortable and almost unnoticed while I play. Also, they don't block out ambient noise. Like when the golfer in the next fairway shanks one my way and yells FOUR, I still hear it. It's very pleasant to play golf to my favorite music. I think my game is improving, too.

I ordered these headphones for use with my Ipod Touch 3rd generation. The sound quality is very good and has no interference (unless I was more than 30 feet away from my Ipod Touch). It is easy to set up and use and comfortable too.However, there are some features I thought I would get, but I didn't due to the Ipod Touch doesn't support a certain standard for bluetooth headsets. The only functions the bluetooth headset supports with my Ipod is increasing or decreasing volume and pause or play. The microphone is not supported and navigating songs is not supported. I was hoping to get the microphone feature as the 3rd generation Ipod Touch has voice recognition, but I did suffice with attaching an Ipod Touch microphone at the bottom of the Ipod Touch. I also noticed that there may be a second of delay to pause or play music using the headset to control the Ipod.One other caveat (I believe this is for any bluetooth headset in general): watching video on my Ipod Touch does not synch well with the audio heard in the headset. Thus, I use this headset primarilly for listening to music while exercising.The only defect with the headphones I notice is that sometimes I hear a faint high frequency sound when music is paused. But when music plays, I can't hear it. Overall, I am still happy with the headphones for the functions I need it for.

I use these a lot and like them a lot. It's great to have your podcast or music pause when you take a call (I play mp3 files off a 4GB or 8GB MicroSD card in my nokia symbian phone) and it's great to have the voice in both ears when you are in a noisy environment.On the other hand when I talk to others, if there are any other voices in the background, they tend to complain or be confused. The microphone is not very selective, so they year the voices of people in other parts of the room almost as much as mine.I'm looking for alternatives- ideally something with (a) better microphone selectivity that (b) looks more "on the phone" and (c) less "listening to music" for use in a noisy warehouse and office

I've been using my Motorola S305 wireless headphones for about 2 months and I've really enjoyed them. They are my first wireless headphones. I read a lot of reviews for various headphones and chose these. They are plenty loud and clear enough for around the house and for average driving noise. Putting them on is sometimes confusing. I have to look at them a second or two before I put them on to get them oriented properly. The way the 'strap' lies on your neck is okay, but I do wear a collared shirt and tie so the strap bumps into my collar and can be annoying at times, especially when wearing a winter coat. They do cut out once in a while, but I don't know if it's the head set or my phone (Samsung Flight). The cutting out usually occurs in the same areas during my commute, so it's probably high voltage lines or other electrical disturbances. Overall, I'm happy and will probably get my wife a pair for Mother's day.

I own another pair of the Motorola Bluetooth headphones. I enjoy them, but they consistently lose connection when used. I read some reviews concerning these and thought that I'd try upgrading. They connect pretty well to my iTouch as well as my phone. I've managed to place my iTouch in a bedroom and walk away, around 20ft, and still had my connection. I forgot that I didn't have the iTouch even with me. I tried it out with my phone by placing a call. The other person said that she could hear me very well. The battery life seems to be good as well. I charged them and they've sat for awhile and still held a charge.The ONLY two negatives that I've come across so far is that:1. I'm not real crazy about the fit. Yes, you can't really tell that you have them on, but they are very loose. Comfortable, but now I can understand why the hook over the ears.2. The older headphones had multiple colored lights that could tell you what was going on. A minor detail, but it helped knowing when it was charging, syncing, and connected. There are tones that you can hear, but I've found that I need to push the power button while the headphones are off so that I can find it. So the tones don't really do much for me. The smaller buttons are also a little difficult to find, but I really don't have as much of a problem with them.

this is a GREAT product, although i give it a 4 simply because range is minimal, but it connected to my macbook fine(details later) as well as my iphone (but will also work with ipod touch) as well as my old en-v.sound quality is a superb 9/10 however... this devise is very good, but its quality is limited only by the devise your connecting it to. for example: to my suprise i get the worse sound quality when connecting to my Macbook pro minimal static when loud, when i use my iphone i get decent sound quality static but not noticeable unless listening to music with high treble. but when i use my old en-v 3 sound quality is AMAZING! i cant tell if im wearing corded-headphones...that leads to comfort in initial use they began irritating my ears within the first few hours but after you wear them a while i find that i no longer notice the comfortability. at high volume the battery lasts about 4 hours but its rechargeable so i cant complain. when using them for calls sound quality is once again excellent, however the mic is sooo good that the person your talking to will be able to hear others talking around you. they also feel a little flimsy, but i think motorola reduced weight by using plastic instead of metal, so far it hasnt been a problem. my friend wears glasses and he finds them very good for those who wear them. i have been through 3 bluetooth head phone and this one is better than some of the 80$ ones. a great value!

You will love these headphones if you can live with the following pitfalls that I experienced:- The +- volume button are a bit loose and make noise if you are bouncing up and down. This could be solved by putting a peice of tape over those buttons, but why should you have to do that in the first place? I cannot hear this noise when I am on the elliptical at the gym or lifting weights; although running on the teadmill or doing sit-ups would cause this noise to trigger.- The headphones stopped working within in a month or so. I assume due to usage at the gym. So do not go exercising and expect these things to survive.- Customer service from Motorola is very questionable. It took around 8-9 calls for the replacement to ship. Apparently their computer system to process the order was down, and on several occasions I was told that it should be back up in 1-2 hours, and it ended up taking about 4-5 days.Overall, great headphones for the price. I love having no wires to deal with, but there are the pitfalls above.

My setup is the iPhone 3G with OS 3.0.Sound:Really good. Probably one step below wired Sennheiser PMX60 Headphones. Not tinny like the Nokia BH-503.4 out of 5 starsMicrophone:Good again. No problems here.4 out of 5 starsComfort:Good yet again. I can wear them for about an hour before they start to bother my ears. They are a little bit heavier than the PMX60 I mentioned earlier. They are much lighter than the Nokia BH-503!4 out of 5 starsControls:This is probably the biggest bummer. The controls work fine (if you have full AVRCP with your Bluetooth stack you'll enjoy more than just Play/Pause [iPhone doesn't have this as of my review date]) it's just they're not well laid out and not easy to press while on your head.3 out of 5 stars.Connectivity:No problems but these lose a half star just because the tones that tell you whether you're connected sound pretty bad. I just sort of shake my head when I think of this and the poor control layout as problems. It's so minor but it stands out!4.5 out of 5 stars.Overall:There's still room for improvement but if you want to work out with these (i.e. gym, run, bike, etc.) you'll have no problem. If you're looking for excellent audio and a pair you'll be able to wear forever than it's time to step back and grab yourself the PMX60 wired ones. Here's hoping Sennheiser will enter the market but until that day these are a good substitute worthy of your dollar.4 out of 5 stars

I bought this headset to go with my BlackBerry 8900. The wired stereo headphones that came with my phone were always needing to be untangled whenever I wanted to use them. This was an annoyance. Then the cord broke while I jammed to some of my favorite music. Replacing them was out of the question as it costs $20 for a new set. That seemed overpriced.I wanted headsets that I could use for listening to podcasts, music, and talking. I was through with wires, and this is the best value stereo bluetooth headset that i could find online.They have worked excellently. The charge will last me about two days of regular use. I wear them everywhere, and I do not have to worry about untangling cords everytime that I use the headset. They are a joy to use! This is one of the best purchases that I have made all year.

I bought these because the usual Bluetooth devices won't stay in my ear. These headphones work awesome! The sound is very good, although don't expect DJ headphone-quality tones - they will distort on heavy bass or high volume.Most importantly, the microphone works very well. I've had multiple people tell me it sounds like I'm holding my G1, not speaking through a Bluetooth device. Cost is reasonable, and style is cool, too.5/5** EDIT ** I have since purchased Motorola HT820 and for phone calls, these are far superior. For music, HT820 is a little better, but I added this note to state that S305 is just so good for phone calls, it eclipses even higher-level offerings from the same company. Oh, I've also left them out in the rain, worked out with them, sat on them, etc etc and they still function just as when I purchased. One of my best purchases ever! 11/24/10

These are fantastic headphones! I paired them up with my iphone and laptop, and I was shocked at how good they sound for wireless. No cracks or pops or hissing. They sound as good as any other wired headphones I have. I had some issues getting them to work with windows 7 (32 bit), but found if you just get drivers from [...] it all works well.Battery life seemed good, about 4 hours of music. Charging is fast. One down side is you can't charge while using them. The fit very well and look pretty cool. I wish they were a bit thinner though, as they look a tad bulky. I used them at the gym, and I felt so free having no cables. Very liberating. I also tried them with my iphone for calls and everyone said I sounded clear. It all works as it should. Very impressed for my first pair of bluetooth headphones. Don't wait another second to get a pair!

I don't wanna talk about the pros since most people reviewed it enough with many good points.The cons for me:It doesn't automatically connect to the previous paired devices sometime, and even though it's found and connected by computer or cell phone, it doesn't make any sound, and you have to delete it from device manager or list and re-pair it with the device. This made bluetooth not that convenient.It hard to keep the earphone horizontally and it will distort very easily and not coming back to it's original shape even you tried to recover it according to the manual. The material is very flexible, but hard to control the shape of the product.----Anyway, not a bad buy compares to moto s805.

got these at retail(Fry's), for actually less than they are listing on here (what's up with that Amazon??) Stereo sound for music is decent, not the best I've heard(it lacks bass response some). Sound for calls was good, I can hear the caller just fine, and the Mic works OK, they hear me clearly too. Range is good, though I have not stressed it, with the iPhone in my pocket I have gotten no cut-outs or issues so far.I was a little concerned about the build quality at first, since the volume buttons were a bit rattly, but this has turned out to be a non-issue. all controls work, except the forward/back track buttons, but mostly i just want pause/play and volume anyway...the controls are easy to reach, and work well.The changer looks like a proprietary plug, which is disappointing, id prefer it was a standard usb mini plug.Super easy to pair up with my iPhone 3g.So, 4 stars for working as advertised, and doing a pretty damn good job at it. :-)
