I'm impressed with the sound quality of this Bluetooth headset, mostly because it's Bluetooth. I haven't had great experiences regarding sound quality on Bluetooth devices. This one is different. The sound embodies crisp highs and full lows. Some headsets are mid-range only, but I'm happy to report these rein in the full scope of sound.They seem to have one small drawback: the volume. It's too low. At their loudest, they're just below where I usually listen to music. Not good for lawn mowing or anyplace where there is ambient noise. I hear conversations from the patio next door when I have them on at full blast. One weird little quirk about that: I like them for bike riding. With my Bose ear buds, they're very loud and I can't hear car traffic, but with the Motorola S305 on, I can hear the music pretty well while also detecting oncoming cars.Battery life is good, functionality is good, sound quality is good less the volume issue. It's very lightweight and flexible. Easy to use and quick to charge. I don't have any real issues with this unit except the volume. I would still recommend them for use with the Apple iPod touch 32 GB (4th Generation) NEWEST MODEL.

This is actually my second pair. I like them so much I decided to buy one for home use so I didn't have to drag them between work and home. I work out in the yard a lot and was tired of snagging the headphone cord with a tool or having ear-buds pop out. I gave the Motorola S305 a try and they work great. I also took a pair to work. The coolest feature is I'm able to pause and play but touching the ear piece. This is nice when people come up to the cube and interrupt me.The sound quality is good for music and perfect for pod casts. My last set of headphones were a pair of Boise so if you listen to a lot of music and need superb quality you probably aren't looking at a $35 headset anyways. Also, because of my purchase 4 other co-workers have bought the same headphones and like the S305s as well.

This is a great product. Sound quality is very good and works great when making phone calls. I have used them with my Droid X and HP Slate both were easy to pair with and word right away. Works as a dictation device on HP Slate running Windows 7. Great product at a great price.

It is every easy to set up and carry around wirelessly with good sound quality.However, I am very sensitive to high frequency sound, and i kept hearing buzzing noise when the music volume is low. It is very obviously for the right side output. I think it because that all the buttons are designed to lay out on the right side, and maybe the complex circuit produces these noises.I have requested a replacement, but it has the exactly same problem. So now i have the excuse to turn on the music pretty loud to cover the buzzing noise. Other than that, the overall quality is good.

these are not meant to be for running and exercise, don't get me wrong, they hold very well and have great distance, the only problem is that once sweat leaks in the sound quality starts getting distorted.I bought these for both recreational use (going to class) and running however I noticed some static when I ran with it for awhile so I stopped running with them on and there have been no problems ever since.I also bought these KNOWING that other people talked about the sweat problems and it is very trueother than that, this is an AMAZING product

I bought these specifically to wear while running (using an iPhone 3Gs). They're lightweight, they stay in place, and the sound quality is ok. I keep the volume relatively low, so I can still hear things around me. All in all, I'm pleased with my purchase.I did notice that there were periodic interruptions in the audio, but that doesn't bother me too much during a workout.I also paired these with my laptop and worked for about 4 hours straight. They're lightweight enough that they didn't become uncomfortable (though they felt a little awkward at first - the strap bumps against my glasses), and the sound quality stayed consistent (no interruptions).I'd say they're worth every penny.

First off, I'd like to say that I had gotten these with fairly low expectations. Technology always comes with a trade off, and I had expected to loose a lot of quality in audio and connectivity in trade for the cordless tech. I also had been told that my phone was not compatible for responding to the remote buttons on the headphones. That being said, I felt the price was reasonable and worth giving it a shot, to stop worrying about being tangled in cords on my workouts and daily commute.I was pleasantly surprised, when I got these, to discover that the audio quality was actually quite good, surpassing the mid-range Skullcandy I was replacing. The amount of battery life is quite good, as is the recharging speed. And the controls do work perfectly with my phone, despite what I had been told. The mic quality is good, with no difficulty being heard during phone calls.The range also is good, about 30 ft (in direct view. not so good if it has to go through concrete walls), and there is only an occasional hiccup in audio playback (this seems limited to certain situations during my commute though I've yet to pinpoint what variables are causing it). Still, again, tech has a trade off so I consider these rare hiccups and limited range to be perfectly reasonable in exchange for being wire free. After all, with wires, you certainly wouldn't get anywhere close to 30ft away from your device.I am very satisfied with these headphones and fully intend to order a pair for a family member as well.

These are awesome.... Conferable, sounds great, light weight, no wire, no static, better than my iPhone ear buds, and definitely a very nice price for the quality. I use these mostly at work for listening to music 5+ hours at a time. Works excellent for music and calls. I am very impressed and these are the best bluetooth headphones/headset I've ever owned. Very highly recommended!Update: 7/1/2011 -- READ READ READThis is an update to the above review. I recently started going back to the gym and used these headphones about 3 times and now they stopped working. They will not charge or turn on. So, I am going to say these headphones do not hold up to perspiration. If you plan on using these headphones at the gym or any activity that will cause you to sweat then don't get these. They will die.If you have no plans of using these while working out or activities that will cause you to sweat these are still awesome headphones. I really liked them and was sad when they stopped working. Hopefully Motorola will stick by their product and warranty it.

Had been shopping awhile for bluetooth sterio headset that was also a phone headset. About a year ago bought a Rocketfish from Best Buy. No way around it, I have a big head, and the Rocketfish just did not fit well, very tight. Turn my head and it just about falls off.The Motorola S305 was fantastic in this area, fits well around my head and even though I wear glasses, worked well over the ears too.The only issues, and I use the word lightly, is that it wasn't as 'sweat' proof as the rocketfish. But it looks sharper, more professional, than the rocketfish so its a good trade off, just have to wear head sweat bands from now on...Also, battery can not be replaced by end user, has to be exchange by Motorola, so I was without my favorite tool for a week....Other than that, worked great with my Motorola Cliq, and with my bluetooth enabled laptop!!Brian

If you don't wear glasses, I would highly recommend these. For the price, the sound quality is outstanding. The only issue I've encountered is that the added pressure on my glasses make them dig in accross the top of my ears. I thought the different way these are worn would work with glasses, but they don't. However, I still use them. I like them that much.

I got this because my girlfriend tends to not sleep, turns on her computer and watches TV online. she was getting tangled and annoyed with having a cord, bam, here's the solution.audio wise- they're fine unless you're a snob.connectivity to a Mac was a piece of cake as Mac tends to make things easy.the fact that you can pair them to a phone and use them as a phone headset is just gravy to me.good product, I'd recommend to anyone who wants fewer wires in their life.

I ORDERED THE STEREO HEADSET AND HERE IS 4 WORKING DAYS. CHARGED IT AND EASILY PAIRED IT WITH MY BB TORCH AND THEN WITH MY iPAD. SOUND IS VERY GOOD AND IT MAKES CONVERSATION ON THE TORCH A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. HOWEVER, IT IS INTENDED FOR THE iPAD AND I HAVE FALLEN ASLEEP THE PAST SEVERAL NIGHTS LISTENING TO PANDORA OR MY PURCHASED MUSIC. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! BUY IT AT AMAZON, WHERE I GOT MINE.

My wired headset is an AKG studio 141. The Motorolas provide a crisp and clear tone within the bottoms and basses. By far the best sounding headsets I own. The range and battery life could be improved, but an excellent buy, and a tremendous sound. I would pay $100 for these.

Simply this headset delivers an incredibly clear music quality, it far exceeded my expectations given its small size and very cheap price. It delivers very good Bass and reminds me of much bigger headsets like Bose or Sennheiser. Also it was a snap to pair it with my Samsung Galaxy S phone.This is a GREAT product and I strongly recommend it to anybody looking for a Bluetooth wireless headset to listen to amazing music quality.

I like the headphones, but I have had to return 2 and the third one won't charge after only a few weeks of use. My concern is that they are not good if you use them to work out and you sweat.

After reviewing comments on several stereo headsets I chose the Moto S305 and I'm a very happy camper. Installing and connecting to my Iphone 4 was a breeze. A couple of clicks and I was connected. It has ourstanding clarity when used with the phone or Ipod. I've had great reception from as far away as 30'. Distance limited to size of my condo. I did encounter one nuisance. While using the headset with my Ipod feature the audio kept breaking up. I discovered when the auto lock kicked in the problem started. I did some research on Google and talked to Apple support but found nothing conclusive except someone seemed to have success with a reboot. Since I'm new to Apple and the Iphone I didn't know exactly what a reboot is. For the Iphone there are actually a reset network, hard reset and restore. After thinking about it for a while I decided to turn the Iphone off and then it back on. This seemed like What I would consider a reboot. The headset works fine now with the auto lock feature set to 3 minutes.As Jackie Evancho would say, fantablioso! I would highly recomment this headset for the Iphone 4. And what a steal for $33 with no shipping costs from Amazon.

I was dubious because of the price and some other reviews, but these have worked great. I agree with some other reviewers that a headband is a must. I use these for doing BeachBody's Insanity workouts so you KNOW I'm covered in sweat with these things. I do dry them off with a tissue when I'm done to make sure they last, but so far they have been phenomenal.

First, a rap on the knuckles to Microsoft for not having A2DP bluetooth drivers shipped with Windows 7 64 bit.In order to use the S305, I bought a bluetooth dongle that includes the ability to stream music. It is an inexpensive ASUS BT-211. It recognized and connected to the S305 but the drivers did not include the magic necessary for the S305 to appear in Windows 7 Sound/Audio Devices, so it could not be selected as the default sound device.After MUCH searching for the correct USB bluetooth device and drivers I stumbled upon directions to uninstall the existing Windows 7 bluetooth drivers (rather than update them) and replace them with updated Windows 7 drivers from the Broadcom site.To begin, I went to device manager, right-clicked on the usb bluetooth device, chose Update Driver and then clicked the box for deleting the drivers.On the Broadcom site, the file I downloaded is Bluetooth_Broadcom_V7a_6.2.1.500.zip.Installation was a piece of cake. The S305 appeared as an audio device and I was able to select it as the default. When right clicking on the headset in the Devices window a new selection appears - Control. This allows one to set one headset parameter and connect to the device.I'm listening to Mannheim Steamroller Christmas music through a Windows 7 Homegroup connection from my laptop to my husband's laptop. The quality would not satisfy a sound afficionado, but it is quite acceptable to me.

Easy to sync. Audio quality is ok for the price. Have a high pitch whine in the right ear whenever data is being sent. Don't really notice the sound during music playback, but is obvious during podcasts. Not sure if they are defective or if that is just what you have to deal with when using Bluetooth headsets.

how can it last for less than 30min????? no way......... piece of chunk by Motorola.... oh, and by the way, the battery died during the first month that I used. Meaning: had to send back to Amazon. Not a good experience with it at all.

I like this headset. The only thing detracting from 5 stars is the buttons are hard to find when the headset is worn. Maybe this just takes some time to get used to. But overall, these were a good buy for me.

What a disappointment. When listening to music these headphones cut in and out every couple of minutes even with my phone in my pocket. When using the talk button it sounds like you are in a tin can. The distance is maybe up to 20'. When wearing them for more than an hour the foam makes your ears too warm because of the foam pad. Also, the wrap around starts to hurt the backside of your ear. I use them when I am working and I would have to say "You get what you pay for" I use with my Droid X.

I bought these headphones to pair with a Droid X. I was originally just looking for BT headphones when I found these. I really like how you can be listening to streaming music with these, and if a call comes in the music cuts out and you can just click the phone button to pick up the call. Sound quality for music is excellent for no more than these headphones cost. Sound quality on calls - for both sides is as good if not better than most BT headsets. I was really surprised by this since the tiny mic is concealed in the right ear-piece. They don't really seem too flimsy but time will tell how well they hold up to daily use. I'll try to follow up in a few months to say how they do. So far I'm very satisfied.P.S. One word of caution: If you're jamming in the workplace, make sure you turn the music off on the phone or mp3 player before powering the headphones off. It could be a little embarrassing when "Porn Star Dancing" blares out at near full volume... Don't ask how I know
